Greetings everyone, NewtypeAuthor343 here, this is a crossover story on Monster Girls Encyclopedia and Dark Souls. Inspired by StaffSergeant's "The Good Hunter", a BloodbornexMGE crossover, and his other works that turn ecchi/hentai stuff into downright dark and bloody serious stories... and I like it. But hey, don't even think of me to look into this stuff. It has a lot of ecchi stuff in this series and yet has some Worldbuilding that I'm curious to look forwards to it.

Disclaimer: Both series involved in this story belonged to their respective Publishers.

Monster Girls Encyclopedia belonged to Kenkou Cross and Dark Souls to FromSoftware. I do not use this story for any profit, nor relating to the official works but only for genuine entertainment purposes.

Thank you and have a great read!

Extra Notes: It's been a long time and I forgot to give my thanks and credits for thefoolswriter and ManwithaPlan113 for Proofreading my earlier chapters from 1-14. Sadly, they didn't have time to help since they were busy IRL and I have to rely on Grammarly and ProWritingAid.

Prologue

...

...

...

*Thud*

The sound of steel and the clanking of metal boots quietly met the ashen ground, sending motes of ash into the air. There stood a warrior in his Elite Knight Armor, resting on his broadsword while panting heavily from the exertion. He stared down at his opponent, whose body was lying in the ashen earth still. The Soul of Cinder was defeated by his own hands.

"Finally..." Spoke the Ashen One, drawing deep breaths. "... It's over..."

He glanced his eyes away from the corpse of the Soul of Cinder as it crumbled into ashes and glanced towards the First Flame. It flickered idly in the middle of the ashen fields and old weapons. The flame itself slowly was dwindling. The Chosen Undead produced a soapstone and wrote it on the ground, and a few moments later, the Firekeeper emerged from the summoning sign before turning herself to the First Flame.

She walked over, and carefully caressed the Flames into her palms. The Chosen Undead felt satisfaction at what he had accomplished; the First Flame is no more, and the Age of Gods had ended so that the new age could be ushered in this ruined world.

"The First Flame quickly fades, darkness will shortly settle."

The Undead stood idly, watching the skies as the sun sets and the looming darkness suddenly crept over the lands across the horizon. The Age of Man had begun. This era of horrors and abominations had ended. It's been thousands of years since Gwyn intervened in the natural order to create a cycle of life and rebirth by linking himself to the Fire to extend the Age of Gods, triggering the Undead Curse. But now it was over.

"But one day, tiny flames will dance across the darkness. Like embers, linked by Lord's past."

As it may be true. He felt that somewhere out there, he could hear the embers of small flames crackling in the distance. When the darkness finally took over, there was complete silence. Nothing moved, and the Undead felt ashes slowly rising from his body. Did this mean he was now free from the curse and finally could rest in peace for all eternity? ...Well, the thought of it did not seem so bad after all.

For another few seconds of silence, the Firekeeper slowly turned around to where the Undead Warrior had been standing before the darkness had descended.

"Ashen One... hearest thou my voice still?"

...

...

After hearing her voice, his eyes shot wide open. Instead of seeing the Firekeeper, his vision saw light through the visor of his helmet. He slowly stood up and scanned his surroundings. The Ashen One finds himself in the middle of nowhere, a serene, peaceful-looking place of grassy fields and hills.

"Is this the afterlife?" He muttered to himself questioningly.

Weird, he did not feel any different from normal. When he checked himself, he found out that he was still in his Elite Knight Armor. The armaments he had been equipped with were also still with him; a broadsword, a Black Bow of Pharis with a quiver of arrows, and his Crest Shield were still strapped behind his back. Then the most important thing that came to his mind was a question.

"...Where in Izalith's Damnation am I?"

It didn't take long as the Ashen One realised he had landed in an unknown realm while the Gods of this world knew little about a mysterious anomaly that had arrived into their universe.

...

Chapter 1: A New World.

...

It had been a few months since the Ashen One finds himself transported into this unknown world. Coming into this place where the only first thing he hasn't felt for a very long time was hunger, the growling from his stomach reared its head for the first time in his existence that he could remember, yet his luck led him to stumble upon a field of cabbages just before he found the village that cultivated them.

