Inuyasha chose Kagome over Kikyo.Kikyo is on the verge of death until a mysterious savior saves her from death.Inuyasha knows the mystery man doesn't like him.

Chapter one:Betrayal of a Lover

The two demons launched at the wounded Kikyo.Inuyasha quickly slayed one.The souls left her cracked shoulder.She ached.A high toned voice screamed.Inuyasha turned toward the scream."Kagome!"He left the defenseless Kikyo to accept her delayed death.She shut her eyes tightly."May your make have put you through the hell you deserve Inuyasha."She said calmly.Kikyo waited for her death.But once again it was delayed.

"Inuyasha,you will always protect me won't you?"Kagome asked.Inuyasha nodded."You will also love me too?"Inuyasha hugged Kagome tightly."Of course Kagome.I'll protect you like no other.You and only you."Kagome whispered to him."No one else."He hugged her tighter."No one else.My Kagome."He let her go.She leaned on his shoulder.She snuggled close to him.Inuyasha picked her up and the two left for camp.Kagome asked."Where were you Inuyasha?"He looked away."You don't need to worry.Your the important one Kagome."Inuyasha?I love you." "I love you too, Kagome.More than anything."They landed at camp.He pulled the straw mat up for her.Kagome slowly went into the opening.She layed out on the mat.Inuyasha stood over her.He was infatuatied witth her.He talked softly to himself while he kneeled to her side."My Kagome."He gently placed a hand on the now twenty- one year-old's belly."Your only a few days through but, you are important.I must keep you safe."Finally he layed down and wrapped her in his arms.He kissed the side of her head."I love you too, Kagome

"Who saved me from my fate.Why?Who?"Kikyo asked her self.She was deep in thought.Slowly she opened her eyes .She saw a small girl.Kikyo closed her eyes.The little girl placed a towel on her forehead.Kikyo rubbed her shoulder.A warm substance dropped on her face.She used her other hand and wiped it away.She poened her eyes.It was blood."I can't bleed.I'm nothing but a clay corpse."She thought.The girl spoke to her."Is something wrong?"Kikyo rose."No."Kikyo saw the bandages and wrapped her bleeding shoulder."Who saved me?"She asked the little girl."Lord Sesshomaru."Kikyo's eyes grew wide.She thought."Inuyasha's older brother.That cold hearted full breed demon?"Kikyo asked another question."What is your name?"The girl answered Rin.Rin quickly grabbed Kikyo's hand."We need to catch up!"The couple was off to catch up with Sesshomaru.
