When Adrien and Marinette arrived at the house Hugo ran to Marinette with a bright smile. "Mommy!"

Marinette picked him up. "Hi dear, how was your day?"

"It was great!" Hugo noticed Adrien. "Hi Plagg, are you here for the dinner party too?"

Adrien nodded. "Yes I am." Marinette's parents were already there and Adrien was about to greet them when the doorbell rang. "I'll get that." Adrien strolled to the front door and opened it to be face to face with Philip.

The two stared at each other for a moment before Philip smiled almost evilly. "Good evening Plagg, may I come in?"

"Sure Philip." Adrien let Philip in without showing any emotions. "May I ask where Juleka is?"

Philip walked in as if he owned the place. "She sadly couldn't make it tonight. She stayed home because she wasn't feeling well."

Adrien glanced out the door and held back a smirk. "Oh really so why is she walking over here right now?"

Phillip immediately turned to the door to see Juleka walking in wearing a purple dress. "Honey what are you doing here? We agreed that you would stay home."

"I know but I'm feeling better now and I couldn't miss this dinner. The group hasn't been able to hang out in so long." Juleka replied.

Marinette walked over to them with a smile. "Juleka Philip I'm so glad that you could make it."

Juleka gave Marinette a hug. "We wouldn't miss it for anything in the world. Right honey?"

Philip nodded with a fake smile. "Right."

At that moment Nino and Alya along with Edward and Roxie walked in the house. "I hope we didn't miss the party." Nino said playfully.

Marinette giggled softly. "Of course not, it hasn't even started yet. We're just waiting on-"

"Sorry that we're late, there was a lot of traffic." Luka said as he walked in with Kagami by his side.

"Not a problem, everyone else just got here too." Marinette said while leading everyone deeper into the house.

Adrien closed the door before following everyone else. He walked over to Tom and Sabine. "I wasn't able to greet you before. It's nice to see both of you again."

Tom nodded. "Likewise."

"How have you been?" Sabine asked with a smile.

Adrien returned the smile. "I have been doing well."

"I'm glad you were able to come, Plagg." Alya told Adrien with a smile as she walked over to him.

Adrien smiled. "It was my pleasure to join you all."

"So you're Plagg? Everyone has told me wonderful things about you. I'm Roxie." Roxie extended her hand to Adrien.

Adrien shook it. "Nice to meet you too Roxie. Edward has told me a lot about you."

"All good things I hope." Roxie said playfully.

"Of course he only says amazing things about you." Adrien replied.

Kagami walked over to Adrien. "Plagg, Juleka has told us that you and your cousin Chloe have helped her a lot with finding her confidence. I want to thank you personally."

"Don't mention it. Juleka is my friend and I'll do anything for a friend." Adrien replied.

"Dinner is ready." Sabine announced.

Everyone sat down at the dinner table Marinette was sitting in between Philip and Adrien as Hugo was sitting on the other side of Adrien and Juleka was sitting on the other side of Philip. As everyone at the table started talking and laughing Adrien and Philip would give death glares to each other when no one was looking.

"Philip was prepared to do anything possible to get Marinette's attention." Adrien told Nathaniel and Chloe when he went to the rental home after the dinner. He was even pacing around his room. "He even tried to have Juleka stay home so he would have more 'freedom'. Luckily Juleka did go but even if she didn't I would have made sure it wouldn't be so easy for him."

"I know how you're feeling, Adrien. Though don't forget everyone thinks you're dead so if Marinette does fall in love with Philip or anyone else she wouldn't be doing anything illegal or immoral because you're 'officially' dead." Nathaniel stated.

Adrien sighs. "I know and I wouldn't blame her if that happens even though I'm going to be hard broken. Though I know Philip and he's not after Marinette because of love. He's either just attracted to her, or wants something from her. Plus he has always wanted everything that I have. That's why I want to clear my name as soon as possible."

"In that case we need to visit Juleka as soon as possible so we can see how she's feeling and so one of us can search the house for any evidence in your favor." Chloe stated,

Adrien nodded with determination in his eyes. "Yes, as soon as possible."

The next morning Adrien visited Juleka knowing that Philip wasn't going to be there because he always left early in the morning, almost always avoiding taking Juleka with him.

Adrien knocked on the front door and Juleka, still in her PJ's, opened the door and looked at him surprised. "Plagg, what a surprise. What brought you here so early?"

"I just came to see how you're doing since Philip did mention last night that you weren't feeling well even though you still went to the dinner." Adrien replied.

Juleka nodded. "Yes I did but I'm feeling better now. Thanks for coming to check on me though."

"No problem." Adrien glanced inside the house. "Where's Philip anyway?"

"Oh he already went to work. He loves to go early for some reason." Juleka replied.

"Oh well if you plan to go to work why don't I wait until you get dress and I can drive you to the company." Adrien offered.

Juleka shook her head no. "That's so sweet of you to offer Plagg but I can't accept it. I can't make you wait for me and drive me. That's not your obligation."

