Draco couldn't sleep very well that night. What he didn't want to happen, was. All he could think about was Harry. Even when he ate, thoughts about Harry ran through his mind. In a sense, it annoyed him, but it also brought him comfort. Of course, he didn't really mind thinking about Harry. The only problem, was that these were, in his mothers terms, the symptoms of love.

It wasn't a good thing. The last time he had thought he had fallen in love, everything turned out sour in the end. This was the very thing that Pansy told him not to do, and yet here he was, practically running around screaming "I love Harry! I love Harry!"

It took a few hours until Pansy woke up. When she did, she stretched out her limbs, since they hadn't been used for a good chunk of time. Glancing up at the blonde who was sitting in the bed next to her, she smiled. It had been a while since they had slept in the same bed. They had both been growing, and it felt more awkward. Now it just felt normal.

"Morning." Draco whispered.

"Mm...G'night." Pansy mumbled and closed her eyes, head falling back onto the pillow. Draco just sat there, smiling at her. After a few minutes of doing nothing, he hopped off the bed, only in his pajama bottoms. He crossed his room over to his balcony. Placing his long fingers on the handle, he slowly opened the glass door, the sudden burst of wind shilling his bare chest.

The sky was a light blue, the sun facing the opposite way he was. The lonely willow tree caught his attetnion. It seemed so sad, all by itself. The droopy leaves skimming over the water in the small pond that occupied the area. When Draco looked closer, he could see a few fish swimming in the water.

The blonde boy sat on the cold stone that made up the balcony, drawing his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them. t provided him with a little more heat than he had. He started thinking about Harry again. Harry had affected his life in so many ways. He felt...Happy again. Ever since his father died, all he felt was empty and lonely.

Everyone always saw him moping around the house, eyes always downcast. Now, he was hardly ever home. Always out gone with Harry, or if he was home, he was in his room, most likely with Harry. They'd grown closer as friends, but the romantic aspect of their relationship hadn't changed much. They didn't kiss alot, they held hands only when they were around the gang, and they only hugged when they were completely alone.

Draco let out a long sigh. Now would be a good time for some advice. But there was no one around who could give him the information he needed. Unless...

Knock.

Knock.

Knock.

A muffled "coming!" followed by bouts of laughter came from the other side of the door. Draco waited, tapping his foot impatiently on the cememnt porch. A few moments later, Remus opened the door, a huge grin on his face. Draco stared wide-eyed at the professor, clearly not expecting him to answer the door of his "Uncle Siri."

The music professor coughed quietly and looked down at Draco, cheeks flushed a little. "Hello Mr. Malfoy." He said as he scratched his head, looking anywhere but the blonde boy. Finally Sirius came out from behind Remus, a broad smile painting his face.

"Drakie! What are you doing here? Come in! Come in!" Sirius moved away from the door, letting Draco inside the cosy little house. He looked around, examining the house. This was the first time he had ever been inside Sirius' house.

There were pictures placed here and there, most of them were of Sirius in younger times. The majority of the pictures had Remus and two or three other people. Draco looked at one in particular. Sirius had his arm around Remus' shoulders. They were both smiling at the camera. Next to them was a smaller boy who was looking at the two. The last two people were very familiar. It was Harry's parents. Lily and James. Everyone in the picture was younger. That one boy in the middle however, stood out to Draco. He couldn't recognize the small boy.

"Siri, who is that?"

"Peter Pettigrew. He...Used to be our friend." Sirius' tone dropped considerably. Remus grabbed one of Sirius' hands and held it in his own, obviously trying to calm the other man down.

"Oh." Was all that came out of Draco's mouth. He decided to look at a few more pictures and gasped when he saw one in particular.

It was a picture of a small blonde boy who was holding a ball. Next to him was Sirius who was giving a peace sign to the photographer. The last person in the picture was a little girl who was holding a doll in her arms. She was looking down at the floor, seeming camera-shy.

"Siri, is that--"

"Your parents?" Draco gave a slow nod. "Yeah. We all used to be friends. Bellatrix was supposed to be in that picture too, but she didn't want to have her picture taken. We were all six then. I think....yeah, that was taken only a few days after they met. Weren't they just so adorable?" Sirius pinched Draco's cheek quickly before he walked into the kitchen, claiming that he was going to get som hot cocoa.

Draco and Remus stood there uncomfortably, until they both decided that they should sit in the living room. The walls were a burgundy color and there was a small fireplace by the entertainment center. A small coffee table occupied the center of the room, and two plush coushes were settled around it.

Remus was the first to speak.

"So, did you need advice or something?"

The blonde boy gaped at his professor. How did he know? Remus smiled at Draco. "You're just like your father, Draco." Said boy just continued to stare at Remus. The professor took this as a sign to continue.

