Adult content ahead

It was a seamless one hour commute to get to Kuri Beach and as the group of friends proceeded to pile out of the train, they took in the gorgeous scenery around them with awe.

They boarded at Kibi station which was conveniently located by the coastline. It was only a short walk along the cement pathway before they reached their destination. As they walked in anticipation whilst lugging their bags, the young adults rejoiced when they heard the smooth lapping of waves and bellowing of sea gulls increasingly becoming louder.

A white and blue wooden sign that was impaled in sand stood beautifully in the distance signifying the shore was just up ahead.

Nami was barely able to keep it together. As the shimmering turquoise sea came into view, she dashed ahead to step onto the endless, warm, fluffy bed of sand and jagged seashells, the rest of the group trailing behind her in wonder.

She shut her eyes and inhaled deeply, immersing herself in her surroundings.

The atmosphere was intensified by the fragrant aroma of salt mixed with sea flowers and the way the pristine, foamy sea water trickled onto the shore line just up ahead was mesmerizing. To their relief, they had gotten there early enough as well, meaning the congestion of beach goers was minimal.

Maintaining the lead, Nami eyed a cozy open spot underneath a large rustling palm tree that seemed adequate enough. It was wonderfully shaded but still close enough to the shore.

"What about setting up by that palm tree?" She called back to them with a smile, pointing towards the area.

Luffy immediately voiced his amazement and jogged past Nami towards the suggested spot.

"Good eye, Nami-swaaaaan!" Sanji praised, walking slightly behind her.

Already bouncing with excitement in each step, Chopper dashed passed them to Luffy's side, unable to hold back. "Good job, Naaaami!" he shouted over his shoulder as he scurried to their new spot.

She cracked a proud smile.

"Oi, everyone! This is perfect!" Luffy shouted, writhing his arms about excitedly before setting his backpack on the ground.

It all happened so quickly.

Without warning, Luffy crossed his arms in front of him and gripped either side of the hem of his shirt to peel it off his glistening skin.

And there he stood, the object of all her desires, looking unbelievably ripped.

Nami sucked in a sharp breath and her body moved on its own, this caused her to halt, her eyes immediately settling upon his 8-pack.

How is it possible that's she's never seen Luffy with his shirt off?

She was well aware that he was fit since she could usually feel his toned abdominal muscles pressing against her navel whenever they hugged.

But... getting an eyeful of his bare toned chest and stomach?

Damn.

Nami was blushing madly and failed to realize she was standing there, gaping at Luffy like a huge pervert.

"Like what you see?" Vivi teased in a hushed tone, now locking their arms together to tug her along and continue walking.

Hell yeah, her mind answered traitorously.

Robin giggled. "Her face speaks for itself."

Nami could only playfully roll her eyes at the girls in response.

Meanwhile, Zoro and Usopp followed closely behind the group, hauling a large gray ribbed cooler. Each held a grip of the plastic handles on either side and they carefully placed it down near the stump of the palm tree.

Usopp huffed loudly.

"Damnit, Zoro. Did you shove a few bricks in there while you were at it?" he asked, now hunched over with his hands gripping his knees to catch his breath.

He yawned. "Nah, just some bottles of Sake. Nothing crazy." Zoro deadpanned, now plopping down to sit against the stump.

Usopp peered down at him incredulously. "Did you at least bring water bottles?"

"Water? Why would we need that?" He mumbled, reaching inside to rummage through the ice cubes before pulling out a clear glass bottle of booze.

"You sound crazy to me!" the long-nosed man exclaimed, towering over him to slightly karate chop the top of his head, teeth sharpening.

"It's absolutely beautiful here." Nami stated in pure amazement as she helped Robin sprawl out an oversized beach blanket.

"It's been a while since you've been to the beach, hasn't it?" Robin asked.

"Honestly, I don't even remember the last time I did. We weren't near the coast back where Nojiko and I lived, so this really is a treat." Nami replied, now settling down on the blanket to carefully take in the view.

"I'm glad we were able to make it happen then." Robin said, smiling warmly as she sat down next to her.

"Yeah. Me too." Nami mirrored her smile before a flash of blue and blonde hair suddenly caught her attention.

See, Nami and Robin were well aware that Vivi was on a mission and she had everything planned to a T.

