It had been a short time since Sasuke had returned to the Hidden Leaf Village to help in the fight against the demons.

The others of the Hidden Leaf 11 were happy to see their old friend back, even Rock Lee challenged him to a fight, but he coldly refused.

Although everyone enjoyed a full reunion after such a long time, they had to remain on alert for a possible unexpected arrival.

Far, far away from the Hidden Leaf Village, the sound of nature could be heard, until...

CLANK

A ringing sound was heard on the spot and a sphere of light formed in the air which, soon after, burst into a flashing light and when it was gone, six objects shrouded in light could be seen falling to the ground, causing small curtains of smoke from the impact.

"Ugh. I feel terrible." said one boy in a sick tone.

"It was probably like riding in a vehicle for you." said a small creature.

"Good thing we're tough or that fall would have killed us." said another boy rubbing his head.

"Yeah, it was a matter of luck, I guess." said a girl.

"You're all okay, right?" asked another girl.

"Well, we're not dead and that's something." said a small creature.

When the smoke finally cleared, it was finally seen who it was that fell from the sky.

They were Natsu, Happy, Gray, Gray, Lucy, Erza and Charle, members of Team Natsu and the Mages Guild of Fairy Tail.

"Are you sure Wendy will be around?" asked Natsu looking around.

"Well, according to the archaeologists, the portal was connected to this particular world. So, if she's ended up in another world, it'll be in this one." said Lucy.

"So, we should waste no time and go find her right away." said Charle.

"Calm down, Charle." said Happy trying to calm down the other exceed.

"How do you want me to calm down?! Wendy has been alone in this other world for weeks on end! Who knows what kind of dangers are around here and we don't know if she's okay or not!" exclaimed Charle angrily.

"You're not the only one who's worried about Wendy, Charle, but don't worry, I promise we'll find her!" said Erza with a soothing smile.

"And if someone has hurt her, we'll hit them back double." said Gray slamming his fist into his palm.

"Make it triple. No one messes with a mage of Fairy Tail." said Natsu wrapping his fist in fire.

"Even if I agree with you, you must remember that we are in uncharted territory. So it would be best not to cause any commotion unless necessary." said Erza.

"So where do we start? We may be in the same world as Wendy, but we don't know where in the world she is." said Lucy.

"She could be anywhere." said Happy.

"Lucky for you, you have an expert tracker." said Natsu pointing a thumb at himself.

"Oh yeah, and who's that expert?" asked Gray with an amused grin, earning a grunt of annoyance from the fire dragon slayer.

"Can you track it from here?" asked Charle.

"I'll try." said Natsu before taking a few steps away from the others and beginning to sniff the surrounding air and after sniffing for a few seconds, his eyes widened as he noticed something. "I smell her, I smell a scent of her!"

"Really? Where?" asked Lucy.

"In that direction. It's far away, but I can smell her scent going that way." said Natsu pointing in one direction.

"Well then, let's not waste any more time. Let's go!" said Charle before she sprouted wings from her back and darted quickly towards the direction the fire dragon slayer pointed.

"Wait for us, Charle!" exclaimed Happy before he sprouted wings from his back and darted off to follow his friend exceed along with the others.

"I hope the place we're going to isn't dangerous or something." commented Lucy as she followed the others.

A few hours after walking, the Team Natsu finally arrived at his destination, the entrance to the Hidden Leaf Village.

Needless to say, they were impressed by the size of the gates.

"Wow. That's a huge door!" said Happy in awe.

"Why would they want such big doors? Is it that there are giants in this world?" asked Natsu.

"Well, since we don't know anything about this world, it's an option. I kind of doubt it, though." said Gray.

"I guess we'll only find out by going into that village." said Lucy before the team of mages walked through the door.

Once inside, Erza stopped them when she saw a booth near the door with two people at it.

Thinking they could get some information from that place, they approached them.

"Hello, how can we help you?" asked Izumo.

"Hello, we are mag…" began Natsu before Lucy covered his mouth.

"Travelers. We are travelers from a distant land." said Lucy with a nervous laugh.

