the birds chirpping outside the window of a pink colored bedroom of a cute little 13 year old pink hedgehog almost finished with drawing a picture for a certain blue hedgehog.
Amy rose: I really hope he gets here, that way i'll finally get the chance to meet him.
(amy's parents secretly Put a letter in the mail box and both quickly go back inside the house)
(mail man arrives to pick up the letter to sonic and makes his way down the road)
meanwhile elsewhere on mobeus
scratch and grounder were working on another trap for sonic
sonic defeats them
sonic: thanks little bro, that was a great job there.
Tails: so what do we do now, sonic?
Sonic: I say we grab a bite to eat someplace, im sure they'll have chilidogs somewhere.
Suddenly the mail truck arrives as it stops next to sonic and tails, the postman comes out of the truck and walks up to the two.
Mail man: excuse me, are you sonic the hedgehog?
Sonic: the one and only, what can I do for ya? Mail man: I have a fan letter and invitation for a 'mr. sonic the hedgehog' from a fan
sonic: a fan letter? And an invitation? For me? Let me have a look? (takes the letter and opens it up)
tails: whats it say sonic?
Sonic: its says "dear sonic the hedgehog, our little daughter is a really big fan of yours and as a big surprise for her, we would really appreciate it if you would attended to her birthday party tomorrow afternoon as our top guest of honor, the party will take place at 'never lake' where we'll all get to see little planet appear floating above it. It appears once a month every year. It would really make her the happiest girl ever if you come over.

p.s. we'll have chilidogs included for lunch.
Sonic: OH BOY, CHILIDOGS! I am so in!
Tails: but sonic, what if robotnik finds out about little planet, if the legends are true, won't he try to take control of it?
Sonic: don't sweat it tails, theres no way that robutnik is going to ruin little planet, cause even if he does have a plan, i'll be there to stop him (winks at tails) come on bro, we got a birthday date to attend? tails: what ever you say sonic?
Grounder: did someone say birthday, oh bo… (scratch covers grounders mouth to shut him up)
scratch: shush, we better tell robotnik about this little planet party whatever before sonic even notices us.
Meanwhile at dr. robotnik's fortress
robotnik paces in circles babbling while waiting for scratch and grounder to report back on capturing sonic.
Robotnik growls in irritating anger
dr. robotnik: ohh whats taking those two metal headed maniacs so long? If those halfwit-ed fools manage to fail again at capturing sonic, im going to...
(scratch and grounder suddenly entered the lab)
scratch and grounder: oh doctor robotnik?!
Robotnik gets spooked after two robots jumped out of nowhere.
dr. robotnik: alright, you two worthless hunks of metal, what is your excuse this time?
Scratch: didn't you hear the news?
Robotnik: news, which news is that?
Grounder: sonic is invited to a birthday party at never lake…
scratch: and something called little planet is going to be appearing tomorrow afternoon.
dr. robotnik: little planet, I been trying to track it for five years since I was in evil genius high school. Though I may not like birthday parties, but lets see if my egg-bot spy bot has spotted any activity in this so called never lake?
(screen turns on and shows people prepairing decorations for the arrival of little planet)
dr. robotnik: (gasp) its true, the citizens of never lake town are preparing a celebration for the arrival of little planet. Scratch, grounder, prepare my ship? its almost time to unleash my super fast secret invention.
Scratch: secret invention?
Grounder: what super fast secret invention, your insidiousness?
Scratch: yeah, we never knew that you had a super secret invention, boss?
dr. robotnik: of course you didn't! if I told you that I was building a super secret invention, it wouldn't be a secret.
Scratch and grounder: (both) i knew that!
Grounder: hey! I knew it first.
Scratch: no! I knew it first.
dr. robotnik: SILENCE! YOU SQUABBLING, METAL HEADS and get back to work now!?
Grounder and scratch: (both) yes dr. robotnik.
(Both scratch and grounder zoom out of the lab)
(robotnik looks at the screen and speaks to himself)
dr. robotnik: this might be my greatest opportunity ever, soon I'll be rid of that hedgehog and not only conquer mobeus, I'll even take over little planet too. (evil laughs)
meanwhile with sonic and tails running and flying to never lake town.
tails: how far do you think never lake is?
Sonic: beats me? I never been to never lake before, I sure hope that it is a (stops in his tracks)
(sonic and tails began to stare at the huge lake with greener fields and small pockets of towns and villages.)
sonic: wow! So this is never lake? it sure looks quite a peaceful view from up here.
Tails: sonic! Look. (points at the towns and villages below) that must be never lake town.
Sonic: lets go check it out!? (sonic zooms off past tails and heads down the road leading to never lake town)
tails: hey! sonic wait for me? (tails lifts himself into the air and flies towards lake town)
(sonic immediately zooms through the town, surpising many people in shock and smiles of joy.)
sonic stops again and looks at his suroundings as people where making preperations for the appearance of little planet. There were balloons, fair grounds and other kinds of neat stuff.
Sonic: wow this looks great, sure glad robotnik isn't around to ruin it.
Tails catches up with sonic as he tires out after flying.
Tails: (breaths heavily) whew, sonic, I haven't eaten anything yet and im already tired out from all that flying all this way here.
