Starry Configurations

Disclaimer: I don't own Stargate or the character in this story.

AN: This is my first attempt at a drabble, I hope it's decent. Title is a Jets to Brazil song, which kind of inspired the fic.

Summary: Sometimes, at night, he would pretend to recognize the sky.

Sometimes, at night, he would pretend to recognize the sky. It was easy to fake Ursa Major, and he could piece together Scorpius if he really tried.

Once, he tried to show Teyla, but her people had their own constellations.

His divine recombination failed him.

His Ursa Major was the wrong shape, Scorpius was missing two stars. There was nothing even close to Cassiopeia.

On a cold metal balcony that was both literally and figuratively light years from home, breathing in salty air that served only to make him miss California more, Aiden Ford hated himself for minoring in astronomy.