When he arrived at the village, his only surprise was seeing children running around laughing while being chased by their mothers. They were living, breathing human beings since he had not seen one that wandered around Lothric, a kingdom that had once been so full of life. They would have already been long dead or had fled from that forsaken place before he had awakened from his grave within the Cemetery of Ash once the bells had tolled for the unkindled.

The knight gained a bit of information by asking the villagers and then the village chief told him about the unknown land he currently walked. The information he received was revealed to be in the Theocracy of Lescatie. A monarchy affiliated with a religious faction known as the Order. This kingdom, however, stood at the very edge of the borders of the Human Realm, and nearby was a debauched dark land known as the Demon Realm.

A land filled with demons and monsters. It is said that many adventurers and heroes went into these lands and never returned. So that means this world has its monsters, which may differ from his previous encounters in Lothric, and that may get him some wonderful challenges, right? Well, actually…

"Hey, is he from a Noble Family?"

The Ashen One slowly opened his eyes underneath his helmet and glanced over at the people whispering amongst themselves, whether he was some rich noble knight or a foreign mercenary with high prestige. He just smirked, his smile unseen from behind his visor as he let them gossip. He found himself inside an enclosed carriage and had been hired to be one of the Guards of a Merchant Caravan whilst heading towards the Capital of Lescatie.

"He seems to have very expensive armour."

"Aye, the qualities on those armour plates sure look very well made. Only a skilled craftsman could have made armoured plates like that."

"Some people might mistake him as an Order Knight because of the colour of that armour."

His inner mind scoffed at them. They have no idea that the quantity of this armour he was wearing is extremely valuable in the Mortal Realms back in his world, and most of his armour and pieces of equipment are all heavily reinforced with special ores known as Titanite, a godly mineral which is crafted under the hands of an unknown Blacksmith God. Titanite came in various varieties, such as shards and they were rare to find around his homeland, but larger ones like chunks and slabs are extremely hard to get. A handful of chunks is as worth buying a single castle, a big fleet of ships, or huge tracks of lands.

'This day bores me a lot.'

The knight thought to himself slowly, closing his eyes once more, thinking about what the Firekeeper, Andre, and all the others had been doing since he disappeared from his world. He had been undead and now reverted to a human by mysterious means once he had arrived here. It would be a shock for them if he ever came back. If it were possible to find a way back to Firelink Shrine to let them know he was free from the Curse. There was no darksign on his chest as the Flames had already died out once he was reborn again as a human in a brand new world.

After killing hideous monsters and hollowed gods on his long journey. It was tiresome, at least to think of the past he was dozing. Until he was jolted awake when the carriage rocked violently once the coachman halted the horses after someone screamed out a warning.

"Monsters! Arm yourselves men!"

From the trees of the forest, pinkish humanoids rushed out as other mercenaries tried to protect the caravans. Their swords clashed against hardwood and stone before some unlucky men screamed in terror as they were dragged under the shadows of the forests by these strange humanoids.

"Tonight, we feast with our newly found husbands!" screamed a High Orc who raised her club in triumph.

The lowly Orcs cheered victoriously as they rushed over to the caravans in great numbers. However, they halted in their tracks after the first Orcs in the line were cleaved horizontally in half. They stared in horror to witness their fallen comrade's body fall to the ground with a wet splat. Before looking up to see their killer, there stood a Silver-Blue Knight wielding a claymore. His blade was longer, which they had never seen before, and they stood paralyzed to see this individual knight, producing a menacing aura right in front of them.

The Knight said no words before charging at the Orcs and started killing them with every swing, hacking them into pieces through limbs, heads and bodies. The High Orc stood frozen at witnessing such a brutal display of bloodletting caused by a single human with such abnormal strength and precision, which only a hero could do such feats. Only the knight himself did all of this while doing so with no hesitation in the slightest to kill her fellow sisters-in-arms. She gritted her teeth in anger and charged toward the Knight to stop his bloody rampage, yet only in an instant, she receives his large blade that pierced through her chest.

