B Block...

MC: " Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the battles of the second Block of Artemis! We've enjoyed wonderful and amazing battles all through A Block, and we're to enjoy even more! Don't look away, for our players here are all fired up! Sa! Who will be the finalist of B Block!"

Down there, Arata and Muraku as well as Hiro and Yuuya took their places, LBXs in hands and ready to descend.

Krutz who was Hiro and Yuuya's opponent smirked before flicking his earring.

Yuuya: " Liu Bei!"

Hiro: " Perseus!"

Krutz: " Chain G-Rex!"

All LBXs landed on their Dioramas and were waiting for their cue. Chain G-Rex started jumping, shifting its weight from one feet to another while waiting to start.

Asuka: " is this Hiro's customized Perseus!"

She focused on the now red and blue painted LBX. Ran merely gave a sweat drop.

Ran: " he modified it as to look similar to Senshiman."

Eva chuckled.

Evangeline : " sounds like something Hiro would do."

Touko: " 2vs1 huh? That Krutz guy is in a bad situation."

Ruri: " not actually."

Everyone turned back to her as she commented sternly. Ken then interjected, his voice most earnest they've heard.

Ken: " we've fought him before, and experienced first hand just how strong of a player he is. He was able to take a whole lot of LBXs on his own. Pretty strong that 2vs1 seems hardly a handicap for him."

MC: " Battle Start!"

Chain G-Rex darted ahead, aiming for Liu Bei who blocked using his shield. Perseus hurried to help his teammate but G-Rex swiftly sidestepped him and directed a punch at the red robot who was thrashed back.

Hiro: " so strong!"

Yuuya: " keep in mind that our opponent is a world level champion!"

Hiro: " alright! Then let's try attacking together!"

Both Liu Bei and Perseus headed off, trying to get to the LBX. But all Krutz did was sneering as he typed on the CCM unwaveringly.

G-Rex intercepted Liu Bei's sword, clapping its bare hands on the blade.

Yuuya: " what!"

He kicked away the yellow and green robot before twirling to block Perseus this time. Both his swords fell on the chains surrounding G-Rex arms, which blocked him.

G-Rex jolted away the swords and punched Perseus hardly on the chest, to which he was hurled backwards.

Krutz: " C'mon! Entertain me more!"

Yuuya bit his lip as he thought about their situation.

Hiro: " both defense and attack is almost perfect!"

Ban: " nothing less expected from the LBX that managed to hold off in front of an infected LBX."

Jessica: " he is really a hard opponent."

Ranger: " tell me about this."

Ranger could swear his metal armor was clinking as he recalled their encounter.

Valkyrie: " for us, we needed to use the Diorama to defeat him."

Jin: " seeing as they're fighting in the open fields diorama right now, there is nothing they can use."

He noted as he quickly ran his eyes through the field.

Yuuya: " Hiro-kun, fighting him face to face won't pay off."

Hiro: " I know. Do you have a plan, Yuuya-san?"

Yuuya's eyes narrowed at the LBX who was waiting for them to make the next move.

Yuuya: " I may have an idea, but whether it works or not..."

Hesitation manifested on his face. He wasn't going to deny how strong Krutz was. A steeled defense and swift onslaughts, not to mention Chain G-Rex agile and nimble moves.

Hiro: " Yuuya-san, anything could be useful in this situation."

Jin: " seems they have a plan."

He pointed out as he spotted both of them discussing. Suddenly all of them shifted their attention to Wataru and Momona as they leaped on their feet rejoicing loudly.

Wataru: " they did it!"

Momona: " Senpai and Muraku-san had won their first battle!"

True for their words, the LBXs of Muraku and Arata's opponents lied motionlessly on the ground of the Diorama.

MC: " what a strong team! Nothing less expected from Kamui's students!"

Rooting started from another side of the stadium as well and the MC quickly turned around.

MC : " oh my! Schneider had scored his victory as well!"

Jeanne D: " he will be Muraku and Arata's next opponent."

Momona: " doesn't matter! I'm sure Senpai will defeat him!"

Ban: " they're moving."

He got everyone's focus back to Hiro and Yuuya. Perseus took the vungaurd as he started striking, swinging his swords at the other robot who kept parrying them off using his arms.

Just as G-Rex was about to return the attack, Hiro pulled quickly, leaving the space for Liu Bei to take G-Rex by surprise and stop him.

The LBX manged to force back G-Rex, and quickly ran towards it with his sword held up, ready to thrust his opponent while it was knocked off balance. Yet, G-Rex didn't take too long to recover its balance and direct a spin-kick towards Liu Bei.

The yellow LBX was knocked sideway and Perseus moved again to assault.

Jessica: " going with a switching strategy I see."

Ken: " but it won't do them much benefits."

Aya: " true, I hardly doubt that Krutz won't be able to keep up with them."

