Another Ending
Harry screamed one final time before Voldermort descended upon him. Nothing but darkness followed. Looking down on his limp body the Doctor sighed, "He's put himself into a coma."
"Again?" The head nurse asked pulling the blanket up over Harry's body. "Was it Voldermort again?"
"I'm afraid so." The Doctor said rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I must admit I am confounded. Every time it seems he gets Voldermort under control he just lashes out again."
The head nurse patted the doctor's shoulder, "The boy was responsible for his parents deaths, it's only natural that he would shift the blame to Voldermort."
"Yes but such a violent alter ego for such a young boy. I've never seen a split personality disorder this bad." He sat on the chair next to Harry's bed.
The nurse brushed hair away from Harry's head. She looked at his strange shaped scar a moment. "Sometimes I wonder if it was a miracle or a tragedy that he survived that car crash."
"He's retreated into a fantasy world, Minerva. He believes Voldermort the evil wizard killed his parents. Now he's training to be a wizard to defeat Voldermort." The doctor leaned back on his chair. "It's a fascinating case."
"It's hard to feel sorry for him after what he did to Cedric." The nurse looked out the window into the dark night. "Cedric was so close to recovery. His friendship with Cho was a big step forward for him. But Harry," she looked down at the sleeping boy, "he grew jealous and the next thing you know he's smashing Cedric's face in with a lunch tray." She wiped a tear from her eye.
"You must understand that in his mind Voldermort killed the Diggery boy. Harry does feel guilt for it but he can't know that he was the one who killed his friend. In time he will realise the truth." The doctor got up, "But for now he sleeps. When he wakes he'll be ready for a new year at his school for wizards." He walked to the door, "and we'll be ready too."
"Goodnight Doctor Dumbledore." The nurse said as he left the room.
Meanwhile Harry was back with the Dursley's waiting for the following year at Hogwarts to commence.
