Chapter 4
Into the Badlands
"I can't believe were doing this" Michal muttered as they rode in a wagon
It was true; the four of them had joined the Black Dogs as "temporary muscle". It wasn't easy getting in and took some … convincing to join up. It started when the four of them found a recruitment drive for the Black Dogs in a neighboring village, that was the easy part but joining was the hard part. You see when the recruiter named Hicks saw us, he laughed at us saying "this is not for babies, go run home kids". Of course after he said that Eric and his friends then decided to prove themselves…by beating the living snot out of a couple of their people, which they all kind of enjoyed a little. Once they saw our skill, Vault himself decided to let us join them which brings them to here.
"Well, at least we'll get into Olga's fortress now" Eric said leaning back against the wagon's wall
"True and as an added bonus, we get to keep our clothes and not where those ugly uniforms they have" Kelvin added
It was true, one of the conditions they had for joining the Black Dogs was they didn't have wear there uniforms. So Eric wore a white long-sleeve shirt with a white vest with a picture of a gold tiger on the back. Along with that he also wore black jeans and shoes. Michal wore a short sleeve shirt and a white jacket over it with golden checker pattern; he also wore black sweatpants and white tennis shoes. Alex wore, to everyone's surprise, was the S.P.D uniforms with white accents. Lastly there was Kelvin that had the white Jungle Fury uniform from the show. They actually had these uniforms for a while but they never had a reason to use them until now that is.
"Hey kids" a voice said getting their attention
Looking over they saw it was Hicks, who was sporting a black eye courtesy of Michal.
"How are you all doing back here?" he asked making everyone shrug
"Fine I guess" Eric replied which made Hick nod in satisfaction
He then gained a smirk on his face as he looked at the four of them.
"So…I heard you meet Kaguya" Hicks said
Eric and the others frowned at this, already seeing what he was trying to do.
"Yeah, so what?" Eric asked, making Hicks chuckle
"Well, from what I heard she tortured you with one her talismans and just left without an apologize" He said with a small smirk, "Some princess huh?" he said
He then waited for a reaction from me but all Eric did was just smile.
"Actually, that not really true" Eric replied
(Flashback)
All four of them had made their way back to the bakery, ready to open back up. Though before they could Eric then heard someone call his name, it started soft until it started to become clear. Turning to the voice Eric saw it was Kaguya of all people walking towards him.
"Mister Eric" she addressed as Eric bowed
"Your majesty, how may I help you?" Eric asked
"Nothing much I was just hoping if I can have some of your time" she said
Eric then cocked his eyebrow in confusion, wondering what she wanted. Then to Eric's surprise Kaguya then deeply bowed to Eric.
"Please, I humbly request your forgiveness for the way I treated you" she said
Eric was in shock at this, after all this was Kaguya, one of the alliances main princess's and here she was asking for forgiveness. Now any other person would use this chance to blackmail someone as influential as Kaguya but not Eric, for all he did was just place a hand on her shoulder and just smiled.
"Don't worry about, I don't blame you at all" Eric said
Kaguya then looked up in shock at what he said.
"What!? Just like that, but I hurt you!" She said in disbelief
But all Eric did was just smile and pat her head, much to her surprise.
"Maybe, but you were just doing what seemed right at the time, so no big deal" Eric replied
Seeing the sincerity in he's eyes, Kaguya felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders. So with a bow and a thank you she then made her way back to her carriage with smile on her face.
(End Flashback)
As Hicks heard this, he's face turned from smirk to frown causing him to walk away from them. Once he left Eric couldn't help but sport a confident smile on his face.
"Why to stick to him man" Alex said making Eric beam
"I'll say, he wanted me to hate the princess's but all he got was nothing in the end" Eric said making everyone smirk

In the front of the traveling party was the Leader of the Black Dogs himself, Vault. He was a muscular man with black armor, with a red cape and a large sword on his back. As Vault rode on his horse, Hicks then made his way to him getting his attention.
"Hicks! How are our new recruits doing back there?" Vault asked
But when Vault saw the frown on his face he could help but frown as well.
"What is it?" Vault asked
"I don't like them boss, they have that "goody two-shoes" feeling to them, I think they may cause some trouble for us" Hicks said
At first Vault said nothing but soon he then started to laugh at the top of his lungs. Hicks looked in confusion as Vault stopped laughing.