Adrien nodded. "You're right it's not my obligation but I want to, as your friend."

Juleka hesitated for a moment before slowly nodding and letting Adrien in the house and to the living room. "Wait here for me until I get ready. I'll be right down."

Adrien nodded as Juleka walked up the stairs. Adrien waited until Juleka was out of sight before rushing to the study.

He quietly walked in and closed the door behind him. "The safe has to be here somewhere I just know it." Adrien walked over to the desk and started searching around moving things around but putting them back when he was done so it wouldn't be obvious someone was searching around. Adrien saw a picture frame of Philip and Juleka on their wedding day on the desk and Adrien picked it up. "Someday everyone will know that you are a fake Philip. I'm going to make sure of that." Adrien put the picture back down then he noticed a picture frame on the wall next to the desk. "Hm I wonder…" Adrien walked over to it and noticed that there was something off about how the frame was on the wall. Adrien moved it to the right and the frame opened like a door and in front of Adrien was the safe of the Gain family with a lock. "I found it." Adrien almost jumped in joy of his excitement. "Now I just need to find a way to open it."

At Couffaine Group Marinette walked into Philip's office and handed him some documentation. "Hey Philip, I need you to read this and see if everything is accurate. It's all the costs we are spending and have to spend for the project."

Philip nodded while taking the documentation. "Sure thing. Yesterday was fun don't you think? Being able to spend time with the group outside from work. We haven't been able to do that since the scandal with Adrien."

"Yea it was fun. Though with moments like those I wish Adrien was here to enjoy it too with all of us." Marinette replied.

"Though what I don't understand is why you invited Plagg too if he's not part of our friend group." Philip stated.

"Well he offered to drive me home and I felt like it was the right thing to do. Plus with everything that he has done for us outside of his job obligations I feel like he is part of the friend group." Marinette replied. "And after last night I think that everyone would agree."

Phillip tried to hide his irritation and smiled at her. "I agree with you. Though you know if you ever need a ride home I can always give you a ride."

"That's nice of you to offer but I didn't need a ride Plagg just offered and I couldn't say no." At that moment Lila walked into the office. "Well I should go back to work."

Marinette left the office and Lila closed the door behind Marinette before storming over to Philip's desk and slamming her hands on it. "Mind explaining to me what Marinette the wannabe was doing in your office!?"

The elevator doors to the second floor opened and Chloe walked out holding a folder. She headed to the secretaries. "Hello ladies."

"Chloe, what a pleasure to see you again. What brings you here?" Mylene asked with a smile.

"Plagg forgot some paperwork in his room and he called me to bring them." Chloe replied, returning the smile.

Alix nodded. "I'll let him know that you're here." Alix headed to the head vice president office.

"I'm glad to see you Chloe I was actually thinking about calling you to make a hair appointment with you." Rose said with a bright smile. "This weekend is my wedding anniversary with my husband Max and I will like to do my hair beforehand. I hope that won't be a problem."

Chloe shook her head no as she slowly put the folder on top of Rose's desk. "Of course not, I have plenty of spots open before then." Chloe took out her planner from her purse and opened it before looking though it. "Does tomorrow at 6:30 work for you?"

Rose nodded. "That's after work that is perfect."

"Can I make an appointment too? I need a trim." Mylene stated as Chloe was marking Rose's appointment on her planner.

Chloe nodded. "Of course."

At that moment Luka and Kagami walked over to them. "Mylene, where's Alix?"

"Oh Chloe came to bring some paperwork that Plagg left at home and Alix went to let him know." Mylene replied

Luka nodded. "When she comes back let her know I need the latest reports of our projects."

"Of course." Mylene replied.

"What were you girls up to?" Kagami asked curiously.

"Oh while waiting for Plagg to come we were setting hair appointments with Chloe." Rose replied.

Kagami looked at Chloe. "I thought you had a rental home."

"The rental home is my husband and I second way to earn money but we do have actual jobs. I'm a hairstylist while he's a painter." Chloe stated.

"Really? That's amazing, well do you think that you can make a hair appointment for me too?" Kagami asked.

Chloe nodded. "Of course."

Luka chuckles softly at the interaction before heading back to his office.

Philip stood up from his chair. "First of all, don't yell at me ever again. Second of all we were just talking about work. Why are you so mad anyway? You know that I'm not interested in her. I sometimes just help her with her son."

Lila laughed. "Since when do you care about that brat? You hate children."

"Well lately I have been thinking about the idea of having a child." Philip said with a fake frown. "Since the goth and I couldn't have children I feel empty and lonely."

Lila looked at him surprised. "Are you being serious Philip? You're thinking about being a parent?"

Philip nodded. "It's just that I imagine a little Philip running around but God won't give me that blessing. What punishment don't you think?"

Lila smirked. "Don't worry once the goth dies and we get married, then maybe I'll think about getting pregnant, but only one child."

Philip smiled. "And that's why I got closer to Marinette because of her son but not because I like her."

