[The episode picks up where the last episode left off. The class celebrated their victory over Beavertown happily with a late lunch by the picnic bench that they had dubbed as theirs.]
[The other classes were still going strong for about three hours. It was now 3:00 and Mr. Lancer and Ms. Tetslaff's group was bored.]
"We should play a game or something," Dash suggests dully looking down at the ground.
[The class seemed to collectively shrug in consent.]
"We could play, I Hear?" Star suggests popping her gum.
[She receives blank looks from the non A-List members. She sighs nevermind looking out onto the field.]
[Meanwhile the trio seem to be having a conversation about something serious. It was as if they felt the camera on them, because they stopped talking for a second then talked louder about a different topic.]
"My parents stayed in the hotel," Danny tells his friends.
"Will you be able to participate?" Sam asks drawing a conclusion from Danny's statement that the others couldn't.
[Her question catches the classes attention.]
"I figured it was something like that," Tucker said after Sam's question, "I'm just surprised they actually allowed them to do that this year."
"What the hell are you nerds talking about?" Megan demands glaring between the three outcasts.
"My parents are going to host a game this year," Danny said montonly.
"I thought it was obvious." Tucker shrugs.
"To anyone other than us, no it was not." Sam tells the boy amusedly.
[The class was still slightly confused. But good 'ole Valerie cleared the confusion up for them.]
"But can you participate in the game? Would it be an unfair advantage to have you and your friends in one team since you're all familiar with Fenton tech?" Valerie asked the trio.
[Danny scratches the back of his head unsure of how to reply.]
"They might make us and Jazz spread out to help with the proper ways on how to use the weapons." Tucker informs them glancing down at his PDA.
[A horn blares through the field signalling that the ongoing game was done. It was now close to 3:30. The game was stopped and the students were judged in a record of time. The field was quickly cleaned and food was passed out for the small break they were taking before the next game began. At 5:00 the Fentons appeared in the center of the field minus their son.]
"The next game will be hosted by us! This year the mayor's both agreed to allow us to incorporate ghost hunting into the games. The older students will be using the Fenton Ghost Rays and other weapons to shoot obstacles while running through a makeshift maze that will be set up shortly." Maddie tells the crowded field as what appears to be tall concrete walls are moved onto the field and moved into the place.
[Jack Fenton stands on the stage where the end of the maze is located, Jazz stands next to him with her arms folded behind her back.]
"Behind us are monitors that will be able to be seen by the judges and those not participating. Notice that the maze walls are high and there are different entrances and exits so there really is no telling what path that each student will get or take." Jazz informs the audience looking around slightly as her mom walks onto the stage.
"Now we're sure everyone wants an example of how this whole game will work so-." Maddie was cut off by Jazz.
"My brother Danny and his friends will go through it and set an example."
[Maddie blinked startled, seemingly having forgotten that her son was at the event.]
"Yes, originally we were going to have them, or well Danny, sit out since he is familiar with our tech and what not. Then we thought about splitting them up to help each group that goes in, but we decided against that as well. So, if you will all turn to the beginning of the maze."
[Danny, Tucker, and Sam stood at different entrances. They each had a Fenton Wrist Ray, Ecto Pistol, and Fenton Thermos.]
"Each of them hold a Fenton Wrist Ray, Ecto Pistol and Fenton Thermos, now they actually don't know the correct way to go through the maze so they'll be doing it blind. Danny!"
[The black haired boy looks up a mild annoyed look on his face.]
"You go first, then Tucker, and finally Sam. Alright? GO!"
[The three teens stroll into the maze much to the disappointment of the audience who thought that they would run, especially Sam.]
[Danny walks slowly into the maze looking around with dull eyes. As he moves to turn to his right he pauses, quickly shooting something to his left and using the thermos to show the proper way to go about the process. As whatever he shot gets sucked into the thermos he looks around with more interest. He looks at his watch and mumbles something to it before continuing on his way. The maze itself has concrete walls with green ancient looking vines crawling up and down the walls. There was no way to tell whether he was going the right way or not so he moved in random intervals and motions after listening to seemingly the sound of nothing. He continues walking on the path he chose stopping suddenly as a ghost like thing appears in his way. He looks it up and down with calculating blue eyes, seeing that it is, in fact, not a ghost of any kind but a contraption that has ghost-like properties. He sucks it up into the thermos without shooting it and continues on his way.]
[Tucker walks cautiously through his path pausing every so often to look behind him, he jumps startled as a ghost contraption thing appears beside him.]
"Cool." He says observing the contraption with amazement.