"We were in the middle of our journey, but now we're a little lost. Can you tell us where we are?" asked Erza.

"Of course. You are in the Hidden Leaf Village. One of the great ninja villages." said Kotetsu.

"Ninjas?" asked Gray surprised by the information.

"Yes, that's right. Anyway, if you need any kind of help, you can consult with the Hokage." said Izumo.

"Her office is located in the red building. It's not hard to notice it." said Kotetsu.

"Thank you very much for the information, gentlemen." said Charle bowing in thanks.

"Yes, thank you." said Happy before the team left.

"Hey, didn't you think it was weird that those people had a symbol similar to the one Wendy is wearing?" asked Izumo.

"Did you notice that? I noticed those talking cats." said Kotetsu.

Meanwhile, back with Team Natsu.

"I can't believe it, we're in a ninja village!" said Natsu before wrapping his scarf around his head, leaving a hole for his eyes, and putting his hands in a ninja gesture. "Do you think they'll teach me some tricks?"

"I'd like to learn that famous trick of disappearing in an instant." said Happy agreeing with his human friend.

"Guys, as awesome as that is, we're here for Wendy." said Gray.

"Although I admit I'd like to do a little sightseeing around this place. It reminds me of Magnolia." said Lucy looking around.

"True, it looks pretty peaceful for a ninja village." said Erza.

"Save the sightseeing for later!" exclaimed Charle. "Natsu, can you locate Wendy in this place?"

Natsu pulled his scarf off his head before sniffing the air.

"Yeah, it's not too far, follow me." said Natsu before leading the others in a direction.

In the middle distance, Wendy was strolling leisurely with Lapis as they chatted.

"You seriously never found an exceed egg?" asked Wendy having talked about the natural friend of every dragon slayer.

"Well, considering I was captured and locked up for a long time and then wandered around aimlessly, I wouldn't notice such things." said Lapis.

"I guess that's true, but…" started Wendy before suddenly stopping.

"Wendy?" asked Lapis as the sky dragon slayer began sniffing the air.

"That smell. No. It can't be." said Wendy with wide eyes of shock.

"What smell? What are you talking about?" asked Lapis before Wendy took off running in one direction. "Wait, Wendy!" exclaimed Lapis before following her dragon slayer friend.

Wendy was running several streets away from the village until suddenly, when she turned a corner, she ran into Team Natsu, who had just turned the corner on the other side.

As soon as they saw each other, both sides stood there wide-eyed with surprise.

"Guys?" asked Wendy not believing what she was seeing.

"Wendy!" shouted Charle flying quickly towards the dragon slayer in the sky and hugging her chest.

"Charle!" exclaimed Wendy surprised that it wasn't an illusion.

"You idiot! I told you to stay out of trouble and look what you've caused! When we get back, you're going to be punished for a long time!" said Charle scolding her as she shed tears of joy.

Tears of joy streamed down the sky dragon slayer's face before she gave her companion exceed a hug.

"It's good to see you too, Charle." said Wendy happy to see her lifelong friend again.

Just then, Lapis arrived on the scene and stared in confusion at the group approaching Wendy.

"I'm glad you're okay, Wendy." said Lucy.

"I don't understand, what are you all doing here?" asked Wendy confused to see the Team Natsu members in that world.

"After a few days went by without hearing from you, we got pretty worried." said Gray.

"So we went to the place where you were headed, where we met the archaeologists studying the ruins." said Erza.

"But when we asked them about you, they said they hadn't seen you." said Happy.

"At first, we thought we hadn't arrived in the first place, but thanks to my nose, we knew you were there." said Natsu.

"So we did some research and discovered that in the middle of the ruins there was some kind of portal that was connected to another world. As soon as we knew that, we decided to activate it and travel to that other world to look for you." said Charle.

"By the way, who is your friend?" asked Lucy pointing to Lapis who was standing to one side of the meeting.

"Yeah, and why does she smell like you?" asked Natsu with an arched eyebrow.

