Victoria's POV
By the time I carried her up the stairs Bella was both a little bit tipsy and tired from the amazing party, although she had assured me many times that she was okay. "Are you sure you want to do this tonight love? We can wait until tomorrow if you want."
She shook her head at me. "No, I'm okay, just give me a couple of minutes to wind down before we take a shower. That should make me feel a little better." She said softly.
I smiled at her as I put her down on the bed. "We can do that. We have all the time in the world baby."
Bella smiled and rested her head against my shoulder. "That we do, at least after tonight we will, although I will admit I'm a little bit nervous, and that I'm not looking forward to the pain."
"I know love, I can feel your nerves through our bond, but unfortunately there is little I can do about the pain. Because while we can choose to not make a bite hurt, when venom is used it will always hurt. It's one of the properties of our venom that I unfortunately can't do anything about." I said honestly.
She smiled at that. "I know love. Mom told me all about it and it is not that pain that worries me. It's the pain I will make you feel because of the change. I don't want to be a source of pain for you."
"Even now you're still so selfless. I'll be fine love. These few days of pain will be well worth having you by my side forever. I knew that this was going to happen the moment I found you as my mate." I said with a soft smile.
"Still, I don't want to cause you pain, even though I know it's inevitable." She said softly.
I smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Inevitable yes, but I promise that I'll be fine love, so please for both my sake and that of our mother, don't hold back what you feel, because that might have some unexpected results."
She nodded at me. "I promise love, as long as you will let me make it up to you and Mom when I wake up again."
"Deal, I know you will spend a lot of time with mother when you wake up, although I hope that I get to take you on your first hunt. It's kind of a tradition with mated couples." I said with a smile.
Bella smiled and kissed me softly. "I will gladly go hunting with you baby, but before I fall asleep in your arms, shall we take a shower. I can't wait to wash that green off you, as hot as it may look on you."
"Why thank you love. You were a very sexy Harley too, but I honestly can't wait to wash this off. It's kind of itchy. Next year we should think of something even more spicy for us to wear, if mother will let us get away with that." I said with a smile as I scooped her up in my arms and walked us to the bathroom so we could take a shower together, which would serve two actual purposes. The first was obvious in getting clean together, and secondly it would serve as a way to get Bella ready for her change, it was easier to relax if the mind was relaxed too.
Bella smiled at me as I put her back down on her feet so we could undress each other, which was, and probably would always be one of my favorite non-sexual activities with my mate. "I'm sure with a bit of charm we can get away with something special next year." She said as she pulled off her jacket so we would be in somewhat equal clothing while I turned on the shower.
I just couldn't resist letting my hands roam over her sides as I pulled off her top while she did the same for me, both of us letting out a sigh of relief when our breasts were freed from their tight confines.
As soon as we were both naked we stepped under the spray, I pulled her into a passionate kiss. "I love you so much baby."
"I love you too Vicky, now and forever I will love you." She said softly.
I smiled and moaned softly as we took our time in washing each other's bodies, and while she took her time to make sure all of the green body-paint was gone while I took just as much time in massaging her scalp, since I knew the wig hadn't been the most comfortable.
She moaned with me as she leaned back against me. "Gods how I needed that. Remind me not to wear a wig again."
"As long as you remind me not to paint my entire body again. That stuff itches." I said with a smile.
She nodded and kissed me as we turned off the shower, taking just as much time drying each other. "Ready love?" I asked softly.
She nodded as we made our way back to the bed, and as she laid down I just couldn't help but smile. She looked beautiful with her hair splayed out on the pillow, stark naked and her breasts slightly heaving.
"Before you bite me, can I have one last kiss? I want to remember the feeling while I'm changing." She asked softly.
"Of course baby. I would never deny you that." I said before kissing her softly yet passionately.
She moaned into the kiss and tangled her hand in my hair. "Thank you love. I really needed that. I'm ready now."
I smiled at her. "Then I wish you a good night, I love you, and I will see you in a couple of days."
She just smiled at me as I bit into her neck, moaning loudly from the taste of her blood. It was as sweet as I always imagined it to be, and I really had to restrain myself to not drink it all, but I am not going to lie, it was tempting.