"Alright." Lila flipped her hair before leaving the office.

"Is everything going well with Miraculous Ladybug?" Alya asked Marinette while sitting across from her at her desk.

"Great, we should be ready to start the second phase soon." Marinette replied while turning off her computer and turning her chair so she could face Alya.

"So have you been able to find any evidence of Adrien's innocence?" Alya asked.

Marinette sighs. "No, I don't even know where to start. Though I was thinking about asking Philip for the financial reports of that money being stolen. Maybe I can track down where the money was transferred to and that should lead me to a good start don't you think?"

Alya nodded. "Yea that's a great idea and once you figure that out I should be able to use my detective skills to figure the rest out."

Marinette smiled. "It's settled then I'll ask Philip for the reports."

Soon after Marinette walked back into Philip's office. "Hey Philip, were you able to review the documentation?"

Philip nodded, giving the documentation to Marinette. "Yes and everything is accurate."

Marinette held it in her hands. "Great, I was also wondering if you could give me the financial reports of the money that was stolen."

Philip looked at her surprised. "What for?"

"I want to check how much CG has left to plan how much will be used for Miraculous Ladybug." Marinette lied because she didn't want for any reason the one who framed Adrien to know what she was doing not knowing that it was Philip.

Philip nodded. "I see well I don't have them with me at the office. I left them at home so I'll bring them tomorrow and give them to you."

"Great thank you." Marinette replied with a smile.

"Phillip, let's go out tonight." Juleka told Philip later that night when they were back home. "How about we go to a restaurant of your choice."

"Not today honey I'm way too tired." Philip faked a yawn while sitting on the bed. "I just want to lay down and go to sleep. Though why don't you hang out with any of the rest of our friend group?"

Juleka thought about it for a while before nodding with a smile. "Good idea, I haven't hang out with them in a while. Maybe I'll hang out with Marinette at her place."

Adrien was laying on his bed when his phone rang and he saw that it was Juleka so he answered. "Hey Juleka what's up?"

"Hay Plagg, I'm going to hang out with Marinette and she offered to also invite you. Though I was also wondering if you could give me a ride since Philip already went to sleep." Juleka stated.

"I would love to hang out with you two and sure I'll give you a ride it will be my pleasure." Adrien replied with a bright smile because he'll be able to hang out with Marinette. Plus Juleka who became more of a sister to him the last few days.

Once Juleka was gone Philip who was pretending to be asleep got up from the bed and hurried to his safe. He opened it and took out the reports before going to the back yard, grabbed a bucket before adding a bit of gasoline. He threw the reports before lighting a lighter and drew it while watching the papers burn. "Sorry Marinette but I can't risk you suspecting anything."

Marinette was checking Hugo's homework with him in the living room. "Nice work sweetheart you got everything right."

Hugo smiled proudly at himself. "Thanks mommy."

Marinette closed the notebook. "Now pack everything before brushing your teeth for bed."

Hugo nodded as he started putting all of his school supplies back in his backpack. He was about to walk upstairs when Juleka and Adrien walked in. "Aunt Juleka! Plagg!" He ran and hugged Juleka then hugged Adrien.

"Hey there Hugo." Juleka said, returning the hug.

Adrien also hugged him back. "Hey there buddy."

"What are you doing here?" Hugo asked curiously.

"We came to hang out with your mommy." Adrien replied with a smile.

"Can I join too!?" Hugo asked excitedly.

"No sweetie you have to get to bed, you have school tomorrow." Marinette stated picking him up in her arms. "However, you get to join us next time. Now go brush your teeth."

"Okay mommy!" Hugo ran up the stairs once Marinette put him back down.

Marinette smiled at Juleka and Adrien. "I'm glad that you two could make it. It gets lonely in this big house sometimes."

"It was our pleasure right Juleka?" Adrien asked with a smile.

Juleka nodded. "Right."

"Now let's have fun." Adrien said as all three sat down at the living room.

Once Juleka arrived back home she went to the master bedroom to see Philip laying on the bed but the lights were still on. "Awe poor Philip fell asleep with the lights on."

What Juleka didn't know was that Philip arrived seconds before her from Lila's house. That's why the lights were on. When Juleka was going to turn off the lights Philip pretended to wake up. "How did it go, dear? Did you get bored?"

"No, actually I had a lot of fun." Juleka replied. "I haven't had that much fun in a while."

"That's great dear." Philip replied.

Juleka hesitates a while before saying something that has been on her mind for a while. "Philip I know that we said we wouldn't talk about this again but I think that we should reconsider our marriage."

Philip quickly sat up. "Why?"

Juleka sighs. "Because we aren't the same couple that we once were. The romanticism ended in our relationship."

"Did you meet someone else?" Philip asked almost sternly.

Juleka looked at him shocked that he even thought of that. "Of course not Philip, that's ridiculous."

"Then why do we need to separate or get divorced if we are a happy couple?" Philip asked faking to be upset. Well, he was upset but for his plan close to failing not because he actually cared about Juleka.