"Oh, yes. Guys, this is Lapis Universe, she was fulfilling the same mission as me and was brought to this world with me. And besides, she's the water dragon slayer." said Wendy introducing her new friend.

"What? Another dragon slayer?" asked Happy surprised to see another dragon slayer.

"A talking cat?" asked Lapis surprised to see a talking animal.

"I'm an exceed!" corrected Happy.

"Cool! Are you really a dragon slayer?" asked Natsu with a smile and standing in front of the water dragon slayer.

"Yes, and you must be Natsu Dragneel, right?" asked Lapis.

"How do you know that?" asked Natsu.

"Wendy told me a lot about you." said Lapis.

"Really? And what did she tell you about me?" asked Natsu feeling flattered.

"A lot of things, but so far I can see that the hyperactive part is totally true." said Lapis.

"Hahaha. She defined you well, Natsu." said Gray laughing at the water dragon slayer's comment.

"It's not like you're any better yourself, exhibitionist." said Lapis.

Gray was confused by the comment until he looked down at himself to discover that he was in his underwear. Again.

"Gah. Damn." said Gray going to retrieve his clothes.

"Wait a minute. If you're a dragon slayer, how come you look the same age as Wendy?" asked Lucy.

"It's a long story." said Lapis.

"Another thing Wendy, what's that thing on your forehead?" asked Erza referring to the dragon slayer's forehead band from the sky.

"Well, the truth is that I'm now officially a ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village." said Wendy holding the band proudly.

"What? No fair! I want to be a ninja too!" said Natsu feeling envious of the young dragon slayer.

"Me too!" said Happy.

"Wendy, tell me you didn't do anything dangerous while I wasn't present." said Charle.

"As Leaf ninjas, we are tasked with various missions that can range from simple to dangerous." said Lapis.

"Besides, they're not that different from guild missions." said Wendy.

"Wow, who knew a ninja village would be so much like a mage guild." said Lucy in surprise.

"Looks like you managed to do pretty well in this world." said Erza with a proud smile.

"Well, I didn't do it alone. They helped me adjust." said Wendy.

"Who?" asked Gray.

"Wendy!"

At the call, the group turned their heads to the side to see Naruto and Sakura approaching the area, only to stop as soon as they saw the newcomers.

"Huh? Who are you?" asked Naruto.

"Naruto, those are Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Happy and Charle. They are friends of mine from my world who have come to this one." said Wendy introducing her mages friends before turning to look at them. "Guys, those are Naruto and Sakura. Not only did they find me and Lapis when we arrived, but they also helped us settle in."

"I see. In that case, thank you so much for taking care of Wendy." said Charle bowing in thanks.

"Oh, no need to thank me. Someone had to take care of her anyway." said Naruto petting the head of the sky dragon slayer, much to her delight.

"I guess you're also members of Fairy Tail like Wendy, right?" asked Sakura.

"That's right. We are." said Lucy showing the guild symbol on the back of her hand.

"Check it out, Natsu. That boy has cat whiskers." said Happy.

"That's right. He looks funny like that. Hahaha." said Natsu bursting out laughing.

"Hey, you, pink hair, just so you know they're fox whiskers, not cat whiskers." said Naruto offended.

"What did you call me?" asked Natsu pissed before he and the jinchuriki collided foreheads with a fiery red and dark orange aura surrounding them both. "It's not pink, it's salmon, do you get it?"

"What's the matter? Don't you like being the one getting insulted?" asked Naruto.

"You want a fight, mustachioed?" asked Natsu.

"Knock it off, you two. There's no reason to use violence." said Sakura trying to avoid a fight.

"You stay out of it, Forehead Girl." said Natsu pointing at the pink haired girl.

In the next instant, Natsu received a punch from Sakura that sent him off like a rocket as he screamed.

"What did you say just now about not using violence?" asked Lucy with a bead of sweat.

"Your friend has a lot of strength." said Erza to Naruto who was hiding behind her as she trembled.

"Yes, she does." said Naruto hoping he wouldn't be the next one to get hit.