Sonic: aw come here little bro, we'll find a place to rest for the night, we got a big day ahead of ourselves and a party to attend. But first we gotta get to this mr. and mrs. rose's house.
Chimpmunk villager: mr and mrs rose, I know where they live, their house is down that road towards the hill side just outside of town. There you'll find a pink and yellow house with flowers.
Sonic: thanks for the tip bud, we'll be on our way?
Tails: sonic (still breathing heavily all tired out) wait… for me?
Chimpmunk villager: not from around here are you stranger?
Meanwhile with dr. robotnik in his hover craft with both scratch and grounder carrying a big box.
dr. robotnik: now careful you dimwits, this is very fragile and delicate, if I see one part out of place of my super fast secret invention, I'll make you into spare parts for it.
Scratch and grounder: (both) yes dr. robotnik sir.
(lowers the box to the ground)
scratch: wow! What kind of contraption is in this thing, your deviousness?
dr. robotnik: this contraption is going to be the very thing that will defeat sonic the hedgehog, for good. (presses button on his remote)
(box instantly opens up, revealing a robot version of sonic)
scratch and grounder: (both screams) its sonic! Grab him!
(they quickly tackle the robot but dr. robotnik activates the robot and the machine twirls around itself like a tornado and it instantly tosses both scratch and grounder of it and they both landed on the ground
dr. robotnik: you fools! Thats not sonic. Its one of my new and improved version of robot sonic, but without pilot control and very obedient to me. I call it metal sonic.
Scratch and grounder stare in amazement
scratch: wow impressive you maliciousness.
Grounder:But, um... how is this going to defeat sonic, boss?
dr. robotnik: the answer is simple, it has all of sonic's moves and abilities, thanks to all the setbacks I been through, I've manage to collect all data on sonic I needed to transfer into this machine. Not to mention that it won't be able to turn on me.
Scratch: so now that means we won't have to use a pilot to control this bot for this plan, your ungratefulness. we'll be rid of that hedgehog. (laughs) (stops laughing) NO PILOT! Your lordship remember the times you made robots like that breeze and jr, not to mention your washed up robot wife?
Dr. robotnik: I already took care of that problem, this sonic robot is waterproof and absolutly loyal, SO DON'T MENTION ANY OF THOSE TRAITORS IN MY PRESENCE.
Scratch and grounder: (sweat nervously) um yes your ingeniousness.
dr. robotnik: but to make sure that sonic doesn't get in the way of my plan, I want you to find this birthday girl and bring her to me? Wait for further instructions.
Scratch and grounder: (both salutes) yes dr. robotnik sir.
(scratch and grounder zoom off)
mean while sonic and tails arrive at the house where they would meet mr. and mrs rose.
(sonic knocks at the door)
(door opens as mrs. rose appears through it)
mrs. rose: oh my, you must be sonic the hedgehog.
Sonic: yep, we got your letter and came over as fast as we could, mind if we could come inside and rest for a while.
Mrs. rose: why certainly come in, we were really expecting you to arrive here not earlier than this time of day.
Sonic: no need to be worried, I always like to keep ahead of scheduled, so your letter said something about your daughter being a big fan of mine?
Mrs. rose: why yes you see, she was always talking about you with her friends, even at school and how you kept saving the day from that ugly dr. robotnik. She was even tried to send letters to you but barely got a reply. But she had always love to fortune tell and she kept telling us that she predicted that you and her were destined to meet at little planet tomorrow during the party. So we took the opportunity to write the letter to you.
Sonic: gee, now that's some fan I got, but now that you mentioned it I never really got a letter from anyone since I was traveling all over the place with my friend tails here.
Mrs. rose: I see, but I guess that postman was lucky to have found you and sent you our letter and invitation to her birthday, she'll be so thrilled and happy to see you.
Sonic: no problem mam, I'm sure this was no biggie. (Stomach growls) hehe sorry I guess i've never eaten in a while since I just got here?
Mrs. rose: how about some cookies? But im saving the rest for my daughters birthday.
Sonic: sure thing mrs. rose
tails: wait mam, you said that your daughter is a fortune teller? Is that really true?
Mrs. rose: well she is sorta like a fortune teller, she even started to learn about magic.
Sonic: nah i've seen lots of weird stuff about magic throughout my journeys. Lets just hope things don't get too weird around here.
(Everyone laughs)
meanwhile
we see little amy rose walking down the road that is leading to her house, but unknown to her she was being followed by scratch and grounder who are hiding behind a bush as they prepare for an ambush.
Scratch: so if dr. robotnik's egg bots are right, that must be the girl that was mentioned in that letter sonic had read.
Grounder: so how do we catch her again?
(Scratch slaps grounder in the head as grounders head starts to spin)
scratch: just follow my lead?
Its wasn't long until they immediately took the opportunity to sneak up way ahead of her and took their positions from both sides of the road as amy walks in between them. The two robots then jumped at her and quickly tied her up and tossed her in a sack.
Scratch and ground: (both) we got her! We got her!
Scratch: now all we have to do is bring her to robotnik, till we figure out what to do next.
Both scratch and grounder zoomed off with amy in the sack, only to end up leaving behind one of her favorite lollipops on the ground.