[He reaches to touch it and recoils as it gives him a minor shock. He glares at it, then sucks it into the thermos. He decides to lightly jog through the maze to make the experience more realistic. He whips around to the left shooting something. A "ghost" flickers into existence before disappearing. He ducks as a shot from it goes in the direction his head used to be in. He fires out three shots in rapid succession and uses the thermos to trap the entity. His maze walls had tree-like vines crawling around the walls and the ground. He turns left crouching as another shot flies over his head. He pulls out his pistol and shoots vaguely in the direction the shot came from. A ghost flickers into existence and he smirks.]
[Sam's eyes took in the vine covered concrete walls that have purple and red flowers on them. Only a few feet into the maze she whips around to shoot behind her, getting her first glimpse of the ghosts that lurk in the maze. She narrows her eyes, shooting it again before sucking it into the thermos. She turns forward moving quickly and efficiently through her path. She scrutinizes everything, shooting and capturing the ghosts as she goes. As she comes to an open area with four paths she stops, palming her pistol and widening her stance just as a ghost bigger than all the ones she faced so far appeared. It shoots at her and she rolls forward out of the way. She ends up in the center of the open intersection. The ghost turned invisible. Her violet eyes scanned her surroundings with great detail. She jumps to her right as another shot is fired, she quickly shoots back in the direction the shot came. She sees the ghost flicker slightly and shoots again. The ghost shoots her Wrist Ray making it useless. She pulls the pistol out making it into two pistols instead of one. She shoots in one direction turning her head and shooting in another. She flips backward from another shot, shooting the ghost midflip, landin on her feet. The ghost appears, no longer able to turn invisible. She acts quickly shooting five rapid shots from both guns, she tucks the one in her right hand into the back of her tights getting the thermos and sucking the ghost into it. She blows a heavy breath out pulling her hair into a better, albeit messy, ponytail.]
[The audience watches transfixed as each member of the trio goes through the maze differently. Danny walked through it as if he was taking a leisurely stroll, Tucker - getting startled ever so often by the ghosts- was moving quickly as if ready to leave at any moment, and Sam being cautious and militant about her surroundings moving like the athletic girl she is.]
[Danny walks down a path with his hands in his pockets he spins to his left where a path is. He stops a little ways away from it, seemingly waiting on something. Sam appears from the path, she spares the ravenette a glance, continuing on the path Danny was on with him. They come to a three way intersection and wait. Tucker appears from the path to their left, he jumps slightly startled to see them. The pair give the darker skinned boy a blank look choosing to go forward. Tucker quickly follows the pair with a spring in his step. The end of the maze appears but the trio doesn't pick up their pace. The three shoot at the same time at a ghost that appeared seemingly out of nowhere. They share a look and Danny pulls out his thermos to capture the ghost. They finally leave the maze and are met with applause.]
"Good job kids, you did great! The proper procedure is to shoot the ghost then capture it with the thermos," she scolds them lightly, seeing as they did the opposite at some points.
[Danny steps up onto the stage and takes the mic from his mother.]
"But if you can tell that the ghost is weak, just capture it." He says boredly ignoring his mother's annoyed look. "Why waste the effort, but yes, please do follow the proper procedure, always." He says sarcastically.
[His mother takes the mic back from him a little more forceful than necessary, rolling her eyes slightly at his typical teenage attitude.]
"Now the event can officially begin. Notice that somehow, they ended up coming out of the same exit, which should not have happened." She eyes the trio with masked annoyance. "You should only be able to meet up with your teammates."
"We met up with each other by instinct," Tucker whispered to the two jokingly. "We're forever teammates."
"Now we'll do a brief demonstration of each weapon. I'll tell you now you're Ecto Pistol, should not," she emphasized, " be able to turn into two. I didn't even know it could do that." She glares at the goth girl.
[Sam looks unbothered. She shrugs at the woman not willing to tell her how she did it.]
[The scene changes to the kids strapped into Laser Tag equipment. Danny and Tucker are sitting on the sidelines doing things on their phones, Michelle is sitting with them, along with Mikey, Nathan, Gregor, Romoan, Felicity, Dale, and Mia. They were told, depending on the person, to either sit down or sit out. Danny and Tucker were fully prepared to be told not to play Laser Tag seeing as everyone believes them to be unathletic, the same could be said for Nathan and Mikey, Michelle and Felicity just didn't want to play and the rest except Gregor and Romaon were just told to sit out.]
[Sam makes her way to Danny and Tucker ignoring the calls of her classmates.]