"You know? At first I had some admiration for him since he's really strong from what you told about the opponents he faced, but now that went away as soon as I saw how incredibly stupid he is." said Lapis.

Wendy laughed nervously at her dragon slayer friend's comment.

"That's Natsu for you." said Charle.

"Anyway, if you come from the world of Wendy and Lapis, then we better go report it to the Hokage." said Sakura.

"That leads me to ask... What's this Hokage thing?" asked Gray curiously.

"She's the leader of the village and one of the most powerful ninja in the world." said Naruto having overcome his fear from earlier.

"I guess it makes sense to meet the one who rules the place." said Erza.

"In that case, take us there." said Gray.

"Alright, but one more thing." said Sakura before blushing slightly. "Why are you naked?" asked Sakura embarrassedly pointing at the ice mage.

Gray looked down at himself to find that he was left confused by that until he realized he was naked again, so he went to retrieve his clothes.

"You'll have to excuse him. It's a habit he has." said Lucy apologizing for her friend.

"Before we go, wait until I go look for Natsu, he probably hasn't landed far from here." said Happy before he sprouted wings from his back and flew off.

Needless to say, the two ninjas were surprised to see that.

"Huh, Wendy, cats can fly in your world?" asked Naruto.

Wendy laughed lightly at the jinchuriki's question.

"No, just exceed. I'll tell you about it later." said Wendy.

Later, after bringing Natsu back, the group left heading for the Hokage's office.

"Hey, one question, what are those heads on the mountain?" asked Happy.

"It's a monument we have in memory of the Hokages there have been in the village. Lady Tsunade, the current Hokage, is at the bottom right." said Sakura pointing to the only female head on the mountain.

"Cool. We should do something similar in our guild." said Natsu.

"If we hang their heads, it'll look like we're a guild of human hunters." said Gray.

"But the idea of making a monument for the past and present masters sounds great." said Erza with a smile.

"Although there would be one that would be a bit of a repeat." said Lucy with a small smile as she remembered the third master who became the sixth sometime later.

In Earthland, a certain short mage and Fairy Tail guild master suddenly let out a sneeze.

"Naruto, right?" asked Charle catching the jinchuriki's attention. "Tell me, what was Wendy doing while she was in this world?" asked Charle feeling curious about what her friend who had become a ninja had been doing.

"Well, when she's not fulfilling missions with us or some of our friends, she keeps herself busy training, both in combat and medical techniques." said Naruto.

"You decided to train your medical techniques even though your healing magic is potent?" asked Lucy in surprise.

"Yes. This world is a bit more dangerous than ours, so I decided to make myself stronger so that no one would get hurt." said Wendy.

"I'm fine with you doing that." said Erza liking the sky dragon slayer's intentions.

"So how are you doing?" asked Natsu.

"I've improved quite a bit and I owe it all to Miss Tsunade." said Wendy.

"Isn't she the leader of the village?" asked Gray.

"That's right, but before that, she was known as Princess Tsunade because of her amazing medical techniques. In fact, I learned medical techniques from her too." said Sakura.

"Wow, that's to be expected from someone who has her head in the mountains." said Charle impressed by the Hokage's abilities.

"So, Lapis, are you strong? If you are, would you fight me?" asked Natsu eager to fight another dragon slayer.

"First, yes, I am strong. And second, I don't want to fight you." said Lapis.

"Huh? Why?" asked Natsu.

"Because my water would put out your fire, that's why." said Lapis.

"There she got you, Natsu." said Gray with a slight chuckle.

"I can confirm that. Even if she's the same age as me, she's just as strong as any of us." said Wendy with a smile, making the water dragon slayer blush slightly at that.

"Y-you don't need to exaggerate so much." said Lapis touching her index fingers.

"She llllikes you!" whispered Happy flying close to the water dragon slayer so that only she could hear him.

The next instant, Lapis shot a jet of water that sent Happy crashing into a tree, knocking him down in the process.

After that, Lapis gasped with a full red face.

"What was that for?" asked Wendy.