Juleka sighs. "We don't go out anymore. You stay locked in your office for hours and we don't spend time for ourselves anymore."

"I love you Juleka that never stopped." Juleka slowly nodded.

The next morning Adrien walked into Marinette's office with two cups of coffee and he handed one to her. "Here's your coffee Marinette."

Marinette took it with a smile. "Thank you Plagg."

"Of course." Adrien put his coffee on the table. "I'll be right back. I'll ask the secretary for the dally report for Miraculous Ladybug." Marinette nodded before Adrien left the office and headed to the secretaries. "Ladies may I have the dally reports of your department for Miraculous Ladybug?"

They all nodded before handing the reports to him. "By the way were you able to contact Roland Rople?" Alix asked.

Adrien nodded as he took the reports. "Yes, however he doesn't work at the agency anymore so I contacted the new person who is in charge. Thanks for helping me contact him though."

"It was our pleasure!" Rose said brightly as the other two nodded.

"I don't know what to do with the goth anymore as much as I try, she doesn't die." Philip told Lila frustrated as he sat on his chair.

"Just stuff her with chocolate." Lila said with a laugh. "If she has diabetes and high blood pressure then she'll burst sooner or later."

"Yes but when? Plus she has been taking care of herself lately." Philip replied. "She keeps eating fruits and vegetables. Not to mention that she is exercising. I thought it would be just a phase but no she's determined."

"Well at this point the next person to be a widow is Alya." Lila said sarcastically.

Philip glares at her. "Thanks for the support."

"It's true. I will need to buy my dress not the wedding dress but my dress for your funeral." Lila added laughing harder.

Later Lila went to Juleka's office with two plates with cake slices. "It was the birthday of an employee and I brought you a slice of cake."

Juleka smiled softly. "Thanks Lila but I shouldn't eat it. I'm on a diet and I plan to keep it."

"Nothing bad will happen to you with just one bite." Lila stated putting the plate in front of Juleka.

Juleka gently pushed the plate away. "Thanks but no thanks."

At that moment Philip walked into the office. "Honey - oh hello Lila."

Lila smiled. "Hi Philip."

"Anyway Juleka, I need to go to a meeting right now." Philip told Juleka.

Juleka nodded. "Alright I'll see you at the house."

Philip nodded before he looked at Lila. "Goodbye Lila."

"Bye Philip." Once Philip left the office Lila looked at Juleka. "Are you being naive or do you actually trust Philip blindly?"

"Lila trust is the base of any solid relationship." Juleka replied. "That's why Philip and I have been together for so many years."

Lila nodded. "Got it."

"Not trusting Philip will be like me not trusting myself." Juleka added. "Luckily for me I trust myself more than ever."

"Adrien, where are you going so late?" Chloe asked Adrien that night as Adrien was about to leave the rental home as Plagg Noir.

Adrien looked at her. "I'm going to go see Marinette and Hugo. At this point Marinette should be back home and to be honest I'm dying to spend time with them."

Chloe gave him a soft smile. "Awe you're going to surprise them, that's so sweet. I bet she'll be happy to see you."

Adrien returned the smile. "Thanks."

"Maybe you should call her in case she's not home or has plans." Nathaniel stated while walking over to them.

"You're right Nathaniel, I should call her first. She might have something else planned for tonight." Adrien called Marinette. "Hi Marinette, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing good, Plagg, how about you?" Marinette asked back.

"I'm doing good too. I was thinking about visiting you and Hugo." Adrien stated. "I hope that's okay."

"I'm sorry but I'm actually having dinner with my parents maybe another day. I hope that's okay." Marinette replied.

Adrien nodded. "Of course. See you at the office tomorrow" Adrien hangs up. "Well I guess that I have to surprise her another day." Chloe laughed softly.

Emilie was in the living room reading a book as Gabriel was sitting next to her while working. Emilie suddenly closed her book as a tear fell down her cheek. "I really miss him."

Gabriel immediately stopped working and looked at her sadly. "I miss Adrien too Emilie but we need to accept that he's dead and never coming back."

Emilie nodded as another tear fell down. "I know but… deep in my heart I feel like he's not dead and that he'll come back to us sooner than we think… I know that it's ridiculous and most likely just me wanting to deny his death but I still feel that." Gabriel sighs and hugs her tightly.

The next morning in the company, Philip was working with Luka and Kagami at their office. "Oh before I forget Marinette informed me that she won't be able to come today. It seems that Hugo woke up with a stomach bug."

"Aww poor thing I hope that he gets better soon." Kagami stated.

Luka nodded. "Likewise, let her know that she can miss as many days as necessary." Philip nodded.

"You know Luka and I have been thinking about having children soon." Kagami suddenly stated. "We have been trying for a while."

Luka smiled. "It will be nice to have children and an heir to the company."

Philip held a fake smile while holding back his anger.

