Fable – The Temple Of Avo
Chapter One – Like Old Times
A long time ago a great hero's guarded the land of Albion and the people who roamed the land. But though hero's seem to be guardians from Avo, Some are the Skorms evil spawns and can cause chaos and terror all over Albion. In a town called Oakvale a wise old man sat in Oakvale pub – The Cheerful Jester –This wise hero's name is Rhys while his wife served Oakvale's kind ladies and gentlemen drinks and refreshments. All of a sudden a little girl and boy whose names where Fiona And Jonathan ran into the pub like a stampede knocking glasses and everything breakable off the tables. As soon as they reached where Rhys was sitting the little girl yelled
"Father we've found a treasure box in the flower patch by the cabbage patch, Come look!"
Rhys seemed to know what they were talking about therefore he had opened a lot of these " Treasure Boxes " in his hero days. He stood up and walked over to the bar, drinking the rest of the beer left in the bottom of the glass. Handing his glass over to his wife he smiles and says
" Little miss and mr explorers have found something near the cabbage patch, They want their Heroic father to dig it out and open it!... So should I?"
" Please mother! Pretty pretty please….." Said Fiona
" Oh go on then you little rascals!"
Both Fiona and Jonathan jumped with joy and ran off the cabbage patch.
" I love you Rhys "
" I love you too….Rose "
They both smiled and kissed before Rhys turned around and walked out and towards the cabbage patch.
- Mc Higgs Cabbage Patch -
" Over Here! " Shouted Jonathan as he waved his arms franticly
Rhys ran over to Jonathan and Fiona and stuck his spade under the large box and lifted it out the ground in one big scoop. They all stepped back and gazed upon the large box. Not thinking about anything else that they uncounted in the day they opened the box to find…….. A small box and a small diamond shaped rock with a blue shaped rock in the middle.
"What's this father? " Fiona said as she handed the Amulet over to his father
" I don't know Fiona….I don't know…."
Diving into the box Jonathan found a letter to Rhys from his sister.
" Father look! "
He handed the note to his father without even exploring the rest of the box. The letter read:
Dear Little Brother Rhys,
Congratulations on defeating Jack of blades and you now are old and wise enough to know that I am more than just an ordinary woman. I am actually a mysterious sorceress of Avo , I didn't want to tell you that I got my powers from Avo because you wouldn't understand that im holy. The reason I buried this box is because you will have children of your own someday and when that day comes they will want to be hero's / heroine's like you are. I have left you this Amulet of Guidance for one of your children which will lead he/she to a great source of light where will show the young hero / heroine their path to Avo. They will become a Legendary person just like you.