"Nothing! None of your business!" exclaimed Lapis in embarrassment before she went on her way on her own.

The others were left behind, very confused by the water dragon slayer's behavior.

After a while more walking, they arrived at the Hokage's building which, as the two men at the entrance counted, was the only red building in the whole village, something that was easily noticed.

They walked down a few hallways until they reached the entrance to the office and after knocking and receiving confirmation that they could enter, the entire group entered the office, where the rest of the Team Natsu saw Tsunade sitting at her desk with Shizune by her side.

"Hey, old Tsunade, we're here." said Naruto.

"I told you not to call me that." said Tsunade with an anime streak on her forehead.

"Why did you call her that?" asked Lucy quietly to Wendy.

"From what I understand, Miss Tsunade is older than she looks, but she uses a special technique to stay young." replied Wendy in a low voice.

"Heh. I'm sure the old master would like to know that technique." commented Natsu.

"Naruto, who are these people?" asked Tsunade referring to the Team Natsu members.

"That's why we came here, Lady Tsunade. They happen to be Wendy's friends coming from her world." said Sakura, surprising the Hokage and her assistant.

"What? You come from the same world as Wendy?" asked Shizune in surprise.

"That's right. As soon as we heard about our friend's disappearance, we went to investigate and that led us to travel to this world." said Erza.

"I would like to thank you for all you have done to help Wendy. If it weren't for you, I don't know what would have happened to her." said Charle bowing in thanks.

"Don't worry. I wasn't about to let some little girls wander around in a world they didn't know." said Tsunade with a tender smile.

"Still, we are grateful to you for taking care of our friend, Lady Hokage." said Erza bowing in thanks.

"Hey, now that you two have gathered, what do you plan to do?" asked Naruto curiously.

"I don't know, I never thought we'd get this far." said Natsu with a shrug.

"Well, I guess the most normal thing to do would be to go back to our world." said Lucy making the two dragon slayers and the ninjas present worry a little.

"You're right, we should..." began Gray before...

"We can't leave." said Wendy getting the attention of the mages present.

"What? Why not?" asked Happy confused.

"There's still something we have to do in this world." said Wendy.

"What could be more important than going back to our world?" asked Charle.

"For example, dealing with a dark guild composed of demons." said Lapis to the great shock of the Team Natsu members.

"What?! There are demons here?!" asked Lucy in shock.

"How is that possible?" asked Charle.

"You see, when Lapis and I met in the ruins, some suspicious guys showed up. We fought them, but during the fight, the portal was activated that took us to this world, including those guys." said Wendy.

"Then, sometime later, we learned that those mysterious guys were demons of a dark guild called 'Death Hand'." said Lapis.

"So now, all the ninja villages are on alert in case they show up, since one of our friends fought one of them and he turned out to be stronger than they thought." said Naruto.

"It makes sense. We faced Tartaros, and it was our biggest battle to date." said Gray remembering how much they suffered when facing the demons of that dark guild.

"That's why we can't leave. Not until we've defeated all the demons." said Wendy seriously.

"I see. In that case, we would like to offer our help in fighting the demons, since we have more experience with them than anyone else in this world." said Erza.

"Sounds good to me. The more help the better." said Tsunade accepting the help from Team Natsu.

"Oh, yeah. Let's show those demons who they're messing with." said Natsu slamming his palm with his fist.

"Yes, sir." said Happy.

"Heh. I like that." said Naruto with a toothy grin and crossing his arms.

"Then we're counting on your help." said Tsunade standing up and stretching out her arm.

Erza was about to respond to the gesture when suddenly Natsu stepped forward and shook her hand.

"You don't worry, old Hokage." said Natsu with a toothy grin.

The next instant, Tsunade threw Natsu through the window, shattering the glass in the process and sending the fire dragon slayer far away as he screamed.

The ninjas and Team Natsu were left in a bead of sweat at the stupidity of the fire dragon slayer.

"Is your friend always like this?" asked Sakura to Lucy.

"Only most of the time. You get used to it eventually." said Lucy letting out a sigh and shrugging her shoulders.
