The following week Cena was at home, in Greenwich Ct., getting ready to watch a taped WWE Monday Night RAW. Stephanie changed the channel to the USA Network, WWE RAW opened up with a look back at Daniel Bryan and John Cena from the previous week, and then they saw highlights from the Gauntlet Match.
Vince McMahon's music hits as Michael Cole welcomes the fans to RAW. However, everyone can see behind Vince is RAW General Manager Brad Maddox. Vince gives the mic to Maddox, and he apologizes for his boneheaded decision to let John Cena choose his SummerSlam opponent.
Vince reminds Maddox that he called Bryan a troll last week. The kids chuckle.
"Bryan is a troll grandpa," Sophia said.
Vince asked Maddox if he knew what a troll was.
Maddox looked at Vince, and Vince said, "Maddox, you may be onto something."
Vince went on and asked Maddox how he felt about Bryan. Daniel Bryan's music hits, and out he comes.
"Interrupted my grandpa," J.J. said.
Bryan comes out and talks about respect. He tells Vince he's given his company everything every night, but Vince hasn't given him anything.
"My grandpa gave you a contract," Khloe said.
Vince asked Bryan if he respected him and his son-in-law, Champion John Cena.
Bryan respects that Cena chose him for SummerSlam.
Vince says, "Bryan cannot beat my son-in-law John Cena or Kane."
Vince continues to mock Bryan's height. My son-in-law is a gladiator, the WWE Champion, and the face of the WWE. I care about my son-in-law because of his the father to my grandkids and my daughter's husband.
Bryan says, "It doesn't matter what Vince thinks; it matters what the fans think. The fans want a new champion at SummerSlam, and his name is Daniel Bryan." So some fans of the pop while boos.
Bryna asked the fans if they wanted a new WWE Champion and his fans chanted "yes" as Bryan joined in and his music hits. Then, the music changes, and out comes The Shield.
WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose and Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns pose together as RAW goes to a commercial. When RAW returns from the break. Mark Henry is out with The Usos. The Cena kids watched the nonstop action in the six-man tag Reigns runs in and takes Henry out with a spear, as one of the Usos takes out Reigns. Jimmy Uso tags in, hits a Superfly splash on Ambrose and covers him for a two-count. A big Samoan Drop on Ambrose now, as Jey goes to the top for another splash, but Ambrose gets his knees up. Ambrose drops him with a DDT, covering him for the win.
"Aw, man, I wanted the Usos to win," J.J. said.
The Cena kids see a video earlier in the day, where Ryback overate at catering.
"Gross," Sophia said.
They continued watching as Ryback threatened one guy and shoved him into the wall. Ryback got in the man's face and intimidated him too. Ryback slapped the guy around and slapped some food onto his face. Ryback puts the man through the table full of food and walks off. RAW goes back to commercials.
When RAW returns from the break, they see another video package for the Wyatt Family. Then they see Kane walking up on Brad Maddox backstage. Kane wants the Wyatts. Maddox says, "If Kane wants to send a message to the Wyatts, what better way than his match against Daniel Bryan tonight."
Back to the ring, bringing Rob Van Dam to a big pop, as RAW goes back to commercials. When RAW returned from the break, they saw how Alberto Del Rio beat RVD on SmackDown. After seeing that out comes Fandango with Summer Rae, heads to the ring, enters, and poses for the WWE Universe. Summer Rae exited the ring as the referee signaled for the bell. The Cena kids watched the nonstop action throughout the match until Fandango ate a spin kick and another kick from RVD.
RVD goes up top, but Fandango rolls out of the ring. Summer Rae argues with RVD while he's on top. Fandango, and Summer, leave up the ramp as the referee begins to count Fandango out. The referee reaches the ten count. Then signal for the bell, and then raise RVD's hand. After the match, Fandango takes a mic from the stage and says, "his name" before dancing away with Summer Rae.
They see AJ Lee and Big E Langston, are backstage. A.J. is dreading another spear from Kaitlyn. A.J. says, "Big E lets it happen every time." She starts laughing and playing with her hair.
A.J. says, "Big E likes her and likes what she does in the ring." Big E rolls his eyes, and A.J. skips away as RAW goes back to commercials.
When RAW returned from the break, the outcome is WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee with Big E Langston.
"Auntie Nattie sure be Divas Champion Khlo," Sophia said.
"Maybe mommy will make Auntie champion someday, Sofia."
Sophia smiled at her big sister as they continued to watch Monday Night RAW, A.J. smacked Kaitlyn to start the match, but Kaitlyn knocked her to the mat. A.J. manage to get control and hits a big knee to the head of Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn began to fight back, and then the nonstop action continued until Kaitlyn hit the spear and covered AJ Lee for the win. After the match, A.J. throws a fit, and Big E comes to console her, but Dolph Ziggler comes out and congratulates A.J. on her loss. Dolph challenge Big E to match, and he accepts. RAW goes back to commercials.
