7. Chapter 7

Upon the third day of the school festival.

Kira and his group continued their work at their café as they served customers who came but unlike the first day, the numbers are a bit smaller than before.

"seems that they had a hand into this…" Raymond spoke as he is taking away some empty used teacups on a tray.

"after what Kira did to that girl and her servant? Who can blame them?" Daniel replied while making some arrangements of sweets on several plates.

Olivia and Angelica heard what the two were talking as they can't help but frown towards Kira who is just making tea.

After the beating that Kira did to the Offrey Family's daughter and meeting with the Queen of Holfort, the young man is now seen as a dangerous subject by some of the Advance Class's girls who learned about what he did. Best to be said that they are scared of him.

Kira continues to make tea for the customers in the café as he pauses a bit when he hears a few beeps from his earpiece communicator that is receiving a call from Hachi.

"Kira, I have collected your requested report." Hachi spoke to Kira who glance to the side before he continues making tea that he is now pouring into cups. "as you have predicted, the girl named Carla Fou Wayne is under the Offrey household. I have scouted and found that she has made contact with the Earl of Offrey family's daughter before the incident."

"and about her request for my help?" Kira asks, the young man had asked the AI to collect intel on Carla after she came and requested his assistance for a certain matter.

"it is unknown if it is merely a ploy or not, but the fact remains that it may be a dangerous trap." Hachi replies. "do you still plan to assist her?"

"I don't think I have a choice." Kira replies as he placed the cup full of tea to a tray that he carried and gives to Raymond who went to give it to the waiting customers. "her request is a formal one and I cannot deny it now that I am an upper rank sixth baron." He tenses his gaze a bit when he remembers how Carla went to ask him for help. "she was underhanded by using Livia as a middleman and because of that I have to help whether I wish it or not."

"true, but to subjugate the Sky Pirates that have terrorized her lands.." Hachi spoke as Carla's request is to help her land that is being terrorized by Sky Pirates; a group of thieves who work together to steal noble's lands of their wealth and produce. "I had taken information that such a task is only for the Royal Palace to do so."

"perhaps, but I believe it to be something I am required to do after everything that has happened." Kira spoke as he goes and took a quick break by sitting near the window where Tori came and perched to his right shoulder. The young man gazes to the view outside and sees the many people going around the school festival. "the Sky Pirates have been a threat to this kingdom for almost 4 years and the Royal Palace have not done anything to subjugate them."

"then it is a matter to protect others from their terrorism?" Hachi asks. "even though those Sky Pirates are working under a noble household who plans to unleash danger to the very kingdom?"

"yes" Kira nods as he looks at Tori who jumped and perched to his outstretched finger. "just that."

After a few hours, the café is getting a bit lonely because there're not many customers coming around.

"I guess today's line is over?" Daniel spoke while taking away a tray of used dishes.

"the same goes for the next door's café." Raymond added in as he couldn't hear the screaming girls who are going gaga that usually comes around every hour over the past few days. "guess most of the guests are interested in other classes' stuffs."

"perhaps we should call it a day." Kira said as he dries some cups of tea with a dry towel. "there are no signs of anyone coming for our café today." He place the towel away and crosses his arms on his stomach. "I believe we all deserve a break now."

"are you sure?" Angelica asks. "we might have a customer before we even realize it."

"not to disappoint, but we haven't had anyone come in after the hour." Daniel stated while raising a hand up and wave it to the side. "I think by now, everyone is more focused on the other events of the festival."

"we got at least ¾ of our goal in the finance deadline." Raymond added in while adjusting his glasses. "We can still pull this through in the last two days after all."

"then that'll be it." Kira said. "let's call it a day and continue the café tomorrow." He turns and walks to a nearby cupboard and assorts some of the cleaned dishes inside. "you guys go on ahead and have fun in the festival, I'll stay behind and sort the last of the few things needed to be done."

"we'll help, Kira-san." Olivia said while holding up a stack of plates and goes to Kira. "there's a lot to do and.."

"I'll be fine." Kira replies while taking the stack of plates from Olivia and arranging them inside the cupboard. "you and Angie had plans to go and visit Clarice-senpai at the airbike race, right? Go and cheer for her and the others." he smiles a bit. "tell her that I know that her team will win later on in the quarter-finals."

"are you sure?" Olivia asks. "you won't be able to finish…"

"I'll be able to." Kira replies as he sets the last plate on its stack before closing the cupboard. "and besides…." He glance at Olivia before away. "I need some time alone."

"Kira-san.." Olivia whispers as she was about to reach a hand to him, but Angelica stops her. the Redgrave daughter frowns while shaking her head to her friend before she turns towards Kira.

"we'll tell Clarice to stop by if she gets the chance." Angelica told Kira who nods before he goes and rearrange a tea set nearby.

Angelica and the others left Kira in the room as they walked away.

"are you sure that this is the right thing to do?" Daniel asked Angelica. "I mean, Kira is…"

"he's someone who is always in conflict with many things on his mind." Angelica stated while frowning. "the best we can do now to help him is to let him sort out his own feelings for the moment." She glances at the others. "besides, doesn't he still have Tori with him?"

"I guess Tori can be regarded as an emotional support animal in a way." Raymond said while adjusting his glasses.

"but are we really sure that we want to leave Kira-san alone?" Olivia asks frowning. "after the duel and that time…"

"I wish we could help, but there is much to Kira that we don't know." Angelica replies as she thought on Kira during the time of the duel. She remembers how confident he looked and how angered he sounded when he tried to crush Jilk to death in his own Armor and when he beat the hell out of Julius. "very much we don't know."

Back with Kira, the young man finishes cleaning up the café by himself as he only swept the floor, dried the clean dishes, and sets the chairs and tables.

Kira went and sits down by a couch as he sighs while leaning against his seat.

"are you perhaps thinking of what you did to the Offrey Household's daughter?" Hachi spoke to Kira on his communicator while the young man looks at his right hand that he outstretched for Tori to come perching on it. "or perhaps…something else?"

"something else, I guess." Kira replies as he looks at Tori who hops on his right arm a few times before it flew and perched to his left shoulder. "I admit that being in school is nice and all, but after knowing the nature of all the advance classes' students…."

"you believe that our own world is much better, is that it?" Hachi asks and Kira just nods.

"There are lots of downs and there are lots of ups in this new life…" Kira whispers as he thought about everything that has happened on the day he arrived into the world. "from being saved by Balcus-san, having a peaceful time with his family, and now being a student in the academy on this very day…" he sighs once again. "I still wonder how I came to this world…"

"I have the same question as you do, Kira." Hachi replies.

Kira starts to think of his old world, his friends, his family, and his lover. He thought of them dearly as he wishes to return to them no matter what.

"it's funny…" Kira spoke as he chuckles a bit. "it's so damn funny…"

"what is?" Hachi asks while making a confused beeping noise.

"as much as I miss our world, I can't help but see some of my comrades on my new friends." Kira said as he started thinking of his comrades in his original world and compared them with the ones in the world he is in. "Daniel reminds me so much of Dearka, he has the man's confidence but some self-esteem issues when he fails to find the girl he wishes to be.." he thought of the two men and compared their similarity and differences. "and Raymond…I think he matches this Yzak Joule person that Athrun and Dearka always tell me about during the war.." he frowns a bit because Yzak is the Duel's Pilot and the one who destroyed a shuttle filled with people. "we were enemies, but we became comrades during the Jachin Due, I owe him one for saving Cagalli back then. Raymond is alike with him, minus the whole military commando thing." He sighs and looks up. "and I guess Clarice-senpai is alike with Miriallia."

"Miriallia Haw? The Communications Officer?" Hachi replies, knowing about Miriallia and the crew members of Archangel from the data registered in the ship's crew members. "Clarice reminds you of her? how? Their features are not so alike."

"being alike doesn't mean appearances, Hachi." Kira said as he chuckles a bit before he sighs with a small smile. "Miriallia is the type to be compassionate and kind to others, she and Clarice-senpai has that trait of being able to lead a group with good actions and…" he thought of the two and compared them in their appearances, and personality before to their personal life that made his smile turn a bit sad. "and I guess…they shared the same pain in more than one way."

"I see…" Hachi spoke, understanding what Kira is saying. "what of Angelica?"

"Angie, huh?" Kira whispers as he thought about the Duke Redgrave's daughter and instantly compared her to his twin sister that made him smile. "I guess she's a lot like Cagalli. Hot tempered, knowledgeable in traditions and court politics but Angie is more ladylike than her." he chuckles when he remembers how much Cagalli hates acting like the girl she is. "she always hates wearing dresses." He thought fondly of his twin and then thought of Angelica. "but for Angie…she's…" he quickly shakes his head when he remembers how beautiful the girl is when she wore the red dress for the social party at the end of the school's first term. "a-anyway that's her and Livia…"

"what of her?" Hachi asks

"Livia is…" Kira said as he thought of the girl and her personality. "I guess she's a lot like Lacus in more than one way." He sighs as he thought of her innocent aura that just radiates and made him feel a bit at peace. "she's like her and she's very much kind alike with Lacus. Or rather she is too kind." He begins to think of a war that may come to Holfort and Olivia is caught in it. "I don't think she is that too alike with Lacus.."

"how so?" Hachi replies and before Kira could reply, he hears some knockings by the door. "a customer?"

"possibly." Kira said as he gets up and answered the door while Tori flies away. "yes?"

Kira opens the door and behind it he finds two familiar girls.

"you two are…" Kira spoke out as he knows the girls as they are Milly Fia Barton and Jessica Fou Merquise. Two girls who are in the same class as he is. "Milly-san and Jessica-san."

"yahoo~!" Milly greeted as she is a girl of the same height as Olivia, she is a brunette who has her hair in a twintail fashion while Jessica is a black long haired girl. "sorry to bother you, Bartfort-kun"

"it's fine." Kira nods. "is there something that I can help you with?"

"actually, we want to come in to have a pleasant time at your café?" Jessica replied while holding up a flyer filled with the café information. "we wanted to come on the first day but we were busy with our stalls. We thought we could wait a while but after hearing the boys saying how good the cookies and tea in the place are. We just had to come one of the days in the festival."

"I see." Kira said before he smiles a bit sadly. "but I'm sorry to say that the café is closed right now. We decided to close early and everyone besides me went on a break."

"ehhh~! Oh come on~!" Milly whines.