"Are you sure you can play?" Danny asks, not looking up from his phone.
Sam sighs heavily dropping herself down onto the bench that the boys were occupying, "I mean it would be nice to sit out but I know I can't."
"I'll trade places with you if you don't feel up to playing Sam," Felicity informs the girl with a smile.
"No, it's fine. Thanks for offering." Sam told the girl with a grimace of a smile on her face.
[Danny looks up as Sam walks away, he turns to Tucker with worry filled blue eyes.]
"Something feels off," he tells the boy looking back down at his phone.
[Tucker nods but says nothing.]
[The scene then shifts to the field where the class are going up against Ms. Lambert's class in Laser Tag. There were makeshift obstacles and hiding spots for the students to us. Sam was playing sniper, hiding high up in one of the blockades that no one noticed. It appears that no one knew where she was letting the audience know she decided on her perch herself. Paulina and Star were using Dash, Kwan, Gilian, and Dylan as shields. Ever so often the class would work together as one then break off and do their own thing. Valerie and April were a very scary pair to come across both far to accurate with their weapons. Kira and Megan teamed up with the girls from their gym class, which then ended up with six of the eight girl team eliminated fairly quickly.]
[Paulina's team focus.]
"Where the hell is Manson?" She growls peeking around her meat shields.
"I don't know, but wherever she is, she's eliminating people quickly." Star assured her.
"I thought that was Sander and Valerie," Kwan spoke up gesturing to the two teens in question a few feet ahead of them.
"It doesn't matter as long as we win," Dash shook his head, shooting a kid that popped up to his left.
[April and Valerie focus.]
"Where the hell is Manson?" Valerie asks incredulously as four more people get eliminated in rapid succession.
"Wherever the hell she is, she's doing the best out of everyone besides us. We should've let Fenton and Foley play too," April said, shooting the poor kid who decided to try and sneak up on them.
"Seeing the way Manson plays," they both pause to watch a kid's sensor light up from a shot from seemingly nowhere, "I think that would have been a good idea."
"Felicity told me that apparently there's something wrong with Sam. Danny asked if she was sure she could play and she said yeah so… we should look out for her."
"It could be nothing and he's just being paranoid." Valerie scoffed, not willing to admit that she was jealous of Danny's care for his female friend.
"Sounds like jealousy to me," April said, eyeing the girl with slight disdain.
"Nope, our breakup was mutual even if I feel as though the goth had something to do with it."
[April makes a face at the other girl then spins around, stalking off in a different direction.]
"And where are you going?" Valerie yells after the other girl.
"To find Manson, who is at least honest about her displeasure with others. And let it go Valerie, from what I heard, you broke up with him."
[Kira and Rebecca focus.]
"I know like everyone has been saying this, but seriously, where the hell is Manson?" Rebecca asks, amazed at how many people were being eliminated by her.
"I have no idea, and I will freely admit this, that girl scares me just a little." Kira says looking at the sidelines where there were more Beavertown kids than Casper.
"Looks like Delilah is tired of losing," Rebecca notes as the girl stomps her way up to the referee."Should we put out a heads up?"
"No," Kira says narrowing her eyes at the other girl from across the field, "she might just put herself in the game instead of her lackey's."
[Sam focus.]
[At first you couldn't see her. She was camouflaged so well even if she was wearing white. But suddenly there she was, clear as day in the hard to access top of one of the blockades. She quickly made her way down, feeling that the game was going to come to an end soon. She whipped her gun around and came face to nozzle with April.]
"Don't shoot." The other girl said boredly.
Sam huffed but lowered her weapon, "Weren't you with Gray?"
"Yeah, but then she said some stuff. But, on another note, are you feeling okay? You look a little paler than usual." April observes looking her up and down.
"It's the white," Sam jokes stepping away from the object and out into the open. She stumbles but quickly covers it up.
"Maybe you should like sit or something," April suggested in a low tone.
"I'm fine." Sam said cautiously moving forward. "Delilah's gonna pull something, I can feel it."
[As Sam and April crouch behind another barrier, Sam freezes. April calls her name when she notices that the other girl didn't move with her. She shakes her gently trying to get the other girl to move or speak. April looks around frantically for anyone to help and spots no one. She ignores the calls that state that Paulina's team and Kira's team got eliminated. She ignores the spectators' calls for the students to stop playing because the Beavertown kids win by default. She ignores it all and focuses on trying to get Sam coherent.]
[Danny perked his head up from the otherside of the field. He watches as all his classmates but two come back to where they chose to haunt.]
