I went back and forth on this chapter but here goes nothing.. I hope you like it. As always I don't own the Power Rangers.
Reefside
Kim and Tommy have been enjoying each other company. Kim loved the house and Tommy told her she could redecorate as she pleased.
Kim was now in her third month on her way to her fourth month and she was starting to show.
Kim needed to leave to go back to Paris and so did Tommy to check in on his collection.
The fact that he did not want a pregnant Kimberly traveling on her own. Was the real reason he knew is collection was fine.
Tommy was away at school taking care of some class room item before the school year started.
Kim was at the house redecorating and waiting for their new furniture to arrive.
She hears what she thinks is the furniture truck but it turns out to be more then that.
She see a white car pull up Kim knew that women it was Liz.
Kim stood on the porch watching her get out of the car.
What the fuck does she want Kim thought.
Liz approaches Kim. Is Tommy home asked Liz.
No, Tommy is not home, please leave. Kim said her hands folded.
Well Kim it looks like America dose not agree with you. You're fat. Said Liz.
I'm not fat you idiot I'm pregnant. Tommy and I are pregnant. Now leave Liz.
You're pregnant? Said Liz in shock.
Please, I'm going to tell Tommy to make sure to get a DNA test.
I tried to get pregnant by Tommy and it never happened because he is shooting blanks. Said Liz
Kim usually dose not let things like this bother her but the idea of Liz and Tommy having sex made her see red.
Get out of my house Liz and don't you dare come back. Kim stopped her foot.
She yelled get out Liz get out of my house.
This is not your house Kim it's Tommy's
No this is our house you are not welcomed here. I don't ever want to see you near Tommy.
If I catch you near my child I will end you where you stand.
Liz was a little scared but she did not have time to worry. The ground shook under there feet.
Kim yelled at Liz go under the door way. I'm
Lightning hit next to Liz's car smoke came up and when it fade there stood a metal cyborg.
Kim's Power Ranger instinct kicked in as much as she hated Liz she knew she had to protect her.
She was going to run in when she froze. She remembered she was pregnant with Tommy's baby.
She knew why that Cyborg was here.
Liz was scared shaking, but Kim knew she had to give Liz time to run.
Kim stood tall on the porch. Liz run out the back. Said Kim.
Liz grabbed Kim hand come on she said.
Kim looked at her no Liz you need to run. Go out the back.
Tommy will kill me if I run and you are not with me. Liz said Kim you are pregnant.
Zeltrex got closer. Kim looked and she ran with Liz into the house.
Kim knew Zeltrex could easily kick down the door.
Come on Kim said Liz. Kim stalled knowing the cave would be the safe places but she did not know Liz.
She head towards the kitchen as Zeltrex blew down the door.
Kim keep running Tommy is on his way. Yelled Haley over the house speakers.
They step out side on the dock Zeltrex caught up. Liz was infront of Kim when; Zeltrex caught Kim at the top of the steps.
He Picked up Kim and turned her around.
I have been waiting for you for the longest time. Kimberly
Kim was scared she knew this was not going to be good. She was not going to get Kidnapped.
When you wake up tell Dr. Oliver that we are even.
He through Kim down the steps. She rolled down the the seven steps. Hit the bottom hard.
Liz ran to her OMG Kim. Wake up Kim Liz said frantically.
Tommy heard Liz scream out Kim's name.
He ran out and saw Kim
Tommy kneels in front of Kim. He yells Kim wake up please.
Tommy Look down and see blood coming down Kim leg.
No, Kim! he yelled.
Liz got close still in shock to what she just saw.
Tommy looked at her. Are you okay? Yes said Liz. He he he just came after her. Was all Liz said.
I have to go said Tommy. Stay here Jason and Haley are coming.
Without hesitating he picks Kim up and runs to his car.
Leaving Liz at his house.
Reefside Hospital
Tommy is waiting in the waiting room with his parents. He told them he was not sure what happened all he knew was Kim fell.
He kept looking at his hand this knuckles where white all he wanted to do was punch something.
Dr. Oliver? Called The Doctor it was Kim's OBGYN Dr. Fields.
Kim is stable we where able to reduce the bleeding, but I'm sorry Doctor Oliver we could not save the baby.
Janet gasp as James Oliver immediately grabs his son. Tommy stood there in shock.
Can we see Kim asked James to the Doctor. Yes, she is not awake yet. She is in room 5-215.
Tommy takes off running to the room leaving the doctor and his parents behind.
He opens the door and sees the all too familiar sight of Kim laying in a hospital bed.
He sit next to her and grabs her small hand.
Hey Beautiful, I'm right here and it's going to be okay. Tommy said as tears fell.
His Mom came into the room hey honey I called Kim's parents they are on there way from France.
Dad and I are going to get some coffee do you want some.
No, Tommy just shook his head.
She came up and gave him a hug. It will all be okay son. You and Kim will get through this together as you always do.
Tommy looked at her and nodded.