"really sorry," Kira said apologetically. "perhaps if you come tomorrow…"

"we'd be busy with our stall by then!" Jessica said before she clasps her hands together in a prayer motion. "can't we have some little tea time in the place? We just came, you know?"

"I still…" Kira spoke before he looks a bit awkward because Jessica and Milly are giving him the ultimate weapon that any girl can use on a guy and that's pleading puppy eyes. He watches their eyes before he sighs in defeat. "please come in…."

Kira opens the door fully and bows politely and respectfully for Milly and Jessica who comes in while cheering quietly with their hands clapped together, the girls feeling successful getting into the café even though it is closed.

A minute later, Jessica and Milly sat by a table together as they were served with a plate of biscuits and two cups of warm tea. All are what is left of the café's reserves.

"please enjoy." Kira said as he bows to the two who nods before they take their cups of tea and took a sip.

"mmmhmm~! The boys weren't kidding when they said that the tea is so soothing…" Milly said with a very satisfied face.

"very soothing." Jessica added in with a pleased face, she takes a biscuit and took a bite. "and the biscuits taste just as good."

"I'm glad to see that the both of you are enjoying them." Kira said with a small smile.

Afterwards comes the chattering between Kira and the girls which is the norm because some of the café's previous customers would chat with Angelica and the others; whether it is about the café or their part of the classes' regime and stuff.

"so this is the little Tori we have been hearing about." Milly said as she and Jessica looks in fascination at Tori who is riding on Kira's right shoulder. The mechanical bird twists and turns its head several times before it hops around. "it is a really unique looking bird."

"yeah." Jessica nods in agreement as she reaches out a hand to Tori who looks at it before it flew and perched on the extended limb. "he's a very docile bird."

"he's more than a bird." Kira said as Tori flies and returns perching to his right shoulder. "he's my little friend."

"I guess so." Milly said with an agreeing smile.

"hey, how about later if you have time you should go and visit our stall." Jessica told Kira. "we're doing a crepes shop and our friend who makes them is really good at it."

"I'll keep that in mind." Kira nods before he goes and make more tea.

"you really got a hang on making this biscuits and tea, Bartfort-kun." Milly said as she takes a bite of a biscuit before sipping the tea, smiling from the good harmony between the two. "you must've had a lot of experience in making them, right?"

"in a way, yes." Kira replies as he pours hot water into the teapot filled with new tea leaves. "I made them for my tea ceremonies a few months back and planned to make them for the festival." He stirs the content of the teapot to make the water go brown as it soaks out the essence of the tea leaves. "truth to be told, I was hesitant to incorporate them into the café cause this is the first time I made many for the customers."

"first time? What do you mean?" Milly asks confused.

"this is the first school festival I ever had in my life." Kira replies as he returns and pours more tea for Jessica who finished her cup. "and that's the truth."

"really?" Jessica asks a bit surprised. "you don't have a school festival where you come from?"

"no." Kira shakes his head before he stares at the ceiling with a small smiling face. "back at my homeland, me and my friends would go to school to learn and research on Armor design and development. We don't have such a thing like the school festival because we were already working adults back there."

"that's a bit sad in a way…" Jessica spoke. "already working at such a young age. You must not have a good time then?"

"I had a good time, actually." Kira replies while coming back as he refills his guest's cup of tea.

Some little chatters are shared between the two as Kira gets to fully understand why Raymond and Daniel are totally smitten for the girls. They are kind, polite, way better than any other girls of the advance classes.

"I guess that you are having all the fun of your lives in the festival." Kira said as he refills his guests' cup with a newly brewed pot of tea. "how are things with your fiancés?"

As Kira asks his question, Milly and Jessica went silent as they look down while frowning.

"what is wrong?" Kira asks in seeing their behavior. "is something the matter?"

"t-the thing is…." Jessica whispers before she turns and looks at Kira. "to be honest…"

Kira now listens to the two girls as they told him about how they are happy with their betrothed since they are actually nice men but both are afraid that one day they might cancel their engagement.

"they are having seconds thought, are they?" Kira asks the girls as they nodded in reply. "I see…"

"we're happy with each other but the fact remains that they could break off the engagements because they are afraid of being too rushing into marriage." Milly added in as she looks rather sad. "it has happened in the past to other households' girls and it led to a lot of problems afterwards."

"Is that so?" Kira spoke in a whisper as he understands the little problem that they are having. 'I guess they have another reason for coming to the café, don't they?'

He thought about their problem and remembered a time when Daniel and Raymond would tell him about how many rich nobles in the academy would go for the good and nice girls and leaving only the bad personality ones behind. In fact, many of those rich nobles alike with Julius and his entourage are a bit overflowing in numbers which leads to the poor nobles of his group to have to face the trouble with the cruel girls.

'is this why many of those rich nobles come to the academy in the first place? Just to avoid marriage with the bad girls? Or to escape arranged marriage to older women like with Colin-kun?' Kira thought as he is sure enough positive that the academy and the very Holfort Kingdom's system of marriage is too cruel in many ways.

"we're sorry if we are a bit rude and all, but if the events that our betrothed cancel our engagements…" Jessica spoke as she looks at Kira before she looks a bit surprised when her right hand was held up by him. "eh?"

"please have more trust in your betrothed." Kira spoke to Jessica before he looks at Milly. "the both of you." He kneels and gently grasped the girl's hand. "please understand that an arranged marriage is something that cannot be planned so easily and cannot be predicted as you wished it to be." He sighs a bit and looks at the girls after standing up straight and let go of the hand. "i understand your situation of yourselves having second thoughts of your engagement but please understand that you must speak to your fiancés about your fears together. You say that they are good men, correct?"

"y-yes.." Jessica nods a bit hesitantly.

"then please speak to them and do understand of your fears together." Kira said with a nod and a small smile. "if you wish for a happy life with the person you wish to be, then please converse. This situation takes time, patience, and also understanding."

"we know…but still…" Milly muttered out as she looks very nervous and worried which Kira notices.

"if you feel nervous to speak to your betrothed, I would be happy to accompany you to speak to them as a mediator one day." Kira stated while placing a hand to his chest. "and if you feel unready, then I'll prepare a tea party in the future to assist the both of you in preparation when you wish to talk to them."

"r-really?" Milly asks a bit unsure.

"yes." Kira said with a smile. "just remember that you must believe in yourselves and your hearts when the time comes for you to talk to them, alright?"

Jessica and Milly nods as they can't help but feel happy to know that Kira would help them and they felt themselves falling in love for his understanding and kind nature.

After sharing his advices to Jessica and Milly, the three continues to converse about anything that comes into mind. The atmosphere being a bit fun and happy.

Kira looks at the two as he serves them another cup of tea. The young man taking notice that the two are very attractive girls and their beauty and personality reminds him of Lacus, although her being more beautiful than the two.

'if war didn't broke out, perhaps I would've met girls like them back at Heliopolis…' Kira thought of his past and the time of peace he had with his friends. As he reminisces the past, Lacus appears in his mind. The love of his life giving him a happy smile that made him smile back. 'Lacus…' he chuckles softly. 'she's the one for me but if that war never broken out, I would've met girls like them instead..'

"if only I met girls like you two more earlier…" Kira spoke out softly as he accidently and unconsciously blurted out the last part of his thoughts to Jessica and Milly who heard it.

The girls blushes as they heard rumors of Kira being the type to go after broken-hearted or unsatisfied betrothed women and to actually hear his words about them, just made it more provable.

"hey, Jessica. You heard what he said, right?" Milly asks Jessica who nods her head twice. "if he likes us as his type of girl…"

"we might have a chance to be with him in the future, right?" Jessica replies and Milly nods her head twice in reply.

The two girls begins to giggle to each other and Kira notices it after being brought out of his train of thought.

"what did they talk about?" Kira asks himself as he looks confused before he turns towards Tori who came flying and perched to his right shoulder.

"Tori~!" Tori cries out to Kira before the mechanical pet bird flies away.

on the next day, Kira is seen walking around the school's ground with Angelica and Olivia as they are having a break from the café work. Raymond and Daniel are supervising the place as it was easier to handle because of the lower number of customers.

The three are just walking around, seeing what interests them from the other student's stalls and getting a few snacks along the way.

"These crepes are really good." Olivia said as she and Angelica got strawberry and chocolate crepes together. "Milly-san and Jessica-san weren't kidding when they said that their friend is good at making them."

"indeed, the taste is very sweet and addicting." Angelica commented with a smile.

"How does yours taste, Kira-san?" Olivia asks Kira who has milk flavored crepes, but he doesn't seem to be enjoying it that much because he seems to be not paying any attention. "Kira-san?"

"huh?" Kira turns and looks at Olivia. "sorry, did you call me?"

"y-yes…." Olivia nods before looking worried. "are you alright, Kira-san?"

"you've been a bit off after yesterday." Angelica stated as she too had a worried look. "are you still thinking about that Offrey girl?"

"no, nothing like it." Kira replies while shaking his head before he turns and hardens his gaze a bit. "I just felt a bit sceptic about that Carla person that's all."

"Carla-san? why?" Olivia asks.

"it's not a surprise that you are very paranoid of her." Angelica said with a nod as she looks at Olivia. "the way she had you to introduce Kira by making you into a middle man will be perceived as a way of request from the source. That is why he is sceptic of her because of her underhanded method."

"I recently learned that her family is under the Offrey household." Kira spoke as he looks at his crepes that he took a bite from. "to know that what happened is followed with her coming for the request…" he glances at Angelica. "seems a bit far off from a coincidence, is it not?"

"very much." The red eyes blonde replies while nodding. "I suspect that they have something in plan for you in one or two ways."

"s-should we report it to the Royal Capital?" Olivia asks worried. "I mean, she asked Kira-san to subjugate Sky Pirates that are terrorizing her land. If it was just a lie…."

"better not." Angelica replies while shaking her head. "first of all, this is a request that has no clear proof of an evidence that it is real or not." She then looks at Kira. "what we can only do know is to see where it goes."

"indeed." Kira nods before he and the girls hear some loud chattering nearby.

"what's that?" Olivia asks in seeing how there is a crowd near a large bulletin board.

"ah, it's the board for the school festival's events." Angelica explains as the group goes near and sees one large flyer that shows an airbike. "seems that it is going to be a thrilling match at the Airbike Races."

"seems that many are seeing the possible winner to be Dan-senpai." Kira spoke as he sees Dan Fia Elgar's name being number one on the list of the airbike race's participants. "I've heard from Clarice-senpai that his track record as an airbike racer is on whole other level."

