A Christmas Day of Snowy Fun

It was Christmas Day, and the first day of a heavy snow. Everyhting was covered in the white powder, in the city of Hartford. Kids were outside playing, while a certain person was being woken up by his wife.

"Logan get up! Look at all the beautiful snow outside!" Rory Gilmore-Huntzberger siade while attmepting to pull her husband out of bed. He didn't budge, but smiled inside at how anxious Rory was to getting outside. He was shocked she was actually choosing the snow over the presents that were currently under the tree downstairs. She had been nagging him about them for weeks.

"Okay Ace, I'm up." Logan groaned after being pulled on or the last time. Rory beamed and kissed him then ran downstairs to grab her coat. After putting on the appropriate clothes for the occasion Logan went downstairs to grab his coat as well. He found Rory with what was probably his fifth cup of coffe in her hand waiting on him in front of the door. "How many cups does that make you?" Logan asked, but instead of answering him she opened the front door and pushed him out following behind after setting her coffee cup down. He picked her up and threw her down in a pile of snow that had been cleared for their walk way. She laughed and then threw some snow at him.

"Let's build a snow man!" Rory said as she ran to the front of the yard. Logan followed running after her, before she could get started he captured her lips in his. "What was that for?"

"Merry Christmas." was all he said then he grabbed some snow and began to pack it. Rory smiled. "We need something for its eyes, nose and mouth. Logan said looking at the very blank snow in front of them. Rorry nodded then ran intot he house and came back out a few minutes later with chocolate kisses, licorice and celery. Logan gave a skeptical look to the celery.

"We didn't have a carrot so this will have to do." Rory said putting it into the snow as a nose. He just smiled. They both stood back and took a look at the odd looking snowman in front of them. Then burst out laughing. Rory laughed so hard she fell to the snow. After calming down Logan sat himself gently on top of her, strattling her sorta of."I love you, and Merry Christmas."

"I love you too, and Merry Christmas to you." Logan said as he leaned down to give her a kiss. "Do you want to open the presents now?" Logan asked as he got off of her. She quickly scrambled to her feet and nodded then grabbed his hand to pull him in the house.

Rory grabbed the biggest box under the tree first after Logan chose the one he wanted. She opened it to find another box. Logan watched her with amusement as she kept un-wrapping and opening the boxes and finding a smaller one, and smaller one. Until she finally got to about the twentieth box which was very very small. Inside was a velvet box with a silver necklace that said 'Love' on it. Rory jumped up and gave Logan a huge kiss on the lips.

"Thank you I love it." she said then watched as he opened his much larger gift. It was a poker table.

"Thank you Ace." Logan said giving her a kiss. After opening the rest of their Christmas gifts they headed back upstairs to get some more sleep.

"Merry Christmas Ace."

"Merry Christmas Logan."
