He loved Her.
Oh how He loved Her.
Strong, Patient, Beautiful.
And He loved Her?
That weak self-fish, snot-nosed brat?
Why?
What did she have?
She didn't know the meaning of love…
Oh yes, they said She loved her brother.
And She did. She ventured into the labyrinth for him.
And yet…
It was not the kind of love that burned like living flame. Or froze like the waters of the Arctic, or the kind of love that schemed and stole baby brother…so that HE could have Her.
I still think that it was more stubbornness than love that got Her through the Labyrinth.
And in the end. Face to Face with Him, She was too busy remembering some stupid line, instead of seeing the love burning inside of Him.
Stupid Girl
She went home.
He was shunned.
And yet He loved Her still…
He watched her from afar
And still she did not understand.
And finally He flew home.
He did not cry, but his heart had shattered like Crystal Balls.
Forever Alone.
Stupid Girl.
Then in one magic moment, She grew up…
And saw the chance she had lost.
TRUE LOVE
PAINFUL, AGONIZING
BUT STRONG
SELF-FISH, CONSUMING
LOVE.
She waited
Hoping
Wishing
Despairing.
But she did not get another chance.
And as the porcelain figurine dances in circles.
She waits.
Stupid Girl.
No not a stupid girl.
Stupid ME.
"Don't tell me truth hurts little girl… 'Cause it hurts like Hell!"
