I need to make sure my writer's block is gone, so I decided I'd write this little one shot for Eddie Guerrero and his wife Vickie. To my knowledge, there are no fanfics about them. So I decided to give them they're fifteen minutes of fanfic stardom.
"Eddie, what are you doing sweetie?" Vickie asked nervously. "It's over, Rey won. He has Dominic now."
"How could you? How could you help him like that? You're my wife, and you're supposed to help me win!" Eddie replied angrily, slamming his fist on the table.
"You weren't doing it for Dominic! You just dragged him into it to hurt Rey even more!"
"You're wrong Vickie! You're dead wrong! It wasn't about beating Rey, it was about my son!"
"He's not your son!"
Slap. Vickie was on the ground, holding her face. Eddie was standing above her.
"What did you say?" Eddie asked menacingly.
Tears burned her eyes. "I want a divorce." She said quietly.
Eddie was stunned for a second. "What?"
"I want a divorce." She said again, louder this time, standing up. "I'm tired of being afraid of you… I love you Eddie. But why do you have to hurt our family?"
Eddie struggled to speak. "You..you can't divorce me! What about the girls?"
"They'll be living with me. You can see them though. Bye Eddie, we'll be by my mother's." She said, drying her eyes and walking over to the car.
"No…wait, don't go! I'm sorry, it was an accident! It'll never happen again, just come back. Come back, please!" Eddie cried in vain. It was too late, she was already gone.
XxXxXx Later that night, on SmackDown!xXxXxX
Eddie's theme song started up. The crowd already started booing, it had become habit over the past few weeks. He walked out slowly, holding a box in his hands. When he got to the ring, he took Tony Chimmel's chair, and sat in the middle of the ring. A sudden hush fell over the audience.
"Last week, at SumerSlam, Rey Mysterio won custody of Dominic." He paused for the cheers to end. "And earlier tonight, my wife…is divorcing me, and taking my daughters." At this point, he could barely control the volume of his voice. He opened the box and looked at it's contents. "It seems…"He paused. "I have nothing to live for." With that he pulled out a gun from the box and pointed it to his head.
Various security guards swooped in. The crowd started to panic. "Everybody, stay calm!" The guards shouted. They pointed they're weapons at Eddie. "Drop the gun, now!"
"No!" He said, turning to point the gun to the police. "You drop your's, or I'll shoot you on three. One…two…"
They dropped their weapons and put their hands above their heads in defeat.
Suddenly, Rey Mysterio ran down the stage. He slowly climbed into the ring.
"Eddie..Eddie, put down the gun. This isn't the answer, and you know it."
"You..you're the reason Vickie left me!"
"No, Eddie, she was right. This was all about beating me right? Well here, you win." Rey got on his knees in front of Eddie. "Just put the gun down."
Eddie lowered it slightly.
"That's it Eddie, that's it. Do you think your daughters would like their father to kill himself? They love you Eddie, and so does your wife."
He pointed the gun to the ground. "They all deserve better than me…I deserve to die, for what I did to you, and them."
"No, no, you just made a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. Just give me the gun." He said firmly.
Eddie started to hand it over. Rey grabbed it and stood up. The police swarmed around Guerrero. He sank onto his knees and cried quietly as they put a pair of hand cuffs on him.
"I'm sorry Rey. I'm sorry Angie, and Dominic. I'm sorry girls, daddy loves you. And most of all, I'm sorry Vickie…I love you all."