"Where's Sam and April?" Danny asks them, eyebrows raised.
[The class members that participated shared a confused look.]
"We thought they were here since they announced that Delilah and her croney's won." Kira hisses out displeased.
"April went to go fnd Sam once she brought up to me that apparently she wasn't feeling well. I didn't see her when they told us to gather in the middle for the counting either." Valerie tells the boy indifferently.
"Wait, hold up,"Tucker interrupted looking up with furrowed brows, "clear up some confusion for me please. Is her Sam or April?"
"April, of course." Valerie scoffed looking away from him.
"And you didn't bother to say that you were missing teammates or go find them because…?" Tucker trailed off.
"It's not my concern."
"Since fu-," Tucker cut himself off. "Since when are two of your classmates not your concern, cause I'm a little confused here Val."
Valerie rolled her eyes crossing her arms over her chest, "Oh please you know why."
"No, Valerie, I don't, so please enlighten me."
[The rest of the class watch interested as the two go toe to toe. Paulina, who is beside herself with amusement, laughs haughtily.]
"Didn't you hear, geek? Val's back in." She says proudly.
"Real mature Val, I know this whole popularity thing is important to you simpletons," Tucker says looking at each of the A-Listers in turn, "But so is my best friend. Good to know that after this it'll be like freshman year for the rest of our high school career's. Oh, and Val?" Tucker addresses the girl personally," Get over it."
[Danny said nothing during the whole altercation, just sitting back watching it happen. He seemed to disappear once Paulina laughed and returned shortly after with April and Sam. Said girl was still catatonic on April's back. They went unnoticed as Tucker dug into Valerie. April slid Sam off her back, with the help of Danny, and left to find the referee of the Laser Tag game. Danny laid Sam onto the bench and checked her pulse. Her eyes were wide open and flickering from left to right. He glanced up and looked at the cameras that were surrounding them and seemed to nod to himself.]
[April returned with Mr. Lancer and Ms. Tetslaf is tow behind her. It was then that the class took notice of her appearance.]
"Where were you Sander! Because of you we lost!" Paulina screeched.
"I'm not sorry that one of our fellow classmates stopped moving and responding to any and everything," April scoffed, jerking her head in the direction of Sam and Danny.
[It was then that the class finally noticed the state that the raven haired girl was in.]
"Is she, like ok?" Megan asked, taking a small step away from the pair.
"So now you care." Tucker huffed, shaking his head in exasperation.
[The two adults stepped up to the pair of black haired teens. The gym teacher did a series of typical medical checks *I'm sorry I have no idea of any medical knowledge, again I'm sorry* She finishes them and says something to Lancer that neither the cameras nor the students catch. Tetslaff picks the unresponsive girl up in a bridal carry and walks away. Lancer stays with the class.]
"Great now because of gothic we're gonna be one player down to beat Fullten and we just lost a game too." Paulina grumbles ignoring the looks that April and Felicity were giving her.
[Danny looked at the class with cold eyes. He wasn't stupid he knew that a lot of the girls in school had crushes on him and wished that he would even glance at them once, but he didn't. An important key deciding factor about who he considered to date was how they treated and talked about his friends. It was no secret to him that Valerie blamed his goth best friend for their breakup. He doesn't know how it happened in Valerie's mind but in his mind Valerie broke up with him to save him from him, how Sam fit anywhere into that he'll never know. He also knew that the class was playing up their cohesiveness for the camera's. The A-list couldn't really have changed that much in a single summer. Sure the bullying was cut back and there were no malicious rumors anymore but what they were doing for the sake of the stupid show was just awful. Pretending that the class cared so much for each other on camera then off camera fighting like cats and dogs. After this episode went up, Danny decided, we're definitely not gonna be seen anymore.]
"Should you be saying that? Don't you care that one of your classmates is literally not responding at all to anything?"
[The girl of the A-List seem to share a glance. Then all of a sudden, the theatrics start. The girls start crying, baring Valerie who made her feelings toward the goth girl known already.]
[April is seen shaking her head and stalking off, dragging Michelle and Felicity along with her. She yells for Nathan and Mikey to follow, the two boys do so quickly seeing as they're pretty scared of the short haired black girl.]
[The less popular girls from their gym class gave them disgusted looks and went off in a different direction.]
[Danny and Tucker had long gone to follow the teachers to wherever they took Sam.]
[Camera's no longer filming.]
"Alright we're done for now. Gonna go grab a quick snack." A cameraman informed the remaining students, who nodded in reply.
"Man, we are like, totally crushing this reality TV show thing." Star said happily as she fixed her make-up.