"indeed." Angelica nods. "but some are seeing the new candidate to be Jilk who is.." she stops when she realized what she was saying and turns to have an apologetic look at Kira. "sorry, I shouldn't be saying his name so normally."

"I am fine." Kira told Angelica with a small smile. "I do not feel bothered by the duel beforehand. I still feel a bit angry for some moments, but I will get pass that soon enough."

"understandable." Angelica replied while nodding.

"hey, let's go and cheer for Dan-senpai and the others." Olivia spoke out as she looks at the flyer before to Kira and Angelica. "it says that the semi-finals of the race will start in about 20 minutes. I think we have time for it, right?"

"Raymond and Daniel have the café covered, so yes." Angelica nods with a smile before looking at Kira. "you want to watch too, Kira?"

"let's go." Kira replies while nodding.

The three soon leaves for the Airbike racing stadium as they left without knowing that in the crowd by the bulletin board is Marie and Kyle. Both are looking at the airbike race's info and the other events posted.

"yesterday's meeting with the queen ruined business so much!" Marie spoke as she grimaced a bit in remembering how Mylene came into her café and scolded Julius very terribly. "just why did she had to come!?"

Marie sighs before she looks at the bulletin board once again.

"If everyone wins their tournament, we'll soon be able to gather our target amount of money!" Marie spoke with a very anxious looking face. "With this, we won't have to worry about living expenses."

"Why don't you make bets on who would win using the money we've earned?" Kyle told the girl while tilting his head to the side. "Everyone's a winning candidate, right? The benefits to reap would be immense if you win."

"That won't do." Marie replies while shaking her head and had a serious look. "I hate gambling!"

"really?" Kyle replies as Marie just looks very frustrated.

'It's the same as with my previous life' Marie thought while biting her fingernail. 'A boyfriend I went out with was a good-for-nothing who lost almost all the bets he made and carried severe debt. I'll steadily make my large earnings.' She soon made an even more angrier face. 'It's the same now. Furthermore, my family is in debt because of gambling. Ugh! I miss my family from my previous life. Those days were nice. My childhood was fun back then.'

Marie huffs for a moment and then looks at Kyle.

"Now, let's work hard to earn money." Marie said before going off. "Lend me a hand, Kyle!"

"I have no other choice, do I?" Kyle said with a sigh. "I'll do my best to earn a salary."

upon the stadium of the Airbike race event, there is a race on going by many students of the academy who are going zooming fast around the racetrack. The crowds just cheered for them as some were just screaming for a racer to win because they are doing some betting to get money.

Upon an airbike pit, there is Dan talking with Clarice while some of her followers are working on giving maintenance on airbikes. The two conversed before they turn and gets greeted by Kira, Angelica, and Olivia who came.

"How are things going?" Angelica asks her seniors.

"pretty good." Clarice nods with a smile. "The new first year's participants are good, but not good enough." She waves a hand to the side. "we already cleared a spot for the final race and on the clear for the win." She then crosses her arms under her chest. "although, I don't think I need to ask on how you guys are doing after I heard about the little scuffle with the Offrey household?"

"best if we don't talk about it too much.." Angelica told Clarice while shaking her head before motioning towards Kira who is talking to Dan at the moment. "he is a bit off after the incident."

"I don't find that surprising…" Clarice replies with a nod.

"I heard the news of yesterday's race." Kira spoke to Dan. "it was a very close match between you and the second rider."

"yeah, those new guys did some work on their airbikes." Dan said while crossing his arms and nodding. "some of them cleared a spot for the finals. Go to work hard to win against them."

"AND THERE HE IS! HE CLEARED A SPOT FOR THE FINALS! LET'S GIVE AN APPLAUSE FOR THE FIRST YEAR'S FAVORITE, JILK FIA MARMORIA!" the race's MC shouted very loudly as everyone turns and sees an airbike racer wearing a green suit just getting cheers from the many crowds. "WITH AN IMPRESSIVE RIDING SKILL, HE GOT TO THE FINALS!"

"Seems that Jilk has upped his game a bit." Clarice whispers with a slightly hardened gaze at her ex-fiancé.

"this means that Jilk-san is in the finals, huh?" Olivia spoke before she glances at Kira who has a hard gaze at the man who cheated in their duel. "Kira-san.."

"Dan-senpai, can I help you with your airbike?" Kira asks Dan who made a noise and looks confused for a moment. "I learned on the mechanism in working the airbike's engine and learned a way to increase your unit's speed."

"you can do that?" Angelica asks Kira who nods before he went to Dan's airbike that is getting some maintenance from some workers.

"appreciate the thought, but I want to win the race fair and square." Dan told Kira who grabs a wrench and begins working. "I don't want to win with some tweaks and stuff."

"I am helping you win fair and square." Kira said as he untwists a nut and then did the same for another. "I do not know if you or anyone have noticed, but Jilk's airbike has been illegally modified on its engine." He glances at the Airbike racer. "in the last moment of his last lap, he used a booster that increased his airbike's speed to its limits."

"now that you mention it…" Dan spoke while scratching his chin a bit. The man remembering yesterday's race and the results of the winners. "he did suddenly get a big boost and all."

"How could you tell?" Clarice asks Kira. "to everyone else, it just looks like Jilk got a big boost by following another airbiker's air draft or something."

"The motorbikes on my island and the airbikes of the Holfort Kingdom follow the same pattern in their mechanism's work." Kira replied as he takes out the Airbike's main engine which is an engine but with glowing blue lines around its metal surface. He begins doing some tweaking with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver before using a special magical tool that looks like a monkey wrench. "their main work is from their engine which is the heart. I've worked on many machines at my homeland and I'm skilled enough to know an illegal mod when I see one."

Kira finishes his tweaking as he puts the engine back into the airbike and screw its nuts into its body.

"there, I have finished." Kira said as he motions a hand towards the vehicle. "have it tested, Dan-senpai."

"alright." Dan said as he gets on the airbike, he turns one handle and the engine roars into life. "sounds a bit rough than usual."

"try going around for a quick spin." Clarice told Dan who gets the airbike to float up into the air before it zooms around the pit very fast.

"f-fast!" Olivia cries out as Dan lands the airbike and looks a bit bewildered.

"you just tweaked a few stuff and it's now crazy fast!" Dan said towards Kira. "just how did you know what to do with the magic engine?!"

"I just learned from the books." Kira replies with a small smile.

"you really are unique in many ways, Kira." Angelica said to the young man who just chuckles a bit in response.

"e-excuse me!" a random airbike racer calls out as he is joined by a few others. "c-can we request your help with our airbikes as well?! We saw how you work on Dan-san's airbikes and we're just amazed at what you did! Of course, we'll pay you!"

"no need for payment." Kira replies with a smile. "what I only wish for you all to repay me with is to race to your heart's content." He then looks at Dan. "but for Dan-senpai, I wish to ask something in return that is different from the rest."

"What is it?" Dan asks while blinking his eyes twice.

"defeat Jilk Fia Marmoria for Clarice-senpai and me." Kira said with a smile. "show him how wrong he is for being selfish in everything."

"you don't need to ask me that." Dan said with a growing grin. "I'll make him weep!"

The time goes on for the day as it is now almost evening.

Kira is in his room as he has his door locked and his windows covered because the young man is working on an OS program on his laptop with Hachi.

"Kira, I have a report on uncharted islands around the Holfort Kingdom." Hachi reported as he made a small screen show a 3D map of the Holfort Kingdom's floating island that is surrounded by many other which are small and large. "I calculated the number of islands withholding ancient ruins alike with the one where you found the Archangel."

"how many?" Kira asks as he is focused on working with the OS, but he also has some attention to Hachi's report.

"approximately 20. Each containing ancient artifacts of weapons and tools that can be repaired and retrofitted." Hachi reported as there are small screens showing live video recordings at forests, caves, and tattered walls. "I have drones map out the locations of the islands with the most valuables."

"what is found in the closest one to our location?" Kira asks as he took a glance at one screen showing a large and nearly rusted metal chamber filled with many weapons' ammunitions. "only weapons?"

"there are a few storing old yet still repairable devices." Hachi replied while showing one screen that shows an ancient ruin that seems nearly like a tech laboratory. "would you like me to send automatons to retrieve them?"

"please do." Kira nods before he focuses back on working on the OS. "and while you're at it, can you also secure any treasure in those areas?"

"For securing needed financial resources?" Hachi asks as Kira nods.

"there are some things we can reproduce in the hangar where we found the Archangel." Kira said as he finishes the OS system and is now uploading it to a flashdrive he inserts into his laptop. "but there are a few that we have to collect the materials into making."

"such as the Archangel's frame for its optical camouflage?" Hachi asks. "I believe we can just retrofit a few old equipment from the ruins to do so."

"we can, but it'll take too much time." Kira replies as he sighs a bit while just watching the upload progress. "best if we try to make new parts which is easier than fixing old ones."

"I'll make notice to the hangar's automated factory workers." Hachi replied before making a few beeping noises. "and Kira, I have all the drones collected the information you requested on the Offrey household and of the Wayne Household."

"what do you have?" Kira asks as he sees a screen showing a live video of Stephanie Fou Offrey talking to someone at the school's gate, the person looking suspicious, but his face could not be seen because it was at the night and the area was too dark. "who is that?"

"I could not collect information of the mysterious individual," Hachi replies as the screen now plays Stephanie's voice. "but I have recorded the audio of what Stephanie Fou Offrey had spoken and have a report that she is working with an individual who is a member of the Sky Pirates."

"what?" Kira spoke with a hardened gaze as he listens carefully to what Stephanie is speaking to her associate. "that girl is working with Sky Pirates?"

"perhaps it is best if we uphold this information until we have further evidence if this has something to do with the request from Carla Fou Wayne." Hachi stated. "abrupt actions without complete evidence would lead to damage to the Bartfort household."

"I see.." Kira spoke with a nod before he checks on something. "Hachi, I want you to get all drones to survey the Offrey household, we need to get evidence of this cooperation of that girl and the Sky Pirates."

"I have extended the usage of all available drones for the surveillance of the uncharted islands along with Olivia and Angelica." Hachi reported. "would you like me to focus on your request firsthand?"

"please do." Kira nods. "and we should prepare more drones when we have the time."

"noted." Hachi replied.

At the girl's dorm and in Olivia's room, the blonde girl wearing her pajamas and is in the middle of combing her hair in front of the mirror of her dresser table.