He dragged the blade downwards before ripping the blade from her abdomen, pulling her organs out with it. A moment of silence fell across the battlefield; the High Orc's still-standing corpse spurted a vast amount of blood everywhere before hitting the ground with a dull thud. The sight of the knight killing her leader in such a horrific manner terrified the remaining Orcs into a panicked flight, disappearing into the trees in terror while the men that they had captured were left alone after their battle with the menacing enemy. While the horde fled, the knight slaughtered some of their fleeting sisters, who stayed behind without mercy.

The men watched in disgust, yet were awed by the knight's prowess until they broke cheering in victory for the foreign Knight.

"You did a fine job of scaring them away!" One mercenary spoke in relief and joy. "If we get to Lescatie, we'll share our drinks! Together!"

"It was... nothing." The Ashen One flatly replied while he wiped the blood from his claymore. "We have to continue our trek. This place is swarming with them."

"Alright lads, we have to keep moving!" The Leading Mercenary yelled out. "Don't waste your time cheering for victory or else you'd be captured by other monsters than Orcs!"

The mercenaries understood immediately as they embarked on their carriages. The Ashen One sat on the coach of the lead carriage before departing to Lescatie and the Coachman turned his head eyes, gazing silently towards the Knight.

"So Ash, was it? Right?" The Coachman asked the Ashen One, now named Ash. "Since you are a foreigner, I would like to know which lands to do you hail from?"

"It's... complicated," Ash replied flatly with a gruff voice. "The land where I lived is already dead."

The Coachman had a feeling of unease coming from the knight, yet he nodded in silence and thought better not to ask further about his past. The Ashen One glanced his eyes to him, he noticed the Coachman was having thoughts about a land where he once lived may have been overrun by monsters. Ash chuckled silently. That may be true since there are monsters already running rampant in Lothric and in other fallen kingdoms. However, their types were not in the form of lusty humanoid female "monsters" of this world.

By the flames, his thoughts compared the monsters from the lands where he came from totally eclipsed them when put in comparison to the monsters of this world and he swore he could hear the spirits of Gwyn and the old Lordran Gods laughing at this world and then at him. His fate was to be stuck in this new world, and the current situation of the world itself was absolutely pathetic at its best.

Ash sighed, face-palming to himself in embarrassment despite his still closed helmet visor. None of these monsters he had encountered could reach his calibre of martial prowess and no matter how fast they were or how strong they were said to be by the local people, they ended up dying in droves to his blade in his previous encounters. Even those that believed that they were magically strong, those as well, ended the same way dead at his feet.

Therefore... these so-called "monsters" were considered an insult to any monsters he had seen in his previous journeys and even to any battle-hardened warrior who expects glory, honourable prestige and deaths in a battle.

"Finally! We've reached the capital." Exclaimed the coachman.

The men cheered at the sight of human civilization. The Ashen One exhaled a breath of relief, as now he was to earn his fifth monthly paycheck. After all, earning money in this new world is faster than he expected.

...

The City of Lescatie.

...

Once they arrived at the city gates, the Ashen One bid farewell to the caravan group before heading to the Mercenary Guild to get his reward.

"H-Here you go, 1.250 Gold!" The receptionist said meekly out of fear behind the counter while nervously doing a respective bow. "H-Have a good day, sir!"

The Ashen One grabbed the pouch of gold and nodded, giving his thanks to the Guild Official before leaving the building. The knight strolled through the streets and entered the poorer areas within the City of Lescatie, the Slums, and of course, what was nearby was the red-light district.

The Slum-dwellers watched cautiously as soon as they witnessed the knight walk through the dark streets with his armoured plates that produced sounds of clacking metal which echoed through the silence of the alleyways. Even beggars stopped begging because of his menacing appearance and even some gangs avoid confronting him. Therefore, none dared to try to provoke his ire.

The Ashen One glanced his eyes to a nearby building which was the Church and another frame to the side that served as the orphanage. He set his eyes on a nun hanging along with the joyous children who were running around and playing games. She had long aqua-green hair and wore an ornamental priestess outfit. But in a very revealing design, he questioned himself about their choice of attire. Yet that didn't matter, and whether it was part of their culture. It was none of his business.