"I know right!" Paulina exclaims getting nods all around, "We just can't let the nerds and geeks get too comfortable or it'll be a disaster."
"And Paulina," Megan squeals to the Latina girl, "that acting with the whole rumor thing. Like, girl, I almost believed you. And how did you get that story about Manson that you told the camera lady to delete?"
"Oh," the girl in question says looking up from her compact," I made it up I think, that, and I heard something like that did actually happen to her though."
"No way," Star gasps excitedly, moving closer to the girl, "spill."
"Can you believe her though? Like why did she pass out? To get more attention than she already has?" Valerie scoffs. She couldn't believe that the goth bitch had the nerve to lie in order to make them lose to Delilah and her cronies.
Star looks at her other best friend with sympathy. She knew how the African American girl felt about the purple eyed goth. According to Valerie, Sam caused her and Danny to break up. The goth girl had sabotaged their whole relationship, which was super rude.
"Yeah, like it's bad enough that we had to pretend to know whatever Taylor and Sanders was talking about. And did you see the way that they totally excluded us from finding out what it was? Rude!" Star huffed out.
"At least you knew what was going on. We had to sit there and watch it all happen. And what was the big deal about Fentina knowing whatever it was? It couldn't have been that bad," Dash spoke up rolling his eyes . "It's so hard to be nice to these chumps, I just wanna shove them all in a locker but I can't do that because of the camera's."
Paulina scoffed grabbing him roughly by the collar so that they were face to face," If you ruin this chance for me, I'll destroy your life! GOT. IT."
Dash nodded vigorously ignoring the chuckles that were sounding from behind him.
"But, on another note," Megan said, looking around suspiciously before leaning in and gesturing the other girls closer. " Have you noticed Fenton lately? Like he was already cute but when he got taller and his voice turned into the smooth tenor, I was like….take me now. No offense Val."
"None taken. Cause you're right like if he gets any taller and his hair and looks stay the same," she paused to make a sound low in her throat, putting a hand to her chest," Jesus help us."
"But on another note," Star said leaning further into their little huddle," what's the deal with Sanders and Foley?"
"Something is totally up with that." Megan nodded.
"I think, she might, like, have a crush on him or something." Paulina stated receiving nods from the other girls.
"Ladies the cameras are returning," Kwan informed them.
"Awww thanks Kwan, aren't you the sweetest." Star cooed at the boy just as the camera crew returned.

[No cameras at all.]
Inside a white tent Sam was lying prone still not moving. On a level unheard by human ears she was making minute sounds. Her eyes opened then shut in quick successions. Unnoticed by the doctors and nurses milling around the tent, an invisible Danny and Tucker snuck in. They watch as her eyes open long enough for them to make out her eye colours. Her eyes were silver. The two boys shared a startled look and jumped as the girl started speaking in another language.
"They who have done us so wrong will finally be punished. Phantasma, the King of spirits and souls, a powerful Dietity. Shortened to Phantom after some milenia. I beseech you, inquire of the two gods that purposefully were sabotaged. Ask for the true story of Phantom and his Mistress." Her eyes closed again but when they opened for the last time they were purple.
Danny acted quickly using his powers to compel the doctors and nurses to leave the surrounding area then turning visible. Tucker quickly moved to Sam asking her questions in rapid succession only stopping when he noticed that the goth's mind seemed to be far away.
"Sam," Danny asked stepping into her line of vision, "do you know who spoke to us through you, as in do you know who took control of you to give us a message.?" He watches as the girl gives a hesitant nod, looking away. "No one understood what you said but me. She only wanted Tucker and I to hear what she had to say. Sam," he called softly crouching by her cot, "Who was she?"
It was quiet for a short time after Danny asked the question, but when Sam finally spoke it wasnt what Danny wanted to hear. "I have to go."
The boys share a look, "Go where, Sam?" Tucker asks hesitantly.
"I have to go. Selina and Danielle have to go."
"Sam, where do you need to go? Where do Selina and Danielle have to go?" Tucker asked again, looking at Danny worriedly.
"They have to go with me. It won't be safe here."
"Sam, you'd have to find Danielle in order to take her with you," Danny said, hoping to make the girl see reason.
Sam turned her head to look Danny in the eyes, "She's coming here soon."