Yuuya and Hiro kept calm as they focused on their attacks, switching whenever one of them was about to be targeted.

Elie: " they have something in mind."

Everyone looked back at her as she said that. Even Krutz down there started to grit his teeth as he understood they were planning for something.

Yuuya: " how much is it?"

Hiro: " almost lower than half."

Yuuya: " yosh, Hiro-kun, the rest will be up to you then."

Hiro merely nodded before switching with Yuuya once again. Liu Bei rushed past Perseus and clashed with G-Rex, none of them backing off.

The fight raged on as Liu Bei took the stage on his own, swiping his sword around. Though he managed to gash the armor, but G-Rex was still intact. Krutz on the other hand focused on punching and kicking, but all of his attacks were mostly nullified by the shield.

G-Rex smoothly arched back as to avoid the sword and then hit Liu Bei's right shin, swiping his foot from under him.

Liu Bei fell back on the ground and G-Rex aimed a punch at him, however the yellow robot quickly rolled to the side as to avoid it. He promptly stood back on his feet and attacked G-Rex from behind.

Krutz: " you're very persistent."

He grinned widely as the LBXs clashed more before backing.

Krutz&Yuuya: " Hissatsu Function!"

" Attack Function: Byakou Shou Hazan!"

" Attack Function: Thunder Attack!"

Both LBXs dashed towards each other, one surrounded with a white tiger shaped aura and the other had emerald green thunder covering its fists.

There was a bright light as they both came to contact, but soon faded to the sight of the two LBXs standing facing away from each other.

A few seconds in which the crowd held their breath waiting for the one who will fall first. Finally, Liu Bei's knees gave in and he fell down, emitting an explosion of light.

MC : " Liu Bei! Break Over! All is left now are both Perseus and G-Rex!"

Yuuya lowered his CCM and looked at Hiro with glimmering eyes before they both exchanged bobs.

Krutz: " sa! Come at me as well! Entertain me more!"

His thrilling wasn't hidden from anyone in the venue. They could all see just how much he was enjoying his time.

Hiro: " As you want! Strike Mode!"

" Strike Mode!"

Perseus was wrapped by a blue glow while the CCM's screen enlarged as to improve control for the blunette.

Krutz: " a special mode huh? We can do the same as well!"

" Wilde Mode!"

G-Rex as well was covered in green glow before a hologram screen appeared in front of Krutz.

Krutz: " let's go!"

Hiro: " Perseus!"

Both LBXs dashed with an incredible speed, leaving nothing but dust behind them. They clashed together, sending strong air waves with each contact they made.

They kept exchanging blows with high speed, each of them pressing hardly on the other and trying to push him back.

No one was able to get his eyes of the screen to not miss one single move of their amazing duel. Krutz smirked widely while Hiro narrowed his eyes in determination.

Mirai: " don't you lose! Hiro!"

She stood to her feet, cupping her hands on her mouth and yelling on top of her lungs as she could no more suppress her excitement.

Zenon: " awesome!"

Following their moves became harder by the time, their typing on the CCMs became even faster and their focus could not be directed anywhere outside the Diorama. All they could see were the flying flashes of green and blue, clashing and sending sparks around or chasing after each other in a zigzagged rythme.

A golden ring could be seen forming around Hiro's pupils.

Ban: " it's starting."

Perseus picked even more speed as he cornered G-Rex, leaving it no more space to attack. Krutz had to keep dodging and defending himself.

Krutz: " tsk!"

Finally Perseus swayed both sword together in an X shape and managed to knock G-Rex backwards.

Hiro: " Now! Hissatsu Function!"

" Attack Function: Cosmo Slash!"

Krutz: " not easily!"

G-Rex stepped firmly on the ground and dashed forward while Perseus was charging his energy in his blades.

Krutz: " Hissatsu Function!"

" Attack Function: Thunder Bolt!"

Thunder gleaned on top of G-Rex head as he aimed his bunt at Perseus.

Everyone watched with wide eyes and clenched on their hands tightly. It was a matter of speed, who ever will strike first will be the winner.

Hiro: " go!"

Perseus' swords cleaved at the air together, summoning the blue energy wave that cut through G-Rex.

The dust rose up around them, and when it cleared up, G-Rex laid on the ground. A few second, it exploded into blue and yellow lights.

Everyone roared with joy as the battle ended and the MC howled on top of his lungs.

MC : " Battle ended! Winners! Hiro and Yuuya team! That was a formidable fight they had shown us!"

Krutz walked over to both Yuuya and Hiro with a satisfied smirk.

Krutz: " I've lost. For so long I thought there was no one in the world who can defeat me, but it seems there are stronger players showing up. I need to hone my skills more."

Hiro: " Krutz-san, to be able to fight you is really a honor."

Krutz: " same here. Especially your plan. You've decided to face me alone to give your teammate a better chance of defeating me."