"Plagg, how's everything going over there?" Marinette asked Adrien over the phone.

"Everything is fine, don't worry I'm taking care of everything." Adrien replied while working on Marinette's computer. "Just worry about Hugo's health getting better."

Marinette sighs. "It's just that we had that trip to Lucky Charm beach today. We have to reschedule but I wish we didn't have to."

"Don't worry I'll figure it out I'm your assistant after all." Adrien replied with a small laugh. "So how's Hugo doing?"

"He's the same, at least he didn't get worse." Marinette stated. "He either ate something bad last night or ate too much sweets without me knowing. It could just be a stomach bug too."

"Well everyone here wishes for him to get better soon." Adrien replied.

Marinette smiled. "Well, tell everyone thanks for me."

"Of course." Adrien replied.

Juleka was at the office drinking a protein shake when Lila walked in. "Good morning Juleka, how has your morning been?"

"Great, my sugar level and my blood pressure are staying stable." Juleka said happily. "That means that my diet and exercise, not including me staying calm, is working."

Lila faked a smile. "That's great."

"Yea now I'm more motivated to stay doing the diet exercise and finding ways to not stress out." Juleka added as her smile never faded.

"Well now that you mention it I do see you with a glow like never before." Lila lied through her teeth while sitting across from her.

"Thanks anyway I was seeing in the schedule that Marinette had a trip to Lucky Charm beach today." Juleka stated. "So the second phase could start."

"I thought Marinette couldn't come today because her br-boy got sick." Lila replied.

Juleka nodded. "I know that's why we need a plan B. I was thinking of calling Plagg to see what he thinks."

While Juleka was calling Plagg Lila rolled her eyes. "I bet he'll take the opportunity to sign up to go and enjoy the beach."

"Plagg." Juleka said over the phone. "Since Marinette can't go to the planned trip to Lucky Charm beach today, what do you think we should do."

Philip was in his office looking at a picture of Marinette when he heard the door opening so he quickly hid it. Juleka walked in holding a folder and sat across from him. "I was looking for you all over the company dear."

Philip faked a smile. "I was here the whole time so what can I do for you?"

Juleka showed him the folder. "Well I was looking at the schedule for Miraculous Ladybug and I noticed that there's a planned trip to Lucky Charm beach to talk to Mathew and the people there but with Marinette unable to work because Hugo got sick there's no one to go."

Philip nodded. "You're right I'll have to reschedule it. I'll call them right now."

"Actually Plagg gave me a better idea. Why don't we go in her place?" Juleka suggested. "We can explain to them why Marinette couldn't attend and it makes sense that one of the owners and the other vice president of CG went in her place."

"That would be a good plan if I knew ahead of time but right now I have a lot of meetings scheduled that I can't cancel or reschedule." Philip lied.

"Oh that's a shame I wanted to go." Juleka said disappointed.

"Well why don't you go with Plagg?" Philip suggested wanting to kill two birds with one stone. "It would make sense that one of the owners went with the assistant of Marinette."

"True but it's not the same going with a friend than going with my husband." Juleka replied.

"Well I think that it's a great idea." Philip replied with a fake smile.

Juleka slowly nodded before standing up and went by his side to hug him. "I'll see you tomorrow then."

Philip tried so hard to not push her away. "Maybe but I have a lot of meetings tomorrow."

Juleka broke the hug. "Maybe I shouldn't go then."

Philip sighs. "I don't understand you Juleka. First you say that you want to work hard in the company but when the opportunity comes you don't want to go. You wanted to show how professional you are. This is your chance."

Juleka nodded. "Alright I'll ask Plagg if he wants to accompany me to Lucky Charm beach."

Philip smiled. "Now that's the Juleka I know."

"Since Philip has a lot of things to do he suggested that we go to Lucky Charm beach." Juleka told Adrien at Marinette's office.

Adrien raised an eyebrow having a bad feeling about Philip's intentions. "Oh really? Well I would love to go Juleka, but I can't leave the office if Marinette isn't here."

Juleka sighs. "I don't want to go alone, Plagg. Plus I'm sure nothing bad will happen to the office if you miss one day."

At that moment Lila walked in with an irritated mood and held a file. "I have this for Marinette, it's important that she looks at it." She dropped the file on top of the desk.

"Well didn't you come at a fortunate time Lila." Adrien said with a smile.

Lila raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"You're going to Lucky Charm beach." Adrien replied.

Lila looked at him surprised. "Me? For what?"

"Why do you want Lila to go to Lucky Charm beach?" Juleka asked, confused.

"As the director of marketing she needs to meet the people there." Adrien responded. "She's perfect to accompany you on your trip."

Lila faked a smile. "Juleka and me?"

Adrien nodded. "Yes I see no one else in this office. You'll meet the people there while Juleka, as one of the owners of CG will be in charge of the trip."

Juleka smiled. "I would be okay with that."

Lila kept her fake smile. "I'm not sure it seems too rushed for me. Plus I would have to let Philip know first. He might be mad if I leave without telling him first."