Danny turned to Tucker with a storm in his eyes. He was worried. Sam was acting strange and now she wanted to leave Amity Park for seemingly no other reason than, 'it won't be safe.' He needed time to decipher completely what the woman who inhabited Sam had told him. He also needed time to go to the Zone and figure out what was going on. "Sam, you should get some sleep. We'll talk to you when you feel better." Danny told the girl standing to leave and dragging Tucker behind him. "We'll talk to her later Tuck, whatever happened to her is still obviously working it's way through her mind," Danny informed him seeing his confused expression. "Whoever the woman who spoke to us said she mentioned a god who was named Phantom, she told us to look up information about gods who had been purposely forgotten. She told me to find the tale of Phantom and his Mistress. "
Tucker snorted kicking a rock, "That's not concerning at all. And dude, we might have to keep a close eye on Sam. She seemed pretty desperate to leave. But it's nice to know Danielle is coming soon."
Danny nodded his head walking back in the direction that the class was in. He noticed that the camera crew were making their way back over to the class and sighed.
"And dude the thing yesterday on the chat," Tucker started slowing their pace so that they wouldn't reach the class just yet.
"I know Tucker," Danny informed him lightly.
Tucker sputerd, "But the A-Listers were just acting. I noticed they were faking about knowing what the other girls were talking about. Are you sure you really know?"
The boy in questione chuckled deeply, his eyes flashing their usual green. "Being a ghost has its perks," was his ominous reply.
"That's hella creepy, man."

The rest of the games went about as well as they could. Once the cameras were turned on the atmosphere of the class changed. Suddenly they cared about each other more than usual there weren't any real fights but passive aggressive words were thrown between them left and right. Lancer knew what was happening but he didn't do or say anything about it. The last day of the games were recorded and of course, true to Lancer's words his class won the games for their school. They had the highest wins along with Lambert's class but their wins tallied up with the rest of the schools and the younger schools caused them to win by one game. Delilah had a meltdown much to the class's collective amusement. Once the games were over everything went back to as normal as Amity Park could get. Which wasn't as normal as the citizens were hoping.
When the camera's stopped recording for two days that was all it took for the ghost to come back to the town and cause trouble. The Fenton's had said that it was the camera's that warranted the ghost being gone for so long but Phantom told the town differently in as few words as possible.
A teen had called to Phantom as he was finishing up the capture of a more violent cat ghost. "Why are all the ghosts out now? Even you didn't really show up when the camera's were filming. The Fenton's said that something about the camera's made them appear less, camera shy, they said."
Phantom looked at the teen then looked around him noticing that people were waiting with baited breath for his reply. "It wasn't the camera's. There was…" he hesitated looking around at the people, "a fluctuation of energy. I'm still trying to figure out why…" He waved to the people and promptly took to the skies as the Red Huntress and the Fenton's appeared.
"What did the spook say?" The Red Huntress demanded.
"There was a shortage of energy for a reason he is still trying to figure out."
"He's lying," Maddie Fenton informed the public. "Ghosts just don't like cameras."
"But a lot of them seemed pretty wound up and weak," a man called out crossing his arms over his chest.
"Even my poor Jared seemed to get-, I can't really describe it. It was like he wanted to visit but he couldn't. It made him restless and nervous." Ms. James pipped up agreeing with the man.
"Oh don't remind us that you keep one of those scum as a pet Beatrice," Maddie spat out.
"Don't remind us that you are incompetent ghost hunters Madeline," Beatrice snapped back huffing as she walked off.
The audience seemed to collectively wince as the older woman left the scene. Maddie scoffs shaking her head.
"That woman is just not right in the head. Who keeps something that could potentially kill you as a pet?"
"A lot of people," the same man from earlier says as if it were obvious. "Don't forget who helped her get that pet she has. Good day all. Bea! Wait up!" Ben Beuacanon called after the lady.
"The ghost spook is wrong about the ghosts, don't listen to a word he says," the Huntress hisses out riding away on her board. The Fentons say something similar before riding away.
"Because yeah, listen to the "expert" ghost hunters and a particularly biased person instead of an actual ghost who knows way more about ghosts than all of those people combined? I'll pass," the teen said in a sarcastic fashion causing the surrounding populace to laugh.

The Tree House at the Foley residence.
Tucker and Sam sat in the very high tech Tree House that they used as a base for Team Phantom, of course the Foleys and Ida knew about Danny being a half ghost and helped cover for them when need be.
The walls were whte with neon green lining and had shelves of weapons covering the wall farthest from the entrance. A multi screen computer counsel was set up against the left wall once you come in from the entrance. Between the two stations was a door that led to a laboratory where they did their research. The right wall from the entrance had a TV on it for multiple purposes the main one being for distraction mode, where someone comes up not in the know and they have to pretend to be doing normal teen stuff. To the left of the TV a little ways off, is a door that leads to a study like room. The room is filled with books, paper, and maps. A desk is sat at the center of the room while everything else is scattered around it. On a typical day, Tucker would be at his station with all the computers, Sam would be in the study, and Danny in the lab. But today they had been leaving at the drop of a hat to catch ghosts left and right.