She had been wanting to confess to Sanji for weeks now but never found the right moment to do so. Either that, or she'd "cop out" as Nami liked to say. So she wanted to take full advantage of this trip to make him aware of her feelings, the first step being her asking him for a few minutes of his time alone.

Vivi had already envisioned the scenario, vividly elaborating a play by play to the women during their train ride.

The brisk air and mellow waves at sunset serving as the backdrop to the ultimate confession.

Perfect, right?

And now, internally giggling after overhearing Usopp and Zoro's conversation, Vivi decided that if worse case scenario, he were to reject her, her green-haired friend would be definitely be forced to share some of his Sake.

Nami nudged Robin's shoulder with her elbow lightly and when Robin lifted a slender questioning brow in her direction, she tilted her head, using it to subtly point at the two that were a few feet away setting up the grill.

Robin's mouth formed an 'o' and both women tuned into the conversation.

"Here's the cooler you packed with ingredients, Sanji." Vivi said with a warm smile, holding a smaller compact cooler out in his direction.

"Thanks, Vivi-chan." he took it from her with a mirrored smile, unable to remove his transfixed gaze from hers.

It was truly a sight to behold considering the lack of nosebleeds and heart eye that he was unable to hold back upon seeing an array of women with racy bikinis. This was different. It was a genuine, love-stricken reaction.

Feeling a sudden rush of courage raging through her, she figured now was her chance. Vivi softly cleared her throat to catch his attention before she began.

"Sanji, could we maybe...uhm..."

And just like that, the courage diminished. The words died in her throat which felt extremely constricted, making it tedious to breathe.

"…Vivi-chan, you okay?" his eyes flashed with worry.

She quickly whipped her head back at her two female friends, becoming aware of the sudden "pssst" sound coming from their direction.

Robin flashed an inconspicuous thumbs up before Nami silently mouthed: "ask him."

She turned back to look at his skittish expression and swallowed the lump in her throat, her blood pumping abnormally through her veins.

Do it. Do it. Do it.

"C-Could you meet me back on the shore at sunset? Uh... just you and me? There's something I've been wanting to ask you."

It didn't take long for his worried expression to morph into curiosity.

"Sure. I'll be there."

The girls beamed upon his words of confirmation.

"Yes!" Nami cheered to herself sotto-voce, forming a small fist victoriously.

"Phase 1, complete." Robin chuckled.

Nami was beyond pleased with how this day had already been turning out. The weather was perfect, they found a great spot, Vivi was making her move, she was here with the people who filled her with joy, and her bo-

Wait.

Where was he?

She glanced around, searching for his raven hair and red swimming trunks to no avail.

Nami's brows furrowed. "Robin, did you see where Luffy ran off too?" she asked, still carefully scanning the area.

Robin hummed in thought. "I haven't seen him actually."

Nami's face twisted in confusion. "I'm gonna go look for him." she said, now standing from her spot.

There weren't many places he could have ran off to.

Right?

Other than the open landscape, there was just a row of colorful wooden changing huts up ahead.

Trying her luck there, she trudged through the sand and peeked her head around each of the structures, searching for a clue as to where her goofball boyfriend was.

"Luffy?" she yelled in a hushed tone.

No response.

Where could he be?

She strolled along a wooden platform, eyeing the opening at the bottom of each hut to see if he may have been inside one.

"Luffy?" she called out, a little louder this time.

Suddenly one of the doors flew open and she felt a hand wrap around her wrist, tugging her forward before colliding against someone's chest with a yelp.

The person gently shut the door behind her and almost immediately she recognized his familiar scent of ocean and firewood.

She pried her eyes open and honey orbs met onyx ones.

"There you are! You scared me half to death." she said, unwillingly peeling herself off of him.

"Sorry." he snickered, releasing his hold on her wrist.

Her lips twitched, inevitably mirroring his contagious smile. "What are you doing in here?"

Luffy blinked. "I was hoping you'd come looking for me cuz I wanted to get you alone." he said in a seemingly innocent tone.

With enlarged eyes, Nami took in his expression. "W-What?" she spat, a magnificent blush spreading across her cheeks.

"My surprise. Remember?"

Ohhh.

Nami sat on floor, her back leaned against the foot of her bed whist Luffy had his head laid on her lap.

She was stroking his hair, lovingly gazing down at him. Luffy, in turn, held his arm up to gently caress her cheek.

"Nami?" he asked, refusing to peel his eyes away from her.

