Chapter 7
The Aftermath of the Space Stations Fall
November 9th
It was a new morning at the Okumura household. Ren was waking up and not next to Lavenza but Haru.
Ren gets up from them bed.
Haru does the same while yawning cutely.
"Morning Haru." Ren said as he puts on his glasses.
"Good morning Ren." Haru said.
"Good morning my princess." Milady said.
Upon hearing Milady's voice Haru remembered what happened last night.
"Oh it was real all of it was real." Haru said.
"Easy Haru its ok we'll take this on together?" Ren said as he hugs Haru.
Arsène decides to speak up.
"Good morning Ren as much as you want to hug your Empress I'd suggest you calling your Petit Papilon." Arsène said.
"Oh right. Haru do you mind if I contact Lavenza." Ren asked.
"Yes do so Ren. I'm sure she's worried about you." Haru said as Ren called Lavenza.
Haru decides to get changed… while purposely giving Ren a small show.
Which made Ren very happy.
With Morgana
"Man last night was quite a hassle but at least we managed to complete the Palace in a single night." Morgana said.
Morgana turned to see a slack jawed Kunikazu.
"Oh right I forgot about that." Morgana said.
"Forget what?" Kunikazu asked still baffled at the talking cat.
"Um what I think may had happened when a person interacts with the Metaverse they can hear me talk." Morgana said.
"Maybe, wait so that means Ren understood you from the beginning." Kunikazu said with a raised eyebrow.
"Well yeah but I thought it only effected Persona users but I guess anyone can hear me as long they interacted with the Metaverse." Morgana said.
"I'm assuming that what Haru's powers called?" Kunikazu asked as Morgana nods.
"Yeah um I need to ask have you been feeling." Morgana asked the obvious.
"To be honest worse than a piece of shit." Kunikazu said.
"Yeah that means the change of heart is starting." Morgana said.
"A change of heart?" Kunikazu said.
"To summarize your consciousness is on overdrive and you'll confess to everything you've done." Morgana explained.
Kunikazu went pale.
"Morgana call Ren and Haru to my office in a few hours." Kunikazu said.
Morgana confused but nodded.
Kunikazu went to his office. Morgana sighs.
"Dios I get the feeling that we just stumbled into something more sinister." Morgana said.
"Indeed Morgana." Zorro said.
A few hours later
Kunikazu's office
Kunikazu along with Ren, Haru and Morgana were now in the office.
"Morgana told on how the change of heart works and I need to confess about something much more sinister then making Okumura foods a black company." Kunikazu said.
"What is it Father?" Haru said as Ren placed his hand on her shoulder.
"I have been donating to an organization they have no name but some in the group began to refer themselves as the Antisocial Force." Kunikazu said.
"Antisocial Force?" Ren said.
Kunikazu sighs.
"They are a group that wishes to turn Japan into a Dictatorship." Kunikazu said.
This made the three of them gasp.
"Good god why would you help them!" Haru shouted.
"I was being ambitious and stupid but that is not the worst of it. I have asked them get rid of the competition." Kunikazu said.
Haru began to tear up. Ren brought Haru close to him.
"How did they do it?" Morgana asked.
"They would do this via Mental Shutdowns and Psychotic Breakdowns." Kunikazu said.
"WHAT?!" The three of them shouted.
"Yes it's exactly what I said." Kunikazu said.
"Hold on that would mean that this force knows about the Metaverse?!" Morgana said.
"From what I saw last night. I believe so Morgana." Kunikazu said.
"I have a question who leads the Antisocial Force?" Ren asked.
"You grandfather knew him well Amamiya-san. It's Masayoshi Shido. Kunikazu said.
Ren's eyes went wide at this.
"Of course he would be the leader of this mess." Ren said.
Oh yes your grandfather mentioned his name as well." Kunikazu said.
"Yes do you know anything else about them?" Ren asked.
"I think he mentioned that he took research of several people and groups. I only know of three of them the first was surprisingly from the Kirijo Group. In fact several of their ex-scientists joined us. The second is some researcher named Takuto Maruki." Kunikazu said.