Olivia just hums while combing her hair with a smile while not knowing that she is being surveyed by a black drone outside her window. The flying spy watches her before it turns and flies away.

"today's race was such a thrill." Olivia said with a smile as the airbike race's final match up of Dan and the other airbike racers resulted in the 3rd year senior's victory. Kira's help in upgrading the man's vehicle resulted in a high speed dash to the goal. "I can't believe how fast Dan-senpai's airbike went off with the other airbikers…" She soon sweatdrops when she remembers how Marie cries in anguish when Jilk got last place. "although I can't believe how much a tantrum that Marie-san went after Jilk-san lost…"

Olivia continues to just comb her hair several times before she hears knockings from the door.

"Coming." Olivia went and answered the door as she finds Carla standing behind. "Carla-san?"

"Do you have a moment?" Carla asks with a smile.

"Oh, um" Olivia responded. "I do."

"To be honest, I want you to participate in the suppression of the sky pirates as well." Carla replies with a hand waved to the side. "It seems that you have excellent scores within the advanced class. Would you be able to help Baron Bartfort in this request?"

"W-Well, there's something I should say about that." Olivia spoke a bit nervously. "Making that request to Kira-san through such a sneaky method was….."

As Olivia was about to make an objection, Carla made a strong slam on the edge of the door which causes the blonde to go silent with a startled look.

"won't you help your friend, Commoner?" a voice spoke as Olivia sees someone coming from behind Carla and it is Stephanie Fou Offrey who has a smirk along with some of her followers. "right?"

"y-you are.." Olivia spoke but Stephanie goes right in front of her face and smirks even more.

"If you don't help, misfortune will come your way, you know?" Stephanie spoke a bit darkly. "Sorrow will also befall upon that Bartfort bastard, the stuck-up Angelica, and your family."

When she said that, Olivia hung her head and clenched her fist.

"You'll meet Carla tomorrow." Stephanie spoke while making a shooing motion with her right hand. "Make your choice then, you dullard." She then looks at Carla. "do your job as well, or your household will be in trouble."

"y-yes!" Carla replied while looking a bit frightened. "b-but if I may ask you a question, milady?"

"what is it?" Stephanie replied while looking annoyed. "it'd better be good."

"i-I wish to ask…" Carla spoke. "do we really plan for this to go? I mean what you plan is to get Baron Bartfort and the others to be killed, right? If this plan fails…"

"it won't!" Stephanie exclaims as she slaps Carla's face. "so don't ask stupid questions!"

Carla fell to the floor as she held a hand to her red right cheek.

"you are nothing more than a servant to my household, you do as you are ordered so don't talk back, got it?" Stephanie stated as she was about to leave when she hears something from Olivia.

"p-please stop…" Olivia spoke. "you shouldn't do this."

"Huh?" Stephanie turns to look at Olivia who looks afraid but held strong.

"Both Kira-san and Angie are very strong people." Olivia spoke out while trembling. "E-Even with your threats, those two will…"

Stephanie looks at Olivia before she laughs with her hands on her stomach.

"Huh, what? Do you really think those two are your friends?!" the Earl Offrey's daughter laughs with her followers joining her. "you think that you're friends with them!?"

"I-I do!" Olivia retorted but soon gets part of her hair grabbed by Stephanie who pulls her face closer.

"That Bartfort is a foreigner and possibly just a commoner who became a noble. He might be friends with you, but Angelica? She's not." Stephanie spoke with a smirk. "Nobles have no such thing as friends, you know? Angelica knows that the most. You're just her pet who's there to alleviate her heartbreak. Do you not comprehend that?"

"Y-You're wrong!" Olivia cries out.

"I'm not wrong. When a noble is on a decline, the people around them will soon separate from that person." Stephanie smirks amusingly at Olivia. "It's not an uncommon for friends to betray others. This is Angelica we're talking about. You know it yourself just from seeing her, don't you? Her strength comes from her distrust of everyone and everything. To her, you're not human. She treats you kindly because you're her pet!"

"I am not a pet." Olivia cries out. "I am a human! Those two are my important…!"

"You know nothing, do you?" Stephanie said as she pushes Olivia to the floor. "Just what can you do for those two?"

"Huh?" Olivia looks confused to her statement.

"Bartfort is more or less a noble credited with deeds. Not forgetting how he goes after Angelica like that night" Stephanie spoke before smirking a bit. "Angelica is a natural-born pompous lady with assets and power. Are you really equal to those two? Friendship is amongst equals, right?"

"T-That's…." Olivia looks down with a frown.

"Can't talk back, can you?" Stephanie laughs at Olivia. "In the end, you're not friends. No matter how much you try to gloss over it, everyone sees you as a pet to those two!"

Olivia could only look at Stephanie in utter fear of despair as she had no idea how to confront such a person without Angelica or Kira by her side.

"Ah, I get it!" Stephanie claps her hands before pointing a finger at Olivia's skirt. "Since you have that cute appearance, couldn't it be that he's after your body? Bartfort shouldn't be qualified as noble if he's going after a commoner like you. How pathetic~."

"You're wrong! Kira-san isn't that kind of.." Olivia cried out but Stephanie cuts her off.

"That's how men are! Try tempting them by taking off a bit of your clothes and they'll soon jump at you!" Stephanie exclaimed before smirking at Olivia. "Quite shameless, all things considered. You've made a mistake by not only entering the academy, but also thinking that you can stand alongside us!"

As Stephanie continues to mock Olivia, Carla had a very complicated look on her face.

'this will end badly…' Carla thought as she looks very scared. 'this plan will without a doubt fail, Baron Bartfort is very strong with or without his Armor. He's a skilled adventurer and he's able to take down the former crowned prince and his entourage.' She shivers a bit when she remembered the duel of the Aile Strike slowly crushing the remnants of Jilk's Armor that still had the pilot inside. "if the plan goes on and it fails…'

"please stop!" Olivia's voice is heard crying out as Carla snaps out of her train of thoughts and looks around before becoming surprised as to see the other followers of Stephanie trashing around the objects in the room while the blonde girl is pushed to the ground by the Offrey girl who has her foot on her head. "please!"

"you think you have the rights to ask something from me, Commoner!?" Stephanie exclaims with a smirk. "It seems some tough discipline is necessary for you!"

Carla sees how her comrades are just laying waste to everything in Olivia's room. the books, walls, bed, clothes, everything just gets wasted with no mercy

"S-Stop it!" Olivia cries out as she pushes away Stephanie's foot off her head but the Offrey household's daughter kicks her away. "ahh!"

"What a dump this room is." Stephanie chuckles with a dark smirk "Roughing it up a bit would suit it just right."

"p-please…" Olivia cries out before she saw a teacher who had been patrolling around the women's dormitory, had arrived at a troubled girl's room. "Teacher! please help me! These people!"

Olivia begged for the teacher's help but one look from the Offrey household's daughter, she just turns and walks away like she saw nothing.

"Huh?" Olivia looks confused as she didn't understand why the teacher didn't help her.

"Do you understand now?" Stephanie spoke with a smirk. "You aren't equal to us, commoner."

Olivia's heart broke into despair as her eyes shed anguished tears. The girl in total shock at how even the teachers had abandoned her.

"Destroy everything that this trash has!" Stephanie shouted in command to her followers. She then looks Olivia with a dark smirk. "I'll be giving this trash more lectures on her standings."

"yes." The Offrey girl's followers replied as they were about to do more damage in Olivia's room but Carla quickly stops them all.

"stop! Just stop!" Carla shouted as she got everyone to stop while she went in front of Olivia. "Milady, we need to stop!"

"huh? What's the meaning of this, Carla?" Stephanie demanded a bit angrily. "you dare tell me to stop? Explain yourself!"

"I'm saving us all, Milady." Carla stated with a rather serious yet nervous tone. "if we go through with this plan of yours. Everyone, including yourself would be without a doubt killed by Baron Bartfort!"

"huh?" Stephanie looks annoyed from the mentioning of Kira's name.

"did you guys forget!?" Carla cries out to the others. "did you guys forget how Baron Bartfort nearly killed Jilk-san in the duel!? Think this clearly! If we hurt his friends, comrades, or anyone close to him like how that man did to the Bartfort Household members! I doubt he would give us mercy! think about it!"

Her words got the other girls to think carefully as they started to look a bit scared when they remembered how brutal Kira was when he nearly killed Jilk who was only saved by Clarice who stopped the young man in time.

"if we hurt this girl or anyone related to Baron Bartfort…" Carla spoke as she looks very nervous when she imagined Kira coming for them with his Strike that wields its weapons. "death will come for us all."

The girls started to back away as they really don't want to get the short end of the stick and they begin to have second thoughts.

"Milady, please. If we go to Baron Bartfort in time.." Carla spoke to Stephanie who instantly punches the blue haired girl's gut. "ugh!?"

Carla fell as she writhes in pain with a hand to her gut. She looks up before gasping in pain when Stephanie went and stomps on her head.

"you dare go against me, Carla!? You little worthless baron from the country side!" Stephanie shouted as she started stomping on the girl's head. "you worthless piece of shit!"

"M-Milady! Carla was just…" one girl tried to stop Stephanie but the pigtail girl glares back in return. "iiih!"

"you two! Pick her up!" Stephanie shouted in command to two other girls who took a second to process her order before they went and picked up Carla. The Offrey girl then turns to look at Olivia. "looks like it is your lucky day, commoner. You won't get any personal beatings for me." she turns and smirks at Carla while cracking her knuckles. "she will."

"w-what?" Olivia looks confused before she gasps when Carla got punched to the gut by Stephanie. "why a-are you!?"

"this is what happens to people who don't follow my orders!" Stephanie exclaims as she started to punch and kick Carla on her face and body, not caring to hear her cries of pain. "if you don't follow my orders! This will happen to your beloved friends, commoner!"

"p-please stop!" Olivia cries out. "p-please!"

"one of you shut her up!" Stephanie shouted at her other followers. "don't follow my orders and you're next!"

"y-yes!" the other girls replied as they went and pushed Olivia down.

"stop!" Olivia cries out as Carla continues to get beaten up to the point that blood trickles out of her lips.

Olivia could only watch in horror and despair as Carla was beaten to a pulp by Stephanie who just smirks while not having any care to what she is doing.

three days later, after the School Festival was over. Kira is at the harbor of airships within the royal capital, the young man has prepared himself for the Subjugation of the Sky Pirates that are threatening the Wayne Household and their floating island.

