For Disclaimer, summary, and warnings, go back to that one chapter with it all on it. Most likely chapter 1.
AN: First off, I am so sorry! I don't know why I keep doing this, but It gets really hard for me to type this after I post a chapter. Thanks again to CatJetRat for reminding me about this. This chapter kind of doesn't really have a point to it, but I guess you could say it's kind of a lead-in.
Dedication: To Rhen for reviewing a slash story! I'm so proud of her!

The crowd of people surrounding Draco and Harry started talking, each person turning to the other and questioning the possibility of Harry being gay. The voices grew louder and it was almost to much for Harry to handle, knowing that these people were all talking about him, and not in a good way. There was no doubt that if Harry were to answer truthfully, he would be shunned by nearly all of his peers. So, instead of doing what was right, he lied, just like he had done for so many years.
"You guys are all crazy. To think that all of you, my peers who have known me for far longer than him," Harry, motioned to Draco, "Would believe me to be gay! I've never felt so sick in my life. You people really should think about what you're saying."
This seemed to quiet everyone. They all stared at Harry, waiting for him to say something else, or for someone to do something. Finally, a person who was in the group decided to leave, walking away silently. Not long after, the rest of the crowd began to disperse, until Harry and Draco were completely alone.
Harry turned to Draco.
"That wasn't funny Malfoy!"
"Oh, but it was, Potter. Believe me; you don't want to get on my bad side."
"After this, I might." Harry said, before he slowly walked towards Draco, causing the other boy to scoot further away from Harry. Eventually, Harry had Draco pinned up against the wall, and his lips descended upon the blonde boy in a gentle kiss. It left Draco breathless. The kiss, as small as it was, held so much emotion and tenderness.
But Draco pushed Harry away. He had changed his mood far too quickly to be natural. Something was going on, Draco just wasn't sure what. He stared at Harry for a moment, looking into the alluring green depths. How he wished he could stare into them for hours.
Draco mentally slapped himself. He was supposed to be trying to play hard to get, but here he was, almost willing to throw himself at Harry. If he could just hold on a little longer, he was sure Harry would crack and beg him to take him back. It was a plan he and Hermione had devised during their classes that day.
They had steadily got closer, becoming better friends than anyone knew, besides Pansy of course. They talked in all of the classes they shared, and often, Hermione would come over, and they would talk, or study. Hermione was smart, to say the least, and so was Draco. That's probably what drew them together. They were both fueled by the need to be smarter than the other, but they weren't overly competitive.
Wandering back to the task at hand, Draco managed to distance himself from Harry, the other boy giving him a look of confusion. Without another word, Draco took off in a run, hoping Harry wouldn't chase after him. He ran and ran, his heart pounding furiously in his chest. When he arrived at his doorstep, he was out of breath, and tired. He had to collect himself before he went inside, otherwise his mother would most likely interrogate him.
Why had he run like that? Why didn't he just stay there and yell at Harry? It confused him, and yet made him feel at ease. He had enough self control to stay away from Harry, but not enough to run away like a mad man.
He decided that thinking about it would get him nowhere. He stood straight, and breathed in before turning the doorknob and letting himself in. The television was on, and Penelope was in the living room with Hermione, watching some show about reality television. Choosing to let them be, he took off his shoes, and trudged upstairs.
He walked into his mother's room, sighing as he watched his mother. He observed her from where he was standing in the doorway. She had her glasses on. She hated wearing them, but she did sometimes. Her hair was loosely pulled back with a ribbon, and a few strands of her blonde hair fell in front of her eyes. She was sitting on her bed doing paperwork. Draco didn't exactly know what she did as her career, but he knew that she always had paperwork to do.
She would be up all night working on it, and she would go to sleep late, but wake up in time to eat breakfast with her children. She always tried to make it home in time to be there when her kids got home from school. Lately though, she would be in her room all day, sitting on the bed with papers scattered everywhere.