"Nobody know's this, well, except for Severus, but your father and I used to be good friends. We were both the smartest kids in the school. One day, your father came up to me, and asked if I could help him with Algebra. I was skeptical at first, I mean, your father wasn't known for his kindness. I helped him though. He called a truce, and we hung out every week. He passed his math classes and I made another friend. He was a good guy. And then...We lost touch. I didn't even know he got married to your mother. I recieved an invitation, but I was in the process of moving...and the rest is history."

Draco hadn't even noticed when he leaned in close to his teacher, mouth wide open. "Wow. But, how could you tell what I came here for?"

"Oh. I suppose I forgot that. Yes, well, being around Lucius alot, I got used to knowing what his intentions were. I can read people quite well. You both got this gleam in your eye's and you suck in your bottom lip just barely."

Once again, mouth agape, Draco stared at Remus. He smiled and closed Draco's mouth with one hand.

"Alright. Lets see, the only advice I can give you is that you shouldn't be afraid of accepting help from other people. Oh, and don't forget about the daggers in the white box. Five, four, three, two..."

"Remus," Sirius shouted from the kitchen, "there's no more hot cocoa!!"

Both Malfoy and Lupin burst out into laughter. Sirius walked into the living room looking unkempt, and confused. "What's so funny?" He questioned. The other two males just continued on with their laughter. Draco finally decided that it was time he left, despite the protests coming from Sirius. He hugged both of them, much to Remus' surprise.

An hour later found Remus and Sirius at the super market, Remus pushing a cart full of food, Sirius throwing whatever he thought looked good, into said cart. Remus sighed. Turning his attention from the box of instant pudding to his lover, Sirius asked what was wrong.

"I was just thinking."

"About what?"

Remus shook his head slightly and gave Sirius a sad smile. "I was just wondering why you would even think about sleeping with someone else." He said quietly.

The black-haired man turned his eyes downcast. Shifting his weight from one leg to the other, he spoke:

"I was trying to get you jealous. I guess, I thought if you saw me with someone else, you'd come back to me. It worked out the other way though. I didn't mean to hurt you, love. Honest. I'm sorry."

Remus walked over to Sirius and kissed him softly on the lips. It was a quick kiss, but it meant alot. They continued shopping for awhile. Remus was turning the corner of the isle when--

CRASH

Remus's cart had collided with another's. Remus fell backwards into Sirius, who fell onto the floor. It was a chain reaction. When Sirius and Remus fell, they knocked over a pyramid of canned food, which rolled over and knocked down a tower of toilet paper. In turn, an older lady stepped on the bathroom tissue, sliding and hitting an employee in the face. The employee threw some foreign gadget in the air, breaking the glass in the frozen foods section.

Everyone stared at the shattered glass. Sirius tried to hold in his laughter as he thought about what just happened. Suddenly he felt Remus' weight being lifted off of him and looked up to see a tall greasy-haired man holding Remus up and dusting off his back.

"I'm so sorry Remus! I didn't see where I was going! Are you alright?" Severus looked Remus straight in the eye and the professor nodded as a faint blush appeared on his face. Severus slowly pulled the other man into a hug and held him there for a few seconds before spotting Sirius, glaring at him.

"Severus, quite touching my boyfriend." Sirius had an aggrivated tone that even made Remus shiver.

"It's your fault the man got sick in the first place."

Sirius' eyes widened in slight shock. remus had been sick and never told him?

"That's what I thought," Severus said as he walked away from the duo, his cart being pushed infront of him.

"Sirius, we need to talk."

Draco returned home to find the house empty. He went upstairs to his bedroom, finding a note on his bed. He picked it up and quickly read it.

Dray

Me, Narcie and Nelly went shopping. We'll be back in a few hours.

Have fun and Narcie says don't break anything!

Pansy

So basically, Pansy somehow managed to get Penelope, and his mother to go shopping with her. Great. Now he was all alone and had nothing to do for, at the most, five hours. Draco lay on his bed, thinking about what Remus had said. Don't be afraid of taking other people's help? And something about daggers in a white box? What did it mean?

After a few minutes of thinking, the phone rang. Draco picked the phone and decided whether or not he should answer it. Finally deciding yes, he clicked the talk button.

"Malfoy Residence."

"Hi is Draco there?"

"Speaking."

"Hey Draco! It's George."

Draco's pulse started pumping slightly. It was George Weasley, calling him. George was the first Weasley that Draco had ever had a crush on. It was small, but it was still his first.

"Oh, hello George."

"Hey, I was wondering, did you have a date for the party tonight?"