Yuuya had a smile as Krutz faced him.

Yuuya: " well, that's the main purpose of the team, working together."

Krutz: " the world is really a very wide place. I'm looking forward to meet other strong players. Then, until we battle again, Oozora Hiro, Haibara Yuuya."

They shook each other's hands before Krutz left the arena.

Ken: " that was amazing!"

Ranger: " he managed to defeat him on a face to face duel!"

Ruri: " Hiro-san is really awesome!"

Valkyrie: " don't forget Yuuya. He was the one who made sure to protect his LBX till the end and save up his HP."

On another side of the stadium, Lillia watched as Yuuya and Hiro left the platform as well.

Lillia: " nothing else expected from Hiro-san. I wish to have a chance to battle him."

She said with a soft smile, her eyes admiring the blunette as he spoke with his teammate, all excited.

Ban: " they managed to pull through."

Mirai: " their next opponent doesn't seem to be that much trouble."

She checked the lineups again.

Lilyan: " if things go well, Hiro-san and Yuuya-san will face off against Muraku-san and Arata-san.''

Down there, Muraku and Arata were discussing who will be entering the next match.

Muraku: " our opponent is a famous LBX player who is known to claim victory in most of the tournaments he had participated in."

Arata: " it's alright, I doubt he will have a chance against you or me-"

Muraku: " have you forgotten what happened when we battled both Jin-san and Ban-san!"

Muraku pointed out while Arata sweat dropped as he recalled their loss back then and sighed.

Muraku: " judging by the lineups, Hiro-san and Yuuya-san are to make it to the next round."

He had placed his hand around his chin in thoughts. They have to take in consideration their next round. He doesn't expect to come out of a battle against Schneider unscratched, yet, they have to keep the damage at minimal if they ever want to reach the finals.

Muraku: " Arata, you go in next."

Arata: " eh!"

His mouth almost dropped as he heard his friend saying that.

Dot Blastrizer: " are you sure of this, Muraku!"

The white and red LBX wanted to make sure of what he just heard. The black haired boy nodded with confidence.

Muraku: " I think you both are the best choice to face off against Schneider. He is known for his powerful attacks and heavy defense. Only you can break through them."

Arata blinked twice at that before drawing a wide smile on his face.

Arata: " got it, leave it to me then!"

He said holding a fist up...

Unbeknown to him, there was someone else other than his grandfather following the matches.

The man was staring at the TV screen in the corner of his office when the door opened, revealing the form of his secretary who had came in with a batch of papers in her arms. Though it was already dark outside, she couldn't leave unless he gives her permission to do so in case he may need her.

Secretary : " I've brought the documents you asked for."

She said with a smiley face. The man's only reaction was to nod without looking away of the TV.

Hiroto: " very well, you can leave them on the table."

She answered to that, but as she placed the documents on his desk, she couldn't help but reverting her eyes to the TV, wanting to know what got the attention of the ever so serious lawyer.

Secretary : " A live of Artemis? Right, I've heard your son is entering."

His eyes slightly twitched.

Hiroto: " losing his prescious time playing around while he should be planing his future. I still don't understand what ties him to this toy."

MC : " here we go! The second round is about to begin, all players, please take your places!"...

All the players walked off to their respectful dioramas, facing their opponents as they took their positions.

The black haired man looked down at both Arata and Muraku with a wide smirk.

Schneider : " let's give it our best."

Arata: " of course."...

Back in Japan, the lobby of Kamui Daimon was still full of students though their representatives had lost.

Takeru: " I never thought so much people will stay to watch Arata-kun and Muraku-kun's battles."

Kageto: " they can be considered as our representatives as well. If they weren't away, they should have been chosen to participate in Artemis instead of the other two."

He stated out as he leaned his head back on his arms.

Haruki: " everyone else is looking forward to their battles as much as we do."...

MC: " Ready!"

Hiro: " Perseus!"

Arata: " Dot Blastrizer!"

Schneider : " Titan!"

The tank like panzer framed little robot took its place on the castle's diorama, a little far away from it was non other than its opponent Dot Blastrizer that was getting ready for the attack.

" Battle Start!"

Arata: " I will finish you off!"

Dot Blastrizer's boosters kicked in, pushing him towards the opponent. The two blades in his hands were brought up to slash at the other LBX. But in a swift move, the other LBX backed, moving to the side and easily dodging Dot Blastrizer as he came towards it.

Arata: " what!"

He retried the same attack again and again, but Schneider's swift and well calculated moves allowed him to dodge the other LBX with ease.

Arata: " damn it..."

Momona: " what are you doing, Senpai!"

Muraku: " Arata! Calm down! You won't defeat him if you get traped in his pace!"

Schneider widened his smirk at the vexed face of the red head boy.

Schneider: " is that all you have? I thought you are better than this."