"What the hell Maruki?" Ren said knowing that name.
"I think that's the name of Sumire's Therapist?" Haru said.
"Well shit I'll have to ask him?" Ren said.
"Who's the third person or group?" Morgana asked.
"Ah yes it was another Researcher named Wakaba Ishiki." Kunikazu said.
This made the group silent. Haru began to cry. Morgana hissed. Ren on the other hand was very, VERY Angry, hands into fist and with his bowed.
"Is something wrong?" Kunikazu asked not knowing the can of worms that he had opened.
After a bit of silence Ren spoke and he raised his head and his eyes were somehow blood red.
"That is the name of Futaba's Mother." Ren said softly but full of fury.
Kunikazu's eyes went wide.
"Oh my god." Kunikazu said as he covered his mouth.
"Merde de baise." Haru swore in French.
"Say Ren do you remember what Fubata said about her mother." Morgana said.
"The supposed suicide note? Of course that makes sense." Ren said having put two and two together.
"That's right. Ren we should awaken Sumire soon." Morgana said as Ren nods.
"Kunikazu do you have someone you can trust the company with until Haru can take over?" Ren asked.
"I do actually if I recall his name is Takakura." Kunikazu said.
"Ok then." Kunikazu we should make a press conference but keep quiet about the Antisocial Force. Ren said.
"What the why?!" Haru shouted.
"It's simple Haru I know how they are doing the Mental Shutdowns and Psychotic Breakdowns." Ren said.
"Oh I got it you think a Persona user is causing them." Morgana said as he puts two and two together.
"Ah very well honey I'll need to make space on the fireplace." Haru said.
"What on earth for Haru?" Kunikazu asked.
"Simple for the head of that bastard of a Persona User." Haru said with happy yet sinister smile.
"(Yup like mother, like daughter)." Kunikazu thought as he sweated bullets.
"We can talk about killing the bastard later. For now we should worry about how we can deal with the fallout of your confession." Ren said.
"Of course I'll leave the things about the Antisocial Force and only mention the things about my company." Kunikazu said.
"Alright then call for a meeting and try to make happen." Ren said as Kunikazu nods.
"Ok I'll call them tomorrow." Kunikazu said as the Fool and Empress nodded.
"With that I think we should let Haru and Ren enjoy the Sunday also she should probably stay at one of the other brides homes just in case." Morgana suggested.
"Good idea Morgana." Kunikazu said.
"Well then I think with that we should enjoy the Sunday." Ren said.
"Another reason to hate Mondays." Kunikazu asked.
"Well then I should pack an overnight bag then." Haru said as she leaves the room.
Ren and Morgana followed suit.
Kunikazu will need to prepare for this.
November 10th
It was a supposed to be a normal Monday morning Takakura thought as he along with the other executives were called to Kunikazu's office. Takakura hopes that he isn't going to fire him and replace him with a yes man.
When he entered the meeting room he saw a saddened Kunikazu.
Ok he wasn't angry but he wasn't happy either. Takakura sat down.
For a while everything was silent as the other executives came in.
After the last one Kunikazu finally spoke.
"I'd like to thank you all for coming here. First off I'll be reversing several of my more…exploitive decisions." Kunikazu said.
Takakura along with other executives were surprised by this. Though mentally they were thankful for this.
"I will also be stepping down as CEO of Okumura Foods I'll be assigning Takakura to take the reins until Haru completes her education." Kunikazu said.
"I um thank you Okumura-Sama." Takakura said as he stood up and bowed.
The rest of them clapped for Takakura.
He sat back down as Kunikazu continued.
"I'll also be backing off the campaign for the Primacy. Well to correct myself I have backed a few weeks back." Kunikazu said.
"What happened back then?" An Executive asked.
"Simple my daughter is engaged with another man thanks to my wife may she rest in peace. With this engagement I've lost the support of the Sugimura's." Kunikazu said.
The executives and Takakura talked about this. The latter of them wondered if Haru would approve of this.
"Um Okumura-Sama is Haru happy with the arrangement?" Takakura asked.