"Don't worry about that he might be your boss but I own the company." Juleka replied. "So cmon the beach is waiting for us."

Philip was waiting for the elevator doors to open when Adrien walked up to him. "Are you waiting for the elevator too?"

Philip nodded. "Yes."

"It's a shame that Marinette couldn't come today but hopefully Hugo gets better soon." Adrien stated wanting to see how Philip would respond.

"Everyone in here wants him to get better." Philip replied. "Juleka and I always want to help her and Hugo especially after Adrien died."

"Yea I noticed that you're kind hearted just like Juleka." Adrien said almost sarcastically.

"By the way, what time are you two going to Lucky Charm beach?" Philip asked.

Adrien held back a smirk. "In a little bit obviously if there's no last minute emergency."

Philip crossed his arms. "Well before you go I want you to hand me the global report of the project. I want to show it to the bank tomorrow."

"Why are you telling me that at the last minute?" Adrien asked, knowing that he always did that.

"None of your business, you're just an assistant doing your job." The elevator doors opened and Philip walked in. "Are you coming?"

"Nope not anymore." The elevator doors closed and Adrien rolled his eyes before going back to his office.

"I can't stop thinking about the trip to Lucky Charm beach." Marinette said to Philip while handing a tea cup to him.

Philip took it with a smile; he was going to take advantage of Juleka's absence to win over Marinette. "Don't worry about it. Juleka and Plagg went to your place so it wasn't canceled and everything is still on track."

Marinette looked at him confused. "Plagg went? That's odd that he didn't mention anything to me."

"Odd… Juleka is the odd one." Philip said, faking sadness.

"What do you mean? What's wrong with Juleka?" Marinette asked, concern.

Philip sighs. "I don't know… she's not the same as before… I even been considering the idea that she doesn't love me anymore."

Marinette held back a laugh. "Are we talking about the same Juleka? She loves you with all of her heart."

"The trip is a good example. She volunteered to go in your place when she found out you couldn't go. The strange part is that she didn't even ask me to go with her when I could have gone with her."

"Maybe she thought you had a lot of work to do." Marinette replied.

"I'm sorry Marinette but I know my wife… she's giving me signs that she doesn't love me anymore." Philip stated slowly getting closer to Marinette.

"Well I know Juleka longer than you Phillip and I can assure you that she loves you." Marinette replied clueless to his advantages.

Philip was irritated that his plan wasn't working but he wasn't going to stop trying.

Later during lunchtime Adrien went to Marinette and Hugo mansion with a suitcase while he was on the phone with Nathaniel. "I'm 100% sure that Philip is up to something. That's why I made this plan to make sure he doesn't try to make any advances on her."

"Do you think that's why he sent you with Juleka to Lucky Charm beach?" Nathaniel asked.

"Exactly, he's going to take advantage of Juleka's absence to get closer to Marinette." Adrien stated.

"Are you sure that you're not just jumping to conclusions?" Nathaniel asked.

"I know Philip and since I have been Plagg I have noticed the interest he has in my wife." Adrien said bitterly. "Anyway I'm at Marinette's house. I'll talk to you later."

Adrien hung up and knocked on the front door. Marinette opened the door and was surprised to see him there. "Plagg, what are you doing here?"

Adrien saw Philip walking over to the door from behind Marinette. "I'm sorry to bother you Marinette but the room I was staying at in my cousin's rental house got flooded. Now I have nowhere to stay." Marinette looked at him shocked.

"Look Philip this is the 10th voicemail I'm leaving you." Lila angrily said over the phone while packing. "As you might know the goth and I are going to Lucky Charm beach so if you don't want me to spill everything then you better call me back. Unless you want me to tell the sick one who your mistress is."

"Of course you can stay here Plagg." Marinette told Adrien while handing him a cup of tea.

Adrien took the cup of tea with a smile. "Thank you but I hope that it won't be too much trouble."

Marinette sat next to Adrien. "Of course not, this house is way too big for just two people."

"Plagg, weren't you supposed to go with Juleka to Lucky Charm beach?" Philip asked with cross arms, not happy that Marinette let Adrien stay.

"No I couldn't go so Lila went with her." Adrien replied.

Philip looked at him in shock. "Lila and Juleka went on that trip together?"

"Yes, the perfect pair if you ask me. One of the owners of CG and the director of marketing." Adrien said with a smile.

Juleka and Lila arrived at the hotel of Lucky Charm beach and the receptionist smiled at them. "Good afternoon."

Juleka smiled back. "Good afternoon."

A man walked over to them. "You must be coming in the name of Marinette Agreste. We were informed that you were coming today."

Juleka nodded. "That's right."

"I'm Wayzz at your services. Mathew Roperts asked me to make you feel comfortable until your meeting with him tomorrow." Wayzz replied before grabbing their suitcases.

"Thank you so much I'm Juleka Gain, minority co-owner of Couffaine Group and this is Lila Rossi director of marketing." Juleka gestured to both of them.