"Give us trouble? There just a bunch a kids, the only thing they'll be is cannon fodder!" Vault said with his signature smirk on his face.
Hicks couldn't help but grimace at this, while he did respect Vault but sometimes he did find his overconfidence a bit … unsettling. Never the less they pressed onward to their destination … the Badlands.

While they were traveling, the four rangers were in the back of the carriage, discussing their plan to save Olga … but.
"We have no idea what we're doing" Alex said as they nodded at this
"Yeah we kind of rushed this didn't we" Kelvin added making the others frown
Unfortunately he was right; they really did rush this plan due to their panic of Kaguya showing up in their village. Though that wasn't going to stop them, after all they were here so might as well make the most of this.
'Let's just hope this doesn't blow up in our faces' Eric thought
Suddenly the carriage then came to halt, making them stand at attention.
"Guess were here" Eric said
The four of them made their way out the back of the carriage and onto the dirt road. They then went up to the front to see where they stopped, and boy was it a sight. The had stopped just on the outskirts of the badlands, just as the trees and plants started to wither and die, leaving nothing but jagged rocks and rough dirt. The most eye-catching sight was the giant dark castle before them that reached high into the sky, giving it a very menacing feeling to it.
"There it is boys, the Dark Fortress, our next big victory!" Vault shouted causing the others to let out a bunch of whoops and hollers.
As for the secret Rangers, they couldn't help but sneer at Vaults voice. It still felt bad that they had to join this soon to be dictator just to get this far, but as they say "in for a penny, in for a pounding."
"Hey newbies, get over here, I need to speak to you four" Vault said
We then made their way over to him; still wearing that arrogant smirk on his face.
"What's going on?" Eric asked as Vault turned to them
"I've got a special job for you four" he said getting their attention, "Now as you know, a full frontal attack would be easy to spot and that's were hoping for" Vault said, confusing the four boys
"Um…why?" Alex asked, though they knew they were not going to like the answer
"Glad you asked, because while we storm the fortress you four will sneak in back and face the queen" Vault said, surprising the four rangers.
It was obvious Vault wanted use the secret rangers as a living sacrifice against Olga, but little did he know this worked in their favor. After all they needed to meet the dark queen to enact there plan, plus it would be satisfying to see the look on Vault's face when he sees his plan not go the way he wanted.
"Alright then, whatever you say" Eric replied making the scum smile
"Good, so let's get started" Vault said as he drew his sword
Then with a shout the Black Dogs charged forward, right into an incoming army of monsters like Orcs, Imps and other disgusting beasts. During this the four secret rangers made their way to the back entrance of the fortress, to their surprise they didn't come across any residents.
"Huh, you'd think Olga would have better security" Kelvin said
Everyone nodded at this but they weren't complaining, so with that they made their way inside the fortress. Once they were inside they couldn't help but notice how dreary the place is, but of course that was too expected when your location was in the badlands. As they traversed the castle they couldn't help but notice how quite it was, while most of the monsters were outside they were at least expecting one or two dark elves but found none.
'Odd, you'd think more of Olga's people would be here, is it really just her and Chloe here' Eric thought
They then heard some footsteps coming from up ahead causing them to stop. They then made their way around the corner to see a small group of imps. Like the rest of their kind they were small in size and had red skin. While one isn't very threating, large numbers could be a problem, luckily for them their seemed to be only eight of them.
"Okay guys, let's do this fast" Eric said
With a nod from everyone, they all rushed out and quickly dispatched the small group of Imps. Eric simply kicked one Imp away like a soccer ball, following that up by grabbing another Imp and chucked the little monster into the stone wall, crushing it. Michal was a lot quicker with his opponents by grabbing the two and slamming them together with a lot of force. With Alex, his two Imps jumped at him planning to claw him to shreds, but Alex simply roundhouse kicked and hit them into the wall, crushing their skulls against it. Lastly Kelvin grabbed hold of his two Imps and did a double neck snap on both of them at the same time. Seeing as their foes were dealt with, the four of them continued onward into the fortress.
After several minutes, the four boys found themselves in a grand hall lined with stone pillars and a red carpet in the middle of the room. Following the carpet they were then meet with a large throne and upon that throne were none other but the dark queen herself, Olga Discordia. She had very tan skin, with flowing black hair that covered one her eyes. She wore purple corset that gave a view of cleavage and a very thin thong, and to top off her look she also wore a black cape on her back and a silver jagged crown on her head.