Thankfully the mating bond won out, as I hoped it would as I pulled back and sealed the wound with my venom coated tongue.
Bella only moaned softly from that and I just couldn't help but smile at her skewed survival instincts. "Sweet dreams, my love. I will be here when you wake."
Bella's POV
Time lost all meaning as Victoria's venom ravaged my system, but what I found weird was the fact that it didn't hurt, like at all. I had prepared myself for hellish constant pain, but all I felt was a constant buzz in my body, her voice whispering to me that it would be okay.
I also knew it wasn't her actual voice, although I could feel her presence next to me, which was another balm to my soul.
Weirdly enough I also didn't feel the need to scream, simply because the pain wasn't there. It was a bit uncomfortable and I was pretty sure I groaned a lot, but it wasn't as bad as Mom and Victoria had told me.
All I heard was my heart in my ears, its beats starting to slow until it gave a last sickeningly loud thump before it was quiet, almost too quiet until I heard a giggle from next to me. "You can open your eyes love. It's done." Victoria said softly.
I opened my eyes and smiled at her. "Even now I can't take my time in waking up. You're lucky I love you so much."
She grinned at me. "How do you feel love?"
"Amazing. That's the only word I can describe it with. How long was I out?" I asked with a smile.
"Only two days love, but that is hardly the most surprising thing. You didn't scream, not once." She said with a loving smile.
I smiled and pulled her into a kiss. "The pain wasn't there. Mild discomfort, sure, but no pain. I heard your voice whispering in my mind that everything would be okay. It really helped me relax."
"You're amazing baby, but I think our mother won't be denied much longer. I'll be waiting downstairs for you when you're ready." She said with a soft smile.
I smiled and nodded. "I figured, I can hear her pacing outside. I'll see you soon, my love."
Victoria smiled before kissing me softly and then making her way out of the room, and in the same motion Esme stepped in. "Bella! Sweetie, I'm so glad you're okay and that everything went well. I was so very worried about you when I didn't feel anything from you."
I smiled and flew into her arms. "I missed you Mom, even if it only were a couple of days."
She smiled at me and nuzzled her nose in my neck. "I missed you too sweetie. How did it go. Is it true that you didn't feel any pain?"
"There was some pain, but nothing close to the hellish pains everyone warned me about. It certainly wasn't enough to make me scream it all out. I also heard Victoria's voice in my mind telling me that it would all be okay and that it would be over soon. All in all it was nothing like you all prepared me for." I said with a soft smile.
"I had a feeling that would happen, there has been a lot of speculation over the centuries over what happens when one mate initiates the change. Information on it has been severely lacking, so you can expect some questions once you return from your first hunt. All that can wait though, I'm going to draw you a bath and properly bathe you. It's the least I can do for my newborn baby girl." She said with her ever present loving smile.
I smiled at her, pretty sure I would be blushing if I was still human. "Mom, don't start now. I've only just woken up again."
She smiled at me as she led me into the bathroom. "Then we will at least take a shower together. It is tradition, one your self proclaimed aunt will not let you deny."
I nodded at her, knowing full well it was pointless to argue against my mother. "Fine, it's not like I mind being coddled by you."
Esme smiled and pressed a kiss to my cheek before undressing. "That's sweet of you to say sweetie, and you know I can't really help but fuss over you. Call it my fatal flaw."
"I'd hardly call it fatal Mom. I love you just as much as I love Victoria and I know that what we share is very rare in our world. I knew that even before me being turned ever came up. You provide me with everything that I have missed in my life." I said with a soft smile.
She smiled and pulled me into her arms, and even though we were both naked, I just couldn't help but relax in her arms as I always did. "I guess Victoria was right. Shame is the first thing to go once you're turned." She said lovingly.
I nodded and smiled at her. "That's true, I'll admit that I was ready to take Vicky out the window and go hunt without even thinking of putting clothes on first."
Esme smiled at that as she pulled me under the spray with her. "That's just your brain on newborn hormones sweetheart. We've all been there. Just ask Alice what she did when she woke up. I think you might find it amusing."
"Probably, since Alice is an endless source of amusement with her bubbly nature, but may I ask something Mom. Isn't this weird for you, being naked with me?" I asked softly.