The young man wears his Earth Federation pilot suit minus the helmet as he put on some military gear like a bullet proof vest and a handgun strapped to a belt on his waist. All to keep him safe because he can't be too lenient at times.

"is everything up and running, Hachi?" Kira asks his AI friend as he looks at the optically camouflaged Archangel that is docked and just hovering unnoticed by the many people going around.

All the more reason for the ship to be camouflaged is to not let anyone be aware that such a futuristic airship with devastating weaponry can be found in such a place. Therefore Kira and Hachi planned to disguise the Mobile Assault Airship as a normal Holfort Kingdom's basic airship but that was nearly impossible because the basic and normal airship can float without the need of fuel. So it took the two about the entire holiday to think of a way to get the ship to float without using its engine and thrusters, and the solution was to adapt some of the current technology of the world upon the ship itself.

"all weapons loaded and power generator at full capacity?" Kira asks his AI as he did a field view check of the disguised airship.

"everything is a go." Hachi replied on Kira's communicator. "the Strike is also prepared for timed take off."

"good." Kira spoke with a nod as he soon sighs a bit and looks around before seeing Carla coming his way. "there she is."

Kira watches her come and soon that Olivia is with Carla. The blonde carrying two pieces of luggage with one being swiped by Wayne girl when she saw that he is looking at their direction.

"why is Livia here as well?" Kira spoke as he is confused as to why the girl is with Carla.

"Baron~!" Carla calls out with a smile and a hand wave to Kira who is just very sceptic of her after seeing what she did and became very curious as to why is Olivia here and why is she carrying the Wayne girl's luggage.

"Olivia seems a bit…unwell." Hachi reported as the AI is using a drone that hovers about a dozen feet in the air and is just looking at the scene below. "perhaps something has occurred?"

"perhaps." Kira spoke softly as he watches the two come and he realized that it wasn't only them. "those two…"

In time, Kira meets Carla and Olivia but he also meets with Brad Fou Field and Greg Fou Seberg who came along.

"why are you here, Bartfort?" Brad asks Kira.

"yeah, why are you here for?" Greg added in as he carried a spear with him. he soon made a surprised face while pointing a finger at Kira. "are you our other teammate for the Sky Pirates Subjugation quest!?"

"huh?" Kira made a confused noise before he looks at Carla who seems a bit discomforted. "what is the meaning of this, Carla Fou Wayne?"

"I-I'm sorry!" Carla apologizes with an awkward smile. "To tell the truth, I had gotten in touch with Brad-sama as well."

Everyone turns towards Brad who made a sigh and scratches the back of his head.

"She's under the guardianship of my former fiancée. She asked for help, so I decided to lend a hand." Brad replied as he sighs again. "There would also be remuneration, since the sky pirates had bounties on them. I thought that Marie would try to help, so I took on the role for suppressing the sky pirates instead."

"while I am here to participate after hearing about the request!" Greg said while thrusting the blunt end of his spear to the ground. "it's a good way to test my skills against those Sky Pirates!"

"do you intend to fight the Sky Pirates with only that weapon?" Kira asks as he made a sceptic look at the man before he turns towards Brad. "I heard that both of you have been disinherited from your household after your declaration to be with Marie Fou Lafan than to be with your arranged fiancés. How do the both of you plan to subjugate the Sky Pirates without proper equipment?"

"who needs them? As long as I got my magic and we have a ship, it's all good" "i only need my spear and my muscles!" the two replied as Kira just sweatdrops with an awkward look.

"perhaps they are fools who are easily manipulated…" Hachi told Kira as the AI believes that Brad and Greg are fools to begin with.

"A-Anyways!" Carla cried out with a smile while clapping her hands once. "let's cooperate together and work hard!" she then turns towards Olivia. "don't you think so, Olivia-san?"

Olivia didn't say a word as she casted her eyes downwards which made Carla let out a small click of her tongue that was very much noticed by the others.

"Livia, are you alright?" Kira asks the girl. "are you unwell?"

Kira tried to check on Olivia and see what was wrong, but the blonde just stays silent and keeps on looking down.

'what's going on?' Kira thought as he is worried for Olivia because he didn't realize the incident of that night.

meanwhile, at the Holfort Academy's female dormitory.

Angelica is found walking in the hallways of the regular class's girl dorms.

"it's so strange that Olivia didn't come like she promised yesterday." Angelica whispers with a frown. The Redgrave daughter having a promise with her friend for an outing together three days before, but Olivia didn't come at all. she thought that she was busy and couldn't tell her about it but after three days of not seeing her, she became worried. "I wonder if she is alright?"

Angelica keeps on walking as she heads for the second floor and to the room where Olivia is at.

"I wonder why Kira insists on helping that Carla girl's request?" Angelica spoke as she had thought about Kira who had left for the Sky Pirates Subjugation request from Carla herself. "he knows that she is trying to use him and yet…" she sighs. "I really wanted to help, but…"

Angelica's household is a bit in decline after the arranged marriage with Julius was broken off. She reported the little scheme to her father and brother who could only say that they will look into it and just that.

"I wished I could've joined them…" Angelica whispers as she sighs before focusing on getting to Olivia's room. "her room is number 177, right?" she made a turn on a corner and goes down the hallway while checking the number of the rooms on their hanged plates. "174…175….176…and…" she smiles as she reaches the room 177. "room 177..!?"

Angelica's smile disappears as her face formed a shocked look when she finds Olivia's room, but she sees that the door and the wall around it has been graffitied with very harsh and abusive words like 'peasant!' 'commoner welp!' 'go die!' and many more harsher words.

"just what is…" Angelica looks at the graffiti before she knocks on the door several times. "Livia? Livia, are you in there? The front of you room is.."

As Angelica tries to check on Olivia in her locked room, Stephanie and a few of her followers appeared.

"Oh, if it isn't Angelica." Stephanie spoke out with a smirk.

"you…" Angelica spoke in seeing the daughter of the earl household. She hardens her gaze. "what do you want?"

"nothing much other than to say that you should keep a tight leash on your follower." Stephanie said before having an irritated face. "because of that Bartfort bastard, I got a harsh punishment from my family!"

"and you wish to vent it out on me?" Angelica replies before smirking a bit. "sorry, but Kira isn't my follower."

"so what? you, that bastard, and that commoner pet of yours should keep yourself to your own ranks!" Stephanie exclaimed but one of her words got Angelica's entire attention.

"Commoner….pet?" Angelica spoke before hardening her gaze. "did you just say that Livia is a pet?"

"am I wrong?" Stephanie replied as she shortened the distance between the two. "Angelica, it's not good if you don't properly keep yourself in the know about your important follower and your precious little pet. You'd be sad if they go and died, right?"

Hearing her words, Angelica hardens her gaze to the point of a silent glare.

"so it was your doing after all." Angelica spoke. "the subjugation of the Sky Pirates that Carla Fou Wayne requested help from Kira was your own doing."

"If you knew about it, you should have stopped them." Stephanie spoke with a smirk. "It seems that the daughter of the duke household can be quite heartless."

'I am heartless to the likes of you, and perhaps Kira as well when he finds out about this plot.' Angelica thought as she glares down at Stephanie. 'he had already suspected that Carla girl to be a high ranked noble's follower and he had a pretty good guess on who it is.' She slightly furrows her brows. 'yet why does he still insisted to help with the request? Was it to rid of the Sky Pirates who are a threat? Or something else? He's peculiar as always.'

"Oh right, your favorite pet went out." Stephanie spoke with a smirk.

"Went out?" Angelica said while raising an eyebrow.

"Yep, she went to Carla's territory. You could say that they went together since they're friends." Stephanie chuckles as she smirks even more. "Quite the curious relationship between Carla and her. She brought a friend to a dangerous location where sky pirates appear."

And that was the last piece that held back Angelica's anger from bursting as the Duke's daughter grabs Stephanie by the collar and thrust her towards the wall to the point the air comes out of her lungs.

"Hey, what did you do with Olivia?" Angelica spoke with a dark look on her face as she chokes Stephanie's neck.

"I-I can't breath!" Stephanie gasps for air as her hands grabs Angelica's arm while her legs flutter around.

"m-milady!" Stephanie's followers tried to help but a glare from Angelica froze them in place.

"Hands off or I'll crush you." Angelica spoke those words and they didn't dare move an inch.

Angelica turns back to look at Stephanie who is having a hard time to breath.

"I have little patience." Angelica spoke as she put more pressure on her grip. "Tell me right now. What are you people planning?"

"R-Release me!" Stephanie grunted out. "My father won't stay silent about this. Your household is in for it..!"

"you believe that you will be safe after this?" Angelica asks as she interrupts the earl daughter. Her gaze grow more darker. "you will wish that it was me who would punish you for your actions, but no, it won't be me." she tightens her hold on Stephanie's neck as she chokes her even harder. "let me tell you something about my friend, Kira. He is a very kind man, a very noble one who follows the rules with righteous justice. But he is a very frightening man when angered." She looks closer at her enemy's eyes. "I believe you know how frightening he is after how he could've killed you if I didn't stop him in time." She remembers Kira's eyes when the young man finished throwing away the earl daughter during the first day of the school festival. She saw how hollowly void of emotions his eyes are as she saw nothing but an empty pit of nothing. "it'd be best if you pray for your life to be spared when Kira learns of your actions on Livia."

Afterwards, Angelica drops Stephanie to the floor and walked away as if nothing happened.

'I have to get into contact with Kira at once, but perhaps it be better if I go there myself…' Angelica thought as she turns a corner in the hallway and begins sprinting fast. 'but it might be difficult considering how fast his airship; the Archangel is. What should I do?'

"Tori~!" Angelica hears a familiar cry as she looks up and be a bit surprised when she sees Tori flying in the air before coming down to perch on her shoulder.

"Tori? Why are you here?" Angelica asks the mechanical bird. "aren't you supposed to be with Kira?"

"Tori~!" Tori replies as the bird flaps its wings and flies off to a corner and then back to Angelica. "Tori~!"

"what is it?" Angelica asks as she sees Tori flying to the corner once again. "do you want me to follow you?"

"Tori~!" the mechanical bird replies as Angelica just looks unsure at first but quickly follows.

A few minutes later, Angelica follows Tori who leads her to the boy's dorm and right at Kira's room that is unlocked.

"Tori~!" Tori cries out as the bird lands on Angelica's shoulder while the girl opens the door to the room.

"Why did you bring me here for, Tori?" she asked the bird who flies to a table which has a phone and a letter placed upon it. "that is?"

