At eleven years old, Milah was taken captive by Fire Nation soldiers. Seven years later, at eighteen, she returns to her family at the South Pole, back to her brother Sokka and her sister Katara. But a certain scarred Prince ruins her plans. Zuko/OC. Rated M for lemons and occasional cursing. Extreme slow-burn and angst.

1. Note of the Author

Hello everyone! Welcome to my fanfiction. I am very excited to share this with you, but also a little nervous. If you could please give me reviews! Or criticism, I would appreciate that. Furthermore, here are some things to clarify:

I do NOT own any of the characters except for Milah, Amim and maybe a few others. I am not yet done writing this novel and later on I will probably add some more characters (or not). If this happens I will notify at the beginning of the chapter. Furthermore, if this story coincides with a story of someone else's, please notify me! I am not aware of all the ATLA fanfictions out there. I simply know that when I tried looking for a story about an older sister of Sokka and Katara I could not find one, so simply started writing one myself. If any of the places, names or happenings in my novel corresponds with real life, this is not intentional.

Secondly, Zuko is 20 years old in my story instead of 16, so he has been in banishment for four more years. This made more sense in my head and for my fanfiction. This also makes Azula 18.

Lastly, there will be some grammar or spelling mistakes, since I'm human after all and humans make mistakes :). I am always trying to improve myself and I will very much appreciate any good constructed criticism you can give me. I am also open to have a bèta or two (if someone is willing).
