Hi Everyone this is my first ever fanfic. I hope you enjoy the story.
This story is divided into 3 or 4 chapters. This chapter alone took me about 7 hours to finish.
Please, constructive criticism is a must for me. I need to improve my writing.
In a certain Teapot...
"Paimon..." Aether started in a low, yet serious voice.
"I need your help"
"For what?" Paimon tilts her head
"To confess"
"Confess what?"
"My love"
"Your love for what?"
"To her"
"Damnit Aether, stop playing games and tell me already!" Paimon angrily shouted while stomping the air.
"Alright, Alright. Geez" Aether sighs and takes a deep breath.
"I want.. you to help me confess my feeling towards... Ayaka."
He finally said it. Aether confessed to Paimon that he had feelings for Kamisato Ayaka. After months of reflection and personal denial, he had finally come to terms with his true feelings towards her.
Paimon squeals at the revelation.
"PAIMON KNEW IT! PAIMON KNEW YOU HAD FEELING FOR HER!" Paimon shouted towards Aether.
Aether blushed. It looks like Paimon knew his feelings towards Ayaka after all. Her reaction shows that she is very supportive. YAY!!
"Wait a damn moment," Aether looked puzzled, "Paimon knew?" "What?" But I had just told her a moment ago. "
"What do you mean you knew?" Aether asked her what she meant.
"It was pretty obvious, you know," Paimon said, crossing her arms.
"Enlighten me" Aether said curiously.
"Let's see... Paimon will only say the most obvious ones," she said, placing two fingers on her chin.
"Combat prowess complimenting one another"
"Same interests and desires"
"You two always have time for each other."
"Nightly strolls in Inazuma City"
"Lowkey flirting during small talks"
"Most of all, the handholding request by Ayaka a few months ago." Paimon pointed this out. "You held each other's hands. And established eye contact for about 30 minutes without speaking."
Aether is speechless. He couldn't come up with anything to dispute her claims. Every sentence lands a critical hit towards his heart.
"A-Atleast you're the only one who knew about it." Aether said weakly.
"About that..." Paimon interjected
"All our friends in Inazuma noticed the chemistry between the two of you. While the rest of the population thought you and Ayaka were dating."
"WHAT?!?!" Aether was in disbelief at what he heard.
"Yup" Paimon smiles, "they even had a ship name for both of you; it's called AEYAKA."
"Aeyaka???"
"Also, Yae Publishing House released a novel called "The Traveler and The Heron." "An obvious depiction of you and Ayaka." Paimon added
Aether was bewildered. Was it that obvious? Does our day-to-day interaction catch the attention of the land of eternity?
Did these...rumors reach the mainland as well?
On one hand, he is flattered by the public's perception of him and Ayaka. On the other hand, he wants to bury himself in order to hide his embarrassment.
"Aether? Hey Aether!" Paimon calling the travelers' attention
"Stop thinking about what Paimon said just know," she said, noticing Aether deep in thought.
"Let's focus on getting you ready for your declaration of love toward Ayaka." she said excitedly.
"She is right... I need to be ready." Aether thought
Aether nodded in response with a slight frown.
"Don't worry, Aether. With Paimon by your side, planning your confession will be as easy as pie."
Little did Paimon knew.
She will regret her decision later
