Tsu strode down a sidewalk in the Women's Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls, New York.
"Hi there, everybody, it's Tsuyu Asui, aka 'Froppy', and I'm here to give you a few facts about women in the workplace. In 2018, women made up 48% of entry-level employees, but only 38% of managers, 34% of senior managers or directors, 29% of Vice Presidents, 23% of Senior Vice Presidents, and just 22% of C-suite executives. This means that for every 100 men promoted to manager-level roles, only 79 women were promoted to similar roles. For many years, women were denied entry into high-level professions such as law and medicine because they were denied entry into universities and were consequently unable to get degrees. Also, almost 60% of women would earn more if they were paid the same as men with equivalent levels of education and work hours. Furthermore, many women face a tax penalty when they get married, which reduces their participation in the workforce. Since 1972, the National Women's Law Center has been fighting not only for women's rights in the workplace, but also health care and reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, economic security, racial justice and child care, among other women's rights initiatives."
Criticism is gold. Negativity and nitpicking are pyrite.
