Bonnie and Elena were both working at the cafe and it was a very busy Saturday afternoon. After Elena got done serving a few customers she walked back around the counter as she noticed Bonnie was texting on her cell." Still trying to get a hold of Jeremy? "
Bonnie sighs with a nod as she kept staring at her phone and the text. For the past three days Bonnie has been trying to get a,hold of Jeremy. She tried calling him and texting him. But nothing. Bonnie can't help but worry that something must have happened to him. This wasn't like Jeremy, for him to just ignore her this way.
" I hate to say it Bon. But I think Jeremy is definitely cheating on you." Elena saying as she placed her hand gently on Bonnie's shoulder. " I mean, all the signs are clearly there."
Bonnie closed her eyes as she kept the tears starting to fall." I know you and everyone else, thinks that I'm naive or that I'm in denial of what's been going on. But I'm not. I just refuse to believe it. Because if I actually do believe that Jeremy is cheating on me, then it becomes real and I don't think I can handle that." She said admittedly as she grabbed her jacket and her purse.
" Where are you going?" Elena asked with concern as she watched Bonnie walking away from the counter.
" I gotta get out of here. I will be back little later. " Was,all Bonnie said as she walked out of the cafe and got into her car. Bonnie isn't quite sure where she's going or why. But all she knows she needs to think and she can't do it at the cafe. She also needs to talk to Jeremy and ask him what the hell is going on.
Pulling away from the cafe, Bonnie headed towards her grams. Before Bonnie could even talk to Jeremy. Bonnie needs some advice about how to handle this situation with Jeremy and the only person who can give her advice. Is her grams.
Walking through her grams front door. Bonnie set her purse and jacket on the couch as she walked into the kitchen. She smiles softly as she noticed Grams was sitting at the kitchen table doing some reading. " Hey Grams." Bonnie greeted as she gave grams a kiss on the. cheek before heading towards the refrigerator to grab something to drink.
" Hey baby. Aren't you supposed to be at the cafe?" Shelia asked as she looked up from her book.
Bonnie shrugs her shoulders as she took a sip of her bottle of water." I needed to take a break and I told Elena that I will be back soon." Bonnie said as she walked over to the kitchen table and sat across from Grams.
" What's wrong?" Shelia asked suspiciously as she closed her book. Giving Bonnie her absolute full attention.
" What makes you think something is wrong?" Bonnie asked trying to play it off.
" Because you're here right in the middle of your shift and you left poor Elena alone at the cafe to deal with customers on her own, I might add. Especially on a very busy Friday afternoon. So something is clearly wrong and that's why you came to see me."
Bonnie deeply sighs as she looks down at the table for a moment." Well, I need advice on something. Well more of answer to my question actually." Bonnie said nervously as she took another drink of her water as she was wondering how to ask the question.
" Well, out with it child. What's the question?. " Shelia asked as she watched Bonnie for a moment.
Bonnie took a deep breath and blurts out her question. " How did you find out Granddaddy was cheating on you?" Bonnie doesn't really want to believe that Jeremy is cheating on her. But the signs are clearly there and it's about damn time she does something about it before it becomes too late.
" Well, that's easy. I caught him and his mistress in bed together." Shelia remembered that day like it was yesterday. She had just gotten home from a long day at the college and that's when she heard some strange noises coming from her own bedroom. As Shelia got closer and opened the door she found her husband who's now her ex husband in bed with another woman. She kicked him out and filed for divorce the next day. That's was when Abby was only fifteen.
" Yeah, I sorta remembered mom telling me what happened. She didn't give me all the details. All she said you caught them and kicked granddaddy out." Bonnie doesn't really know that much about her grandfather since he died before she was born. All she knew was that he and her grams have been divorced for quite some time because of his cheating.
" Do you think Jeremy is cheating on you?"
Bonnie shrugs her shoulders." I honestly don't know. I want to honestly believe that he's not. But I don't know grams. Ever since I found out his ex girlfriend Anna from high school has been staying with him. I haven't heard from him. I even tried calling him for almost a week now and he hasn't returned any of my calls."
" Sounds like a red flag. A very huge red flag and I think it's time you do something about it."
" But that's just the thing though. I have no idea what to do grams."
Shelia chuckled lightly as she shook her head." You're a smart woman Bonnie Bennett and you'll know what to do. You just gotta come up with something and be more creative." She said with a mischievous smirk at the corner of her mouth.
Bonnie snorts and shakes her head. But she knows Gram's right. Bonnie needs to do something about Jeremy. She needs to know and see it for herself if Jeremy is cheating on her. What Bonnie needs to do is have a conversation with Anna. Bonnie needs answers and Anna is the only person that can give her the answers she needs.
Anna was leading against her locker as she closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. She just spent the last ten minutes in the ladies restroom puking her guts out. Anna has been throwing up since this morning. Jeremy tried to get Anna to stay home today and rest. But she didn't feel like staying home. She already missed a week of work already, and not only that. Anna felt like she needed to get out of the house for a while.