"Hm?" she hummed back softly, her heart still thumping away in her chest from when he asked her to be his girlfriend.

"Could you at least give me a hint? I really don't like surprises."

She chuckled, feeling her chest throb at his innocence.

"You really have no clue?" she inquired.

"I really dont!" he pouted a bit.

"Whenever we have a moment alone on Saturday, I'll make sure to show you."

He really was oblivious.

Luffy wrapped his arms around the small of her back and gently pulled her towards him once more before settling his forehead against the crook of her neck.

"Did you forget?" he asked lowly, deeply inhaling her intoxicating scent.

"How could I forget?" she shut her eyes, basking in the feeling of his arms around her.

He laughed lightly, and her breath hitched when she felt the vibrations leaving a hot brand against the skin of her collarbone.

Only Luffy could make her lose her senses this way.

"You know, you really shouldn't say such ambiguous things." she said, now gently raking her fingers through his hair.

He hummed in question and lifted his head to gaze at her befuddledlby. "A big what?"

Rather than explaining, she playfully rolled her eyes, raising her other arm to loosely wrap them both around his neck. "You're lucky you're cute." she teased.

His lips twisted into an adorable pout which caused the girl to purse her lips in attempts to stifle back her laughter.

"Are you making fun of me?" his pout grew.

Unable to hold back, she erupted into a fit of giggles. She just couldn't help herself. His faces were way too cute.

"Namiii." he whined.

She shut her eyes in glee, inevitably laughing even harder before regaining her composure due to Luffy's protests.

That's right.

He was waiting for his surprise.

With the atmosphere now catching up to her, she gazed at him before tugging on his neck to gently bring his face closer to hers.

His eyes widened, trembling in response.

"You wanna see your surprise?" she whispered through half-lidded eyes.

Luffy felt his throat constrict and he absentmindedly nodded, amazed at how Nami had the ability to render him completely breathless with a single glance.

She tilted her head forward to press her forehead against his, unable to control the incessant thrumming of her heart.

Their lips were achingly close, one swift motion and they'd lose themselves to the blissful feeling of longing kisses.

Her chest throbbed at their proximity.

"Nami." he breathily called out with droopy eyes, causing warm puffs of air to wash over her parted lips.

Her brain completely shut down and the way he huskily said her name made her thickly swallow.

She knew that if she gave in to him right now, it'd be extremely difficult to hold herself back.

The past few months leading up to this moment have been... tedious. Never in her life had she been left feeling so hot and bothered on multiple occasions like she had with Luffy.

And that was only bearing the title of "just friends."

She wanted to take it slow, she really did... but another part of her, couldn't bring herself to care.

Her eyes widened suddenly remembering one important detail.

She loves him.

She loves him so much and she wanted him to claim every single inch of her. She wanted to give herself to him fully.

In a fit of desperation, she raised her chin up to slowly brush her lips along his, and against her chest, she could feel him begin to heave.

As she mumbled sweet nothings against his plump lips, Luffy slowly smoothed his hands down along her back, instinctively settling on her curvy hips.

She didn't mean to whine against his lips when she pictured his hands running all over her body, but when she did, he lost it.

He pulled back and cracked his eyes open to take in her expression. She was flushed and heavily panting then he realized that they were gazing at each other with equal desire through heated eyes.

She looked so...

Losing his patience, Luffy leaned in, capturing her lips in a sloppy kiss. The feeling that they both craved left them yearning for more.

Suddenly, he squeezed the indents of her hips, causing the girl to rip an airy moan right into the depths of his mouth and a low growl escaped him.

They were painfully close. So much so, that Luffy could feel her hardened nipples against his bare chest, sending him over the edge.

He took full advantage of her open mouth and pressed his tongue roughly against hers, swirling the appendages together.

Her knees buckled a bit from the overwhelming sensation of heat rushing to her core and she felt immensely satisfied feeling him harden against her lower belly through his swimming trunks.

Only she could make him feel this way, only her and no one else.

Nami reluctantly pulled away from him, now huffing to catch her breath but she was eager to give into him even more.

"Take my shirt off." she commanded, raising her arms up above her.

Without the slightest bit of hesitation, he complied, gripping the hem of her tee to slide the thin piece of fabric over her head.

As soon as he was slowly exposed to her soft pale skin, he inhaled sharply.

Nami was absolutely gorgeous.