Draco thought for awhile. Did he have a date for the party? Technically, no. But then again, he and Harry were secretly together. Wouldn't that be like cheating? 'But Harry's going with someone else, why can't you?' A small voice in his head answered. It was right. Harry could go with someone else, why shouldn't he?

"No."

"Do you...Want to go with me?"

There was a short pause.

"I'd love to."

"Great, I'll go get you at about...8 o' clock?"

"Sure."

"Awesome! Bye Draco!"

Draco hung up the phone quietly. What if that was the wrong thing to do? What if George asked him out on another date? What would Harry say? Hopefully this would teach Harry a lesson. Maybe now he'll start paying more attention to Draco. This could be a good thing! But then again, it could go completely wrong.

Draco had a bad feeling about this.

Teaser:

Everyone was dancing to the music, when a sudden high pitched shrill came from the garage. Everything stopped, and when another scream came, everyone rushed over to the garage door. It burst open as Harry's blonde date came running out. She ran over to Harry and wrapped her arms around him as she sobbed into his shirt.

"It was horrible! It was some...Thing! It had red eyes! It face was...was...all burnt and shriveled looking!"

Harry and Ron's head both snapped to look at each other, eyes wide with recognition.

Responses to Reviewers:

Yana5: Draco much appreciates your concern!

RavenDeath7: I'm sorry it takes so long. I usually have lots of issues. Sometimes even responding to the reviews takes just as long as typing the chapter! Thank you!

Rena: He gets that alot. I think Draco tries to, after all he does let Harry do alot of things that most people wouldn't, but he doesn't like being ignored.

oOWeasleyWizardWheezesOo: I think anything past four hours of marching is alot. Heehee...I never really got sunburnt, but then again, I always soaked my body in sunscreen everyday... Yeah. I thought the Rem/Siri/Sev thing was really complex, but now, I realized it wasn't. I'll elaborate more on them in a few chapters or so.Wow. I'm starting to feel sorry for poor Harry. Yeah...We have a popular crowd, and the funny thing is, I am friends with them, and yet I'm not popular or anything. Not that I want to be. I'm perfectly fine being a band geek! Thank you!

ura: A compromise sounds interesting...But I think I'll go with the latter. I was surprised you remembered the whole tennis issue! You were the only one who brought something like that up! Good job! Oh, by the by, would you mind if I used the sentence about Someone or soemthing making Harry realize etc...? Thank you!

Rema Lupa: oo; Lol sorry. This took a long time. Don't yell at me! ; Thank you!

Gabrielle Potter-Malfoy: I'm glad you like the way Draco talks about Harry! Believe it or not, I used to adore Harry/Herm stories, but then I found the joy that is slash reading! Thank you!

lovedbytheangels: Heyo! I like the new name. Sounds cool! Ok, that's a definite "I feel sorry for Harry now." He's being called names gallore! I feel sorry for Pansy too! Wait...why are we feeling sorry for Pansy again? Oh yeah! She got beat up! I think we've already got that all worked out now. Thank you!

Mon2: I love you too!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol, I'm weird. I can't remember if we chose nicknames yet... Um...I think I covered most of this in an e-mail... Hmm. I just don't think Harry knows what love is yet. I liked your idea of Bill, but I thought maybe someone a wee bit younger, like George! Not that I don't like Bill and Draco or anything! I was just thinking about the story! Please don't be mad! Thank you though!

personz-of-da-dungoen: Draco wasn't originally invited, but he is now! Yeas, she did, and he was just really emotional that night. Now he spends his morning berrating himself over it. Thank you!

Chiquita-3: You didn't scare me off! I'm just a completely lazy person! I think I e-mailed you back. I talked about the e-mail, so most of it was covered there. Once again, I don't mind if you like H/S! Perfectly fine! If H/D just isn't for you, I'm not going to force you to read my story! ::huggles!:: I'd absolutely love to have you as my e-mail buddy still! Thank you! And don't feel bad!

CatJetRat: YAY! Internet! Me is mucho happy for you! Alot of people were either mad, or shocked at what Harry did. I agree, Harry would totally be gone if it were me. But then again, nobody really knows about them yet. I'm sorry! I'll try to get to read other stories, but it's so hard!! I'm gonna probably get one of those reviews from someone who wants me to update faster... Oh and to your other review: Yeah, she's a great writer and a great person! She deserves to be on lots of people's lists! Thank you!

WildcatAMF: Sorry...But it really all depends on if you want a long story or a shorter one. Because honestly, I could end this story within a chapter or two. The alternate endings...One would be sad, the other would be happy. Thank you!

A/N: Well, That's all folks! If ya'll want Alternate endings just tell me in a review! Remember, one happy, one sad! Please review!
