It kind of sounds like you're tempting fate with the "see how wrong I am when the season airs" bit when making a season 7 story with its members this soon in advance. Either way, what you've got so far amuses me, and I'll give the story a follow. Quality of content ALWAYS takes precedence over quantity of stories/chapters and submission speed, so don't ever feel like anything should be rushed. Not yet sure whether Julia or MK is supposed to be the antagonist as there's hints for both and you seem to have made it intentionally ambiguous for now. Whoever it might end up being, Ripper was funny, and it sounds like Wayne and Raj have a codependency similar to that of Katie and Sadie during TDI. Millie's a teenage mom, huh? That's definitely a first among contestants. Looking forward to whatever follows.
Me- Yeah it's been a while. That's kinda the whole point of this fic. I highly doubt my characterization will be on point. But I think it'd be fun to look back on this fic once the new season airs.
I won't spoil who the main antag is supposed to be. I got a feeling Wayne and Raj will be like the frat bro version of Katie and Sadie. So I made sure to keep that in mind when writing them.
I'm honestly not sure what Millie is supposed to be just based off her design. So I just made up something on the spot.
MisterStevenson- As someone who's also writing a story with the sixteen new campers, I have high hopes for this.

"Ya'll know who the fuck I am so let's get started." Chef said "Last time we left off we had a shitty season that got the show cancelled. Now the producers greenlit us for another season. We brought in sixteen teenagers who are actually sane... well most of them are sane. They'll be split up into two teams and compete in challenges. The losers vote somebody off. Then the last person standing wins a million dollars. So don't touch that tv remote or I'll beat the shit out of you. We'll be right back with TOTAL DRAMA REVIVAL!"
~Intro~
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine.
The camera started off at the cliff. Emma was on all fours, pretending to be a horse. MK seemed to be pretty annoyed with her.
You guys are on my mind
She checked to see if anyone was watching. Once the coast was clear she shoved Emma over the cliff. Sending her down into the lake.
You asked me what I wanted to be.
While being underwater, Emma was still pretending to be a horse.
Now I think the answer is plain to see.
Caleb was swimming nearby and decided to rescue her. The two went above surface to get some air. Emma caught a glimpse of Caleb and started blushing. The camera panned over to the forest. Julia was meditating on a log with her candles and crystals.
I wanna be famous
One of her candles accidentally got knocked over. Starting a forest fire. Julia screamed as she ran away.
I wanna live close to the sun
Nichelle and Bowie were on a canoe together. They were slapping each other repeatedly. Unaware of their impending doom.
Go pack your bags cuz I've already won.
They fell down the river. Zee was standing on a log. He had a soda in his hand and was ready to drink. Before his lips could touch the can. Nichelle and Bowie fell on top of him. Their combined weight broke the log and they went into the river.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way.
Ripper was leaning against the confessional. Laughing at what he just saw. The confessional door swung open showing Millie with a disapproving look on her face. Ripper stopped laughing.
I'll get there one day.
The camera panned over to the Mess Hall. Chris was in the kitchen, trying his best to make something. Damien was at the counter practicing his rap skills. Chris took a wooden spoon and shoved it into Damien's mouth.
Cause I wanna be famous
Priya was also at the counter with a handful of books. She was frantically writing down something on a piece of paper. She accidentally snapped her pencil and let out a scream of frustration.
Na na na na! Na na na na! Na na na na na!
The camera zoomed over to a shot of the lake. A seagull floated aimlessly in the water. A rising trout got eaten by a shark. A octopus tentacle came up and snatched the seagull.
I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!
The camera now focused on the Dock of Shame. Wayne and Raj were running away from a purple yeti. Once the two hockey players were out of sight. The yeti ripped off it's face. Revealing itself to be Scary Girl in disguise.

All of the campers were sitting in a campfire circle. Chase and Axel were sitting together. Chase glanced over at Axel and smiled. Axel did not look interested in the slightest. Chase tried to play it off and look in the other direction.
The final shot showed the logo of the show. "Total Drama Revival."
"We're back." Chef said "Our first camper should be arriving any minute now."
A yacht dropped off the first camper. She was chubby, blonde and wearing an orange sweater. She dropped her things and ran over to hug Chef.
"I'm so happy you picked me for this show!" Emma said
"Will there be any horsies?" Emma asked
"There might be some in the mystery meat." Chef said
"Y-You killed the horsies?" Emma asked with concern
"Don't look at me. I'm not in charge of cooking anymore. You're looking at the new host of Total Drama!" Chef said
"Oh.. then why are you still called Chef?" Emma asked
"Uhhhhh. Would you look at that?! The next camper has arrived!" Chef said
The next yacht arrived. A hispanic military girl stepped onto the dock with her things. She brushed by Emma and Chef without saying a word.
"Whose that?" Emma asked
Chef pulled out a list from his pocket.