Danny phased into the room walking to the weapons shelf to set the almost full thermos down. He huffs out a breath sinking down into a bean bag chair and de-transforming. "How's it looking guys?"
"Well," Sam said, turning to face Danny in her chair, "the ghosts aren't really doing anything too drastic, I mean some of them are just floating around."
"She's right," Tucker said, not turning away from the monitors, "a lot of them just look happy to be out of the Zone. Like this guy," Tucker says pointing to said ghost on the screen. It was a ghost wearing a tunic from ancient times he carried a satchel like bag over his shoulders and a short sword. "Never seen him before and it looks like he's looking for somebody. Wanna go check it out?" He asks his friend turning to face him.
Danny shakes his head laying back on the bean bag. "Did you find the people we were supposed to search for Sam?"
The goth shook her head, "They really don't exist in any of the books I've looked through. But on the plus side the one book that almost mentioned them had a few pages torn out and replaced Phantasma with another God. There were magik and pawns at play. But, bet if we ask the Ghost Writer he'd know."
The boys nod taking in all the information. After Sam became more aware of herself and her surroundings they explained to her what happened and what they were tasked to do.
"You never did actually tell us what happened to you. All you told us was that Selina, Danielle, and you have to leave because it's not safe here."
She nodded her head running her finger through her hair. "I was crouching low behind a fort when my vision changed. I was in a room with tan cemented walls and vines creeping up everywhere. I was chained to the floor with shackles, one on both ankles and one on both wrists. I remember being in a crouched position like I was sitting back on my knees, like kneeling. There was a curtain of neon green hair everytime I moved my head. It wasn't that long though, it maybe barely brushed the floor. Then there was an entrance that opened up, one that wasn't there before. A man came through he was bulky and hulking and I remember having the feeling of annoyance coursing through me. He stepped into the room till he was in front of me. He stood and observed me for a few minutes before he spoke.
"'I see your powers have returned. Does this mean you can finally open the gateway I need to conquer the spirit world?' He asked forcefully.
"'No.' I said shortly refusing to look up.
"'What do you mean, no. We have been waiting for milenia for you to open the passage for us so that we could help his citizens.'
"'Keep waiting.'
"'The new overseer of the realm cannot enter. How can he be god of a realm he cannot enter!'
"'He does not.'
"'Listen to me you wench, the only reason you were not slain with him was because I vouched for you. You are my wife after all.'
"'No.'
"The reply made him really mad and he harshly grabbed my chin making me look at him.
"'You cannot stay angry for much longer, is it not almost time for you and him both to be given a new life? Maybe this time they will not die as quickly. What is this,' he held my chin in a bruising grip and made me look him in the eye, 'your eyes. Oh? Did we have the timing wrong?'
"'No.'
"He smiled at me slowly and it was filled with evil and a promise of death. 'You are playing a dangerous game my love. Do you want us to forcefully get the answer out of you?'
"'If you must. I'll die before it happens.'
"I was angry and heartbroken. I remember flashes of memories coursing through my head of a man who I loved that was slain cruelly after he defeated many many gods in battle to reach me. In the end, he was stabbed in the back by the man who held me captive.
"'Ravynne, I did love that name. Which lifetime was that again? Oh wait, it doesn't matter because you were prevented from seeing him because we found him first. Spyridon, I liked his name that lifetime. You found him first but it was still too late.'
"'I am Mistress-' he cut her off.
"'Mistress of the Green, Mistress of the Earth, Mistress of the Souls, Mistress of the Gates, Mistress of Phantasma, or should I use the more common name these days, Mistress of the Phantom, you almost got us that lifetime but Salem was not a good time for you.'
"'I never went to Salem.'
"'Are you certain? The young woman who was almost burned at the stake had similar features to you before you received your powers in every lifetime and a glowing entity with green eyes and white hair saved her. Now does that not sound like Phantasma when he channels the power of his realm through him?'
"'It was not me.'
"'What about the appearance in Rome, a female with black hair wearing a light purple, lilac almost, tunic with a gold band wrapped under her bust and a gold belt at her waist, she was in a crowd of people watching a figure wearing a white chilton and a black cloak he had white hair and glowing green eyes. It was recorded that he was fighting a man with black horned hair wearing a red chilton and red toga.'