As the rangers stood before her she looked down at them with a glare. She then stood from her throne and brandished her staff, with a look ready to kill.
"Only four of you come to face me, I don't know wither to be insulted or impressed" she said glaring at them one by one
Seeing the angry in her eyes, they knew they need to say something quick or else this could get bad fast. So with a deep breath Eric stepped forward and bowed to Olga, surprising the dark elf.
"Olga Discordia, Dark Queen of this land, me and my friends have not come to fight, we have come to speak with you" Eric said, hoping that it would sooth the elves anger.
Though to his dismay, it doesn't seem to work as Olga glared harder at the four boys.
"Do you take me for a fool; you would bring an army just to talk?" Olga said has her staff slightly sparked.
Seeing this, Alex then rushed to Eric's side to help diffuse the situation.
"Please don't get the wrong idea; we only went with these idiots just so we can get here" Alex quickly said
Luckily this stops the dark queen from finishing them off as she looks at them in confusion.
"Is that so, you would risk joining a group of mercenaries just to speak to me?" Olga said as they nodded
Think it over, Olga decided to give them a chance and sat down in her throne causing the others to relax.
"Very well, what is that you wanted to talk about?" Olga asked
Eric then took another deep breath as he gathered the courage to tell her.
"Okay, the reason we came here is actually to save you and your handmaiden" Eric said, confusing the dark queen further
"Save us? From what?" Olga asked
Then with a sigh Eric then nodded to Alex as the young boy moved forward. Once he was close enough, Alex then opened his hand causing a holo-screen to appear, gaining Olga's attention.
"From this" Alex said as the holo-screen lit up
On the screen, it started play the ending of Kuroinu more specifically, Olga and Chloe's horrible rape scene. Seeing this Olga covered her hand in horror, causing her to look away in disgust. Thinking she had enough Alex cut off the video as he walked back to join the others. Once Olga calmed down she then turned to the four boys, horror evident in her eyes.
"What…was…that?!" Olga shouted
"That… was the future or specifically your future" Eric said
Olga then covered her mouth in shock as what they told her played in her head. It was so hard to believe, her the dark queen, reduced to being a…a…sex slave! So after taking a few deep breaths she then sat up from her throne and walked down to meet the four boys.
"Are these images…true, because this is very hard to believe" Olga asked, slightly hoping it was just a trick
But with a heavy sigh and a slow shake of Eric's head, Olga looked down in sadness. Of course Eric was not going to have any of that, so with a smile on his face, he then reached out caressed the dark elf's check, which seemed to relax the queen.
"Don't worry, we won't let this happen to you after all it why we came here" Eric said in a calming voice
Olga then looked deep into Eric's eyes and could see his conviction and not only that but something else…hope. Seeing this Olga then brightened slightly and gave her attention to the four young boys.
"Alright, seeing as you came all the way here you must have some sort of plan" Olga said
Then with a smirk Michal stepped forward.
"We do just one question…how good is your acting?" Michal asked confusing Olga.

The doors of the throne room then burst open, with the bloody body of an Orc flying through the door. Coming through the door next was a smiling Vault, with a bloody sword in his hand, alongside him was Kin the Black Dog's resident magic user and Hicks. As the three mercenaries entered the halls of the throne room, the other Black Dogs then followed close behind with a prisoner in tow. It was blond haired dark elf, wearing a dark blue corset and black thong like that of Olga and was currently bound in chains and glare hatefully at the Vault.
"You wouldn't get away with this human! My queen will slaughter all of you with no mercy and feed your men to the beasts!" the elf shouted as Vault laughed
"Ha! If she's as easy to take down as you are, then this will be the easiest job of my life!" Vault bellowed out making the rest of the men cheer.
As they walked through the castle, Hicks could help but think about the kids they sent in ahead of them.
"Um, Boss, what should we do about the kids?" he asked, making Vault snicker
"What about them, like I said before they were cannon fodder as to weaken the Dark Queen" Vault answered, still holding his smug grin, "Once we get to "her majesty" it will be child's play to take the dark queen …" Vault said until stopping both in speech and movement
The others then stopped as well, confused by their leaders abruptness. Looking ahead everyone looked in shock at the sight before them. There, at the foot of the throne, was Olga Discordia, on her knees and in chains. What was more surprising was that around her stood Eric, Michal, Alex and Kelvin, all alive and well with Michal holding the queens staff.
