Abby slumps forward, bruised and bloody.
The big guy grabs her out of the chair.
"Let's go for a ride."
He pushes Abby and she finds her feet, walks forward.
They leave the room, with Peter and Travis behind them. They walk down a dark hallway, towards an exit door.
They exit into an alley. It's still dark outside.
There's a black SUV waiting, and the big guy opens the door. Just as he's about to push Abby in, Abby looks up and sees someone at the end of the alley. It looks like⦠but it couldn't be. She must be imagining it.
It looks like Mike.
He looks directly at her, and freezes.
Then Abby's in the SUV, with Travis next to her, Peter in the front, and the big guy driving.
The SUV pulls out of the alley, and Mike's nowhere to be seen. She must have imagined it, after all.
Mike flattens himself in the doorway, watching the SUV reverse. That was definitely Abby, he thinks. Definitely Abby with her hands tied behind her back, being pushed into an SUV with three very shady guys.
He watches it reverse and drive away up the street. Mike panics. He looks up the street and sees a taxi approaching. He waves it down frantically and it stops.
Mike jumps in and says, "Follow that black SUV!"
The taxi driver turns around, excited. "I've been driving for 8 years, just waiting for this moment!"
He accelerates and catches up to the SUV.
The SUV pulls up outside an old warehouse. Abby knows this warehouse. It's where it all went down, last time. And it's where it's all going to end.
The door opens and the big guy pulls her out. Abby stares at the building. The memories come flooding back.