Just as he walked past the orphanage, the Knight felt a tingling sensation coming from the nun. He turned his head and noticed her eyes were silently staring at him. Ash knew those eyes were of curiosity and suspicion; yet by the looks of it are not the eyes of an amateur but that of a professional, no matter how normal she looked. The nun was a person he needed to be careful about, and he should keep his guard up around her.

After half an hour of walking through the slums, he finally reached his home. His house was built decently, and a bit isolated from the rest of the slums. He reached for his key, unlocked the door, and turned the doorknob before entering. The intersection of the house was quite clean, with most walls and furniture made of wood and sometimes covered in dust and spider webs. There is a fireplace and a chimney leading up to the roof, a small kitchen, a single bedroom, and of course a small privy chamber. He knew he needed shelter as he wasn't an Undead anymore, while his old strength remained in his new body; he had gained the less pleasant everyday needs. However, the food was not one of them.

Ash went into the living room and grabbed a book from one of the wooden shelves. He reads the title "The Monster Girls Encyclopedia" before sitting down on a wooden chair to relax.

He got this book from someone who accidentally dropped it on the streets after encountering these so-called "monsters" and that was during the day when he first arrived in the capital city after travelling for three days from the village he had stumbled upon since his mysterious arrival into this new world. At first, he might think that someone with a God-ridden mind wrote these, but those female monsters he had encountered beforehand gave him some curiosity to know their traits.

The Ashen One still cringed even after many times he read the book, the Encyclopedia gave out exact details and pieces of information about monster girls but the secondary pictures which are rather unnecessary for a reader like him and he believed it was drawn by someone who wrote about their actual "activities" and escaped from their clutches for the sake of information. He then wondered to himself, how could a person be so lucky to escape so many times? But that did not matter. Regarding this information, the monsters of this current world were truly pathetic.

But where does this history start? Well, according to the book...

Centuries ago, the monsters were once hideous beings that sought human flesh and were led by the Demon Lords in the previous ages to end humanity and turned them into slaves and food for the monsters. That may have been a fitting time for him to live in a world like that, to be challenged by the monster of that time. But all that changed when a succubus ascended to the Throne and became the new Demon Lord. Then she married a hero who was humanity's strongest. Her sole purpose was not to war against the Humans but to create a peaceful coexistence between the two races, breaking the cycle of blood; that had resulted in turning every monster around the world into beautiful girls that are still roaming around today.

However, these monsters were not ridden with bloodlust like their ancestors did, from that day of their transformation; their only goal is to direct their romantic lust towards human men, and most of the time they drag these men from human society then never to be seen again. The monster girls that do this method are called "Husband Hunting". He frowned at this. These monster girls didn't think about anything but getting a human male as their lifelong companion like a husband, raising their offspring, and, of course, having non-stop intercourse with them. In other cases, the men also ended up like slaves. One of the mamono species, such as the Orcs he encountered previously, wanted to have their husband by turning them into one unless they were weak, and then there are dark elves who used them for sadistic purposes. Others were used like servants under the control of the vampires and treated their chosen mates as livestock as well before turning into Incubi.

Then again, he pitied them, a pity from a former undead who came from a world where monsters killed any person they came across without hesitation.

Next was the Order, a religious organisation that had a great and powerful influence across the human realms except for some human nations which were monster-friendly, much to his amusement. But the Order itself was a religious superpower in this world and has the overall military authority and political power over the human nations aligned with them, and the way they ruled is other than the religion itself.

Since their dominant religion is to worship a God known as the Chief God, and the vast majority of people practised it. The organisation even had several zealous Inquisition branches, too. But they were not perceived in a positive light by the locals due to rumours about them and their questionable law-breaking habits.

One thing he knew was that considered reading the Encyclopedia to be heresy by Order Law. He remembered when he encountered a group of Inquisition members in the alleyways of the Slums after picking up that book. They had tried to attack him with no questions asked before they received their bloody end and none would recover the bodies he had seen to that. But that was not all. The worst case is for power, an individual few who have higher influences and saving their own faces rather than meet shame and the opinion of the people. One instant, when he learned about their bureaucratic actions from the Lescatian Nobility, they were overall corrupted to the core because of their discrimination that looked down on the simple common folk.

