Okay this was wrote out of total and complete boredom. Thought it up while writing sentences for Vocabulary words in Reading class today! Yeah weird I know. I am a Katang shipper but I was thinking ( yes again during reading ) what would happen b/t Katara and Zuko if the Prince joined the gang? So heres my thoughts. Just to let you know I never use their names…
Speak Up, Stand Down one –shot
The young brazen girl looked her opponet who stood taller than she. The older boy stared back, knowing her fearless look was all part of her 'brave waterbender' act. They'd been togather cince he joined her little 'gang' two years ago but suddenly there was tension and anger between the two old friends. Arguments and fights-much like the forming one- came more often. They threatened to destroy everything they'd gained in the last two years. The younger girl had an intuiation of what her 'friend' was thinking. Suddenly the older boy had an impulse to go hug and apoligize to his former friend.
The girl didn't like his still face and body. Usually in a fight the boy would move deftly at her. Shooting attacks with no mercy. But right now the older boy was neutral not even stepping forward. What had happened to their friendship? It had disengrated before them. Maybe their family and friends had been right- water and fire just don't mix. The orginal fight had turned into a deathly still and quiet stare-down. It was the last time they ever saw each other. Because when she awoke the next morning he was gone. Her former firebending friend was gone…forever. The girl knew she would miss him terribly. Could they have been friends still…maybe more if one of them had spoke up if one of then had stood down during one of their stupid, foolish spars? End.
Okay this was just a boredom story. I thought of it as I said in Reading. Please Review.
