I have recently started college. The lack of free time means that my inconsistent upload schedule is going to get even weirder for allof my stories. This is not a hiatus; I'm still going to write and upload whenever I have time, it's just that the chapters are going to take longer to complete. Very slowly, Ruby opened her silver eyes, allowing them to observe the white rose petals fluttering through the wind. She neared her mother's grave, tentatively reaching for the figure kneeling before it. Her hand snaps back as the figure rises, her eyes widening as the silver ones behind the white and gold mask look back at her, before disappearing in a flurry of petals.

Sound the alarm

Shatter me like glass

A young Yang Xiao Long runs forward through a dense and snowy forest, tears streaming from eyes as her hands reach desperately for the woman with long black hair.

Covered in scars

But roses are coming through the cracks

Weiss Schnee grasps the bars of her cage, the cold freezing them in place as she watches her surroundings slowly disappear in an ever growing blizzard.

Time that you killed

You promised to help me rebuild

Blake Belladonna glances at her red-stained hands in horror. Her head rises, watching as an inaudible, inhuman roar breaks free from Adam's throat, his body drenched in red and surrounded by bodies.

You caught me off guard

Sound the alarm

Very slowly, various red eyes blink into existence out in the vastness of space, each carefully glaring at Remnant and its shattered moon.

Said you'd keep me safe

Now you're tearing me down

Am I laid to waste

Now that you're not around

Ozpin takes a seat behind his desk and sighs. Behind him, two bright lights, one yellow and the other purple, begin to slowly dim until the room fades to black

Beacon Academy is silent as black clouds pass overhead, dimming the sun until its bright light cannot pass through.

Fight the pain away

My head is ruins

Need you in my veins

Don't know how you do it

The sky shatters, and an onslaught of Grimm from Dreamland and Remnant fall down, setting the castle and city in flames. Team RWBY pushes back against the monsters, destroying as many as they can, only to be overwhelmed and surrounded. Suddenly, a silver light emerges from the center, and black monsters are destroyed instantly.

Ruby looks beyond the mass of monsters, watching a white-skinned woman standing in the center, her demonic grin threatening to split her face.

Oh, your freaking crazy, hate me, love you

Breaking bottles on the pavement

Salem is immediately overtaken by Magolor EX. Ruby rushes towards him, avoiding Chaos Elfilis' meteors, Star Dream Soul OS' lasers, and 02's energy balls. She raises her scythe, only for the floor to explode beneath her.

Just to watch it crash

Void Termina EX bursts from the ground and effortlessly catches Ruby, her vision growing darker as the titan keeps applying pressure.

Said you'd keep me safe

Now you're tearing me down

Am I laid to waste

Now that you're not around

As her vision dims and she strains against Void Termina's grip, Ruby notices a small pink light in front of her. She tries to move, only to black out moments before it could reach her. The pink light suddenly becomes blinding, and the clouds above Beacon start to waver and disappear.

Fight the pain away

Ultra Sword Kirby appears in front of Ruby and swings his sword, slicing off Void Termina's wrist and freeing Ruby. At the same time, The Battleship Halberd descends, and starts firing at the army of Grimm.

Kirby looks back at Ruby, whose silver eyes are shining brightly. With his signature smile, Kirby reaches out his hand, which Ruby gently grabs. With a determined glint in both of their eyes, they charge forward with a flash of bright light.

Kirby is sleeping on Ruby's lap. She smiles gently at the gumdrop, her hand stroking the top of head as her Team stands behind her and Meta Knight off to the side. Her silver eyes glowing, Ruby looks up at the shattered moon. A cute smile grows on Kirby's sleeping form.
