AN: Hello! Just so everybody knows, Harry is going to be the rude one in this story. He will be more of a Malfoy than Draco! Anywho, this chapter was basically put up to show the impact Lucius had on Draco. As a father figure and a role model. This chapter is short. The next one will be longer though. That I can promise.

Draco looked around at his new room. He assumed that the movers had also put the bed in there...somehow. All of his belongings were in there and he knew that he hadn't done it all. Draco silently thanked the Gods that he didn't have to do any work. He hated work. Alot.
Back to the task at hand, though. Harry wanted to know stuff about him? Why? Maybe he had secretely formed a little crush on Draco in the little time that they knew eachother.
"Well... I'm 17." Draco said lamely.
Harry raised an eyebrow at Draco. "That's the best that you could come up with? Well. in that case, so am I. When's your birthday?"
"October 15th. Yours?"
"September 9th. Favorite food?"
"Hmm... That's a tough one. I'd have to say Spaghetti."
"Spaghetti is not on my favorites list. I love pizza though."
Raising a fine eyebrow, Draco gazed at Harry. 'Pizza? How could anyone like pizza?' Draco had to fight the urge not to laugh at Harry's unique taste in food. He had only had pizza once and when he had bit into it, grease oozed out. Draco had never eaten pizza since. Finally Harry thought of another question.
"What's your favorite sport?"
"Volleyball."
"Well I secretely love tennis, but I play basketball."
"Are you on the tennis team?"
"No. I'm on the basketball team. It's Ironic though. I hate basketball. I find the whole game ridiculous!"
Draco was confused. Harry loved tennis but wasn't on the team and yet he hates basketball but he is part of their team? It didn't make sense. Draco made a mental note to ask about it later, seeing as Harry didn't look like he wanted to continue the talking about sports.
"Hey, question. Where's your father? He lives with you, right?" Harry asked, looking around Draco's room as if his Luciuswas hiding in there. Draco frowned. He didn't think he would have to talk to anybody about it so soon. Yes it was two years ago, but he still had not gotten over the fact.
"No. He's gone." Draco said in an angry tone. He immediately stood up. After he shoved his hands in his pockets, he stared at his feet and kicked the invisible rock that lie on his floor.
Draco looked so vulnerable. His hair gently covering his eyes. He wanted to cry, and scream at Harry for asking him such a stupid question, but he stopped himself from doing either. Slowly he looked up at Harry with unshed tears shimmering in his eyes, threatening to fall.
"I...I think you should...go now." Draco's voice wavering as he said each word.
The bed made a quiet squeaking noise as Harry stood up. Draco stared at Harry who was now only a few feet away from him. Harry sighed and walked past Draco to exit the room. He turned the doorknob and walked through the door without looking back at Draco.
Once Draco heard the door click shut, he fell foward onto his bed and cried. He couldn't keep it in any longer. He needed to cry. After Lucius had died, Draco had isolated himself until Pansy had knocked some sense into him one day.
Lucius and Draco had been very close. It was a strong Father son bond that nothing could replace. His heart felt empty. He didn't have a father figure to talk to and look up to. He was the only male in the house and nobody understood how he felt at times. It was something that only men would understand just like it was the same with the women. Sure, his father could be really mean, but he was a loving father and nobody could tell him otherwise. Lucius had once told Draco that when he was older, he would show and tell Draco everything he needed to know about becoming a man and how to deal with things, but that time never came. Once Lucius had associated with Voldemort and his employees, He became too absorbed in his work to notice Draco.
They had started becoming a broken family. Without a male authority, the family had begun to do what they pleased and the children's grades had started to slip. With all the stress and pressures of sports and being a straight 'A' student, Draco had sunk into depression. He quit the volleyball team and had stopped doing his work. He failed nearly all of his tests and didn't participate in anything. Sometimes he felt so horrible, that he often skipped classes and stayed home, convincing himself that he would never get through this. Nobody, however, noticed any of this because they were always gone doing only God knows what. It all became too much for Draco and he had finally cracked.
Draco had stood at the top of his school building with a gun in his hand. He had held the gun up to his head and threatened to pull the trigger. The police had tried to stop him as some of the school kids had encouraged him to go through with it. To them, it was all a show, some publicity stunt. To Draco though, it was his way of ending all the pain and suffering he had gone through. It was Pansy who saved him. She told him of all the things he would lose and what would happen if he were to commit. He finally realized he was doing something way too drastic. He didn't want to end his life, he just wanted it to get back on track. From there on, he started seeing more of his family, but it still wasn't back to normal but he was fine with that. His grades went back to A's. The only problem after that, was his boyfriend.
Draco secretely had a boyfriend then, someone he met at the mall one day, and they met everywhere and anywhere they could, just so they could see eachother. At the time, Draco had thought it was love. Now that Draco looked back, he realized he was so stupid for not seeing the truth. He was being used. He had felt so dirty afterwards and he was devestated when he found out that his boyfriend had actually helped kill his father. That was when his boyfriend had tried to kill Draco and his family. Things hadn't gone according to his plans however, as Draco had taken his gun and ended up killing his boyfriend's father when he was ,infact, aiming for his boyfriend's head.
The quiet sobs had finally deceased and he was left with silence. Shortly after, Draco had drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
