The pair headed to the island's south side, and the heat became more intense as they continued to travel. They had to do a little detour to loot the Cave of Tethys, as Kassandra was planning to salvage the site today, giving the two 59 drachmae each and a Spartan Javelin. Kassandra decided to keep the weapon as she currently didn't have a spear.

With the money, they had the pair decided to head to town and go buy Naruto some clothes as his current gear was very messed up.

The small port town of Sami was a very poor settlement made from shacks that were painted white, some who were rich were able to sit on their marble villas as they sipped whine. Those who had to work in the hot sun, seemed very busy, as the shipping company that settled at the docks was busy making ships and cutting down tree logs, the market only had a few people in it who were busy looking for the things they need.

"Even after these years, this town hasn't changed a bit." Naruto mused as she and Kassandra entered the market. Finding a clothing vendor Kassandra bought Naruto a new pair of sandals and a blue sack long-sleeveless shirt.

"So how do I look?" Naruto asked Kass as the girl looked at him. "Way better than you first arrived here that's for sure." hearing this Naruto nodded. "Here my man, your payment." Naruto gave the man gold coins. "What in the hell is this? This is not drachmae?! Are you ripping me off!" the man shouted as he threw the coins on the floor. "Hey man what the hell?! That's money right there, valuable money! I wouldn't rip you off with money that works in Egypt!" Naruto replied vehemently.

"Well this isn't Egypt!" the vendor replied at this point Kassandra decided to cut in since this scene was going to catch a lot of people's attention. "Aristas will you just calm down, just because he gave you gold doesn't make the world a bad place, you can obviously trade those coins for drachmae, so stop having your head up your ass and just take the money." Kassandra said as Aristas just looked at her as he just threw his hands in the air. "Whatever, why don't you to just get out of here, your chasing away my costumers."

"Actually were the only customers you had in two months. But if that's what you want, Naruto let's go."

Leaving the shipping town the pair headed toward Mount. Ainos. On the way, Naruto decided to ask a question. "Hey, Kass quick question why did they build Zeus a private part?" Naruto asked as he looked at the statue as they walked on the path leading up the mountain. "It's part of the greek tradition," Kassandra replied. "So you're saying that statue which most people say belongs to Athena back in Athens shows all her godly goods?"

Kassandra kept silent as she mumbled a bit till she could answer. "M...maybe...I'm pretty not sure since I haven't been to Athens before."

"But still would you want your statue goodies to be shown to everyone?"

"Me of course not even though having a statue of me would be very flattering but I like being well dressed like how Artemis' statue was back home, thank you very much."

"I'll be sure to tell the architect that." Naruto stated, "What are you planning on making a statue of me?"

"That won't be necessary since with the ongoing war that's happening in Greece this could be your chance to make a name for yourself. Who knows you might actually have Sparta beg on their feet to have you back." Kassandra snorted at that remark. "Would that be the day...for them to take back a supposed-to-be dead killer only for her to just brightly say no."

"So you think you may never go back there?"

"Never."

"Are you saying this because you might bump into your dad?"

"Yes. The last thing I need is to end up bumping into that old goat and he wants to spend his last few years catching up with me." just then Ikaros who was flying above their heads screeched.

"Oh it seems Ikaros found him, let's see what he has to say about what he's now gotten himself in." Kassandra changed the subject. Walking through Marko's Vineyard they saw some of the workers tending to the vines. So far the vineyard actually looked like a normal one.

Welcome to the Kephallonia Islands- The land of lost dreams

The words on the carved stone said as Naruto finished reading it. 'Pretty...blunt I guess.' Naruto thought.

"Boss-I keep telling you- you can't do that." the farmer told Markos dismayingly "Why? It's my farm! I can plant where I want." Markos replied. "The grapes will die here- all of them." the farmer sounded very concerned.

"You have to forget you know about the past, my friend together, we will revolutionize wine making! Believe me, you will look back on this day and-" Markos was bumped from behind by Kassandra.

"Kassandra, thank the gods- Phoibe found you in time-" Markos was cut off when his eyes landed on Naruto. "Naruto?! My boy how are you doing, it's been so long!" Markos literally pushed Kassandra out of the way. "Hey!" she shouted as Markos brought in Naruto into a bear hug. "Ohh how much I have missed you, see I kept my promise, I kept Kassandra safe and now look she has grown into such a beautiful woman. She looks very perfect to be your wife, no?" Markos asked as Naruto just looked surprised by what Markos said, as Kassandra was busy blushing up a storm in the background. "Woah Markos, calm down. I only asked you to take care of her...where does marriage come into this?"

"Oh come on Naruto you sound like a married man...what are you married? Did you get hitched to some Egyptian woman?"

"What? No...of course not."

"Well then...come on you know you're not going to stay young forever you know. I should know since as a young man myself I always thought that way and now look at me...I'm old and alone...but at least I have my farm."

Yeah to Naruto, Markos was that uncle who kept asking very persistant questions that would get on your nerves but the fact that you love them so much makes you not try to strangle them. "It's good to see you too Markos." Naruto replied as just then the farmer Markos was talking to stormed off busy muttering curses to his boss.

