Devil's Advocate
Chapter Nine
Sergeant Chambers had gone to Roxanne supervisor of the morning and afternoon shifts. She had checked with the personnel office in order to give Sergeant Chambers the telephone number to Pamela's sister Susan and ex-husband George divorced the past ten years.
He was able to be lucky with talking with Susan having to be living in Yonkers near the train station. Susan had gotten back from visiting the dentist on Riverdale road to have an annual check. She had moved into her apartment complex when she heard the living room phone to be going off.
She felt at odds seeing the name of the Westchester assisted living faculty as part of the caller ID. She had been wondering whether it had anything to do with her sister Pamela. Even though she hasn't talked with her for a few years.
Though her health condition had gone downhill the past few years. She moved to the black leather chair where the white phone was located.
She will pick up the phone to be speaking with Sergeant James Chambers of the Yonkers police station. He will be able to explain the situation to her. She began to cry on the chair for a moment. She advised the sergeant that she was able to give permission for the coroner to start the autopsy on her sister's body.
"Sergeant Chambers, I will need to go to the faculty to pack some of her personal belongings. Please let the management that I will be leaving to come here," she advised.
Turning slightly..." I will be sure to let them know. I am sorry for your loss Susan." he cried out hating these kinds of assignments.
"Thank you." she croaked out with her response hanging up the phone to make one more call to her husband Jake traveling for his job as a salesman for Men's big/tall clothing for 32 stores on the East coast.
