This will be my SECOND story in my S.F chronicles series and I am seriously pumped for this one, because I am completely going off the rail from the cannon here which begs the question, does Beacon give Spring and Summer breaks or even celebrate holidays like Halloween, Easter or Christmas?

Chapter 1 Teachers and students
(Emerald forest, with Eric, Ivan and Team RWBY, near the area where Ozpin put the relics in RWBY cannon, the day before Halloween)
Ivan asked Ozpin is Eric could give a lesson to Team RWBY, Ozpin agreed so Ivan took his team and Eric to the Emerald forest for some personal training, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang circled around Eric who had a blindfold over his eyes while Ivan and Volf watched from a nearby seating position on a rock
"Now…ladies to land a hit on me you'll not only have to work together but you'll also have to be one with the flow of your own body…and get very, very lucky" Eric said
"You can't say he's not lacking in the confidence department" Blake said
"More like overconfident, you might have overwhelmed us in the initiation test, but this will be different" Weiss added
"Is that so" Eric asked
"Come on girls, he's all ours" Yang told her teammates
"Are you sure you wanna do this Eric, this doesn't seem fair" Ruby asked Eric
"Appreciate the concern Ruby but unnecessary, for one not all fights are guaranteed to be fair especially with an enemy and two, I'm using an old technique that one of my masters taught me, the "Swoop technique" eyesight is a bonus, not a necessity" Eric explained
"Huh" Ruby asked
"Basically Ruby, it's fighting blind, to see with more than just your eyes, it's what blind people do when they can't see their attacker, they have to FEEL it" Ivan explained as he took out a subway-like sandwich he brought with him along with a chicken leg for Volf
"REALLY…you're eating while we're training" Weiss asked
"Well, I had to skip lunch because SOMEONE was a sore loser and wouldn't let me leave until she beat me at chess" Ivan replied, Weiss now regretted she challenged him to over thirty matches of chess and only won ONCE
"Harsh" Blake muttered
"I wonder who that could have been" Yang said
"Quiet" Weiss said
"Wait" Eric said before he started sniffing something out
"Is that…is that what I think it is" Eric asked Ivan
"Yep, chicken breasts, pepperoni, lettuce, pickles, mayonnaise, turkey, cheese and for that extra kicker…your favorite" Ivan said
"Flaming chilly Doritos" Eric asked
"Bingo" Ivan answered
"Oh, low blow, now you're making ME hungry" Eric said
"Sorry boss, I only brought one" Ivan answered before taking a bit into his sandwich
"Can we just get this going, I'm ITCHING for a rematch" Yang said
"Alright, alright, keep your bra and panties on Yang…now" Eric said as he put his hands behind his back
"Hit me with your best shot" Eric said before Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang charged at him all at once only for him to jump up and hand with one hand on Yang's head and the other on Ruby's head and forced them to crash into Weiss and Blake, Ruby quickly recovered and took out Crescent rose, started shooting at Eric only for him to gracefully dodge the bullets relying on his hearing to hear the wind whistling as they flew through the air in order to avoid them
"Try something not so loud, Ruby" Eric said before she used her Semblance to move over to him for a series of slashes with her scythe only for Eric to dodge one swing after another before he jumped over Ruby, she looked behind her expecting to see him only…she didn't?