"Not at all sweetheart. This has nothing to do with shame and everything with the trust and the relationship we have built over the last months. I know you feel both through your gift, through our bond and in your heart that this could never threaten your relationship with Victoria." Esme said with a loving smile.
I nodded and smiled as she turned me around so she could wash my hair, and I just couldn't really help the soft moan I let out as her breasts touched my back.
"It's okay if you get a little bit excited sweetheart. It's completely normal. Vampires are very sexual creatures after all." She said with a soft smile.
I smiled at her. "I know we are, but while my sense of shame is gone, I still feel a bit weird being naked with my mother."
"I understand that Bella and I promise that this will be another passing phase. In a couple of weeks it will all feel completely normal. Plus this will also not be a regular thing."
"I know that Mom. I'm pretty sure Vicky would not appreciate having to share naked time with me. I think we can find another way to have cute moments together."
Esme smiled and nodded at me as she turned me around so she could wash my front. "Of course we will, that is a staple of our family that I will never give up, no matter how much your mate argues."
I just smiled at her as I let her wash me, which she did very thoroughly, going as far as to dry me off and dressing me.
Victoria's POV
When Bella and Esme came down a little while later I just couldn't help but smile at the her radiant smile when she saw me. "Welcome back love. How are you feeling now?"
"Still amazing, although I'm feeling the burn a bit. It's not as bad as you told me it would be though. Is that weird?" She said as she hugged me.
"It is a little bit, but you've broken every conventional belief so far, little one." Didyme said with a soft smile.
Bella smiled at her. "I'm sorry for not noticing you earlier, my Queen. I'm still getting used to having everything be at vampire speed."
Didyme merely smiled at her. "That's understandable Isabella. We'll have plenty of time to talk once Victoria has taken you on your first hunt. I just couldn't resist seeing you when you came down."
Bella nodded and smiled at her as I pulled her out of the backdoor. "For your first hunt we're going to do it a little bit different. Over the last two days a couple of frat boys thought it was a good idea to camp down on our grounds and screw up our beach area. Do you want to make them see how wrong they were in doing that?"
I grinned and nodded at her as we took off into the forest behind our home, until she stopped and pulled me into her arms, my back against her front. "Close your eyes and tell me what you smell love, beside myself of course."
"Besides you I smell something incredibly sweet. Is that what I smelled like to you?" She asked softly.
"No, you smelled even better than this. These guys smell bad compared to you." I said with a soft smile.
Bella smiled and leaned back to kiss me. "You're such a flatterer love. Shall we go and get something to eat?"
"Exactly my thoughts baby. We don't have to be subtle either. Just let your instincts take over." I said with a soft smile.
She nodded and inhaled deeply before taking off in the general direction of those idiots while I followed at a bit more of a demure pace. A first hunt was a milestone in a newborn's new life and I knew that it could be dangerous if I got too close while she fed, no matter how strong our bond may be.
Soon enough I found the clearing where the three were camping out, and to my surprise she was waiting for me in one of the trees, sitting there like a hawk watching its prey. "I'm surprised you haven't gone for the kill yet love. I've never seen a newborn with such control."
She just smiled at me. "I was hoping you could do some crowd control while I go in for the first, since I know you haven't fed in a while either. Maybe we can share the last one."
I smiled and nodded at her as she dove out of the tree and landed without a sound right behind one of the drunken idiots, biting into his neck without a second thought.
The other two just looked dumbfounded at what had happened for all about two seconds before I was behind them to bite into another neck while also keeping a firm grasp on the third one.
Soon enough I had drained the boy, seeing that Bella was sitting on one of the stumps they used as a chair, smiling sultrily at me. "I never imagined you would look so hot while you feed. Care to share the last one?"
I nodded and swallowed heavily as she sauntered up to me, and I had a feeling it would be a while before we got back to the house.
She smirked at me as she flashed me a wink before biting into one side of the guy's neck, leaving plenty of room for me to do the same, and since I was sure this wouldn't lead to me being thrown through a tree, I bit down again, seeking her hand blindly so I could link our fingers.
Bella noticed and took my hand, linking our fingers, and as soon as the guy was drained dry, she threw him to the side so she could kiss me. "Do you think they would notice if we stayed away for a little while longer. I need you right now."
