Jay: Everyone, this is my brother Will, if he insists you call him Dr. Halstead, smack him upside the head.
Will: You the bosses up here?
Holt: Those would be us, I'm Captain Holt.

Sloan comes up the elevator.
Sloan: Antonio, a word.
Antonio follows Sloan.
Sloan: OK, Antonio, there is this new guy in fire service, Scott Rice, an old friend of Severide's, he might make a move on Gabby, can you keep an eye on Jake, make sure that does not happen, I also want you to keep an eye on Scott when he's up here.
Antonio: I will, Adrian, you meet Will?
Sloan: Jay's brother.
Antonio: Well, he's beginning a job as a doctor, and rumor has it that the 1st floor is doing construction for a new medical floor.
Sloan: Will could begin work here.
Antonio: Maybe.
Sloan: Both Severide and Peralta also know doctors as well. Severide and Rice went to high school with April Sexton, who just began work at Methodist. Peralta and Lindsay know Natalie Manning who has been in New York for years.
Antonio: Time for a reunion and an announcement.
Sloan: You tell Holt, I'll tell Boden.

Antonio heads towards Holt's office and knocks.
Holt: What can I do for you?
Antonio: There is a rumor going around that the first floor is under construction for doctors to use in the future.
Holt: That's true, I'm gonna get Lansing up here to help make the announcement.
Holt calls Lansing.
Lansing: What's going on, Raymond.
Holt: Have you heard about medical personnel on the 1st floor.
Lansing: The first I'm hearing of it, why?
Holt: It came to my attention today.
Lansing: I'll be up in a minute.

Everyone turns around.
Lansing: The first floor is gonna be under construction for medical personnel.

Jake: Something could be going on. My feelings for Amy are stronger.
Charles: Finally.
Erin: You two can get together.
Jake: But this medical rumor might be a problem.
Erin: Did you just say medical?
Jake: I did.
Terry: Captain wants everyone in the briefing room.
Everyone goes to the briefing room.
Holt: OK, some changes will be made here effective immediately, the 1st floor will be closed for renovations to a new medical floor for doctors to work.
Lansing: Fire department has been warned already.
Jake: We're gonna be stronger now.
Charles: Exactly.
Jay: Gonna have more check-ins as well.
Lansing: Better believe it.
Holt: This also means that we have new responsibilities.
Lansing: We will now have medical duties added to our duties as cops and firefighters.
Holt: Also Scott Rice begins work with the fire department today.
Lansing: All of you are to be welcoming to him.
Jake: Got it, Captain.
Holt: Dismissed. Peralta, my office.
Jake follows Holt and Lansing into Holt's office.
Holt: I don't want anyone else to hear this. Tell him, Lansing.
Lansing: Medical division will include a lot of good people, but we don't want Boyle or Lindsay to hear this at all, they ship you and Amy, right?
Jake: I have feelings for her myself.
Lansing: Well, Natalie Manning is one of the doctors. You can tell Lindsay that. Not Boyle however.
Jake: She will be in the way of me and Amy, probably still sad aboout Jeff.
Lansing: I know you are.
Holt: Well, you and Santiago will have your relationship on the line because of her.
Jake: I have to tell Erin fast.
Holt: Dismissed.
Lansing: Lindsay, a word.
Erin follows Jake and Lansing.
Erin: I heard about the medical rumor, is it true?
Jake: It is, also, we got some more news for you.
Lansing: Natalie Manning's in the medical division that will be joining us soon.
Erin: Well, well, well, coming face-to-face with the past.
Lansing: Everyone wants some food, go on a food run, Jake, I'll tell Holt, keep your radio on.
Jake: I will.

3rd floor
Severide: OK, just spoke to Peralta, he's going on a food run, then he and I will be going to Med, meeting up with some old friends.
Rice: Well, didn't know he had a old friend at Med.
Severide: Well, he does, Scott, wonder who said friend is. Capp, you're acting lieutenant.
Capp: Got it.
On the food run
Severide (on phone): I'll meet you at Methodist and check in with our old friends.
Jake: Got it, thanks, Kelly.
Woman: Jake Peralta?
Jake: Nat.
Natalie: That's me. How have you been?
Jake: Amazing.
Natalie: You may have hear that Jeff died, your unit has been so supporting.
Jake: So sad, end of an era.
Natalie: You and I also had some good times ourselves.

Jake: I gotta meet a friend of mine at the hospital.
