Disclaimer: I own none of the Harry Potter characters or places.
Warnings: Slash, boy/boy love, Mentions of D/R, some violence and a little abuse. Soon, possible George/Draco, but no kissing on the lips!
AN: I'm back! (Enter scary music in the background) Well, It's been a while, hasn't it? I tried working on it! Honest! I suppose I just needed an outlet for my other ideas. Hence a new story! Only if you're into Remus/Sirius slash... It's called Everything In The Middle.
Also, If this chapter seems a little...angsty-ish or something, then it's because of stuff. I have lost all but one friend, and it's sad to not be friends with someone you've been best friends with for 9 years. All because of a stupid guy too. And then everything went down from there. I appreciate all of your guys' concern. It really meant something to me.
Dedication: tw1n 3v1l w00t for bringing up a few questions and helping me with problems. I never would have known had you never told me! Thanks! (Clap Clap)
What you'll see in this chapter: The party, someone seeing a mysterious creature, and Harry and Draco get into another argument!
IMPORTANT NOTE: The beginning of each new scene, the beginning of the chapter, and the end of the chapter, will be stated with this: ccccccc

The clock continued on with the annoying noise for a few more seconds. The living room was completely silent, and every little thing seemed to echo. Draco sat alone in hisliving room. He was waiting for 8 o' clock to come, and once it finally did, he didn't know what to do.
After a few minutes, someone knocked on the door. Draco did his best not to jump up and swing the door open. He was excited, no doubt about that, but mostly, he was nervous. Nervous of the consequences this would bring. Oh yes, consequences. Every action had a consequence, every decision receiving a different reaction.
Slowly opening the door, Draco looked outside to see George, standing in a t-shirt that read "Bando" on it. Everyone knew that George couldn't play a musical instrument to save his life. Fred had been surprisingly gifted with the talent of playing the saxophone. He didn't play it often, but he did when he was feeling sad or extremely happy.
Draco grinned and embraced George. They stood like that for a few seconds before Draco pulled away, George placing a goofy grin on his face. George led Draco to the car, where they hastily put their seatbelts on, then drove off.
The drive over to the Weasleys house was silent, except for the occasional humming on George's part. Once they had parked the car, they both got out and walked to the door. It felt awkward to Draco. Going to a party with his ex-boyfriend's brother when he was already in some sort of relationship with said ex-boyfriend's best friend. It was so very confusing.
"Well, let's go in, "George said as he grabbed Draco's hand and led him inside. The was loud music pumping from the speakers around the house. It was dimly lit, and there were several people dancing together, others on the couch either talking, or making out.
With wide eyes, Draco surveyed the people he passed. He saw Vinca, but didn't get a chance to talk to her. A few minutes into the party, Draco found himself leaning against a wall, arms crossed, and listening to what George was saying.
"It's so great to see you again. Ron was really bummed after the incident, but he's started to get over it. We haven't heard from you for so long! We left not long after, but Ron was the only one who could remember your number, but he wouldn't give it to us. I was going to contact you. At least your here now."
Draco gave the red-head a half-smile. He wasn't really listening to the other boy, but rather staring at the brunette across the room. A girl was hanging all over him, the same one from the store, and he was talking to a group of people. Draco couldn't help but feel jealous as the girl ran a hand over Harry's torso. She whispered something in his ear, and left.
"What are you looking at? Is it something interesting?" Draco was about to march over to Harry and yell at him, but then realised that it would be really girly.
"It's nothing. Let's dance."
Everyone was dancing to the music, when a sudden high pitched shrill came from the garage. Everything stopped, and when another scream came, everyone rushed over to the garage door. It burst open as Harry's blonde date came running out. She ran over to Harry and wrapped her arms around him as she sobbed into his shirt.
"It was horrible! It was some...Thing! It had red eyes! It face was...was...all burnt and shriveled looking!"
Harry and Ron's head both snapped to look at each other, eyes wide with recognition.
"Shh... Don't worry. Ron will go and check it out. Don't worry. I'll go get you a cup of water." Harry had said to the girl as he detatched himself from her grip. Ron nodded and went into the garage, where people either watched him, or went to the girl, comforting her and asking her questions.
Draco took that as his chance to talk to Harry. He followed the other boy into the kitchen where he was reaching up to grab a cup. Draco coughed and was pleased when Harry's head turned in his direction.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
Mouth slightly agape, Draco stared at Harry in shock. Why would Harry ask that in such a rude manner? "I was invited here for your information! I thought you would be more happy to see me, but I suppose I was wrong."
Turning on his heel, Draco proceeded to march out of the kitchen, when Harry grabbed his wrist, holding him back. The blonde boy turned around to look at the other male, a frown across both of their faces.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so rude, it's just... I didn't expect you to be here."
"Why? Didn't think I could get a date? I'm very capable of finding someone else who actually wants to be with me."
"I want to be with you! And you shouldn't be going out with other people!"
"Oh that's rich, coming from you. That blonde bimbo was hanging all over you! Besides, if you care so much about me, how come you never take me out anywhere? I want a relationship, Harry."
"We have a relationship."
"No we don't! You keep hiding me! You don't want me around."
"Of course I want you around. I'm just afraid."
"Of what?"
Harry leaned his head down to look at the floor. He hesitated before adding, "That I will be rejected by everyone. I don't want to be labeled as a queer. That'll completely ruin my--"
"Reputation." Draco finished off for him. "There's more to life than winning your high school popularity contest! Once you graduate, nobody is going to remember you! They're going to forget alot of the things that happened. You're just one of the many kids that just goes there."
"You don't understand."
"Understand what? I don't understand what it's like to be at the top of the social list? Understand what it's like to be adored by hundreds of fellow students? Or perhaps you don't think I understand how it feels to be the most know student in your school? Listen, I know. I was the most popular kid at my school before I moved, so don't give me all this bull about 'not understanding', because I know, Potter."
"Draco, Listen, I--"
"No, Potter. When you're ready to hand in your popularity crown and join me in a relationship, I'll be waiting for your call."
Draco turned around and successfully made his way over to George. When he asked for a ride home, George nodded, but not before asking why.
"I'm just feeling really tired."
So now, Draco was in his home. Standing at the base of the stairs, one hand on the banister, the other grasping his sweater. He had a feeling that things were only going to get harder from here on out. Talking the first step up the stairs, Draco made his way up to his room, where he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
He didn't cry. He didn't need to. It didn't solve anything, but sometimes it was good to cry. However, this was not one of those times. He just wondered how long it would take Harry to call.

AN: Well, after that LONG period of time where I did little snippets of this chapter, this was all I could create. I thought it was pretty decent, but that's just me. I care much more about what you guys think!

Finally, the phone rang. Draco scrambled to pick it up, but when he did, all that was heard, was shouting.
"You're seeing George Weasley!? How could you? Why the hell would you go with another Weasley? Haven't you learned your damn lesson Draco? Stay away from them. They're nothing but trouble!"
The other end went quiet as the phone was hung up. Draco sat there, shocked at what had just been yelled at him. Maybe he should just convince his mother to move somewhere else. It was a bad idea to stay here.
