A/N: I wrote this for a 100 word drabble contest on livejournal; the theme was "lying." This was the first drabble I've ever written, and since I'm pretty proud of it, I've decided to put it up here, even if it's about ..oh, 100 words long. :P
"Tell me something real," she said, staring out at thestormy night sky.
"I don't know anything real," he coolly replied, his eyes glued to her ginger hair, unable to look at her eyes. She's the only one who's ever been able to spot his lies, to see through him.
"You're lying," she replied evenly, not removing her gaze from the window as the sky finally opened and let the rain crash down upon the earth.
His patience grew thin. "Fine," he said. "You, Ginevra."
"You're lying," she repeated, finally moving her eyes to his.
Only she found he wasn't.