"According to my sources. That's Axel." Chef said
"Yay! A new friend!" Emma said
Emma let go of Chef and walked over to Axel.
"Hi! I'm Emma! I'm sixteen! I love horsies-" Emma said
"And I don't care. Go away." Axel said
"Where do you want me to go?" Emma asked
"JUST SHUT UP ALREADY! GOD!" Axel shouted
Emma pouted as she crossed her arms. The third yacht arrived.
"Girls this is Damien." Chef said
A black teen with exaggerated amounts of swagger stepped onto the dock.
"Yo yo yo! Young Drizzle here to represent!" Damien said
Damien walked over to Chef and offered a handshake.
"What's good Grandmaster CH? Nice to see a brotha at the top." Damien said
Chef shook Damien's hand.
"Yeah..." Chef said
"I'll holla at you later. I gotta go speak to those fine honeys over there." Damien said
Once Damien was out of sight. Chef looked at the camera and whispered.
"I didn't understand a word he just said." Chef whispered
Damien walked over to Emma and Axel.
"I'm sure you two are excited to meet Young Drizzle! The hottest Soundcloud Rapper on the internet right now!" Damien said
"I thought your name was Damien." Emma said
"Girl that's my government name! All my homies call me Young Drizzle! Because I make it rain!" Damien said
Damien pulled out some money from his pocket and threw it into the air. Emma picked one up off the ground.
"This is just monopoly money." Emma said
"Gimme that"! Damien said
Damien swiped the fake money from her and put in his pocket. The fourth yacht arrived. A hispanic teen wearing a red hoodie stepped onto the dock. He had loads of camping gear with him.
"Looks like Chase came prepared." Chef said
"Of course! You can never be too careful out in the wilderness." Chase said
Chase opened up one of his bags.
"I brought bear spray, bug spray, a flashlight, a compass, some sleeping bags, emergency beef jerky-" Chase said
"It's a half hour show kid." Chef said
Chase cleared his throat and smiled.
"Right. My apologies." Chase said
Chase grabbed his stuff and walked across the dock. He decided to stand next to Axel.
"Yep. I'm a wilderness survival expert. Do you want to hear about the time I fought a bear?" Chase said
"No." Axel said
"Are you sure? It's a really interesting story." Chase said
"I said no." Axel said
"Come on-" Chase said
Axel grabbed Chase by his hoodie.
"WHAT PART OF "NO" DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND BOY SCOUT?!" Axel screamed
Damien and Emma rushed over to separate the two. They each stood at opposite ends of the dock. Axel growled at Chase who responded with a smile. The fifth yacht arrived. Another blonde girl who was taller than Emma stepped out with her things.
"Chef it's nice to meet you." Julia said "I'm loving the Taurus energy you're bringing."
"Uh.. thanks?" Chef said
Julia walked over to meet her fellow campers. Within seconds she was able to tell their zodiac signs.
"Virgo, Scorpio, Aries and Cancer. Hmm very nice." Julia said
"What's she talking about?" Emma asked
"I don't know man. Sounds like hippie mumbo jumbo to me!" Damien said
"It's not mumbo jumbo. I memorized the horoscope. It's a blessed device gifted to us by the gods." Julia said
"Okay Ms. Fortune Teller. Tell me what number I'm thinking of." Damien said
Julia reached down to grab a crystal from her bag. She brought it up to her head and hummed.
"You are thinking of the number 9." Julia said
"I was thinking of the number 10! Ha! You are a fake!" Damien said
"Hmm my crystal is telling me that you are lying. You were thinking of the number 9." Julia said
"Your crystal can suck on my-" Damien said
"Guys! Let's keep it PG!" Chef yelled
The sixth yacht arrived. A black girl with braids stepped onto the dock. She took off her sunglasses and walked over to Chef.
"Does this place have wi-fi?" Nichelle asked
"In certain areas." Chef said
"Great! I'm gonna make so many tiktoks." Nichelle said
Nichelle walked over to the dock.
"Hey fellow competitors! Are you any of you on Tiktok? I'd love to give you a follow." Nichelle said
"I don't use social media." Axel/ Chase said
The two shared a glance. Axel scoffed and looked away.
"I use Instagram if you have that." Julia said
"And I'm poppin on Soundcloud! The number one rapper in the game yessir!" Damien said
"You can follow me on Facebook!" Emma said
All of the competitors stared at Emma with shock. Emma was a bit confused.
"W-What did you just say?" Nichelle asked
"Follow me on Facebook?" Emma said
Nichelle slapped her forehead on frustration.
"Did I mess up and say something bad?" Emma asked
"Girl only old people use Facebook!" Damien said
"Well when you say it like that. My friend list is filled with a bunch of people who are in a retirement home." Emma said
"That's just sad." Julia said
Nichelle got up and rushed over to Emma.
