What you'll see in this chapter: Finally, the dance! Harry has a secret mission. A sick Remus, and a helpful Severus. Also, Harry and Draco slow dancing?
Dedication: oOWeasleyWizardWheezesOo because you reviewed alot of chapters, and gave me awesome compliments! Thanks! Hugs
VERY IMPORTANT: The little tilde thingy's don't work or something, so everytime it starts off in another place or time, the first word will be in bold.
Loud music poured from the doors, and seeped through the windows. The lights bounced off of the walls and onto the horde of people, bodies crushed together and moved along to the beat that played from the huge speakers. That was what Draco had seen when he entered the building. The brunette that hung on his arm had a gleam in her eyes that meant she was going to dance until she couldn't stand. She giggled excitedly as Harry's blonde date pointed at a group of guys.
The girls waved at them and in return, they guys motioned for them to come over. Harry and Cameron walked over to them, as Annabelle dragged Draco. When they had finally reached the small group, both the guys and the girls stared at Draco, girls licking their lips, and guys raising eyebrows.
Eventually, one of the guys dared to ask, "So Annabelle, who's your friend?"
The brunette giggled and pulled Draco closer to her side. "This is Draco Malfoy. He's actually Harry's friend."
All eyes turned to Harry, and that was when Ron came into the scene. "Hey guys! What's going on?" Ron's eyes drifted over to Draco, and then immediately snapped over to Harry. He glared at Harry and grabbed his wrist, pulling him over to a corner. Draco snuck over to where they were, unnoticed, he listened to their conversation.
"What the hell were you thinking? You weren't supposed to bring him here! That wasn't part of your mission!"
"Ron, I know what I'm doing. Just trust me, it'll all work out."
Ron sighed and there was silence for a few moments. "You better not get screwed over like me. It's hard to resist."
Harry smiled sadly. Ron couldn't tell, but Draco could. Something was bothering Harry, but he didn't know what. What was it they were talking about anyways? What was Harry's "mission"? Most of all, what did Draco have to do with all of it?
Harry and Ron parted, and Draco just stood there. Where was he supposed to go? He didn't know anybody other than Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Vinca. Vinca was supposedly moving away though, so he knew she wouldn't be at the dance. The blonde gasped when he felt someone hug him from behind. At first he thought it was Harry, but then noticed that the arms weren't as strong as his.
Quickly turning around, Draco looked at the intruder. His eyes went wide as he took a thorough look at the person in front of him.
What the hell happened?
Remus watched all the kids dancing, the loud music causing him a headache. He looked around and spotted Sirius, talking to one of the other teachers. She taught art and Remus could tell that Sirius was flirting with her. He kept touching her, ways he never touched Remus, and he kept looking down at her breasts. So Sirius wanted a girl? That explained a lot.
Sirius, noticing Remus staring at him, whispered something in the woman's ear, causing her to blush and nod. Sirius grabbed her hand and led her into an empty classroom. On his way there, he thought he saw Remus' eyes flash red. 'He deserves this.' Sirius thought in his head, but deep down he knew he was going to regret this.
Once Remus saw Sirius and the other teacher leave, he felt something bad was going to happen. He suddenly felt sick and his headache disappeared. He quickly put his hands over his mouth in attempt to not vomit. He had to leave right now. He ran to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet. After it stopped, he washed his face and looked at his reflection in the mirror.
"...No one would want to be your friend, let alone lover if they knew about your disease!"
Remus felt disgusted with himself. Who could love him anyways? According to Sirius, nobody. Remus saw a single tear roll down his cheek. He didn't stop it from falling, but instead, felt another wave of sadness wash over him. Soon, two more, then four, and six more tears joined the first. Eventually Remus was balling in the corner of the bathroom, when Severus came in.
The time passed slowly as Severus watched Remus cry. He didn't know what to do. He slowly walked over to the music teacher and held him. It was uncomfortable at first, having the other man clinging to his jacket and crying into his chest. He had always wanted this to happen, albeit not under the same circumstances.
With time, Remus' tears stopped and he looked up at Severus. They looked at each other for a while until Remus smiled sheepishly. "Thank you, and I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Thank you for letting me cry on you, and I'm sorry that I cried on you."
Severus gave a low chuckle and helped Remus to his feet. Remus' stomach just wasn't agreeing with him as he ran back into one of the bathroom stalls. Severus followed him in and held back his graying brown hair behind his ears, rubbing his back in what he hoped was a soothing way.
A few minutes later found Severus carrying an ill looking Remus. Severus was holding Remus around the waist, and the brunette was holding onto Severus as though his life depended on it. They walked slowly over to a corner where Severus asked if Remus wanted to go home. He gave Severus a small nod, and the black haired professor helped him out the door.