She hugged him again and walked out.
The last few weeks he was on cloud 9. He was going to be a dad. Kim and Tommy where as happy as they could be.
He had even made Kim a ring and was waiting for the right moment to pop the question.
Now, he had lost his baby and Kim was in the hospital unconscious.
He heard a small knock on the door and he sees Jason walking with Haley.
Tommy looks up and in three step Jason was hugging Tommy.
Hey man it's okay, don't do this is to your self, itsr not your fault. Said Jason.
He came after them because I destroyed his son, and for that he came after my family. Said Tommy to Jason.
Is Liz okay asked Tommy? Yeah Zack is with her she is really shaken up and she is asking a lot of questions, but she is fine.
They sat with Tommy. When Tommy's communicate When off.
Tommy took it off and threw it against the wall. It smashed into pieces.
He did not care anymore. He did not want to hear from anyone right now. He knew that chime he knew it was from the federation.
He did not care. All he wanted now was Kim to wake up.
Haley picks up the pieces. Well now I have something to keep me busy this weekend.
Sorry, I just so mad. He said to Haley.
It's okay Tommy, Kim is going to be okay and then you guys can try again. Said Haley.
I'm going to work on the defends system in the house. Billy is going to help me.
Thank you Haley. Said Tommy.
She gave him a hug and walked over to Kim. Hey Kim said Haley you have to wake up soon. He needs you. He held Kim's hand gave it a squeeze and walked out.
Jason walked up to Kim and gave her a kiss on her forehead. Don't give up Kim love you little sis. He said and walked out with Haley.
Federation Command Center
Ayyi Ayyi said Alpha 5
Dr. Oliver is not picking up his communicator.
He has not been acting as the leader we except. This is unlike him maybe the Falcon was wrong. Said a being dressed in Blue.
Keep trying Alpha. She said.
Yes your highness. Said Alpha.
A being tall with white hair entered
The room enraged. Along with a slight younger being but still wise and regal. He was tall human like with jet black & white hair. Long in a pony tail.
The being stop in front of the of her highnesses.
How dare you!! How dare you even speak or challenge our Falcon. There is no mistake with him or his Crane. He slammed his walking stick.
I'm sorry if my words upset you my King.
This for the Falcon is an unimaginable lost. He dose not know that the crane will be okay.
I understand my King. Said her highnesses.
Alpha I want you to use that last of the Crystal to send me to earth. I want to be with the Falcon and the Crane right now.
But Zordon if we use the last of the Crystal we can not get you back to Altar. Explained Alpha 5.
I know old friend but they need me. They need us right now. Said Zordon.
Your majesty are you sure this is smart? I mean after all.
I know my son but you must stay here to take my place. If we can we will all come back. Said Zordon
With that Zordon and Alpha left for Earth.
Reefside Hospital
Tommy was sitting next to Kim holding her hand when she started to move.
Tommy parents went to the Airport to pick up Kim's parents.
Tommy noticed that Kim was waking up and he was happy but sad knowing he would have to be the one to tell Kim the awful news.
She was looking up she opened her eyes and blinked a couple of times.
Hey beautiful Tommy said unable to control his emotions.
Kim saw Tommy face and knew it was bad.
Kim said I'm at the hospital. Tommy was unable to speak. Softly said yes.
When he started to sobs Kim knew but she could not register anything. Okay okay was all she said.
The baby Tommy? The baby where is the baby Kim said already emotional.
Tommy sat on her bed and held her. He looked at her and said the only thing he could think to say with Trini now.
He could not see her but could here her sobs, and feel her warm tears on his chest. Her body trembling under his strong arms. He wanted to make her pain go away.
I'm sorry Tommy, I'm so sorry Kimberly said. I'm so sorry I was not strong enough to protect our baby.
Hey Kimberly look at me this is not your fault. You did what you needed to which was run. He is a very strong cyborg.
He did this to punish me Kim because I hurt him. I just don't understand how he knew about the baby. I'm so sorry Kim. I love you and I'm so sorry.
Tommy said as he sob.
Kim held him tighter I love you too! We will be okay. Said Kim.
I can't believe this happened. I'm so sorry handsome.
Shhh it's okay we will get through this and you are okay. Said Tommy
I don't know what I would have done if I lost you both.
About an hour later,
As the nurse walked in the room "she is awake I will get the Doctor."
The doctor enters the room.
All your exams look okay and good news is you will still be able to have children. Said Dr Fields.
Nurse can I have some private time with the Oliver's. I just want to talk to them.
The nurse said sure and walked out.
Through here tears Kim and Tommy looked at each other with a worried look.
Tommy spoke up Dr. Fields is Kim okay?
Yes, she is Kim will be fine and she will heal nicely. In fact that is the issue she is healing very well.
I wanted to talk to you guys about something that happened to me and my wife a long time ago.
My wife's family is from Angel Grove California.
Tommy and Kim looked at each other wondering where this was going.