As his mind recollected the information he had gathered thus far and laid it before him, this nation he was currently living in was also one of the Order Nations, but Lescatie is not just some ordinary kingdom; it is one of the most important locations to the Order because this region alone produced high-quality Heroes that kept the monsters at bay. He sighed in pity once more, while shaking his head in disappointment. The real problem was that the Heroes themselves were young and also very inexperienced. They were sent into battle before receiving their tragic ends. The powers of the Succubus lured them using Demonic Energy, and female heroes are even more vulnerable to their powerful influence that lust often overcame their minds quickly or through other means.

Now he questions why would the Order send females to fight them as they knew how vulnerable they are? He couldn't guess, but Ash knew this issue is that they will come back as monsters, leading the Heroes unable to fight them on equal grounds under the means of psychological warfare.

But there was one thing he was unsure about... and that was Ash himself. He had met some stray succubus in his encounters, and they had attempted to charm him with various methods, but to no avail, until he slaughtered them all without hesitation. He even encountered some famous warriors and heroes of Lescatie with powerful wills and motivation to defeat the monsters, only to fall quickly to their charming powers with little to no resistance. Yet in one case, Ash admits he was the only oddity in this world because of two things:

First, he has a soul, and second, he doesn't have any mana? As said by a peculiar succubus shortly before her demise by his own hands, and in much to his confusion, they called him a "Soulless Husk" and a "Freak". The Encyclopedia described Mana as the "Essence of Life" or "Spirit Energy".

Upon understanding the laws and basic rules of this world, he compiled the information in his mind and analysed it in detail. Every living being has Mana whilst the Monster Girls have their own essence of life and can corrupt Spirit Energy once they get in touch with other sentient life-forms such as their human victims. But he doesn't know if he has one and his own life force differs from their own. Unlike the spellcasters who used to draw mana from their environments, males have more regenerative mana than their female counterparts. Rather than that method, he used focus to draw the Lord's power to produce magic from his soul with the suitable affinity such as Intelligence and Faith to make Sorcery, Miracles, and Pyromancy. To make more powerful magic, he had to raise his Attunement after defeating stronger foes, nothing more and neither less. This also goes the same for female spellcasters at the same rate as the males do in his old world.

Thus he comes up to a belief that he is the only being within this world who is capable to manipulate and draw the powers of the Lords from his soul and somehow his entire life force rejected Demonic Energy like a strong flame that burns it away like a ferocious beast savaging a trespasser on its territory.

"Living in this world makes such life easier," Ash said to himself as he closed the Encyclopedia before putting it back on a bookshelf.

*Knock!*Knock!*Knock!*

Suddenly, he heard several knocks on the door. The Ashen One went to the door's entrance, taking a small peek through the peephole. He saw a girl with light-blue hair, wearing some white noble attire, with little armour, a red cape, and a sword strapped to her hip. It was one of the famous Heroes of Lescatie. And he sighed before slowly opening the door.

"What do you want?" He spoke in a gruff voice.

The heroine stiffened at his menacing look before keeping her composure.

"G-Greetings, I am Willmar-"

"Wilmarina Noscrim, Leader of the Ice Flower Order... what does a heroine as you want with me?" The Ashen One interrupted the Heroine, much to her surprise. "Let me guess... this is it some sort of recruitment offer from the Order?"

"I-I only received their request on their behalf." The Heroine explained nervously. "It is because of an increasing number of monsters that are active within the outside regions... The Order of the Chief God would like to recruit-"

"Not interested." The Ashen One interrupts once more with an unimpressive look. "Tell them to recruit someone else, but not me."

"B-But sir! Because of your actions, the people who have witnessed you have spread rumours amongst the people of Lescatie!" Wilmarina desperately spoke up. "It is said that you have slain even the strongest monsters that the Heroes have difficulty to deal with them, so please-"

"No, I said no, and it means no. And it is my decision not to join." The Ashen One growled, furrowing his brow with a stern gaze while crossing his arms.