"They won't. Your mother knows how newborns act with their mates. I would dare say she doesn't expect us home until late tonight." I said softly.
She smiled at that as she pushed me down to the ground. "Then I hope you are ready for me to be on top for once baby. I've been dreaming of topping you for months."
I smiled and pulled her into a kiss. "Do to me what you will love. You can't hurt me, our bond won't let that happen."
She smiled as she ripped off my shirt, quickly followed by my skirt. "Not even wearing underwear. You're so scandalous love."
"Since I knew this was going to happen, I figured I'd wear as few clothes as possible. You also know that your clothes also will not survive this. We can deal with the Pixie when we get back." I said with a smile.

Bella's POV

"Welcome back sister. We all really missed you." He said in his southern drawl.
"I missed you all too. Two days was too long." I said with a soft smile.
He smiled at me as Alice flung herself into my arms, hugging me tightly. "Welcome back Bella."
"Hey Ali. I can see you missed me too." I said with a slight giggle.
"Of course I did. We've gotten so used to having you around all the time that these two days apart has been weird to say the least." She said with a slight pout.
I smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek as she disentangled herself from me to step back in Jasper's arms, after which I was immediately crushed in a hug from Rosalie, who went as far as to spin me around. "You know Rose, I would have expected that from your husband, but not from you."
The blonde smiled at me. "With how much I've missed you over the past few days, I think I'm allowed a bit of exuberance with my baby sister."
I smiled at her. "That you are, and I've missed you too Rosalie. I was actually surprised to find our door in one piece when I woke up, having thought you would've broken it down at some point to see if I was okay."
"Trust me I thought about it, especially when we didn't hear you scream after a few hours. I really thought something had gone wrong, until Alice told me that she still saw you in her visions." The blonde said softly.
I smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Like I would ever stop bothering you. You're stuck with me now Rosie."
She just smiled and set me back down, only to be swept into a bear hug by Emmett. "We're going to have so much fun together. Just think of the gaming sessions we're going to have."
I smiled at that. "Of course we will, although I think not for the first couple of months, you know with Mom and Vicky claiming me at most hours of the day."
He just grinned as he set me back down on my feet, and immediately I was face to face with Jane, who was clearly fighting the urge to hug me too.
Knowing what it would do for her image, I just hugged her instead. "I've missed you Jane. How have you been?"
"I've been doing well Isabella. It's good to finally see you as a vampire." She said softly.
I smiled at her. "It feels good to finally be a vampire. It's still a bit overwhelming but I have a sense that'll fade in the coming weeks."
She nodded and stepped back so Didyme could finally give me a hug too. "Immortality suits you Isabella."
"Thank you auntie." I said with a soft smile.
Didyme smiled at that. "I see your mother has told you the title I have given myself. I hope it's okay. I know we don't know each other that well."
"It's more than okay. I feel that you only want to provide another familial bond." I said with a soft smile.
Didyme smiled at me and gave me another hug before stepping back and I was pulled into Esme's arms. "As I said sweetie, everyone has missed you, even if it was only for two days."
"I noticed. Now I feel kind of bad that we did this so soon after everything settled down, even though I know it was inevitable." I said softly.
Esme just smiled and pressed a kiss to my cheek as she sat down with me in her lap, making it very clear that she was going to monopolize me for the rest of the day. "We all knew it was inevitable too sweetie, and we are all very glad that it was a relatively easy change. We will sit down to talk about it later. Now I want to know how your first hunt went, minus the ravaging, mind you."
Victoria smiled at her. "She did great mother. If I didn't know any better I would say she wasn't even a newborn. Her instincts are amazing and she didn't spill any excess blood."
Esme smiled at that. "And again you manage to shatter every expectation sweetie. I've never heard of a newborn with such great control."
I smiled at her as I cuddled into her. "Well, you all said at one point or another that I was good at that, so this isn't really a surprise. But honestly I just did what my instincts told me. Everything else just happened."
She just smiled at me and nuzzled my neck, nothing more needed to be said between us at the moment, while my siblings and aunt didn't seem to have such reservations, asking me endless questions about how the change had gone, and I had no qualms in telling them everything that I had felt and experienced.