We were walking along the water front near the ocean on the pier when a monster attacked happened. Said Dr. Fields
My wife had our baby in the stroller it was a quiet day so we thought the pier was safe.
Then out of nowhere came a monster he was huge and cause the pier to spilt in two.
My wife and I where on one side closer to the ocean side. The stroller slipped out of my wife's hands when the pier split and our baby was on the other side. It rolled until it tipped over and fell. Our daughter rolled out.
The tipped over stroller and our daughter on the other side near the buildings.
We where frantically trying to find a way to cross the pier.
Tommy and Kimberly stay quite but give each other a glance they remember that day.
The power rangers where in there Zord fighting and the monster He pushed the ranger on too a building.
We thought we where going to lose our daughter as the building collapsed over her.
Then the tiny Pink Ranger jumped out of the Zord covered our baby and the buildings fell on her & our daughter.
I call her the Tiny one because the other pink ranger was really tall. Continued Dr. Fields.
I saw the white ranger jump out of the Zord and land in front of the rubble and start moving rubble. I'm not a long distance jumper but some how I grabbed my wife hand and we jumped the pier.
When I got next to the white ranger I hear him screaming Kimberly Answer me. He was moving large rubble and screaming Kim Kim he was frantic and so were we Dr Fields rub his eyes.
Kim & Tommy looked a each other but stayed quite not wanting to reveal anything or insult the doctor.
We finally removed a wall and there was Kim the pink ranger. Covering our daughter while her bow and arrow was holding up a wall. They had about 1 foot of space between the wall and my daughter. She saved my daughter.
She but my baby in her helmet so she would not breath in the rubble the white ranger passed me her helmet with my daughter.
As he was helping her crawl out. I saw the pink Ranger's face covered in gray dust.
The white ranger covered her and then we give him her helmet back.
I also remember them talking. Kim what where you thinking. Said the white ranger. Tommy I'm sorry said the Pink Ranger. The baby needed help.
That day my wife and I looked at each other and we promised ourselves we would never forget there names or their voices.
By this point Kimberly and Tommy where holding hands neither of them knowing what to say.
Tommy quickly jumped in how is your daughter now? He asked
She is 13 now entering in middle school. She wants to be a veterinarian.
He pulled out a picture and passed it to them.
Kimberly looked at it in awe she is beautiful. Kim & Tommy smiled at each other.
We want to repay what you guys did for my family.
How ever we can help when you guys when you are ready to try again, we will. We will keep it all a secret. My wife wanted to be here but she could not she is the Chief of Staff here.
Kim & Tommy did not say anything they couldn't it was their law.
Tommy was about to speak when Dr Field stoped him.
One more day of rest here and then you can go home. He bowed his head to them and walked out of the room.
Kim and Tommy looked at each other in awe but said nothing.
When the doctor walked out Kim starting sobbing again.
Shhh said Tommy it's okay don't worry it will be okay. I love you so much Kim.
1993 Valencia Drive
Tommy pulled up to his home. He looked at Kim. Let me get out first please.
It's dose not matter now. Kim said as she stepped out of the car.
Tommy jumped out and ran to her. Hey your still hurt remember. I don't want anything happen to you.
Kim looked up at Tommy she was crying. He hugged her come on let's get you inside.
Tommy was still sad but he was trying to stay strong for Kim.
Kim and Tommy sat on the couch no TV the only light was coming from the kitchen.
I'm so sorry Tommy. I was not strong enough to save our baby from Zeltex. Said Kim.
No Kim it me who should beg for your forgiveness. I did not protect you from him. He Killed our child because I killed his. This is my fault. Tommy said. With his head looking down at the floor.
They hugged each other. There baby was gone.
Kim was the first to talk. I guess I will start packing. She said. Got up started walking to the bedroom.
Where are you going? Asked Tommy.
I figured since I'm not pregnant anymore there no reason for me to stay. Kim said
Kim Tommy said softly I can't lose you too. Please don't go. He said in a whisper.
The thought of losing Kim too was too much for Tommy. He fell from the couch to the floor sobbing.
There he was the leader of the Power Ranger the strongest man in the world and yet he was still just a man.
Right now he was broken he had lost his child the one thing he ever wanted most in the world. And now he was going to lose Kim too.
Kim walked back. I'm sorry Tommy I'm just so lost. I thought you want me to go. Said Kim. Standing in-front of him.
He pulled her down to his lap on the floor. No Kim, I don't want you to go. I want you to stay with me always.
She sat in his lap and they held each other tears slowly fell from there eyes. They mourned in private. Something they had not been able to do at the hospital.
As the two lovers grief inside their home. Outside the weather was changing.
A storm was brewing. The winds of change blew. Meanwhile a crane and a falcon flew in the sky.
They came down and perched on the outside veranda of the home.
The crane lowered her head the Falcon got closer and cuddled her.
They stood guard there looking at their masters grieving their lost.
The rain started to fall but the birds did not move. They stood there watching over the two.