Before he got completely passed through the door, he saw Sirius, disheveled, with the art teacher hanging on his arm. Sirius was watching them and Remus knew that he was jealous, he could see it in the way he was looking at the two of them. The female teacher got Sirius' attention again by tugging on his sleeve, something Remus always used to do.
That memory brought on a new consignment of tears. Remus' grip on Severus tightened immediately and they finally made it back to Remus' house, the chemistry teacher never leaving his old schoolmate's side.
Nearly an hour later, Remus had finally persuaded Severus that he was all right, and that he needed to be alone and think. Severus left, reluctantly, and now Remus was alone to wallow in his misery. He was on his bed, and was almost asleep, when he heard his front door open and shut quietly. He quickly sat up and waited as someone walked up his stairs.
Climbing out of bed, Remus reached for something hard to hit the intruder with. He watched the knob to his room door turn and held up the wooden bat as his door opened slowly. He was about to slam the bat down when he saw a wave of silky black hair. Only one person he knew had hair like that, and that person shouldn't even be there.
The music teacher dropped the bat as Sirius smiled sheepishly at him, waving his hand a few times. "Sirius...?" Remus asked a little timidly, as though Sirius was just a mirage.
"Remus, listen, I know you hate me right now, but I think we need to talk."
There was a small silence before Remus bowed his head, and then shook it from side to side. He looked up at Sirius through his bangs and smiled bashfully. He looked just like he did when Sirius first met him, albeit a little older. He was still just as shy, just as smart, and just as controlled as he had always been. How could anyone not love Remus?
"I don't hate you, Padfoot. I never did, and never will."
Sirius took that as a sign to get closer, and he did. He pressed his mouth against Remus' in a passionate kiss. It was needy and a bit urgent, but it had everything Remus wanted. It had hope, desire, passion, but most of all, it had love. Sirius pulled back a little and looked at Remus, waiting for a reaction.
Anything. Sirius wanted any kind of reaction. He felt giddy, like it was their first kiss all over again. Any reaction was better than none. At least he wouldn't be left on the cloud of doubt that he stood on once again. He was caught off guard when Remus pulled him back in for another kiss and his heart went soaring.
Eventually, one kiss led to another, and soon, both men were shirtless. Sirius had this nagging feeling in the back of his head. Then a question popped into his mind. 'Oh, perfect time to ask questions, Sirius!' He thought to himself as he stopped Remus' gentle kisses. He looked him in the eye and said, "Remus, what about our argument?"
"Forget about it. Let's pretend it never happened."
"And about the art teacher?"
"Never happened either. Besides, I know you didn't really do anything. You chickened out at the last minute, right as she was pulling down your pants," Remus grinned up at Sirius.
Sirius had a shocked expression on his face. "H-how did you know?"
"Honestly, Padfoot. I know you better than you think."
"Well, Moony. That might be a problem."
Remus laughed and went up to kiss Sirius yet again. It was a long night full of kisses and the exchange of affectionate words. In the end, both men fell asleep together, just like they had done for so long, and for the first time in years, they both felt like they were 16 all over again.
"I love you Remus. I always will."
"I know, Sirius. I love you too."
Draco looked at Pansy, a shocked look covering his face. What happened to her? She had a very large bruise next to her eye. She tried to cover it up with her brown hair, and to any stranger she would look completely normal, but Draco wasn't a stranger. She had a small cut on her bottom lip, and had a bruise on her neck that she tried to cover up with makeup.
There was an awkward silence between them. Draco didn't know what to say, but somehow he already knew who had done it. It was Pansy's father. He was always violent, but Pansy always did what he said, just so he wouldn't hurt her.
"I'll tell you about it later. Besides, I want to know all about you and Potty's little kiss. So spill!"
Draco tried to suppress a grin. No matter what happened to Pansy, she just couldn't stop being so...Pansy! "Oh Pans! It was absolutely wonderful! I could kiss him forever and ever!" Draco said in a high voice as he placed his hands over his heart. Pansy rolled her eyes.
"Seriously Drake, what was it like?"
"Honestly? It was fantastic. It was everything I wanted. It felt nothing like Ron's kisses. His were sloppy and urgent, while Harry's was sweet and gentle. I seriously could kiss him forever and ever. Goodness Pans, It was like I was melting! I couldn't stand and I saw stars afterwards." Draco touched his lips with his middle and index finger while he smiled, remembering the kiss.
"So, how many times have you kissed?"
"Once. All the other times were interrupted, but after, he just stopped trying. I don't think he likes me anymore."
It was quiet for a while, as Draco contemplated why Harry wouldn't like him. Pansy was about to say something when Harry stepped in. He smiled at Pansy, and then Draco. Draco looked slightly shocked, but didn't say anything.
"Hello Draco. I was wondering if I could talk to you outside?"
