At first this piece of writing was going to be about a friend of mine then it got too mushy- gushy so I easily turned it into a Link Malon love thing. It's in Malon's PoV. To be away, away from you
For as long as I was,
The almost indescribable feeling.
The cold empty chair.
I have few other friends,
But none are like you.
There's nothing like your company.
When you came back,
Every minuet changed.
As you walked in
There was a moment
Between us, but only just a moment.
Oh, how I cherish that!
Just you and I alone
Nothing, nobody else existed
I remember it so clearly.
There's love for you inside me.
I want you to have it, to cherish it.
But I'm afraid;
Afraid of the pain
Of the heartbreak so easily caused.
I don't want to be hurt again
But no matter how hard I try to stop it,
It will come; I will be in pain again
I know you'll leave.
You'll go back to wherever you came from
And forget about me.
"After all what's so special about her to remember?"
You'll say "She's just a farm girl, nothing more."
So this is why I'm telling you now,
I'm finally facing my fear.
I'd rather you know and remember me,
Then not know and forget me.