"What the" Ruby muttered
"BEHIND YOU" Yang shouted as the other three girls rushed over, Ruby looked to see Eric stand on the side of Crescent rose's blade before he kicked her away, Yang then rushed in before she and Eric started throwing fists with him while also combining her punches with her shotgun gauntlets but Eric dodged them as well before he caught both of her fists before he headbutted her away from him, she skid on the ground only for Eric to fling himself through the air and try to slam his foot down on Yang, Blake got to her and threw her out of the way and used her Semblance to escape Eric's attack, creating a medium-sized crater on the ground in result, Blake then ran at him and started a furious combo of slashes with Gamble shroud, only for Eric to dodge them before he hit her under the chin with an open palm strike sending her flying back but she used her Semblance to make a clone which propelled her into the air before shooting at Eric, he went to dodge but felt a cold sensation around his feet
"Got you now" Weiss said, she used her Dust to freeze Eric in his place before Eric quickly adapted and he moved to actually catch the bullets that Blake fired before he threw the bullets at Weiss so hard it was like they got shot out of a gun, Weiss conjured up a shield of hardened light to block them in response
"What did you think of that Ivan" Eric asked
"Well, their getting better" Ivan said before he punched the ice that he was trapped in shattering it and freeing himself before Yang and Blake both teamed up to attack Eric at the same time, he blocked and dodged attack after attack before he grabbed Blake's attacking hand and Yang's punching hand before he pulled them in a crisscross motion making both their heads collide with each other
"AAH/OH" Blake and Yang shouted before grabbing their heads
"Slowly but surely" Ivan said before Eric jumped up and temporarily defied gravity as he performed a bicycle kick to them both, staggering them back before backflipping off them, they collided into a piece of ruin which caused it to start to crumble
"BLAKE, YANG" Ruby yelled before Eric rushed over to them and caught the falling ruin
"You two okay" Eric asked
"Yeah, thanks" Yang replied as the two got out of the way before Eric threw the ruin away
"He's fast, strong and skilled" Blake said
"Then let's step up our performance" Weiss said before she rushed in with her propulsion glyph before trying to stab him, Eric once again, dodged before he used his two, left, pointer fingers to grab the tip of her Rapier sword, she tried to snatch it away from him but he held on tight before Yang came in and tried punch him while he was distracted but using his right arm to block her assault before he put her arm into a pressure lock
"AAH, AAH" Yang grunted in pain before Weiss put a hand over her mouth, silencing her, Eric's smile dropped a little when things got silent, Weiss then put her left finger to her lips indicating that she wanted Yang to be quiet which she did with her right finger with a smile, thinking them both got the drop on Eric before Yang raised her right knee only for Eric to flip backwards take the two with him before he heard incoming projectiles, he then performed several backflips to avoid them before Ruby came in swinging again only for Eric to try something new, he soon stood on the tips of his right toes before hold out his arms in a mantic-like motion before he seemingly moved like a reed in the wind before he leaned back and as Ruby was about to attack he slingshot his upper body forward and struck her in the chest with his forehead, sending her flying back
"What the…WHAT WAS THAT" Ruby asked before Weiss, Blake and Yang all attacked together to try and overwhelm Eric but just as he did with two attacking foes, he did with three before Ruby sprinted around him to try and surprise him only for Eric to hit Yang with an open palm strike to her stomach, staggering her back, grab Weiss's attacking arm with his right hand, hit Blake with a left, rising knee to her chin and then jumped up and hit Ruby in the face with both his feet before he disarmed Weiss and tossed her over his right shoulder, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang grunted in pain form his powerful hits
"OOOH, that hurt just to WATCH" Ivan said, Volf barked in agreement
"Yeah well…it hurt to FEEL" Ruby grunted, rubbing her face
"Alright girls, I think that'll be enough for today, you all did great, nice workout" Eric said
"Workout he says" Weiss said as team RWBY got to their feet
"This "Swoop technique" is certainly formidable" Blake said
