Eva and The Child
"I doubt he even knows how to tickle someone", Eva said to another kid who she had somewhat befriended over the past few days she had been in this town.
She was referring to the little one sitting on her lap. The Child's face twisted to something resembling a frown as he looked up at Eva.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that, champ?"
Suddenly the kid made a quick way to Eva's chest and before she could really even understand what had happened there were soft little fingers running all over the sides of her neck.
Eva shrieked but it turned into laughter in the middle. She almost dropped her hold of the child, the only reason she didn't because she pulled him at arms length.
"Okay, okay! You can tickle, I'm sorry I doubted you", Eva said grinning.
The Child looked smug. Eva reached with a hand and her fingers leapt over his ears in one swift motion. The little one giggled and tried to reach Eva's arm in turn.