Angelica goes to the table and picks up the letter that has the message 'to Angie and Livia: in case of Emergencies."

"did Kira write this?" Angelica spoke as she opens the letter which has written instructions about the way to use the phone. "how to use…a Phone?"

Angelica reads the instructions carefully one by one before she picks up the phone which seems to be a bizarre device to her.

"press the button.." Angelica spoke as she reads the instructions before following what it says. She pressed the button and activate the phone's screen that lit up which surprise her. "a-and then?"

Angelica follows the procedures in the letter as the instructions of how to use the phone is also the instructions on how to make a call to Kira.

"I hope you and Livia are alright, Kira.." Angelica spoke as she presses the call button and waits for the caller to receive it.

At the Royal Capital of Holfort, there is Mylene who is having a mother to son meeting with Julius who came home. She was in the middle of her work when her son came, she asked him on why he came and his reason was that he wanted to ask for assistance to subjugate the Sky Pirates which she denied.

"You want to earn fame by suppressing sky pirates? Julius, you don't understand your position." Mylene stated while carrying a cup of warm tea in her grasp. "You currently don't have the war assets to deploy a single airship. no, not even a single suit of armor." She shakes her head and looks seriously at her son. "You don't have the authority to mobilize the soldiers of the kingdom. You plan on suppressing sky pirates under such conditions? That's not even a funny joke."

"b-but!" Julius recoiled a bit from her argument as he just pushed forward with his request. "But mother! Isn't the suppression of sky pirates the duty of us nobles?"

"It's the duty of people who are suited for the job." Mylene retorted as she takes a sip of her tea and sighs before glancing at her son. "Julius, can you do better than the knights or soldiers who regularly suppress sky pirates? There are cases where boys from the academy are able to accomplish the absurd, but do you realize the amount of vocal opposition there is from it?"

Mylene knew the main reason why Julius wants to ask for her help, all of it is for his little manipulative lover; Marie who she had come to despise in more than one way.

"still…" Julius tried to negotiate with his mother who just shakes her head.

"I understand the situation of boys, though. You should give the opportunity of suppressing sky pirates to other boys." Mylene stated before she goes back to her work. " Since this is a matter of a semi-baron household's territory, we will dispatch the general troops after obtaining permission. During that time, we'll also ask for people from the academy who are interested in volunteering."

"damnit…." Julius grunted quietly as he looks frustrated. 'now I can't help those two! I'll be left behind after how I promised to help Marie! Just why can't I go and help!?'

As Mylene continues her work, a guard from outside came in with Jilk on toll.

"What happened?" Mylene spoke while still focused on her work.

"M-Mylene-sama, we have news about the Sky Pirates' Subjugation request." Jilk spoke as he looks a bit awkward in one way or another. "we have information that Baron Bartfort has departed on an airship to suppress sky pirates. Greg and Brad are also there with him."

"Baron Bartfort is?" Mylene spoke as she looks at Jilk who nods.

"Mother! We should send reinforcements right away!" Julius exclaimed as he stands up and faces his mother. "Please leave the fleet to me. You'll see that those sky pirates will soon be dealt with!"

"rejected." Mylene stated as she looks at her son. "Julius, you don't have any experience commanding a fleet, do you?" she sighs as she looks away. "You shouldn't, you'll get in the way. Also, do you understand that you have to take the knights and soldiers into consideration as well?" she then looks back at Jilk. "is that information true and correct, Jilk?"

"Indeed. I have already confirmed it." Jilk nodswith a rather unsure look. "It seems that he has gotten involved with the Offrey earl household, something which my expectations…"

"Please convey just the information." Mylene cuts him off as she wanted him to get straight to the main points of the information.

"y-yes.." Jilk nods as he straightened himself. "at the moment, there is intelligence information that an airship from the Redgrave duke household has also departed to chase after Baron Bartfort's ship, the airship heading towards the semi-baron home in question. This information comes from a reliable source."

When hearing that the Redgrave duke household was taking action, Julius looked at Mylene who cups her chin and ponders a bit.

"Reinforcements are not necessary. This is a good opportunity to know the strength of Baron Bartfort." Mylene spoke as she looks at Jilk before to Julius. "whether he is a strong knight, and can he fight against a sky pirate's group?" she cups her chin and looks to the side. "and since a duke household sent an airship, it's likely that it's for reinforcements, but it does seem a little rash." She furrow her brows together. "Considering the current position of the duke and everything…"

"Mother! Please let me go as well!" Julius exclaimed while looking frustrated. "Why is Bartfort fine, but I'm not?!"

"you do not understand the reason, and therefore you cannot be let go." Mylene stated as she resumes her work. "that child is the most human person in the kingdom and possibly the most inhuman one as well."

Her statement made Julius and Jilk look confused as they wondered what she meant by it.

Back upon the Archangel that is roaming the sky and heading for the Wayne household.

Kira is roaming around the main deck of his ship as he is just waiting for them to arrive to the island.

"what is our estimated time of arrival, Hachi?" Kira spoke to his AI companion.

"ETA is 10 minutes at the Archangel's current speed." Hachi replied. "would you like to increase the speed to ensure proper time consumption?"

"try to increase the power up to 50%" Kira told the AI as he looks at the vast wide sky with a slightly troubled look. "and while you're at it, can you find any clue as to why Livia is a bit….off?"

"I have doubts that I am able to get results." Hachi replied. "her current mood is that of….sadness, anger, and guilt. I have no information as to how she is in such a state."

"I see…" Kira said as he sighs a bit. "perhaps Angie knows why?"

As Kira ponders, he hears beeping form his earpiece communicator.

"Kira, you are receiving an incoming call from your mobile phone that you had placed away in your room." Hachi replied as Kira place a hand to his right ear. "it is Angelica."

"patch her through." He told the AI who made a few beeps and he hears some buzzes. "this is Kira. what is it, Angie?"

"i-I can really communicate with you with this thing?" Angelica spoke out in a rather surprised tone. "never mind. Kira, I have news to share to you."

"what is it?" Kira asks and Angelica quickly tells him about the Sky Pirates being in works with the Offrey household and the request that he is on is just a trap.

"that is why they wanted you to join in the cause. The Sky Pirates are aiming for your lost items." Angelica told Kira on the phone. "they plan to ambush you when you don't know what will hit you in the last second."

"I see.." Kira spoke as he had a rather mixed look on his face. He glance to the back to see if there is anyone near him before he focuses back on the call. "Angie, can I request help from your household?"

"what is it?" Angelica asked.

"I have been collecting info about the situation ever since Carla Fou Wayne arrived at our café during the start of the school festival." Kira replied as he explains his little plan that he has been making on. "I would like to ask your father's help in capturing the members and supporters of the Offrey household."

"I know, I already contacted my brother about it." Angelica replied. "they are currently on their way to the Offrey family's territory as we speak."

"Good." Kira nods. "While you do so, I shall prepare to face against the Sky Pirates and subjugate them as requested. Their existence has been troubling many lands for too long."

"i understand, and Kira…" Angelica spoke as she pauses a bit before continuing. "about Livia.."

"what is it?" Kira asks.

Angelica went silent for a few seconds before she speaks about the matter of Livia's room being graffitied, wrecked, and dirtied beyond words and she even tells him about it being caused by the Offrey household as well.

"perhaps the reason as to why she has been away from us…" Angelica spoke as she sounded sad and worried while Kira looks rather off and silent.

"I see…" Kira spoke as he clenches his left hand into a hard fist. "I understand, I'll take care of it later on."

"Kira, please don't let your hatred consume you." Angelica spoke with a worried tone. "I know that you are currently angry after knowing what they did to Livia, but revenge with death isn't the way. Please.."

Kira listens to what Angelica had said as he continue to clench his left hand into a hard fist before relaxing it.

"very well." Kira said. "I'll ensure that I can talk things out with Livia later on."

"please do." Angelica stated. "I'll be on my way to catch up with you on my family's airship. It'll take time but I'll get there as fast as I can."

Kira nods before the call was hanged up.

"what shall you do with her now?" Hachi asks as he is referring to Carla who is on board.

"Monitor and record her every movement and words for now, Hachi." Kira told the AI. "we will use it as evidence of her scheme when we arrive to her family's island."

"understood." Hachi replies before making a beep.

Afterwards, Kira turns as he hears Greg and Brad coming by.

"so what kind of girl was your ex-fiancee?" Greg asks Brad as the two are conversing about their former fiancé.

"She was an unusual type of girl." Brad spoke while seeming displeased for some reason. "I had only seen her a few times prior our engagement being decided, though. Even at the academy, I can count the number of times I've spoken with her. It's nice that we didn't fight like what happened with his Highness or Jilk, though. It was a typical marriage of convenience." He sighs while shrugging his shoulders. "I know that she's gaudy and likes to mess about, but I don't know about things like her personality of hobbies."

"I've heard rumors. Doesn't she belong to an infamous household?" Greg asks as he looks a bit confused. "Why would you get engaged with her? I don't see any benefits."

"I was engaged to her because there were indeed benefits." Brad replies while waving a hand to the side. "The Olfery earl household had been usurped, you see. It seemed that the former head of the family was a merchant. They wondered if by marrying the Field household, they could take some of their blood lineage for themselves."

"so they just want you to make a heir, huh?" Greg said with a displeased face before realizing that Kira is looking at them. "so this is where you are, Bartfort. Why are you here for?"

"just monitoring the skies." Kira replies before he looks at Brad. "but do continue on your family's former relation with the Offrey household. I have heard about the main reasons of your engagement but find it hard to understand on their main benefits."

"so you were listening, huh?" Brad sighs while crossing his arms before he shrugs his shoulders. "but I guess you should know about them in one way or another." He looks back at Kira. "their main benefit for my house is just our diplomacy with the bordering Principality."

"the Principality!?" Greg exclaimed at Brad. "so your household is active in the diplomacy of a dukedom!"

"You realized that just now?" Brad said after sighing. "but yes. My house is entrusted with the principality on the national border. After talks of diplomatic relations concluded, the earl household requested us to consider marriage negotiations." He shakes his head and sighs before smiling a bit wearily. "At the time, my father accepted because he didn't think it would go through."

"You made quite the fuss when it ended up happening." Greg said with a finger pointed out. "You were saying that you shan't be afraid of that 'Black Knight.'"

"The Black Knight?" Kira spoke as he looks unfamiliar about the topic.