Arata bit his lip as his LBX made for another assault.

Schneider : " alright! Enough playing around!"

Titan dashed on forward, blocking Dot Blastrizer with a pin pointed attack, the end of the drill and that of the saber intercepted each other, blocking all of the white and red LBXs thrusts.

Arata: " man, he is tough!"

Muraku bit his lip as he followed on the battle, had he made a mistake to leave it to Arata?

Wataru: " what's he doing!? They will lose like that!"

Jin and Ban kept silent for the whole time. Eva placed a hand on her chin as she followed the course of Arata's onslaughts carefully.

Twilight : " Eva..."

Evangeline : " ... Right."

Muraku's eyes widened as he felt something different in the air around Arata. Directing his look again towards the battlefield, he was able to understand why. His lips quirked upwards in a wide confident smile.

Muraku: " that's what it was."

Schneider : " it's your end!"

He manged to wave away another attack and aimed at the opening in Dot Blastrizer's defense. The drill cut its way towards the other robot.

Arata's lips quivered into a small smirk as he typed on the screen. The boosters kicked in again and Dot Blastrizer managed to back away from the drill.

Arata: " alright, I got the hang of it now!"

Muraku smirked as Arata's face lightened up.

Schneider : " heh, what're you talking about? You've been merely hitting around the bushes for the whole time! You were focusing on finishing this battle with a single attack from the start."

Titan made for the attack this tame.

" Set up! Blast Magnum!"

The two blades shape shifted to two guns. Dot Blastrizer quickly shot at his opponent and Titan was forced to stop on its tracks and defend itself by holding up both drills together.

Dot Blastrizer managed to keep distance between them, which seemed to piss off the other man as he had no mean of proceeding forward.

Muraku: " Arata, tank type LBXs have a limit to their moves!"

Arata: " Ok!"

Memorizing Muraku's point, Arata made for the attack this time, his weapons shifting again to two swords as he charged.

Schneider : " oh no you won't! I can't face my fans if I let myself be defeated here by a kid! Hissatsu Function!"

" Attack Function: Kousokuken Issen!"

Titan held up its drills that span while gathering yellow glow within them before charging forth. Schneider squinted at the red and white LBX that was heading his way.

In a swift move, Titan thrusted its drills in front of it, unleashing with that the energy it was gathering at Dot Blastrizer.

Dust rose up, covering the sight for everyone. The crowd held their breath, waiting to know if Schneider's attack hit or the battle will continue on. Momona and Wataru specifically were a tad from falling of the railing they were craning over.

A green blade shot out from behind the columns of dust. Hurriedly, Schneider reacted, pulling back his Titan. Dot Blastrizer scooted forward, while Titan was trying to back from the blades that didn't quit slashing and thrusting.

MC : " Schneider is now pushed to a corner!"

All the other matches had ended, only Arata and Schneider's were still going on. Everyone had their eyes clang to the screens, following each small move from both opponents.

Ban: " it's becoming harder for Schneider."

He pointed out when the energy blades made contact with Titan's armor.

Mirai: " his moves became better. But how?"

Evangeline : " the attacks he conducted earlier on Titan, they were for a purpose."

She tipped her, much incurring curious looks towards her.

Ban: " Arata tried to discover his opponent's fighting style before he engaged into the battle seriously."

Jin couldn't help the small smile that appeared on his face.

Jin: " he sure have grown since our last battle."

Beargguy: " then, when he finally managed to get the hang of Schneider's moves. They became quite predictable for him right."

Jessica: " will, it's a tank type after all. Though in terms of powers and ability to last longer he would exceed other LBXs, but still it has disadvantages when it comes to moves.".

Schneider made the choice to engage into the battle, both blades and drills brushed against each other, sending flying sparks with each clink of metals.

Odin M: " to be able to fight against an LBX with high specs such as Dot Blastrizer, he really is worth of champion's title."

Schneider let a small smirk slid. He looked at his opponent who looked up as well, grinning from ear to ear and his eyes sparkling with joy.

Schneider: " it's been a while since I was ever pushed back this far."

Their weapons locked, pushing hard against each other before kicking back, gaining more space to perform their special moves.

Dot Blastrizer's weapon shifted to his two guns again.

Arata& Schneider : " Hissatsu Function!"

" Attack Function: Kousokuken Issen!"

" Attack Function: Maximum Chain!"

Both LBXs sucked in energy into their weapons, ready to launch it any time soon to defeat the other. In a flash of both yellow and orange, both attacks collided together. Arata's energy blasts that shot everywhere around and towards Titan, and Titan's energy drills. The aftermath was a bright yellow light that faded, revealing both LBXs with scratches all over their armors.

Soon, Titan's drills fell down as it had no more energy to move them, in a flash of blue and yellow lights, he emitted the light explosion that signaled the end of the match with Arata's win...