She was wearing a frilly red bikini top underneath and the way it proudly displayed her generous chest made him crave her even more.

All he had to do was pull the stretchy material up barely even an inch before her breasts would be out in all their mountainous glory. The idea made his mouth water.

She quickly unbuttoned her frayed jean shorts and tugged them down, leaving her in just the clad red bikini that Luffy definitely seemed to like.

With the way he was eyeing her hungrily and the way he was brushing his fingers along the frills of her skimpy bottoms, anyone could tell.

"What do you think?" she smiled, feigning innocence.

With eager eyes, he glanced at her. "I think I reaaaally like this surprise."

She smiled with devilish glee at his response.

Luffy tilted her chin up with his index finger before planting feathery open-mouth kisses along the length of her neck making her whimper in pleasure.

How is he this good?!

"Lu-ffy" she heaved, angling her neck to give him more access as he torturously glided his hand underneath the strings of her top.

Her erotic sounds and the way she said his name sent jolts of pleasure that coursed harshly through his blood.

He wanted to hear those sounds over and over again.

From the roof of the wooden hut, she tilted her head to catch sight of his raven locks.

Damn was she enjoying this. In fact, she was enjoying this so much that she was positive she wouldn't be able to control herself any longer if things escalated from here.

Wait…

That's right.

They were at the beach, and their friends were probably wondering where they were.

"Mm.." she moaned. "Lu-ffy… w-we have to stop." she heaved in between pants.

He promptly ceased his ministrations and snapped his head back, eyeing her erratically.

"No!" he argued, looking immensely troubled.

Her breathing began to level out and she furrowed her brows.

"Everyone is probably wondering where we are and plus…" she averted her eyes and turned her head away, a red haze forming across her cheeks.

Not liking that action, he cupped one side of her cheek and gently moved her face to make her look at him again. "Plus?" he retorted.

She was seriously flustered, it was hard to even look him in the eye.

"Plus… I really don't want to lose my virginity inside a changing booth." she said embarrassingly.

His eyes widened in realization and she moved to place a comforting hand atop his cheek.

He felt a weird throbbing inside his chest with the thought of them being each other's first time.

"Just wait a little longer. Okay?" she grinned reassuringly.

Coming to his senses, he nodded in understanding.

He grinned. "Okay."

Truthfully, he always held himself back around Nami. He knew she wanted him just as badly, but he didn't want to rush her or pressure her into doing anything she didn't want to do.

Watching her take a step back, he stood there feeling extremely uncomfortable below his waistline.

"You coming?" she smiled.

"Uh. You go ahead. I'll catch up to you in a minute."

There's something he had to unfortunately take care of first.

Back on the shore, with every step she observed how the dazzling dusty sand twinkled amidst the golden rays of sunlight and as Nami meandered her way back to their spot, she noticed it was significantly warmer.

No, actually…

It was ridiculously hot.

Was it because it was the dead of summer and they were underneath the warmth of the sun or was it because of her raven-haired boyfriend?

It was most likely the latter of the two.

Nearing the site, she spotted Robin lounging in her beach chair sipping away on a glass of lemonade, Sanji was arduously preparing ingredients for lunch, and the rest of the group was nowhere to be found.

That is, until she heard someone that suspiciously sounded a lot like Usopp shouting joyfully as they threw themselves off a cliff in the distance.

"Woah." she said in amazement as her feet moved on their own, carrying her towards them.

Not thinking twice, she hiked up the elevated slope to be met with familiar adrenaline filled faces.

"Nami, over here!" Chopper greeted her when she approached.

They were gathered near the top, glancing down at the long-nosed man with face-splitting smiles.

She couldn't help but crack a smile herself as she leaned forward over the edge to look at Usopp splashing around below. "Is this safe?"

Zoro grinned smugly. "There was only one way to find out."

Vivi giggled. "Usopp truly is a brave warrior of the sea."

"Oi! Usopp! How's the water?!" Luffy suddenly shouted now ascending up, causing Nami to jump a bit.

When did he even get over here?!

She blushed just thinking about what had happened moments prior.

"The water's great! Come on guys!" he hollered back.

Chopper balanced himself on his knees and peered over the ledge, right next to Nami when he laughed giddily. "Me next!" he shouted down at Usopp.

Hoisting himself up, the teen proceeded to take a few steps back. "Here we go." he said, inhaling deeply to summon all the courage he could get.