Anna placed her hands against her stomach as she took another deep breath. A few nights ago as she was getting ready for bed. Anna looked down and noticed her stomach had a little bump already. She hasn't told Jeremy yet since she already knows what he's gonna say. So she's been wearing dark and loose shirts to cover it up. Anna would rather not hide her pregnancy. But since nobody knows she's pregnant and of course Jeremy still doesn't want to tell Bonnie for selfish reasons. Anna has no choice right now.
" Are you okay?" Another waitress Nora asked as she walked into the break room and noticed Anna was leading against the lockers. " Are you sick or something? Maybe you should ask Matt if you could go home." She suggested as she opened her locker and grabbed her bag of lunch
Anna shook her head no as she pushed herself off from the lockers." I will be fine. I must have ate something this morning that didn't agree with my stomach. It'll pass soon. Is it still busy out there?" She asked as she started to walk out of the break room.
" Yeah, and Matt's looking for you. He needs you behind the bar and start serving drinks."
" I thought Jeremy was doing that." Anna said as she brought her eyebrows together. Anna was supposed to be waitressing and Jeremy was supposed to be serving drinks behind the bar tonight.
" Matt has Jeremy doing deliveries instead. One of the driver's never showed up for his shift." Nora responded with a shrug as she took a bite of her sandwich.
Anna sighs as she shook her head." Perfect. " She mutters under her breath as she walked out of the break room and headed towards the bar. As much as Anna really doesn't mind serving drinks to customers, Tonight she wasn't up for it. But since Matt needs a bartender tonight, Anna is just gonna have to suck it up and deal with it.
" Caroline, your staring at her again." Klaus observed with a smirk. Ever since he and Caroline had walked through the door of the Grill. Klaus has noticed Caroline has been watching Anna and Klaus can't help but wonder why. " Do you want to ask her for another refill?" He asked as he noticed Caroline's glass was already empty.
Caroline rolls her eyes as she cross her arms across her chest and leans back against her chair." No what I wanna do is go right up to her and punch her lights out." Ever since Caroline found out that Anna is back in Mystic Falls and staying with Jeremy, who's supposed to be Bonnie's boyfriend. Caroline has been wanting to confront Anna and proved to Bonnie that's there's something clearly going on between those two.
" Oh come on love." I am sure you don't really mean that." Klaus said with a small grin." Besides what did that poor girl ever do to you anyway?" He asked with a chuckle.
Caroline rolls her eyes as she huffs out and rest her arms against the table as she leans forward." You wanna know what she did? Well, I will tell you. She comes back to Mystic Falls and all of sudden she's staying with Jeremy Gilbert, and what's worse? Matt freaking hires that homewecker as soon as she walked through the damn door." Caroline stated angrily.
" Are you saying, that you want a job at the grill? Or you wanna live with Jeremy Gilbert?" Klaus asked with a smirk as he teased his wife for a moment. He laughs as felt Caroline throw something at him." I was joking babe."
" Never joke about something that Klaus Mikelson. Or you will end up sleeping on our couch tonight." Caroline said glaring at him for a moment as she sighs heavily before continuing." For your information Jeremy is Bonnie's boyfriend or he's supposed to be. But instead of focusing on Bonnie like he's supposed to. He's been focusing on that bitch, and I'm not liking it."
" Don't you think it's best to stay out of it. Whatever is going on. It's between them. Just let Bonnie handle it love." Klaus said as he reaches for Caroline's hand." What I want to do right now is take my very beautiful, very sexy wife home and focus on her tonight." Klaus said seductively.
Caroline smirks as she stood up and leans forward." Mhmmm, then maybe you should take her home then." Caroline whispers against his lips as she gently bit her bottom lip and giggles softly.
After paying the bill for their dinner. Klaus walked back to their table as he reaches for Caroline and pulls her closer against him as he leans down and captures Caroline's lips with his in a very heated and passionate kiss as he wraps his arms around her waist and pulls Caroline more against his body ax he groans softly and gently pulls on her bottom lip.
" Let's go home love." He whispers against her lips.
Caroline nods her head as she grins against his lips." Let's get out of here." Caroline grabs her stuff as she felt Klaus pulling her away from their table and out the door. As Caroline followed Klaus out of the grill, Caroline stopped by the door for a moment as she glanced over at the bar and watched Anna serving drinks for customers. Caroline knows there's something going on between Jeremy and Anna. All she needs to do is prove it. She also knows once she can prove it and the moment Caroline tells Bonnie, it's gonna hurt Bonnie. Might even crush her. But Bonnie needs to know the truth and Caroline is the only person who can give it to her.
AN: I know most of you are not liking the way I am writing Bonnie. But don't worry its still early in the story and Bonnie knows what's going on. She's just not sure what to about it. But she'll think of something. Oh and of course little miss Caroline can't stay out of it. Hope this chapter was good for you all. Happy reading everyone and as always leave reviews.