"Hey guys, what took you so long?" Kelvin said in a snarky tone
Vault then shook off his shock as stared at the scene in front of him.
"You…defeated the Dark Queen…ALL ON YOUR OWN!?" Vault shouted, both in angry and disbelief
"Well let's see here, she's in chains and I got her staff so yeah I think that's right" Michal taunted, making Vault grit his teeth in angry.
Then out the crowd, the blond elf was then pushed to the front and looked in shock at seeing Olga in chains. She then tried to struggle out of her bonds, hoping to save her queen but to no avail.
"My Queen, how could this happen to you?!" she shouted as Olga looked away in shame
"I'm sorry Chloe, I was overpowered, there was nothing I could do" Olga said in a low voice
Chloe then turned her gaze to the four boys and gave them all a hateful glare, even trying to jump at one of them only to be held back by a chain on her neck.
"You filthy humans, how dare you do this to my queen! You all deserve to die a million deaths!" she shouted at them, causing them wince at this.
But with a strong tug from Chloe's chain made the elf stop glaring as she turned her attention to the floor. Seeing that it was over, Vault then walked over to Michal and yanked the staff out his hand taking Michal aback at this.
"A weapon like this deserves to be in real warrior hands" Vault said making Michal glare
Eric could see the anger in Michal's eyes, so with a simply head shake, Michal stood down as Vault stepped back to his men.
"Well done everyone, let us mark this day as the day that we, the Black Dogs vanquished the evil queen Olga and single handily ended this war!" Vault shouted into the crowd making everyone cheer.
After that everyone then started to celebrate their victory and quickly locked the two elves up in the fortress's dungeon, all while Vault sat upon Olga's throne with a smirk on his face. During all this, the four secret rangers stood to the side as they watched the Black Dogs celebrate there "victory", all the while they thought and waited for their opportunity to spring there plan.
"All right, we all know the plan right?" Eric asked as everyone nodded
"Me and Kelvin will search the fortress for an exit, while you and Michal go free our elf friends" Alex said
So with one silent agreement all the members split up and began their mission. So while Alex and Kelvin searched the fortress for a possibly exit, Eric and Michal made their way to the dungeons. Once there, they saw Olga and Chloe's prison cell being guarded by two Black Dogs. Once they approached them the two guards looked at them in confusion at the two kid's sudden appearance.
"Hey, what are you two doing here?" One of the guards said
"Guard change, we'll take it from here" Michal said making the two scoff
"Yeah, on who's authority?" the other guard asked, clearly not believing them
"Vault said so, he said something about "letting the children handle the dirty work"" Eric replied making air quotes
With some thinking the two guards believed them and went off to enjoy the celebration with everyone else. Once they were gone, Eric and Michal went to the cell to see Olga sitting on her knees with Chloe beside her, Chloe then looked up and once she saw them she instantly went into angry rant.
"What are you two doing here?! Have you come to mock us more or have you finally decided to give in to your male desires and use us as you please!" Chloe shouted in fury
But to her shock Michal then used a key he got from one of the guards and unlocked the cell door causing Olga to stand up from her spot on the floor.
"You four sure took your time" Olga said with a smirk
"Well sorry, we just wanted to make sure this whole things was believable" Eric replied with a smirk as well
Chloe looked between the two with confusion as she tried figure out what was going on.
"Um…what's going on here?" she asked gaining a chuckle from Michal
"What's it look like blondie, were busty you two out of here" he said, shocking Chloe
Once Eric and Michal saw that the cost was clear, they then ushered Olga and Chloe from their cell. Not to long after both Alex and Kelvin meet up with them.
"So, anything?" Eric asked making Alex shake his head
"No, both exits are blocked and guarded" he said making Eric click his tongue in annoyance
"Great, now what?" Michal said crossing his arms
Kelvin then looked over at Olga as an idea came to his mind.
"You wouldn't happen to know another way do you?" He asked making the dark queen nod
"I do, follow me" she said as she walked ahead with Chloe by her side
So after turning the corner, they were then met with a wall. Olga then walked up to it and placed her hand on it causing a small ruin to appear on it, once it did the wall then started to move and shift like in a Harry Potter movie. Once the wall had moved they were then meet with a dark green portal.
"I've had hundreds of this planted all over my castle for a quick retreat if the time was needed" Olga said getting an impressed look from the boys
"Clever" Eric commented getting a chuckle from Olga
The group then walked into the portal and on the other side they found themselves in the castles armory. Once inside Chloe then went and grabbed some daggers from the weapons rack as well as a bow and arrows while Olga grabbed her staff. Though they were confused as they saw the boys didn't even try to grab any weapons at all.