"Yeah, when are you gonna teach us something like that Ivan" Yang asked her team leader
"You're talking to the wrong guy Eric is an absolute master when it comes to hand to hand combat" Ivan answered
"Just remember, don't underestimate an opponent because their handicap, they are merciless and just as graceful as, WHOA" Eric shouted as he accidentally tripped on a rock and fell backwards, Yang and Ruby laughed as Blake and Weiss snickered
"Whew" Eric said as he flipped back to his feet and took off his blindfold
"You beat us all without getting so much as a scratch even caught my bullets and you…trip on a rock" Blake asked
"Hey, nobody's perfect Blake" Eric said
"By the way girls, your teamwork is improving KEEP working on it" Ivan told them
"Now, let's get something to eat because I am HUNGRY" Eric said
"By the way, what was that…um…move you hit me with" Ruby asked Eric
"Another of my techniques taught to me by masters all around Remnant, the "Viper maneuver" Eric answered
"How does it work, exactly" Weiss asked
"Simple really, once you know how it's done…you relax your spinal column, making it as flexible as a reed in order for your body to maneuver around physical attacks and luring your opponent as they continue to attack and become angry in the process when that happens, you automatically re-harden your spinal column and STRIKE" Eric explained
"A very impressive technique" Blake said
"Yeah, think you can teach me that" Ruby asked
"I think Eric would probably say "trade secret" girls you have to understand the people that Eric learned under were true, masters in their fields and they don't just take ANYONE to teach, you first have to show your true dedication" Ivan answered
"What about someone with a lineage like mine" Weiss asked
"Not even that Weiss, they judge not by lineage but by reason" Eric answered
"Reason" The girls asked
"The REASON why you want them to teach you, those who they teach are given great power but they need to have a good reason to WHY you want to grow stronger, they don't teach someone who wants the power simply to feel powerful, to use for their own selfish desires or to oppress others, they only teach if you don't WANT the power they can teacher you" Eric explained
"Um…now I'm even more confused" Yang said
"Yeah, that makes no sense" Ruby said
"They give power to those who…don't WANT power" Weiss asked, the three girls then looked to Blake who would normally know old sayings like that
"Don't look at me I'm stumped" Blake said
"Simply…I didn't want power…I wanted to protect those I cared for, to dedicate myself to something greater than myself…to my calling…to protect those in need and vanquish evil…that's my calling, what calls to you four to take up being Huntresses" Eric asked the girls, leaving them pause for thought
(Beacon, training gym)
Corypheus and his apprentice, Jaune Arc were training in the gym alongside Pyrrha, Nora and Ren, Jaune knew that Corypheus was a man of his word and he said that the training to become a Warden would be hard, for the year and a half since he became the Warden's apprentice but this was another level, Pyrrha was running on the treadmill, Nora was lifting weights and Ren was punching the punching bag
"Come on Jaune, your almost there, twenty more" Corypheus told Jaune as he was doing pull ups, Jaune had been going through a small portion of the physical training of a Warden, every day since he started he's been doing 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 squats, 100 pull ups, a 10-kilometer run all while wearing training weights on each limb, each weighing 20 pounds (Yes, I know the 100 everything is a reference to One punch man's training regime but don't worry, Jaune won't be OP, trust me I know what I'm doing) Jaune was pushed to physical limits and his body was soon getting use to the intensity of his physical training but other than that Jaune has spent around 5 hours each day meditating with Corypheus, trying to expand his mind as well as his body, after twenty more pull ups Jaune completed his routine, physical training
"Alright" Corypheus said as Jaune dropped, feeling the weights on his forearms and calves, breathing heavily after the usual intense workout
"What's…next" Jaune asked as he continued breathing heavily
"Your determination is growing, take em off" Corypheus said, Jaune then took the weights off, with the drop of weight it felt better
"Time for your sword and shield practice" Corypheus said as he stepped into a sparring ring and took a practice sword while Jaune took a practice sword and shield