Draco nodded dumbly as Harry grabbed his arm and led him outside. While he was walking, he turned his head to see Pansy smiling at him and giving him a thumb up. Once Harry and Draco were outside, Harry looked around to make sure nobody was around, and wrapped his arms around Draco's waist. Draco gasped quietly when Harry pulled him close and started slow dancing with him. Draco finally noticed the slow tune that was playing inside.
Sighing contently, Draco rested his head on Harry's chest. He felt safe, secure, and most of all, loved. It amazed him how Harry could make him feel so much, just by holding him. He closed his eyes when Harry started talking.
"Draco, I wanted to ask you how you felt about me and you being...together. I mean, like, holding and stuff, but not in public."
"You mean you want to keep this a secret?"
"Exactly. Are you alright with that?" Harry questioned, feeling a little insecure at the moment.
"Only if you promise that our relationship wont be a secret forever. You have to promise that some day, we'll be able to do this all freely."
It took Harry a while to respond, but when he did, it was an answer that made Draco want to jump with joy. Draco lifted his head up to look at Harry. They kissed, and it was sweet and gentle, just like Draco remembered. Soon it turned more passionate, and Draco parted his lips, letting Harry's tongue slip in to explore. This was heaven to Draco, and nothing could bring him down now. He was on top of the world, with Harry right next to him.
"One day very soon, we'll tell everyone. I promise."
AN: Not much to say. Nobody reads this anyways because I'm so boring! I'm sorry. Hope you enjoyed it. More kisses coming up!
Teaser:
"But how could I stay away from you, for so long? Your beauty is what draws me near!"
Draco walked towards the girl in front of him and grabbed her around the waist, turning her to face him. He slowly leaned his head down and kissed her. It felt unusual and different, unlike Harry's, but he knew he had to do it.
Responses to reviewers:
Yana5: Don't worry! You can thank your fellow readers for their get together. Either way though, I don't think I would let them go on without each other. That's just torture to them! Thank you! MustIBeAMalfoy: Lol, you were the first person to pick that one, but you certainly weren't the last! Don't worry about the whole MSN dilemma. I understand, I do that too sometimes. Like,my parents will tell me to get off, or my computer freezes. I don't know if I ever got around to telling you my new story. I read yours. It was mucho awesome! My new story should be out there in a day or so..I might put it out after this one! I like the title of your story, did I tell you that? It's so purty! Thank you!
anime-girl05: You and another person were the only two who wanted that choice. They are adorable together! I know Sirius was mean to Remmie, but he's nice now! Thank you!
Alyanah: Hello! I'm good, how are you? Lol, Harry's a disappointment? True... Harry's kind of like...a roaler coaster. One second he's mean, and the next he's nice. shrugs The movie was awesome. I wish I could show you all, but sadly I can't. I was gonna show my friends who live nearby, but my mom trashed it. sob Lol, alot of people said something along the same lines about the Siri and Remmie scene. joins you in the hugging of Remmie Thank you for your concern, it makes me happy. I am doing a little better. Thank you very much!
lolo: Alot of people liked the Remmie/Siri part of the story. That's really the only thing they reviewed about. Thank you!
oOWeasleyWizardWheezesOo: Haha cool name! Wow, thanks! That's a really awesome compliment! I LOVED that chapter in the story! It was so funny! Poor Sev! I agree completely. Siri is mucho hot and when you put him with Remmie, they're just....BAH!!!BOOM!!!CHANG!!! Yeah...Something like that. I've heard that my fanfic is the best one people have read, and then I think to myself, "Man, these people don't read much fanfiction, do they?" Lol Thanks for all your wonderful compliments, you rock too! And how did you know I was a band geek? Haha
honighase: Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but your name is kinda...funky. I couldn't pronounce it...or type it... Lol, alot of people chose that. It's true that they shouldn't be without each other at all, but like you said, where would be the fun in that? XP
...: Thank you!
Phase3: Did you know my dad is a DJ and his Alias thingy id Inerphase? Your name reminded me of that... Anywho, Thanks! You aren't sick minded, either, because then we all would be! I'm probably lazier than you! Haha. Did you know, that I DO the thingy, but it doesn't show up sometimes. I edited the last chapter a whole grip load of times, but it came out the same! That's why I tried to do the italics for the dream scene, but I dunno. I do write that in though, it's just a long process and all. Something goes wrong I guess. Thank you!
crazy-lil-nae-nae: Lol! I like your idea! I should have made that one of the choices, eh? I like being hyper...sometimes...except, it sucks that I'm allergic to caffeine, so I get bruises all the time... And I don't like Diet Coke. It leaves a bad after taste in my mouth, but that's just me. I know loads of people who love it. Thank you!
Please Review! I'll give you a party hat!