"Please be careful, Chopper." Nami advised worriedly.

He nodded. "I will, don't worry!" he reassured her before lunging forward and straight into the water.

Usopp laughed upon seeing his not-so-graceful dive and pushed himself to paddle towards where Chopper landed.

About 10 seconds later, he came up gasping for air. "Wooooo!" Chopper shouted as soon as his head submerged from the salty depths below.

"Who's next?" shouted Usopp.

Standing next to Nami, Luffy placed his hands over his knees, stretching forward to eye the distance below. "Woaaaah, this looks fun."

Before Nami could even blink, Luffy had kicked his sandals off.

Carefully eyeing his actions, Zoro interjected. "Luffy." he called a bit more sternly than he usually does. "Don't even think about it. You know you can't re-"

It all happened so quick. In a flash, Luffy threw himself off and they all suddenly heard a loud splash.

"-ally swim." Zoro finished, completely dumbfounded.

Nami whipped her head to eye Zoro erratically. "Wait, Luffy can't swim?" her smiled faltered.

"Barely." he leaned over, waiting for the man to pop out.

Nami watched the scene below with her mouth agape.

10 seconds…. 20 seconds… 30-

Refusing to wait any longer, she dove forward. She felt a gush of wind blowing throughout the length of her hair.

No.

Her eyes immediately burned upon the harsh impact into the salty sea.

She didn't care.

She thrashed her head around under water, searching for his mop of raven hair. She twisted herself around and finally could see him, flailing his arms underneath the waves before going limp.

No, no, no.

Without a moment to spare, she eagerly began swimming towards him, kicking her feet with overwhelming desperation.

Once she reached him, she wrapped an arm around his torso, and with her free arm, Nami began guiding them up towards the surface.

"Help! Chopper!!" she screamed promptly after bobbing out.

Thankfully, both Usopp and Chopper had began wading in their direction.

Reaching the two, Usopp grabbed onto one of Luffy's arms to drape it over his neck and began speedily swimming towards the shore, Nami and Chopper closely behind him.

Nami wanted to scream but nothing would come out.

She couldn't lose another person she loved, she just couldn't.

Reaching the sandy shore, Usopp dragged him onto the bed of sand and sprawled him out before Chopper ran to his side to begin CPR.

"Stay with me, Luffy!" he shouted, immediately pressing both his hands harshly against his chest to begin pumping.

Nami ran as fast as her feet could carry her before dropping to her knees to crawl to his side.

"Luffy! Luffy please open your eyes!" she wailed, placing both her hands atop one of his that laid lifeless beside him, and she brought it up to hug it tightly against her chest.

Chopper continued his motions steadily before Luffy pried his eyes open and suddenly bolted up, coughing up an abnormal amount of sea water.

Her face contorted into sheer relief.

"Oh my god. Luffy!" she choked out, throwing her arms around him and buried her face into the crook of his neck.

He huffed heavily to fill his lungs with air once again.

"Nami." his lips began to form a grin.

"Are you okay, Luffy?" Chopper asked worriedly.

Luffy blinked and tilted his head to the side to rest it against the top of Nami's.

"I'm okay. I owe you, Chopper." he said.

Usopp eyed him, looking rather upset. "Or how about you don't do anything that reckless again! You know you can't swim, Luffy!" he scolded.

"I tried to tell him." Zoro chimed in, now approaching them with Vivi hurriedly trailing behind him.

Nami pulled herself away to take in his expression. His brows were furrowed and he bagan to form a slight pout.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Luffy!" Vivi exclaimed.

Nami frowned slightly. "Luffy, What on earth were you thinking?" she asked, placing a hand against his cheek.

He in turn, placed a hand atop hers. "I'm sorry, Nami. I thought I'd be fine." he said, now gazing at her. "Plus I kinda wanted to impress you." he confessed.

On the inside, she was a complete wreck.

This is exactly what she feared and what haunted her at night. Before realizing, slick tears trailed down either side of her cheeks, imagining what would have happened if they wouldn't have been able to save him.

Luffy's eyes widened and he reached out to cup her cheek, wiping her tears away with his thumb. "I'm sorry, Nami. I won't do it again."

Her heart clenched upon seeing the sadness in his onyx orbs and she formed a small grin, trying her best to reassure him.

She loves him so much.

"You promise?"

"I promise."