"'It was not me.'
"And after he said those two instances I started thinking. The Salem thing was when we went back in time the first time with the Blood Blossoms and the other time was when Vlad decided he wanted to conquer Rome. Both of those times all three of us were there but he only focused on me and Danny because we supposedly look like these two gods that it seems like the other gods are weary of. Why else would they hunt and kill them each time they are reincarnated?
"'You are too late.' It was the first time she had spoken first and I was basically her but I wasn't her at the same time. So when I asked her what she meant she explained that we were the same person and that this lifetime was her last official lifetime. She had been with the asshole who had her captive for a long time.
"'You are alone this lifetime there is nothing you or your new life could do to stop us.'
"'You are wrong,' she smiled at him through his bruising grip, 'in this lifetime they are together. You will ALL get what you deserve. I hope he kills you all.' She literally spit that last sentence at him and he almost broke her neck but a vine wrapped around his wrist in an iron grip.
"She said that she wanted to talk to you guys about something but she didn't exactly tell me what it was. And that's when I woke up." She finished off blowing out a breath.
"That is," Tucker paused, shaking his head, "a lot to take in. I guess congratulations are in order, you guys are gods!"
Danny gave him a dry look. He put a hand to his head closing his eyes. "If she was the supposed gatekeeper to Phantasma's realm, which might actually be the Ghost Zone, and she's dying then that would explain why the ghosts aren't able to get out as freely. I want to go to the Zone and ask Ma what she knows about these two 'cause they seem pretty important if the other gods worked together to kill them in their every lifetime."
"But Sam," Tucker piped up turning to the girl, "when you woke up you said you had to leave and that it wasn't safe."
"The guy who was keeping, I think we should call her Mistress or better yet Tris, captive said that he should have known and left the tower. She told me to leave so...I guess I'll leave," she shrugged. "Someone's coming."
The Tree House changed from a high tech base into a regular Tree House. The weaponry shelves disappeared into the walls, Tucker's computers sunk down into the floor, the chairs that Sam and Tucker were sitting in turned into beanbags, the branch off doorways disappeared, and the TV turned on.
The first thing the person coming up the later heard was Sam complaining about the Tv show, "What the hell is this?"
"April?" Tucker and Danny questioned as the girl made her way through the entrance.
"Yeah, look it was either me or Valerie and I thought you guys would prefer to see me. Cute top," the girl said gesturing to Sam's black top that said, 'Oh, please the Box Ghost is more scary than you,' in blue writing.
"I have no clue Val's deal is lately," Danny said, turning to his friends playing his role as clueless.
"She's been going around saying Sam caused the break-up between the two of you." April answered, "But I'm not here to gossip. We have a meeting with the head producer fof this stupid show at school in Lancer's class right about 30 minutes ago. Do you guys just like, not answer your phones or something?"
"Bold of you to assume that those are our correct numbers," Tucker smiled at her with a charming smile.
"Really," she gives him a flat look. "Anyway just hurry up and get the rest of the class comes after you with pitchforks." She disappeared from view.
"We can never have a peaceful day," Danny whined falling onto his back.
"When have we ever had a peaceful day?" Sam asked him, stepping over him to disappear down the ladder.
"It's the principal Sam!" He yelled after her phasing through the floor.
Tucker sighed, turning the lights off and climbing down the ladder.
**********Line Break************
When the trio opened the door to Lancer's class they were awarded with angry glares. "Where the hell have you three been and why can't you answer your phones!"
"It's funny that you guys think you have our phone numbers." Tucker laughed, moving to sit in the open chair closests to the door. His friends follow him shooting him amused looks.
"I am Jonoathan Knox and this is my son Durai Knox," a man wearing a crisp black suit says gesturing to a young man who looked like he should be on the football team.
"I don't like the look of this kid," Sam whispered to her friends.
"Me neither," Danny said, narrowing his eyes at the boy.
"Your class seems to be the most popular class in the school, so we'd figured we would make you guys the main focus and move certain students to your class, like my son."
"Great!" Paulina says winking flirtatiously at the boy.
"I'm aware that today the students only had a half day because of the games, but on Tuesday expect to have more students added to your roster. And coming up, a talk show hosted by Vicki Vale called Amity Gossip. Be prepared to be broadcasted live all over the world and," he paused looking at the A-Listers, "do try to be yourselves and some of you," he looked at the trio, "try to be less boring. That is all. Good day." The man leaves the room along with his son and his entourage.
"What a dick!" April said.