"Remember what I taught you, a Warden's weapons can be used for things they never were invented for, such as your shield and sword" Corypheus said before they started sparring while they spared Pyrrha and Nora talked while they continued to workout
"I gotta admit, Pyrrha, Jaune is coming along REALLY well" Nora told Pyrrha as they watched Corypheus and Jaune spar, she noticed that Jaune was being unorthodox in his attacks, using sword for defense and his shield for offense, it was like all this time he trained with his Warden master, he was being changed into a different person
"Yeah…he sure is" Pyrrha said, Nora noticed a look on her friend and teammates face, she then rested her weights on the bars before seating up
"Oh, I see what's going on here" Nora said
"What's going on" Ren's voice asked as he walked over to the two girls before Pyrrha stopped the treadmill
"Isn't it obvious, Ren, that gleam in Pyrrha's eye" Nora asked Ren
"What gleam" Pyrrha asked
"Oh…I THINK I see it" Ren said
"What GLEAM" Pyrrha asked
"I think the star of Mistral is starting to develop SOMETHING for the Warden's ward" Nora said
"I…don't follow" Pyrrha said
"Nora is suggesting that you are starting to develop romantic feelings for Jaune" Ren explained, Pyrrha blushed a bit
"YES" Nora said
"Wh-what, n-no, I'm just…impressed at his improvement over the past months, he's really learned a lot from our team leader" Pyrrha said before she and the other two watched the sparring match between student and teacher as Jaune spilled under Corypheus's sword and disarmed him before he bashed him with his shield, making Corypheus do a backflip, Jaune dropped his shield and grabbed the sword he disarmed from his teacher and pointed the two swords at Corypheus
"Honestly, he IS" Ren said as Corypheus got to his feet
"Well done, Jaune you're learning fast and I must admit, faster than I did when I was your age" Corypheus told his student
"Really" Jaune asked before dropping the swords
"Indeed, you are" Corypheus replied
"HELL YES" Nora shouted as she, Pyrrha and Ren walked over to him and their team leader
"Now…if only I could unlock my Semblance" Jaune muttered
"Who needs one" Corypheus asked
"Well, just about everyone here, even Marcus has TWO" Nora said
"Nora, don't be rude, Jaune just…hasn't discovered his yet" Pyrrha said
"But, just in case he doesn't it's not the end of the world…I'll let you all in on a little secret…Eric doesn't have one a Semblance either" Corypheus said
"WHAT" Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora and Ren asked in shock
"Um…your pulling our legs, aren't you master" Jaune asked
"Surely this must be a joke" Ren added
"Now after all the months you four have known me, do you REALLY think that I would be the type to be pulling someone's leg" Corypheus asked
"Now that you mention it" Nora was about to say
"No" Pyrrha said
"But…Eric is SO STRONG, he beat the snot out of each of the new students all by himself how can he NOT have a Semblance" Jaune asked
"You don't need a Semblance to be strong Jaune, not everyone in the world has them, it's rare but it isn't unheard of, Eric, in my mind is without a shadow of a doubt the STRONGEST member of the S.F team and all without a Semblance" Corypheus explained
"But what is the secret to his staggering power, his strength, his speed his mastery of the martial arts" Ren asked
"Yeah, spill the beans" Nora added
"Simple…he trained, while he couldn't use a Semblance, he had to use something else" Corypheus said
"His brains and his skills" Pyrrha said
"Precisely, Pyrrha through perseverance, hard work and the will to never give up and to push himself beyond his limits, Eric reached a strength greater than even some of the strongest Semblances around…Eric could potentially be even stronger than Ozpin" Corypheus said
"MIND…BLOWN" Nora said
"Speaking of martial arts, Jaune, have you been practicing your Lightning cutting roaring fist" Corypheus asked
"Yeah" Jaune answered
"Then would you care to demonstrate on the punching machine" Corypheus asked, Jaune nodded before stepping up to a machine that measures the P.S.I of punches, Jaune then breathed in and out before he positioned his left leg forward and then his right leg backwards, he held out his left fist in an open palm motion and reeled his right fiat back like he was preparing to punch
*Come on Jaune…you got this* Pyrrha said in her head
*Focus your Chi into your palm…hold it, make it move at a rapid rate* Jaune said in his mind, remembering the words from the scroll that Eric gave him, he moved his life energy or Chi into his right fist and forced it to rapid vibrate before a sensation came around the room
"I LOVE this part" Nora told Ren before Jaune's right fist suddenly started crackling as lightning