"a very powerful knight of the Principality who is a living legend in the Holfort Kingdom's history." Brad explained. "his armor is pure black and it wields a sword that befits his title as the Black Knight." He then shrugs his shoulders. "but the Black Knight hasn't been making an appearance over the last decade."

"yeah." Greg nods. "some say that the guy is dead, and some say that he is retired from the battlefield. We don't really know which is the truth and which is the lie."

"I see.." Kira spoke while nodding a bit. "Disregarding those circumstances, are they a good household? The Offrey household I mean."

"they're troublesome, I'll admit to that." Brad replies while crossing his arms again before pointing a finger up. "but actually, Carla-san had shown signs of wanting to cooperate in breaking up the engagement as well." He sighs while looking away with an unpleased look. "How cunning. I suppose that they are like father and daughter…"

"It's the same for me." Greg said with a nod as he looks uninterested for a moment. "I've only met with my fiancée a few times. It wasn't really a matter of romance."

"your engagements were focused only on political benefits, is it?" Kira spoke as the two nodded. "my sympathies."

As they were conversing, a loud alarm rang as this surprised them.

"what's that noise!?" Brad exclaimed while Kira goes to the main bridge as he checks out a radar that shows two objects coming straight for their airship.

"two unknown airships are coming." Kira said as he turns towards Brad and Greg. "it's the Sky Pirates."

"they're here!?" Greg said in surprise. "that's fast!"

"what should we do?!" Brad asked while looking clueless.

"have you two not been trained in military regulations?" Kira said as the two looks confused which made him sigh. "I thought so." he then walks away while carrying his helmet he placed to a table nearby. "best if you two stay and protect the ship, I shall go and face them."

"what!? why!?" Greg retorted. "let us fight!"

"you both don't have Armors and you are inexperienced in battle!" Kira said as he disappeared into a corner.

in the sky just a few 100 meters in the air, right above the Archangel. There are two black Sky Pirates airships coming as they hoisted black flags with skull and crossbones marked on them.

In one of the airships is the captain of the Sky Pirate group called the Winged Shark.

"not bad…" the captain chuckles with a smirk as he sees the Archangel. "The boss would be happy if we got a hold of this thing."

"What a valuable object." A random subordinate stated with a nod before looking curious at the captain. "Though, are there really only four brats riding it? For something that big?"

"Yeah, three guys and one woman." The captain replies still smirking. "I'm also doubtful of whether or not that's true since it's a lost item. We'll soon know once we get there and look around."

"How will we deal with the four?" the subordinate asked.

"You fool. The three guys are nobles from rich families." The captain scolded as he looks at how large the Archangel really is. "We can earn extra by selling them off to rich hags. We can have a good time with the woman and then throw her away later. She's a commoner, so we can't even hold her ransom." He then points a finger up. "but remember that there is a girl who works for our employer. So don't get your grubby hands on her if you want to get paid full."

"Roger!" the group around the captain replied as they showed motivation.

The Sky Pirates airship starts to close in as they begin flanking the front and back of the Archangel's path.

"ready the squad!" the captain exclaimed. "flank that ship of its cannons and then…"

BANG!

One of the Sky Pirates already deployed Armor suddenly exploded when it got hit with a powerful plasma beam that incinerated half of its body before causing the explosion.

"wha?" the Sky Pirates' captain looks in shock as he saw what had happened.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Countless concentrated plasma beams flew into the air as several hits the Armor's before they exploded.

"w-what's going on?!" one Sky Pirate shouted to the other while the captain looks and gasps in shock when he sees that the Archangel has its main body appear under the airship as its Mirage Colloid System was turned off.

"What is that thing!?" the Captain shouted as he sees the Archangel turning around to face his own airship, the man confused for a moment before he gasps when he sees the Strike on the opened catapult launcher and is equipped with the Launcher Pack. "an Armor?"

The Launcher Strike aims its Agni as its main battery has been connected to the Archangel's power supply via attached cables. The Gundam aims for the Sky Pirate's ship and fired a shot that destroyed a part of its hull along with nearby Armors.

"discharge completed." Hachi reported to Kira who is aiming his Gundam's weapon with the help of the extended Sighting Device in the cockpit. "time for next discharge t-10 seconds."

Kira hardens his gaze as he looks at one of the Sky Pirates airships that is slowly falling because of the hit on its hull.

"Hachi, prepare for direct confrontation with the Sky Pirates' second ship." Kira spoke as the sighting device retracts and the Launcher Strike disconnects the cable to its Agni's frame. "we need them to confess on their partnership with the Offrey Household. Deploy the weaponized drones."

"roger." Hachi replied as large helicopters like drones flies out of the catapult launcher and went pass the Launcher Strike that ignites is back thrusters and flew straight to the back main deck.

The Launcher Strike aims its Agni at the other enemy Airship as it soon opened fire at its mast that gets incinerated in the shot.

the attacks cause the Sky Pirates to go into a disarrayed panic on their ships as they had no idea that there was such a powerful Armor on board an airship like that.

"C-Captain! We've taken massive damage!" one subordinate screams at the captain while the rest of the crew is panicking. "what should we do!?"

"s-surrender…" the captain spoke as he fell to his knees because of the utter defeat that he and his crew just suffered. "we'll just surrender.."

The white flags were raised from the Sky Pirates as they surrendered to Kira who sees their actions from the Strike's main monitor screen.

Some time later, upon the deck of the Archangel's upper airship half.

Brad and Greg look in complete amazement and awe upon the large number of Sky Pirates who are handcuffed to each other and are being brought away to prison cells by many drones armed with weapons.

"in just 10 minutes…" Brad spoke as he saw the Launcher Strike dropping an Armor which was used by the Sky Pirates to a pile nearby. "he took them out with ease.."

"There's no winning against that thing…." Greg spoke as he first thought that he could get a rematch against Kira and his Gundam but after seeing how easily the young man took the enemies out in mere minutes. He started to have second thoughts. 'so much for having actual combat experiences..' he looks down in frustration. "Am I a brat? Was I just a brat trying to look cool?"

As Brad and Greg looks in utter defeat from the fact that they didn't do anything useful while in the middle of the enemy attack, Kira came out of the Launcher Striker's cockpit. The Gundam had kneeled down and deactivated its Phase Shift Armor.

Kira gets down and takes off his helmet before sighing.

"have all the Sky Pirates been captured and detained?" Kira spoke to Hachi on his communicator.

"only this squadron." Hachi reported. "I have collected information and found out that this group is only a quarter of the main force that are still out there."

"then perhaps it's time for us to interrogate Carla Fou Wayne for their location." Kira said with a serious look on his face.

"would it not be wise just to wait for their arrival and the reinforcements from Angelica's household?" Hachi asks. "it is not wise to charge in blindly without knowing the number of the Sky Pirates' forces."

"we'll manage against them with the Archangel's assistance." Kira said before he walks straight for Brad and Greg. "but for the Offrey Household? We end their terrorism upon the Kingdom now."

In one room on the airship, there is Carla who is panicking and in complete terror.

"c-come on! Work!" Carla hits the communication device that looks like a very old telephone that looks like a model of the Alexander Graham Bell's telephone. "why can't I call them!?"

Carla is panicking because she witnessed how easily Kira dispose of the Sky Pirates that came for them.

"I knew that this would happen! I told her that this wouldn't work! Why wouldn't she listen!?" Carla keeps on hitting the telephone device several times but all she got was buzzes. "this ship is a lost item but why can it be so powerful when there are only 5 people on board?! This is such a cheat!" her mind panics even more as the airship is still heading for her family's floating island. "at this rate, we're going to arrive at my household! I still didn't tell anyone about it! and if Baron Bartfort finds out about what Milady did to that girl…"

Carla bangs her fist against the telephone before throwing away its speaker as she is in a complete panic of fear.

"if Milady knows about this, I'll be the one to suffer and if Baron Bartfort finds out, I'll suffer as well…." Carla started to think of a way to get out of trouble. "all that hard work…" she begins fearing the punishment she'll get from the Offrey Household for her failure and also the wrath from Kira. "I don't want to.."

Carla slowly tears up as she is very scared.

"I said that I didn't want to do this, but she always threatens my family and yet…" Carla cries in tears. "I said that we shouldn't do this and yet…and yet…" her tears endlessly fell to the floor. "why do I have to suffer for her actions!?"

As Carla cries, she didn't realize that the door to her room was opened by Kira who came in with Brad and Greg.

"Carla Fou Wayne." Kira spoke out to Carla who made a gasp and turn to look in shock. "this is all over now."

"w-why are you…" Carla turns as she backs away to the table and looks very scared. "w-why?"

"we overheard of what you said." Greg said as he crosses his arms and having a hard gaze at the girl. "we were just coming around to tell you that we were going to arrive at your household when we heard what was going on"

"to think that you got us into this little plan of yours." Brad added in as he waves a part of his hair to the side. "as much as you are only a henchmen to master planner, you are still involved with it." he huffs once. "best be prepared for your punishment."

"w-wait!" Carla begs as she tried to plead to the three. "t-this was not my fault! Milady threatened me and then!" she went and grabbed Kira's right hand while pleading to him. "and then i! i!"

Kira looks at Carla for a moment before he looks at Brad and Greg who looks back at him then they turn and walk out.

"Carla Fou Wayne, I shall give you two choices." Kira spoke as he looks down at Carla with a very serious gaze while he kneels. "one, you shall tell the truth and be spared with mercy or two, you shall continue to lie and face a capital punishment once we arrive to your family's household." He hardens his gaze at the girl as he wasn't playing around. "pick a choice and determine your fate."

Carla looks at Kira in tears as she somehow felt a sliver of hope coming her way when she makes her choice.

Nighttime, the Archangel is currently docked near the Wayne Household's floating island.

The situation of the Sky Pirates cooperation with the Offrey Household was brought to light as it was all revealed by Carla who confessed everything to Kira and the others.

From how it was planned for the Archangel to be attacked by the Sky Pirates who plan to take hostage of the people inside to how everything was to be orchestrated from a noble of the kingdom. Everything was revealed in detail.

After hearing what Carla had revealed, Conrad Fou Wayne; the girl's father was very much angry and disappointed with his daughter's action as the plan was simply an attack on three nobles of high rank which if the culprit of the attack was found out, they will face immediate execution. But thanks to Kira's promise of the choices he gave to Carla, he will give her and her family mercy by requesting it to the Royal Capital when he finishes the Sky Pirates' subjugation which he plans to do whether or not it was planned.