"Aren't you going to grab a weapon?" Chloe asked
The boy's then shock their heads at this.
"Naw, were fine with these" Kelvin said holding his fists up
So with a shrug Olga then held up her staff, causing another wall to move and reveal a long dimly lit hallway. They then made their way in just as the wall closed behind them thus sealing them off. The group then moved down the hallway, all the way they couldn't help but feel a little unsettled.
"Is it just me or is this too easy?" Michal asked getting a nod from everyone
"Yeah, you'd think that Vault would pay more attention to his "praised prisoners"" Alex answered
They were of course right, this was all too easy. I mean no guards to stop them and to mention that no one has sounded an alarm yet just causes a bit of concern. These of course were the thoughts going through Eric's head as they walked. Then up ahead everyone could a see a light at the end of the tunnel causing everyone to pick up speed, but when they did Eric then finally figured it out causing his eyes to widen in shock.
"Oh shoot!" Eric shouted
But before Eric could tell the others what he found out they had already made their way to the end of the hallway and found themselves outside and surrounded by hundreds if not thousands of Black Dogs and monsters alike.
"So that's why" Alex said glaring at the group
"Yep, a trap" Eric said as everyone looked at the group
They then heard someone clapping their hands from among the horde and of course, out stepped the man himself…Vault. He still had his smug grin on his face but his eyes held a silent fury behind them as he looked over each person before him.
"Well, well, well, I'll give it to you four, I didn't think you had the guts to do this" Vault said making them glare at him
"Cut the crud Vault, we know what you were planning from the beginning!" Eric shouted at the mercenary
Vault then chuckled darkly as well as his men, causing the four boys to go into a defensive stance.
"Well, aren't you smart…I guess I can't hide it anymore I guess it's only fair I tell you all what I want to do with this … little empire I built" he said causing Chloe to glare, while Olga looked in fear
"What's that supposed to mean human!?" Chloe shouted at Vault
"It simply really, I'm going to begin a new empire…one where men can live like kings and women are put in their place, a place where women are to do as they are told to do weather it's to cook for us or just let us screw them!" Vault shouted making his men cheer and the monsters roar
"We'll your not starting your little empire with them!" Michal shouted back as the four boys walked in front of Olga and Chloe.
Seeing this, everyone just laughed at this, even Vault did at the ridiculous scene before him. Although his laughter stopped when he pulled his sword out and pointed at the group.
"That's too bad; I would have loved to have some young inspiring boys in my new world, but you all we'll just fall to my new empire…The Sex Empire!" Vault roared as everyone drew their weapons.
With hundreds of monsters and mercenaries things didn't look good for the four boys…that is if they were normal people. The four of them then looked at each other as the nodded at each other, silently agreeing to one thing. They then walked up to meet the group much to Olga and Chloe's surprise.
"We said you're not getting them" Eric said making Vault smirk
"Oh and what are you going to about it, you're just a bunch of kids" Vault said
Then with a smirk of his own, Eric then reached behind him and pulled out his morpher for all too see.
"That's where your wrong…were not just kids" Eric said in a low voice
The others then followed his lead as they summoned their own morphers, surprising everyone around them.
"What are you brats doing!" Vault said as he eyed them and their morphers
"Showing you why your empire will never win!" Eric answered holding his morpher in front of him, "You guys ready?!" he shouted
"Ready!" They shouted back
Then with one deep breath, Eric then pulled out his power coin and placed it into his morpher causing a faint tiger roar to be heard.
"As a great man once said…IT'S MORPHIN TIME"

"TIGERZORD"
"WHITE RANGER, DINO POWER"
"SPD, EMERGANCY"
"JUNGLE BEAST, SPIRIT UNLEASHED"

Once they shouted it out, a bright light shined out blinding them all. Once it died down, they were surprised to see the four boys now wearing their ranger suits.
"What?" Olga looked in disbelief at the scene before her.
"Tigerzord, Mighty Morphin White Ranger"
"Drago Power, Dino Thunder White Ranger"
"Force from the future, SPD Omega Ranger"
"With the Power of Rhino, Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger"
"We are the light that shines on Eostia, saving the innocent and thwarting evil, Power Rangers White Hope!"