Wilmarina stood back, appalled at his answer, and was hesitant to back down. This mission was of the utmost importance for the Order, and she knew that whenever the Order chose someone who got their attention and interests, it would give them the luxury and privilege to strengthen humankind's efforts under the Chief God and become a hero. Yet he had rejected their invitation outright, and the Order would see him as a heathen. However, she felt the knight's menacing aura that sent cold shivers down her spine. Admitting to herself that there was no way to convince him before giving out a defeated sigh.

"I-I see then... I apologise that I have disturbed your peace." She bowed to him respectively in an apology. "I shall take my leave."

He shrugged his shoulders. "Very well. I just want to be on my own."

With that, he closed the door as the Heroine left. Ash looked out from the window to see her walking away within a distance before closing the window curtains.

"Even rumours about me have spread across the city." He muttered to himself bitterly. "But that isn't even my problem. If the Order dares to cross paths with me, then I swear to the Flames that I will make an example of them."

Meanwhile, in the alleyways of the slums. Merse Dascaros was leaning against the wall and watched Wilmarina coming to her side with her head hung low in defeat. She sighed in pity before patting her shoulders.

"No luck, huh?" Merse said. "Did the man give you trouble?"

"No, he just doesn't want to join." Wilmarina tilted her head sideways. "But there's no doubt that the Order will still send the priests to recruit him, but I doubt they will convince him."

"Hmm, he's a strange one." Merse mused curiously. "It's extremely rare for someone to turn down an offer by the Order. There's a very good chance that he would become a hero."

"Merse... Do you think that the Order would likely take him in?" Willmarina spoke with her voice a bit shaken. "There is... something which feels off about him."

"What do you mean?" Merse asked, raising her eyebrow above her eye patch in confusion.

"That person... when our eyes met..." Then Willmarina swallowed a lump in her throat. "I've sensed that man... has no Mana."

Merse's eyes widened in surprise. A person with no Mana? Impossible. No one should be alive without it. If it were true about Silver-Blue Knight, then the Order would probably take a great interest in him before taking him into their custody and then interrogating the Knight about his questionable existence, but he is no monster, as his appearance is fully human and acts like one. She dreaded to think that they might experiment with him for their cause.

"Come, we have work to do," Merse said while grabbing her spear. "Best not to tell anyone about him."

The Heroine nodded before taking the nearest route towards an alleyway that led to the Slum's exit.

As the sun sets and darkness took over the skies, the stars glittered. Ash was about to finish reading the encyclopedia, but then his senses tingled in a warning. Someone's watching him. He went to the window and took a small peek through the curtains. His eyes caught the direction from where it was coming. Several dark silhouettes were standing on the rooftops under the moonlight. He noticed fourteen pairs of eyes were gazing at his house. He grimaced before equipping himself with his broadsword and knives until he puts on his helmet.

Someone is going to die tonight and their death will be inevitable.

Meanwhile, Sasaki and six of her fellow Kunoichis have located the home of their target. The home of the Silver-Blue Knight. A man whose infirmary and rumoured prowess in battle had spread fast amongst the Mamono, who they described as an extremely menacing and deadly male Knight garbed in a blue and silver armour, swiftly killing any mamono without hesitation or remorse.

The rumours had also stated that even the charm of the succubus didn't even have an effect on him. Their fearful gossip had even reached the ears of Druella, one of the nine eldest daughters of the Demon Lord who is currently planning a campaign to conquer Lescatie. If the rumours were true, the Princess ordered the Kunoichis to track him down and dispatch him.

Their only plan they came up with was simple; lure him to their side with their charming ways that were always successful and erase the fearful rumour that deteriorated the morale of the monster army. It was rumoured that the Order had created some unknown magic to protect him from the influence of Demonic Energy, but that wasn't the case and they dismissed it as wild fancy.

This man wasn't part of the Order and, of course, he was an odd one. They had tracked him down through hearing the rumours of the citizens of Lescatie that he lived somewhere in the slums and after a lot of patience they found the knight that matched the proper description of a Silver-Blue armoured knight. She sensed when they followed him home... there was something empty about him as if he had no mana. This was impossible. No being should be alive without mana.

"Sasaki, orders?" One of her Kunoichis asked.

"We have to split and observe before we have to take action." She replied seriously. "I have a bad feeling that this man is very dangerous."