"At first she didn't but after spending time with Amamiya she had grown to like him." Kunikazu said.
Takakura nodded.
"Lastly I explain how I turned our company into a black one during a Press Conference." Kunikazu said.
Everyone in the room nodded as they hammered out the details regarding the Press Conference soon they set a date for next week.
For the company it will be a new era. For Kunikazu he hopes to live to see Haru in a wedding dress.
Meanwhile with Haru and Ren
The both of them were on a train towards Yongen Jaya the both of them managed to get seats.
"Oh good at least we manage to get some seats." Haru said.
Ren nods as he relaxes. Haru places her head on Ren's Shoulder.
Ren smiles at this as he pulls out his phone and goes into a chatroom.

Ren then explained those involved. Sophia on the other hand remained silent during the journey.
Sophia decides to talk to Ren later.
Back to the chat to say the girls were angry is an understatement.
Futaba wanted the head of the Persona user that killed her mother.
Haru even said that she would help which led to this.

Soon they arrived at Yongen Jaya where Lavenza hugged him and went to café Leblanc.
With that they spend time together for a while.
One week later
November 17th
Unknown location
A tall, bald man with a small black goatee. He wears a business suit and a pair of orange-tinted square glasses is looking at the screen where he sees the Kunikazu's Press Conference.
He picks up the phone to make a call.
"Tell me did he say anything regarding our group?" The man asked.
"Nothing sir just what he did to get ahead of the competition." Another man said.
"I see very well by the way how are doing in getting rid of that stupid law?" The man asked.
"Nothing Shido-Sama the bastard gave it to the UN first before Japan pretty much forcing their hand on the matter." The man on the phone said.
"I see… at least the population will go up meaning more voters. Also call our hitman to my office." The now named Shido said.
Right away Shido-Sama. The man on the phone said.
Shido hung up. Thinking his next move.
"Hmmm… he may not have said anything in the Press Conference but I want to know if he told someone about us." Shido said.
"I don't think so Shido-san besides even if he told someone who would believe him." A young voice said.
The young man has shaggy, neck length brown hair with bangs and reddish-brown eyes. He wears a tan peacoat with black buttons, striped black and white tie, black pants, black gloves and black loafers. His casual winter outfit consists of a white long sleeve shirt with flaps under a blue argyle sweater vest, beige pants and brown shoes.
"Ah Akechi I'm glad to see you but I want to know if we can do something about?" Shido asked as the now named Akechi looked at his phone and activated an app.
This App was a black and Red app that resembles an eye.
It worked similarly to the App Ren had. It had the same input systems.
Akechi places the info he had for Kunikazu.
Candidate Invalid due to the Palace had been destroyed.
"I don't think we can but I believe we should keep an eye him." Akechi suggested.
Shido nods at this.
"Very well I'll have police and some Yakuza to watch them." Shido said.
"Ok then is there anything else you need?" Akechi asked.
"No Akechi but I'll let you know when needed." Shido said as he nodded.
Akechi bows and leaves.
With Akechi gone Shido asked himself what he should do. But then he realized he didn't need to worry he just needed to win the election and that would be it.
Meanwhile Akechi was thinking about how Kunikazu changed his heart.
"How in nine hells did they do?" Akechi asked himself.
He stops when a thought comes to him.
"There was no way he could change unless they demanded his Shadow to change?" Akechi said to himself.
Then another thought came to him.
"(Are they… like me)?" Akechi thought.
Akechi thinks about this as he leaves.
With that thought a great change had occurred in this world but that will be for later.
Meanwhile with Ren
Café Leblanc
Ren was laying on his bed as Sophia spoke to him.
"And that is why I want to find out if my dreams are real." Sophia said.
"I see… I'll think about it Sophia but if it's true it will help up." Ren said.
"Thank you Ren I'm just confused by them. I just want answers." Sophia said as Ren nods.
"Alright then but on the first sight of danger you run back to the entrance understood." Ren said as Sophia nods as well.
"Ok then I think it's time for bed Ren." Sophia said.
With that Ren falls asleep.
Wondering what will come next.
