The sounds of war raged around him as one creature surveyed his enemies. He grasped his trident with his blue, furry hands, his dark power flowing from it. His cape flapped behind him as he advanced on the people who dared oppose his master's wishes.
''How dare you attack the Sanctum?'' A large Aeralfos blocked his way. "We will beat you and all of Team Power! Sword Slash!"
Ganon chuckled darkly as he blocked a sword strike from the Aeralfos. It's not even evolved yet! I will make quick work of this one, thought Ganon.
As he drew upon his Shadow energy, he listened to the shrieks, yells, skreams and explosions that were happening around him. He noticed a Toadpoli strike down a Torchslug, a Wolfos bite on a wriggling Biobaba, and a Bombchu exploding itself in the face of its enemies.
Ganon released the Shadow energy with a cry of: "Lords Shadow: Mass Darkness!"
The Aeralfos shrieked as its mind was ripped apart by Ganon's super effective attack. "You will only gain pain if you people oppose us. You should know better than to challenge the King of Darkness!"
Ganon suddenly realized that something bad was happening. Bad for it, at least. Good for the soldiers of the Sanctum.
Ganon hissed as twilight fell upon the meadow that the two armies were fighting in. Somewhere in the Twilight Mist, he could hear long, mournful howls as the Twilight calvary apeared.
''It's been a long time, Ganondorf." A human figure appeared in front of Ganons master, Lord Ganondorf, the boss of team power.
Ganon wanted to rush in and save Ganondorf, but twilight tendrils were keeping him from moving. Behind him, he heard the gleeful chuckle of the princess of Twilight, Minda. "Don't even try, Lord of Darkness. I thought you were Team Power, heh, but we have overpowered you."
"You're just lucky." Growled Ganon as he struggled against the powerful Twilight Princess.
"You'd think so." Minda giggled.
Champion Zelda stood in front of Ganon's master. Champion Zelda would surely hurt him with her team of Light. Ganon needed to get there fast.
Master! Run! I can not help you! He spoke telepathically to Ganondorf.
Ganon, I have a plan in mind. Do not worry. Ganondorf thought. I devised a strategy with mu grunts for when such a thing like this happened.
Ganondorf quickly reached into his pocket and pressed a button. Ganon realized it would be very difficult to do that when the full team of Champion Zelda was staring at you.
Ten seconds later, the full force of Team Power evaporated in thin air.
"Darn it!" Ganon heard Zelda yell as Ganon faded away. "Fairy, stop the-"
And the battle disappeared in front of his eyes…
Ember slithered through the tunnels of her mountain. Behind her, a giant predatory bird was chasing her.
"Yesss… I love lizards." The bird called. "I was resting and you desturbed me. Time to be eaten."
Ember squeaked as she rounded a corner and smashed into a scaly hide. Peering up, she realized she had bumped into a Dodongo.
"I'm sorry Uncle Boom!" Cried Ember as she slithered beneath the larger Dodongo. "I'm running from a bird! A big one!"
The giant bird then rounded the corner with a squawk of: "I've got you now, little lizard!"
The suddenly screeched to halt as a plume of fire narrowly missed him.
"Don't keep me from my snack, Dodongo!" The bird shrieked as it dive bombed Uncle Boom. "Beak Furry!"
"Flame Spout," said Uncle Boom. "Ember go find your dad. We're having Kargarok for dinner!"
Ember paused as she got a good look at the bird called a Kargarok who was battling with her uncle. He had a forked tail and his skin was dark gray. Its wings were leathery and the edge looked sharp.
"Hey," The Kargarok cawed. "You're alright, for a Dodongo. But I've got countermeasures for explosive lizards. Wave Wing!"
"Uncle!" Shrieked Ember the Kargarok slashed a wide cut across the surprised Dodongo.
Water erupted from the wound and Uncle Boom howled in pain.
"Run… Ember…" Cried the Dodongo as he fell unconscious.
"You heard your uncle, Baby Dodongo." Smirked at the Kargarok. "You better run!"
Ember slivered forward frantically, tears streaming down her face.
"But you can't hide."
Suddenly the ground was taken away from her as sharp talons grasped Ember's side.
"Mama!" She shrieked. "Papa! Uncle!"
"Quiet, freak!" Yelled the Kargarok angrily. "If you are quiet, I might abandon you at the sight of greater prey."
They rushed through the cave, weaving and wending through the winding passageways. And then they were out of the cave. A massive expanse stretched out below Ember. She could see mountains and certain Zeldamon, human villages and other settlements.
Even though she was in the claws of a predator, Ember could only gasp in awe. This world was amazing. But this is the last thing she will see, she thought.
As they passed over a snow covered mountain, Ember realized how cold it was up here.
Even though they were passing above a beautiful landscape, Ember was quivering with fear in Kargarok's talons. She really hoped this Kargarok would see some larger and tastier prey then her.
Ember squeaked as a long screech came to her ears. Beside them, many Kargaroks and Guays were calling through the cloud they had landed in.
"Well, well, well…" The Kargarok laughed. "looks like we found my flock, little lunch."
The Kargarok smashed Ember onto the ground of a floating piece of rubble hidden in the cloud. How this got here, and how it was floating were all alien to Ember. She only cared about the creature that was about to rip her to shreds.
But instead, the rock she was lying on exploded, and she was launched into the air and fell down back to Hyrule.
Behind her, she could hear shrieks of; "Volvagia! Volvagia is here! run for your lives!"
And in front of her, the forest they were above rushed in to meet her body. And that was the last thing she saw before she smacked into the forest floor…