When RAW return from the break, the action is underway with nonstop action throughout the match until Ziggler slides out, Big E charges him and ends up on the floor. A.J. comes in and jumps on Dolph's back for the disqualification. After the bell, the referee tries to pull A.J. from Dolph's back as she kicks and screams. Ziggler escapes the ring, but A.J. throws a fit. Big E comes back in and yells at her for interrupting the match. Ziggler runs back in and lays out Big E before taunting A.J. some more.
John Cena is backstage on the phone when Daniel Bryan walks in. Bryan asked why Cena picked him; Cena looked at him and said, "You must be deaf or something, Bryan. I told you last week why I picked you; you have been disrespectful to my wife, Stephanie Cena, the CEO of the WWE."
They stare at each other, and Bryan walks off as RAW goes back to commercials. When RAW returned from the break and outcomes, Christian popped from the WWE Universe. The World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio is out next to boo. After that, the nonstop action begins throughout the match until Christian blocks a cross armbreaker, but Del Rio blocks Killswitch/ Christian, and Del Rio goes back and forth until Christian rolls Del Rio up for the non-title win.
Still to come Kane vs. Bryan, as RAW goes back to commercials. When RAW returns from the break, Wade Barrett waits in the ring as Cody Rhodes comes out to a pop. Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring, enters, then poses for the fans. The nonstop action has begun until Cody hits the Cross Rhodes for the win. After the match, Damien Sandow comes out and damns Cody for throwing the briefcase into the Gulf of Mexico on SmackDown. Cody smiles, and Sandow says, "He's filed a complaint with WWE Management. He's done all this bug stuff, but all Cody has down is grows a mustache."
Sandow says, "Cody come front a family of downs, so maybe now, he will send him back to the circus where he belongs." RAW goes back to commercials.
When RAW return from the break, Cena kids see a recap of the opening segment with their grandpa Vince and Daniel Bryan earlier in the night. Then, the Cena kids see some Total Divas footage before the next match that involves their Auntie Nattie. Back to the ring, as Brie Bella comes out with Nikki Bella, the fans boo, and Brie knows why the fans are booing because of her twin sister Nikki. The latter has attempted to break up Cena's marriage by alleging that Stephanie is carrying Randy Orton's baby. Brie knew that Nikki was jealous of Stephanie McMahon being married to John Cena. Brie enters the ring and poses.
Natalya's new music hits, and out she comes with Miz by her side. They pose for the fans and then head to the ring together. Miz opens the rope for Natalya, smiles at him, and then enters the ring. Miz joined her in the ring; then, they posed together. Miz kisses Natalya on the lips, and the fans pop; the referee signal for the bell.
Natalya and Brie lock up, and Natalya uses her powers to back Brie into the ropes; the referee asks for a clean break. Natalya slowly backed up, Brie moved in, but Natalya scooped her up and then bodyslam her to the mat. Natalya continues to beat down Brie. Natalya locks in a reverse chin lock, and Nikki encourages her sister to fight back. Instead, Natalya applies pressure on Brie. Nikki continues encouraging her sister, and Brie manages to fight back up and goes to work on Natalya. Miz encourages Nattie to fight back, and she does begin battling back, but Brie keeps control and goes for pin attempts, but Natalya kicks out before one count. Natalya fights up, regains control of the match, and goes to work on Brie. Natalya grabs Brie, hits her with the Michinoku driver, and then covers her for the win.
"Yay, Auntie Nattie, win," Sophia said.
Stephanie entered the family room to see that her little sister had won the match. Stephanie smiled and then rubbed her baby bump before sitting down next to her son J.J. He cuddled with mommy, and Stephanie smiled. They saw Paul Heyman backstage with Curtis Axel before RAW went back to commercials. When RAW returned from the break, R-Truth waited for the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel to make his way out with Paul Heyman. They listened to Heyman cut a promo about the match between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar, then he switched to praise Curtis Axel.
Curtis talks about his father and says he is already more perfect than perfect. Axel enters the ring, and R-Truth attacks him. Truth continues to beat Axel until Axel fights back, and out of nowhere, CM Punk runs down and pulls Axel out of the ring, sending him into the barricade. Punk stares at Heyman and smiles. Punk chases Heyman to the barricade, but Axel comes over and fights him off, and Heyman manages to escape. Punk clotheslines Axel over the barricade as Heyman runs off to the back.
The kids see their parents walking backstage with Triple H as RAW goes back to commercials. When RAW returns from the break, Vince McMahon is backstage with Stephanie McMahon Cena, WWE Champion John Cena, and Triple H.
Vince says, "Bryan has no respect for us."
Triple H says, "That's obvious, Vince."
John says, "Bryan needs to worry about me and the beating I am going to give him at SummerSlam."
Back to the ring for the main event, Bryan vs. Kane, there was nonstop action until Kane took control of the match and beat down Bryan. After that, Kane controls the offense until Bryan wins Kane after countering a chokeslam. Bryna celebrated as John and Stephanie Cena came onto the stage, and John held up the WWE Champion to taunt Bryan with it as RAW went off the air.