*Intensify* Jaune said in his mind before his WHOLE hand was engulfed in a cracking sphere of lightning which made this chirping-like sound, like the first time he used it
"Excellent form Jaune" Corypheus said
"HEEYAAH" Jaune shouted as he punched the punching machine with his right, electric fist upon punching the machine it was destroyed with such incredible power
"WHEW" Nora yelled
"Incredible" Pyrrha muttered
*Hmm, I wonder if I can convince Jaune to teach me how to do that* Ren asked in his mind
"How was that master" Jaune asked Corypheus
"I see you've been studying hard, Eric would be proud, as am I, but I think that will be enough training for today, will you four be going out this upcoming Halloween" Corypheus asked
"He's right we planned with the others to go out for trick-or-treating" Nora said
"Yes, I think some time off would do great for us" Ren added
"Will you be coming with us, there's always room for more master" Jaune asked Corypheus
"Tempting but no thank you, you four just enjoy and be cautious out there, on Halloween, the barrier between this world and the other are weakened where ghosts, spirits and monsters roam our world" Corypheus warned
"I thought they already did" Pyrrha said, referring to the Grimm that wander Remnant
"Very witty, young lady, just enjoy yourselves" Corypheus replied before he walked away
(Later that day, Beacon academy break room) (I don't know if they have one in cannon, but they do here)
Teams RWBY, JNPR, GOLD, PLTM and REED were hanging out in the break room where a bunch of things like a couple of pin ball machines, soda machines, pool table, Air hockey table and a bunch of other thing like bean bag chairs, huge TV, really any of the students could use it, Ruby and Yang were playing "Ninja tournament" on the huge TV, Weiss, Ren and Thaddeus was working on some school work, Blake was reading a book, Jaune was studying the scroll that Eric gave him, Pyrrha was and Nora were playing on a pin ball machine, Gab was laying on a spot on the floor, sketching the others, Orenstein was playing darts with Lala, Donna was playing cards with Damom, Percy was cleaning his riffle Bianca, Ryu and Lance were shooting pool, Mar was playing a game on a Nintendo switch, Edna was going through a magazine, Ezio was strumming on his guitar
"So, what are you guys gonna dress up for Halloween, tomorrow" Mar asked
"YOU BET" Ruby and Yang said at the same time, without looking away rom the video game screen
"Um, aren't we a little TOO old for such a thing" Percy asked
"Come on bro, you used to like dressing up as Deadshot when we were younger" Lance said
"Key words "when we were YOUNG" brother" Percy replied
"Yeah…but wasn't it fun" Lance asked before taking a difficult shot on the pool table and made it, winning the game
"WHAT THE" Ryu said
"Oh yeah" Lance said
"How could you have made that shot" Ryu asked Lance
"Don't feel so bad Ryu, while you were hanging out with sword masters…I played a lot of pool" Lance said
"Double or nothing" Ryu said, setting the balls up again
"If you say so" Lance replied
"Point is little brother I know when to grow up" Percy said
"He's right you know" Weiss said
"Oh, don't be a party pooper, Weiss, dressing up is ALWAYS FUN" Edna said
"I have more important things to do" Weiss said
"HA" Yang yelled as she had won the battle on "Ninja tournament"
"NOOOOO" Ruby said
"THAT'S RIGHT, UH-HU, YANG'S AWESOME" Yang said as she did a little "victory dance"
"You know our deal sis" Yang told Ruby
"Fine, FINE, thirty percent of my candy will be given to you" Ruby said in a disappointed voice
"What about you Damom, you planning on trick-or-treating" Donna asked
"Yeah, every year me and Edna go out as a due of candy collectors" Damom answered
"Oh yeah, what did you dress up as" Orenstein asked from across the room
"Well, one year I was Joker, she was Harley Quinn, and another I was Solid snake she was Quiet" Damom answered
"And THIS year I'm gonna be Emily Kaldwin and he's gonna be Corvo Attano" Edna said
"Cool" Lala said before she lost her dart game to Orenstein
"No fair, you won while my back was turned" Lala told Orenstein
"I had you two moves ago" Orenstein
"Did not" Lala replied
"Did to" Orenstein replied
"I for one look forward to Halloween tomorrow" Thaddeus said
"That so" Pyrrha asked
"Yes, me and my father would go out every Halloween, it was one of the few times when his busy schedule was free" Thaddeus answered
"But shouldn't you be studying like I am your grades might start slipping" Weiss asked Thaddeus
"Weiss, we've been busting our asses with studies this semester so far, ONE night off isn't gonna hurt, NO-NO-NO-NO-NO, AAAAAAW SHIT" Mar shouted