At the moment, Kira walks upon the Archangel's upper airship half as the young man walks to a door and knocks it twice.

"Livia? It's me, Kira" Kira called out while knocking the door once again. "can I come in?"

No reply came from inside as Kira knew that Olivia might still be depressed about everything that had occurred on her from the school to the current state from which he got a better view of understanding from Carla as well.

Kira waited a moment of silence before he slowly opens the door and enters the room where he finds Olivia sitting on a chair while having her gaze casted down to her lap.

"Livia, I heard from Carla Fou Wayne of what the Offrey girl did to you a few days ago." Kira said as he went and sat across from the depressed looking girl. "I'm very sorry to not realize what they did to you."

Livia stays silent as she didn't say a word to Kira who looks worried.

'they must've done horrible things to her…' he thought while clenching his right fist tight. 'this must be my fault. I had Hachi pull away the drone that was surveying her safety and because of that…'

"Kira-san, you're really amazing." Olivia spoke as she slowly raised her head and looks at him face to face. The girl having a sad smile to him. "You solve things by yourself, and you can do anything by yourself." She soon looks down while tearing up. "but yet…why?"

"why?" Kira spoke as he looks confused.

"why are you so kind to me?" Olivia asks while shedding some tears. "It's strange, don't you think? I'm just a commoner with little worth. So what reason do you have for supporting me? I really don't see why. How come you're helping me, even though I can't meet your expectations?"

Kira looks at Olivia as he could tell that all of her words are coming from whatever the Offrey family's daughter had done to her.

"Are you after my body?" Olivia asks as Kira just shakes his head in response. Which made her have a gloomy smile on her face. "That would the case, wouldn't it? I'm not cute, Angie's the beautiful one." She looks down and let her tears fall to the floor. "she's a pampered girl, after all. I have nothing going for me. nothing, and yet you have a reason for why you treat me kindly." She looks back at Kira. "just what is it that you want of me? Why are you this kind to me? It's strange, don't you think? I mean I'm not helpful to you two."

"Livia." Kira spoke out as he tried to approach the girl, but she slaps his hand that was going to come near her.

"I wanted to be friends with you two!" Olivia cries out in tears. "Yet, aren't I no different from a pet? Don't make light of me. I'm a human! I am not a pet!"

Olivia just broke down in tears as she just cries with her hands to her face.

Kira looks at her as he listens to her cry with a frown on his face while remaining in a standing position.

The room is silent except for Olivia's cries as it remains the same for almost 5 minutes.

Olivia is now left with just sobbing and tears still going down her eyes.

"I'm not a normal human in any standard." Kira spoke out as Olivia made a small noise while looking up at him. "where I come from, I'm called a Coordinator."

"C-Coordinator?" Olivia spoke with a confused face.

"My homeland and the homeland of my enemies are called the Earth Alliance and Zaft." Kira spoke out. "the two nations have names for their people. One is Coordinator and the other is Naturals. Both have different beliefs and view of the others." he takes out a handkerchief and leans down to gently wipe away Olivia's tears. "perhaps you can say that the Natural's behavior is nearly similar to many of the Advance Classes' female students who treat commoners alike with you as insignificant, but I'm not like them since I am a Coordinator whose people treat others as equals."

Olivia looks at Kira while holding his handkerchief close to her chest.

"you wish to know the reason why I am kind to you?" Kira asks as he sat down beside Olivia and looks at her. "it is because you are alike with the girl who I love. You are kind, caring, and loving to all. you wish for peace and tranquility than violence and aggression." He went and gently caresses her head. "I understand that you were treated badly that Offrey girl and her followers, but do not let their words and actions affect you so much, Livia. Not many nobles see you in the same way." He smiles a bit. "Perhaps Angie might have been the same as them in the past but guess what? she's changed from the old person she was to the Angie we know and love. And her change was only possible thanks to your kindness and loving heart that consoled her on the day she was heartbroken."

Olivia looks a bit surprised at Kira who patted her head a few times.

"you are my friend, and you are also the friend of Angie, Clarice-senpai, Raymond, and Daniel." Kira said as he wipes away a single bead of tear under Olivia's right eye. "it is best if you believe in what you want to believe then be influenced in the words of people like them. Do you understand, Livia?"

Hearing Kira's words just put comfort into Olivia's heart as her tears returned and the young girl hugs her friend while crying on him.

"I'm sorry~!" Olivia cries. "I'm so sorry~!"

Kira holds the sobbing girl as he let her cry as much as she want on his shoulder, the young man knowing that she will need a lot of consoling after what she had gone through at school and here.

Meanwhile in the Royal Capital's Dungeon.

There is Marie and Kyle, both wearing suits of armor and just exploring the Dungeon with weapons in hand.

Marie leads Kyle who is carrying heavy baggage on his back which got him to complain.

"Let's just go home, Master." Kyle told Marie while looking tired. "I mean, this place is definitely dangerous."

"Don't give up! Our future lies ahead of here" Marie told Kyle. "a promising glory awaits."

Kyle pouts with a whining look on his face.

"I wish that we could have brought along everyone, though." Kyle said as he continues following Marie. "I mean, the monsters here are strong after all."

As Kyle mentioned Monsters, one large lizard-like monster appears from behind and roars loudly at the two who instantly screams.

"it's here~!" Kyle screams as he and Marie runs as fast as they could while the monster gave chase. "run~!"

The lizard monster growls as it keeps on chasing the two further deeper into the Dungeon.

"don't underestimate me!" Marie shouted as she takes out a grenade and pulls the pin. "take this!" she threw the activated explosive towards the lizard monster that saw the object and instantly goes to eat it before its head exploded while causing black smoke to fly everywhere.

The monster now killed, had turned into black ashes and left the two alone.

"take that!" Marie said with a proud face that looks still to be panicked and in fear.

"I want to go home already!" Kyle cries out in tears.

The two continues their journey deeper into the Dungeon as they keep on being wary of the monsters lurking inside.

'Alright. I can do this. I have the proper knowledge for everything up to here!' Marie looks around as she is very wary of any shady movements that are not from people or anything alike. 'If I can retrieve that──I can break free of this current situation!' she soon looks a bit frustrated when Olivia appears in her mind. 'I thought that Olivia wouldn't be able to do anything, but I can't be careless when that mob is by her side. If I don't retrieve what I need as soon as possible, I might go mad from my life plan getting beaten to the punch.'

Marie remembers Kira as she is now very wary of him.

'that guy is ruining everything I worked hard for! He just goes there and do this and do that when he goes there! He's making my life more miserable than when I was back at my old world!' Marie grips her hands tight. 'but everything will be alright once I get that item!'

"Let's go, Kyle." Marie said as the two pass by a sign that says 'Danger! Keep out!' on it.

"What is there ahead?" Kyle asks. "that sign says that it's dangerous there!"

"just follow along and you'll see." Marie stated as she looks determined. "When we get there, be relieved. We can say goodbye to our life's troubles."

"will we be able to come back home safely to do so?" Kyle asks as he is very worried about his life.

"just come with me and we're home free once I grab the treasure that is just ahead!" Marie told her demi human servant. "we have to take this much risk because our life is set whether or not I get that treasure!"

Marie and Kyle keep on venturing deeper into the Dungeon as they disappeared when they reached the further depths of the labyrinth.

At a later time within the Royal Palace.

There is a little discussion occurring between Julius and Jilk.

"I've been thinking about something, Jilk." The former crowned prince spoke to his foster brother. "how about we slip out of the palace to find Greg and the rest?"

"that is a good idea" Jilk said with a nod. "As expected of his Highness!"

"however, how would we even sneak out?" Julius asks while rubbing his chin.

"You do stand out in the royal palace after all, your highness." Jilk stated as Julius is the former prince who is well known. "Mylene-sama instructed some watchmen to keep an eye on you. Slipping out wouldn't be a simple matter."

"Is that so?" Julius spoke as he continues to think before he got an idea that made him smile. "I've got it, Jilk!"

"As expected of his Highness!" Jilk responded.

"A mask. Prepare a mask." Julius explained while pointing a finger out. "I'll hide my face with it! actually, it would do well to hide my body as well, so prepare a cloak too!"

"I see, you'll escape by hiding your figure." Jilk said as he agrees with Julius' plan before he realized something. "however your Highness, how do we plan on preparing a mask and cloak?"

"That would be a problem." Julius spoke as he begins to think. "I got it!"

"As expected of his Highness once again!" Jilk stated.

'once this plan succeeds, how about I go and meet Marie too?' Julius smiles in thinking of the girl. 'I must escape no matter what!'

at Mylene's office, the queen is currently looking very worried and disappointed at a report paper for the usage of the royal family's money for masks and cloaks that Julius requested.

"are those kids actually fools? Morons?" Mylene asks. "I thought they were superb prior to being disinherited, though. Were they seriously thinking about sneaking away from the royal palace using a method like this? If they were, then I'm really worried. Worried in so many ways."

She sighs while shaking her head as she knows how much of a foolish plan that they had thought of.

KNOCK KNOCK

A few knocks are heard from the door nearby as Mylene made a hand motion for the guard to open it.

"come in." Mylene said as she sighs tiredly in seeing the request paper from her son. She turns and looks at the door that opens before she smiles when she saw who came in. "ara, this is a surprise."

"have I come at a bad time, Mylene-sama?" the guest asks as it is a teenager wearing a nearly translucent white dress while carrying a pink ball that has a face and mouth. "I can perhaps come at another time?"

"no, you came at a right time actually," Mylene said as she motions her guest to come near. "I wish to have your opinion on this."

"what is it?" the pink haired guest asks as she came and takes the paper of the request for funds in getting masks and cloaks from Julius. "this is….?"

"something that your brother had asked of me to provide…" Mylene spoke as she sighs tiredly. "rather foolish, aren't they?"

"to be correct, very foolish." The pink haired girl stated while shaking her head and having a sad looking smile. "were they not taught better?"

"they were. But leaving that aside, what did they plan on doing by leaving the royal palace? Don't tell me that they didn't think about what to do after they would leave?" Mylene begins to ponder about her son and his friend's mindset as she can't believe how much of a fool they are. "There's no way. Their stupidity can't be that big. Though, I feel like they didn't think about what to do after leaving the castle."

"perhaps we should reeducate them?" the girl asks Mylene who nods before she grabs her pen and writes 'REJECTED' on the paper before telling one of her servants to go and tell the result to her son and his friend who without a doubt would feel defeated.
