Harry Potter was sitting in his new office. He was recently named the new Head of the Auror Department, but none of that mattered now. One thing mattered, and it was in his hand. Ron and Hermione's wedding invitation. Harry used to date Hermione, but he left her for his career. He now considered it to be the biggest mistake of his life.

How do you cope when
The one you love is with somebody else
And there's nothing you could do about it
How do I deal with
The fact that you had a chance
But you chose to turn away for your career
I gotta take it though it's heartbreakin'
It's something that I had to do
But nobody said that it would hurt so bad
So how do I live...how do I deal without you

The wedding was beautiful, Harry had to admit that. Everyone from Gryffindor was there. Lavander was the wedding planner, and the photographer was none other than Colin Creevey. For the most part Harry stood in the corner and admired it all. What hurt most was how happy Hermione looked...

It's killing me to know

Money, shows, and hoes come along with luxury and pain

So I have to live it to the fullest

Harry was looking at photos in the mail, along with a letter. Hermione and Ron had their first child, Ronald Bilius Weasley Jr. They wanted Harry to be the godfather. He was glad to see Hermione living the life she always wanted, but also pained because he now wished that life was with him.

It was raining. Ron was off on a business trip, and Ron Jr. was with his grandma for the weekend. Hermione was all alone in her house, looking at old scrapbooks. Her heart almost broke in two when she saw old pictures from when her and Harry were dating. She was pulled from her thoughts in sorrow by a snowy owl. She recognized it as Harry's owl, Hedwig. Hermione grabbed the parchment and burst into tears as she read:

"Hermione-

I can't take life without you anymore. By the time you read this I will be long gone. I want you to know, I still love you.

-Harry"

The funeral was two weeks later. Harry James Potter was laid to rest next to the graves of his parents.Only Hermione knew why he had killed himself, and she carried that secret with her to the grave.