The Kunoichis jumped from the walls and rooftops to reach the house and tried to observe the target's activities through the windows. The house inside grew dark and the lack of his scent and mana made it impossible to track him across the building.

"Weird. Someone's supposed to be here when the lights were once on." Spoke one of the Kunoichis. "I don't smell his scent, and where is he?"

"He must be removing his armour," said another while fantasising about their target, making the others blush. Imagining the knight without his clothes, then they thought of the knight as their husband crossed their minds.

While the oriental succubus was fantasising about the knight. Out from the shadows behind, one of them moved. Suddenly, a leather glove swiftly covered the succubus' mouth to prevent her from screaming before a blade struck the back of her neck, piercing the flesh and it was ripped across her neck to her windpipe. The Ashen One gently placed the body on the floor without a sound. He was glad that he still had his Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring to mask the sounds of his footsteps.

He still had the ring, which had been secured in his bottomless box until he needed to use it. Even though he is a knight and not an Assassin that he can sneak up on his enemies. Yet back in homeworld, when you play by the rules, then you die by the rules foes and the only way he had survived the land of lords was to adapt and overcome its dangers.

Inside his house, Sasaki noticed that one of her Kunoichi had just gone missing.

"Where's Mia?" asked Sasaki, looking around dumbfounded

Suddenly, she heard muffling sounds of steel slicing through flesh, which made the hair on the back of her neck stand straight. Yui, her Kunoichi who was standing nearby, felt a knife strike into the left artery in her neck. The knife's blade exited her windpipe as she fell to the ground with a bloodcurdling gargle, and Sasaki stood back in shock before looking up to see a terrifying-looking Knight with his armour soaked in blood. He stood beside the still living Yui before crushing her head into a bloody pulp with his boot. Sasaki felt an icy chill and couldn't move. She attempted to cast a charm on him, but it wouldn't work.

This... thing, this thing, was no mere man at all! She felt her knees weaken before kneeling to the ground and begging for his mercy.

"Please! Please don't kill me!" she begged for her life grovelling with her forehead on the floor. "Please! I don't want to die! I... I want to live and have a husband!"

The Ashen One stood there with cautious eyes, and he slowly raised his broadsword and took a step to the side. The tip of his blade now pointing against her neck, its length gave an icy touch.

"You intruded on my property and threatened me with weapons. I demand your name and that of your employer." The Ashen One spoke in an indifferent tone. He knew these intruders were Kunoichi. They were succubus monster girls who were assassins coming from the Far East known as Zipangu. They were important assets who were sought after by the Demon Realm, and even by monster-friendly nations. Killing them all will be a waste because the information they had was necessary to build a picture of what he was dealing with.

"I-I am S-Sasaki, E-employed by the-the F-Fourth Princess o-of the Demon Realm, Druella." Sasaki stuttered in fear.

"You are lucky that you gave up your employer or you would not have had my mercy." The Ashen One stated coldly, still gripping the tip of his sword, holding it like a snake ready to strike the monster's neck. "Next question: Why were you sent?"

"We came here if the rumours were true that one man had slain all those mamono by himself without hesitation," Sasaki replied slowly as the tip of the knight's blade hovering near her neck made thinking clearly difficult.

'Even my actions have reached the ears of the Demon Princess herself, huh.'

"I will say this only once to make sure your employer hears this message: Leave. me. be." He warned in a bitter tone behind his helmet. "If one of you sent another to kill or seduce me, then I will send them back into pieces. If they do not stop trying, then I will come and kill you all until you do."

After hearing this, Sasaki gulped as the tip of the blade pulled back. The lone Kunoichi left the house quickly. The fear in her heart gave her greater speed than she had ever known before she jumped up into the rooftops and vanished from his sight. Despite the knight losing her sight, her mind panicked non-stop.

'I have to warn Druella!'

The Ashen One grimaced. He had a feeling that he was going to get involved in a situation beyond his control.

"By Izalith, here we go again."

At that moment, the Silver-Blue Knight of Lescatie had truly begun his legend, which will bring fear into both the hearts of men and monsters.

Chapter 1: Ends.