"It's a pleasure to have you here. We were expecting Marinette but we heard that Hugo got sick and couldn't make it." Wayzz stated.

Juleka nodded. "Yes that's right."

"No worries whoever comes in her name is always welcome here." Wayzz said with a smile. "A special dinner is being made for you."

"As long as it's not insects or anything vague." Lila replied.

Wayzz laughed. "Nothing like that, it's all sea food."

"Do your rooms have TV and wifi?" Lila asked concern.

"No, we have nothing like that here." Wayzz replied.

"Lila, don't forget that we are in Lucky Charm beach, not in a 5 star hotel in Hawaii." Juleka said playfully.

"I'm used to high class treatment Juleka, not low class." Lila whispers to Juleka.

"Don't say that they might hear you and this treatment is wonderful." Juleka whispers back.

"Well let me show you to your rooms." Wayzz shows them the way to their rooms.

"How long are you staying with us Plagg?" Hugo asked Adrien as Adrien was putting him to bed.

"I'm not sure how long buddy. It all depends on when my room isn't flooded anymore." Adrien replied with a smile. "Why do you ask want me gone already?"

"No, I'm glad you're here! I get someone else to play with." Hugo says happily.

Adrien chuckles. "I'll be happy to be your playmate buddy now time for you to go to sleep before your momma gets mad at both of us."

Hugo nodded before going to sleep. Once Hugo was asleep Adrien walked downstairs to see Marinette in the living room. "Did Hugo go to sleep yet?"

Adrien nodded. "Yes."

"Great, we should probably go to sleep too. It's very late." Marinette stated.

"Good idea I'll just set my pillow and blanket on the couch." Adrien replied.

Marinette laughed softly. "You don't need to do that, Plagg I already set up a guest room for you. You'll be more comfortable that way too."

Adrien smiled. "That's so nice of you thank you."

"Of course that's what friends are for, I'll show you the way." Marinette led Adrien up the stairs to the guest bedroom that was next to the master bedroom. "Here it is. If you need anything don't hesitate to call me. I'll be in the master bedroom next door."

Adrien nodded. "Alright."

"Well, have a good night Plagg." Marinette said before heading into her room.

"Yea you too Marinette." Adrien replied before walking in the guest room.

"Well at least this wasteland has something good about it, the food." Lila told Juleka as they were having dinner together. Lila was eating shrimp while Juleka was eating a salad. "I love seafood."

Juleka nodded. "Me too but I'm not allowed to eat it."

Lila pushed her plate closer to Juleka. "Here try some I'm sure one night won't hurt you."

Juleka shook her head no while taking a bite of her salad. "I would rather not risk it."

"You don't want the people here to think that you are ungrateful and rude by rejecting their food do you?" Lila asked.

"I'm sure they'll understand if I tell them it's because of my health." Juleka replied.

Lila shrugged "You never know Juleka, some people get offended no matter what. I wouldn't risk offending them, especially since we want to film here."

"The food does look delicious but I shouldn't risk my life just to please people." Juleka replied.

Wayzz walked up to them. "Is everything alright here?"

Lila nodded. "Yes, the food here is amazing."

"Yes I agree." Juleka added.

Wayzz smiled. "I'm glad that it's to your liking. I'll be back with your desserts."

"Answer already Lila." Philip hissed as he waited for Lila to answer her phone.

At her room in the hotel Lila rolled her eyes seeing who was calling her. "What?" She answered.

"About time you answered." Philip said sarcastically. "I called you multiple times and left a lot of voicemails."

"Doesn't it feel terrible? Now you know how I felt earlier." Lila said harshly.

Philip rolled his eyes. "Why do you always hold a grudge? Why can't we ever be on good terms? How is Lucky Charm beach?"

"The place is a wasteland. The insects already ate me alive and I can't stand the goth." Lila replied sternly. "I don't know how you can deal with her. The only good thing about this place is the food."

"Don't be like that Lila, you'll be back tomorrow." Philip said teasingly.

"Oh, be quiet." Lila hangs up.

"Lila -" Phillip was irritated and worried that Lila might tell Juleka everything.

Adrien was in the guest bathroom looking at himself in the mirror in sadness. He wasn't wearing his Plagg Noir disguise. "I can't keep up with this lie anymore. You deserve to know everything Marinette because I can't anymore."

Adrien sneaked out of the bathroom and quietly opened the door to the master bedroom. Marinette was so fast asleep that she didn't notice him walking in. Adrien slowly got on the bed behind her before wrapping an arm around her waist. "Marinette my love."

"Plagg?" Marinette slowly woke up and when she saw him she quickly sat up in shock. "A-Adrien."

"Plagg doesn't exist." Adrien said softly. "I'm Plagg and I love you more than ever."

Marinette let out a sigh with a smile. "I was sure that you were alive." She put her left hand on his right cheek. "I was sure of it."

Adrien smiled. "I had to invent Plagg to be by your side. Do you think that you could ever forgive me?"