Draco gave her a sad smile, and walked over to her. She looked up and gave him a small smile, before returning to what she was doing. She was caught off guard when She felt something embrace her, holding her close. Draco gave her a wide smile as she looked up to him, confused. Moments later, she returned the hug with one of her own.
"You're a great mother," Draco whispered. She smiled a true, fulfilling smile as she held him even tighter. A few tears rolled down her face, and she let go of Draco, wiping them away and laughing.
"You silly child, you made me cry. Thank you. I needed it."
"Any time," Draco grinned. Narcissa gave another short laugh before she playfully kicked her son out of the room.
Draco smiled the whole way over and into his room. Hey noticed the calendar on his wall, and walked over to it. Today was Friday, so surely he had something to do tomorrow. Slowly his smile faded and sudden realization hit him.
Tomorrow was the 15th.

AN: I actually feel like this one was my best so far. It was amazingly easy to write, and I actually had some fun writing it. I'll dedicate a chapter to anyone who can guess why Draco isn't too happy about why it's going to be the 15th! Does anyone remember?
Teaser:
Draco gasped as George walked through the door, giving Draco a huge smile. "W-what are you doing here?" Draco asked.
George pulled the blonde boy close, and gave him a small kiss on the neck. "I wouldn't miss this for the world." As George kissed Draco's neck, all Draco could think about was 'This is going to be bad.'
Responses to reviewers:
fudgebaby: Thank you!
CatJetRat: Hehe! I wanted to! I felt you were mainly responsible for the chapter. I'm glad you liked the teaser, even though they usually don't play much into the chapter. If that made sense...Thanks again!
ura: Voldemort wants Draco, because of what his dad did. Harry's been having second thoughts about the whole "In with Voldemort" business. It's mainly Ron who's keeping him in the whole scheme of things, because he talks about what wonderful jobs they'll have. Harry thrives on having power. Being at the top of his game would be a great ambition fulfilled for him. I agree, but I kind of felt that Draco was being portrayed as weak. He doesn't really care what people think about him, and he was kind of mad at harry, so he did what he and Hermione said, just tweaked it a little. Thank you!
Michele Malfoy: I know what you mean about the cliffhanger thing. Thank you very much for the compliments. I do believe I've read Draco Dormiens. It was a good story. I don't know exactly when I'll have them give Draco to Voldemort, but it shouldn't be too far away! I don't think even Harry knows whether he's in love with Draco, or just lusts after him. Would that even be the right word? The whole dream thing was actually something I just threw in there to take up space, but then afterwards, I thought about making it some sort of preview of something to come. I'm not going to say that the real thing is going to be just like the dream, but there will be similarities.
dmweasley: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't really know about the George/Pansy thing. It wouldn't really fit in the story, but I can try to in the next chapter, alright? Thank you!
Yana5: The people at Harry's school are... closed-minded I suppose you could say. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't really care, but it's probably more of a shock to them than anything.
Xblilyia: In a way, that kind of is what happens. Harry kisses him, and Draco runs off. Maybe I'm just weird though... You're not alone. I didn't really like it, but I needed someone for Draco to go out with, and I read a story a long time ago that made me think of it. I actually intended to put more Hermione in this one, but I got a new computer, and I couldn't get the chapter back. I'll definitely try next time, okay?
Tseshi-S-chan: Wow, an hour? Either I write small chapters, or you're a really fast reader! A lot of people have commented on the "swapped identities" thing. It had always been a thing I wanted to do. Thank you!
LiLy MaLfOy13: Thank you!
Rhen: You freak! I'm sure you felt very awkward reading this. I told you not to, but do you ever listen to me? I can't believe you don't like Siri/Remy because they're "old!" Oh, and no, not all the Weasley's are gay. Just two of them...Hopefully. I laughed about the Bando shirt too. I'm such a bando I have to include it somehow. No. Your review made me cry. Just joking...ha ha...
oOWeasleyWizardWheezesOo: I caught you off guard! Or something... Thank you!