"I can still hear you..." Markos called to his employee who just flipped him off. Seeing that Markos just looked back to Kassandra. "I was worried sick for you Kassandra. When I heard the Cyclops had sent his scum to find you. I knew they meant you harm."

"I wish you would have told me that before they hit me. But that's beside the poiny. You bought a vineyard, Markos? A vineyard?!"

"Why not? I like wine, you like wine, Naruto likes wine. You do like wine Naruto?"

"Yeah, it's good to drink on an evening night while you look into the sea."

"See. He likes wine, everyone likes wine. Everybody buys wine! Why not from me?" he asked Kassandra.

"Because you don't know how to grow grapes or make wine."

"I'm a fast learner! You grow grapes on the vine, then you get some wine!"

"You can become a poet with those rhyme schemes of yours but it seems owning a vineyard is much more simple?"

"You know me better than to think I don't have a plan. Markos always has a plan!"

"Alright. Then do you have the money you owe me?"

"Do I have the money I owe you? Of course. Of course. Well, no. Not at the moment."

"Then-get-it." Kassandra began to intimidate the man. "Instantly, my friend, instantly. But-maybe you should do that. There is a merchant in Sami. I'm not very good at these things as you both know."

"You want me to collect my own debt?"

"It's just waiting for you in Sami, my friend."

"Who's the merchant?"

"Duris. You know Duris. He's very nice." Kassandra just huffed at the name. "Duris? Again? Why do you keep lending him money?"

"He's a loyal friend. I don't want his family to starve."

"So you decided to put him in debt? How does that work?" Naruto chimed in. "It works both ways." he replied. "Well you're a good friend but you are bad with money. Anyway how do you want to handle this one?"

"Not like how you handled that olive oil business. That was- that was too much." Kassandra chuckled. "I got the money," she reasoned. "And now we'll never get any more from him. If you kill them all, nobody benefits. Threatening them and maybe more...breaking things, certainly. Steal the money if you have to, but don't rob me of my customers. Unless you can't avoid it. These things happen."

"Well he better have my money, Markos. I'd hate to sell our vineyard."

Markos just didn't pay mind to the 'our' "Of course he will! Oh, after there's another matter I want to discuss with you. After."

"Fine, but me and Naruto are taking a couple horses. It's too hot and too long a walk to go on foot." Kassandra and Markos began walking to the stables as they were followed close by Naruto. "But-" Markos tried to complain. "Think of it as interest, Markos. Everybody benefits." she used his words against him.

"Of course, my friend, you both shall have your picks."

Arriving at the stables, Kassandra decided to take the Makedonian horse as it was bred for battle. A true warrior's horse! Fit well for a Spartan. While Naruto chose the Thessalonian as in Markos' words it was bred for it's courage.

"Are you both sure, cause these two have some kinks that you may not like."

"We are sure Markos...now stop trying to change our minds." Kassandra warned the man. "Well then I guess everybody benefits. Especially you two! Naruto you've chosen the great Kage. He's never let me down and Kassandra you've chose the almighty Phobos. He's actually a one of a kind."

"Kage, Phobos." both stated in unison as they looked at their horses. "Wait is it a coincedence that my horse was given a Japanese name?" Naruto turned to Markos. "Japanese? What is that?"

"Never mind." Naruto replied.

"Well in that case I bought this horse from some traveler from the East." Markos told Naruto. "Huh I see."

"Yeah, he seemed to have a thing for rice." he informed as he turned to Kassandra. At the same time some of the farmers began putting saddles onto the horses. "Remember, Kassandra to meet me at the temple in Sami when you have, uh, your money from Duris." he told her as she and Naruto lead the horses with their ropes. Just then a farmer ran towards the trio in a rush. Markos turned to the woman.

"Ah, Euterpe! There's plenty of wine left to buy. Don't fret."

"Not now, you fool Phoibe's been taken." she informed the trio. "By who?" Kassandra's older sister instincts kicked in when she heard this. "Thugs of the Cyclops- who else? Snatched her right off the main road!" she continued. "Tell me where they went." Kassandra sounded worried.

"In the direction of Klimene Beach." she pointed to the west. "The beach? Can she swim?" Markos asked. "I'll get her." Kassandra stated "Yes, you two go. But don't forget about dear Duris, Kassandra!" Naruto and Kassandra just mounted up as they headed for the beach. "So like this girl...Phoibe what is she to you?" Naruto asked.

"Well she's...how can I say this...I care about her." Kassandra replied.

"Why?"

"What do you mean why? She lost her parents just a few months back, she needs to find some love, the last thing I need to find out is that she turned out like-"

"Like who? You?" Kassandra stayed silent. "You aren't that bad Kass, you know it and I know it." Naruto told her. "Yet I was the one that killed my own brother."

"Your still on about that? Come on Kass, you know that you tried to save him...it's not your fault that priest had the reflexes of a turtle."

"But still...if maybe..."

"There's no maybe Kass. Me and you both know that he would have died either way, it's not your fault your baby brother died. You tried your best to make them stop your brother's execution...you shouldn't continue cursing yourself about things that were out of your control." Naruto informed her as she stayed quiet, "I'll...I'll think about it but for now let's get Phoibe back." with that the rest of the ride went in silence.