"Of course I do the only thing that matters is that you are here with Hugo and I. I always dreamt of having you in front of me again. I love you so much." Marinette hugged him happily.

Adrien woke up immediately with his breath heavy and his heart beating hard. Adrien looked around and saw himself in the guest room. "... It was only a dream…. Just a dream." Adrien laid back down and went back to sleep.

"Let me remind you that the people of Lucky Charm beach will give you our support because we know that Marinette Agreste is behind all of this." Mathew told Juleka and Lila during their breakfast meeting.

"That's right Marinette made the plan and we are just following it." Juleka stated with a smile.

Mathew stood up with a smile. "That's all we expect. Now I have to go but please enjoy the rest of your time here and enjoy the food."

Juleka nodded. "Thank you for everything."

"Of course it was my pleasure." Mathew replied before leaving them.

Marinette knocked on Adrien's door. "Plagg, it's time to get up." hearing no response Marinette opened the door to see the bed was made and there was no one in there.

She suddenly heard voices coming from the kitchen. Confused, she closed the door again and headed downstairs to see Hugo already eating and Adrien/Plagg setting two more plates on the table.

"Good morning mommy!" Hugo said happily. "Look, Plagg made pancakes!"

Marinette walked closer to the table with a smile. "Good morning and I can see that. You really are an early bird Plagg."

Adrien smiled. "Yea I usually wake up with the sun. Since you were still asleep I thought I would make breakfast. Think of it as a thank you for letting me stay here."

"You need to stop thanking me because it was my pleasure." Marinette replied.

"Well come eat before it gets cold." Adrien stated and Marinette nodded sitting next to Hugo.

After breakfast Marinette got ready for work before walking to the front door. "Hugo, are you ready to go to school?"

Hugo walked over to her wearing his uniform and holding his backpack. "Yes mommy."

"Don't forget your lunch, it's on the kitchen counter." Hugo nodded before running to the kitchen.

Adrien walked over to her. "Well I'm ready to go."

Marinette nodded. "Me too, we're just waiting for Hugo to come back with his lunch." Once Hugo came back they all left the house.

Adrien went to the company while Marinette took Hugo to school. To his surprise Chloe was waiting for him in the vice president office. "Chloe what are you doing here?"

"I came to visit you and just tell you once again that I don't think it was a good idea that you went to the mansion." Chloe replied. "You might get caught."

"Anything to prevent Philip from making a move on her." Adrien replied. "But don't worry. I'll be careful."

Later Adrien and Marinette were at the table of the office working. "Have Juleka and Lila returned from Lucky Charm beach yet?"

"No not yet but they should be back soon." Adrien replied.

Marinette nodded. "When they come back I'll set up a meeting to learn how it went with Mathew and the people."

Adrien stood up. "I'll check if they already arrived."

At that moment Philip walked into the office. "Marinette, can I talk for a moment with you?"

Marinette nodded. "Sure, sit down."

"Well I'm off, excuse me." Adrien left the office not really wanting to leave.

"I'm glad you came. I was just telling Plagg that I want to set up a meeting once Juleka comes back to know how it went in Lucky Charm beach." Marinette stated.

Philip nodded with a fake frown. "I'm sure that she'll bring great news for the company but in our personal life… I'm convinced more everyday that Juleka doesn't love me like before."

"Don't think like that Philip." Marinette replied. "I told you yesterday that Juleka loves you with all of her heart. Whatever makes you think the opposite must be a misunderstanding."

"I can't help it." Philip replied, having tears of fake sadness. "Her coldness and distance tells me everything. You have no idea how it feels to have the person you love be so indifferent to you."

"You're right I don't know how it feels but I still think that it's all a misunderstanding because it's obvious from miles away that Juleka loves you." Marinette replied. "I mean it wasn't so long ago that she was the one worried that you weren't in love with her anymore and even thought that you were cheating on her."

Philip sighs. "I wish that I was as sure as you. I wish that I could feel like the loved husband I once felt before." Marinette looked at him sadly.

Later Marinette walked over to Alya. "Hay Alya, I'm going to pick up Hugo from school. Want to come with me?"

Alya nodded. "Sure I'll pick up Kevin and Mayla too."

Marinette nodded before the two friends left the company.

Philip went home for lunch to find Juleka there so he faked a smile. "Juleka, you came back home."

Juleka hugged him with a smile. "Did you miss me as much as I missed you?"

Philip nodded. "Of course I did. The bed felt so empty without you here"

Juleka broke the hug. "I'm sorry. I'm back now though."

Lila walked over to them. "Nice to see you Philip."

"Lila, what a surprise I didn't expect to see you in this house so soon." Philip stated.

"We came in the same car since Lila left hers here." Juleka replied.

"So how did you two enjoy Lucky Charm beach isn't it beautiful?" Philip asked with sarcasm but only Lila noticed.

Juleka nodded. "It was breathtaking. I can't wait to go there again."