"What's the matter" Jaune asked
"Well for one my Star cruiser was just BLOWN TO HELL, I failed to save the princess and now the Gaak empire is free to terrorize the universe and I was THIS close to getting the high score to" Mar said
"Dude, relax, it's just a video game" Ezio said
"But what is it isn't a video game, what if this is a record of a galactic war that has been going on for years, taking place in a galaxy…far, far away" Mar asked
"Mar, as far as I'm concerned, your MIND is what's far, far away" Lance said
"OOOOOOH" Ezio said
"Ouch" Thaddeus muttered
"Bet that stung worse that a scorpion sting in the gizzards" Donna said
"FINE, but when the aliens inevitably invade our world and probe your mind, Lance, don't come CRYING to me" Mar said
"You'll have to forgive me if I don't hold my breath" Lance said
"Mar, you're a mess" Blake told him
"You know, you maybe right about that…but I LOVE IT" Mar said before he reclined in his chair, Blake slightly smirked and shook her head
"Anyone else going our trick-or-treating" Lance asked
"I think I will…never turned down the chance for free candy" Jaune said
"Hell yeah, man" Lance said
"Me and Ruby are going" Yang said
"I wouldn't be too sure about that Miss Xiao Long" A familiar voice called, it was Ozpin
"Professor Ozpin" Ryu said
"Mister Midoriya, Smaug, Green, Strider, Miss Xiao Long, Belladonna, Rose and Black, if all of you would please step forward" Ozpin said, Ryu, Orenstein, Mar, Ezio, Yang, Blake, Ruby and Donna all stepped up in front Ozpin
"What's up teach" Mar asked Ozpin
"What is up, Mister Green is that if the eight of you had any plans for this Halloween break, then I am afraid you will have to reschedule for next years" Ozpin said
"Huh" Ryu, Orenstein, Mar, Ezio, Yang, Blake, Ruby and Donna asked at once
"Excuse me sir but what do you mean but what do you mean by that" Donna aske
"Miss Black, what I mean is that you eight will be keep a watch on the grounds during the Halloween break" Ozpin answered
"WHAT…y-you mean we ain't gonna be trick-or-treating" Mar asked
"It would seem so, Mister Green, it has come to my attention that you six have been falling behind in your studies" Ozpin started
"You can't be serious, sensei" Ryu said
"I AM serious Mister Midoriya, if you eight had any plans for tomorrow evening then I'm afraid that as punishment you will all be staying here over the Halloween break" Ozpin said
"NOOO, I was looking forward to getting my candy on" Mar said
"YEAH" Ruby shouted
"Damn it" Donna muttered
"I suggest that all of you find a way to deal with it and take the break time to study up hard and make sure you use the time wisely" Ozpin replied before he turned and walked away
"Told you" Weiss said
"Don't rube it in Schnee" Orenstein muttered
"I can't BELIEVE THIS" Yang said, Mar then seats on the ground with his head hung low
"Eh, sorry about that Mar" Thaddeus told his teammate
"Yeah but don't worry we'll be sure to bring you back some candy" Lance said
"If you don't eat it all that is" Percy added
"AAAAAAAW" Mar muttered
"On, suck it up, Mar" Blake told him
"Easy for you to say, you look like you haven't had a day of fun in your life, me…I…LIKE…TO…PARTY, to have fun, to go out and just be who I am…now it's ruined for this Halloween" Mar said
"You know…I think I WILL go out for Halloween this year" Weiss said
"Sure, rube it in why don't ya" Mar muttered
"That's great Weiss" Thaddeus said
"But question…what will you BE" Lance asked
"I think I have an IDEA" Nora said
"And what is that" Ren asked, Nora then started humming an ALL TOO familiar song it was "Let it go" (Hint, hint) and everyone knew who she meant
"OH NO" Weiss said
"That's PERFECT" Edna and Lala said at the same time
"No, NO, NO, NO, I am NOT dressing up as ELSA FROM FROZEN" Weiss said
"OH YES YOU ARE, you opened the door so your GOIN WITH US" Lance said before he, Nora, Lala and Edna pulled her to get an Elsa costume
"Th-THADDEUS HELP ME" Weiss begged
"Sorry Weiss, you agreed to go with us…best to look the part" Thaddeus replied with a sly smirk as she was dragged away
"HEY, IF YOU GET HER INTO THE COSTUME, I WANT PICTURES" Mar yelled before Weiss was taken out of the room, leaving the group of students laughing
"Man, I cannot IMAGINE Weiss in an Elsa costume" Percy said
"You know…it's too bad that YOU won't see me in the costume I had picked out" Yang told Percy
"Why is that" Percy asked
"I was planning on dressing up as Black canary, fish net leg stockings, biker jacket and ALL" Yang said in a flirtatious voice
"Whew, sorry bro looks like you lucked out" Lance told Percy
"So what" Percy asked