"Once the introductions are done. I am making you a Tiktok account. Understood?" Nichelle said
Emma nodded.
"Good. That's on period sis." Nichelle said
The seventh yacht arrived. A chubby white boy stepped onto the dock. He held his hand over his face.
"Is it always this bright outside?" Ripper asked
"Yes Ripper. Are you sure you're ready to compete?" Chef asked
Ripper shrugged in response. He walked over to the rest of his competitors.
"Sup losers." Ripper said
"Hey I'm not a loser. At least I don't think I am. Better check my horoscope to make sure." Julia said
Julia pulled out her chart and started reading it.
"You're one to talk about people being losers. Can you even do a push up?" Axel asked
"Of course I can." Ripper said sarcastically
"Great then let's see it." Axel said
Ripper quickly realized the situation he put himself in. He groaned as he dropped to the ground and tried to lift his body up. He failed to do so but managed to let out a nasty fart. Everyone recoiled in disgust and backed away from him.
"Now I see why they call you Ripper." Nichelle said
Nichelle covered her nose. The eighth yacht arrived. A tall lanky Hispanic teen stepped onto the dock.
"Hey man. Got any soda on you?" Zee asked
"No Zee. Your parents gave us strict instructions to not give you anything with caffeine in it. Apparently it makes you crazy hyperactive." Chef said
"But I need it man... please?" Zee asked with puppydog eyes
"NO. Go stand with the rest of the cast. I have an announcement to make." Chef said
Zee sighed and walked over to where the others were.
"Ew why does it smell like a wet burrito?" Zee asked
Everyone pointed at Ripper who was still on the ground.
"Guilty as charged." Ripper said sarcastically
Zee used his shirt to cover up his nose.
"The other half of the cast will be arriving soon. But I figured now would be a good time to tell you that you'll be working alongside each other as a team! From here on out you'll be known as The Ferocious Trout!" Chef said
A blue symbol with a trout appeared on the screen.
"What's so ferocious about trout?" Ripper asked
"Oh boy do I have a story for you. One time my dad and I went fishing, I forgot to bring the bait. So he made me put my hands in the water. I waited for a while and then a fish jumped up and-" Chase said
Ripper pretended to fall asleep and made snoring noises.
"Aw c'mon I was just getting to the good part." Chase said
The ninth yacht arrived. A tall lanky black teen wearing a crop top walked onto the dock.
"Welcome to the island Bowie. You'll be the first member of Team #2." Chef said
"That sounds great Chef! And I will say that you are totally rocking that outfit." Bowie said
"Really? I just picked the first thing I found in my closet." Chef said
"Then you clearly have a good eye for fashion. And if it came out of the closet then it must be good!" Bowie said
Bowie laughed at his own joke. When he noticed no one was laughing with him, he cleared his throat. Bowie walked over to the end of the dock.
"Hey queens. I'm loving the energy this group is bringing." Bowie said
"What's with the outfit?" Ripper asked
"This? Just a little something I threw together. Do you like it? Because I have a blue crop top that would look fetch on you." Bowie said
"I was gonna say it looks horrible. You look like Barney's gay cousin." Ripper said
Damien and Chase laughed at Ripper's joke. Bowie gasped dramatically.
"Okay I see how it is. I was trying to be nice but if that's how you want to do things. FINE." Bowie said
Bowie walked away from Ripper and stood at the other side of the dock. The tenth yacht arrived. A muscular black teen stepped onto the dock. Emma, Nichelle, Julia and Bowie's jaws dropped to the floor.
"Chef! It's a honor to meet you man. " Caleb said
Caleb brought Chef in for a hug.
"C-Caleb! You're crushing me!" Chef said
"Whoa sorry! Sometimes I forget how strong I am." Caleb said
Caleb let go of Chef and headed towards the other campers.
"Hey everybody! I'm Caleb and I hope we can all have a good summer together." Caleb said
Before Emma could even open her mouth, Bowie shoved her aside.
"Nuh uh! We're on the same team so I get first dibs!" Bowie said
Bowie turned to Caleb with a goofy smile.
"Hey..." Bowie said as he waved
"I'm Bowie and I'm totally single. Just in case you wanted to know."
"I'll keep that in mind." Caleb said with a wink
"Oh my goodness!" Bowie said
Bowie feinted dramatically and fell onto the dock.
"Is he okay?" Caleb asked
Nichelle, Julia and Emma crowded around Caleb.
"Who cares about him? Let's talk about YOU." Nichelle said
Axel, Ripper and Chase seemed to be unimpressed with Caleb's antics.
"Well at least now with him here. Everyone else is equal on the ugly scale." Ripper said
"Speak for yourself. I don't really see the appeal in him anyways." Axel said
"Right? I bet a pretty boy like him won't last a day in the wilderness." Chase said
Axel rolled her eyes. The eleventh yacht arrived. An Indian girl scurried onto the dock.
"How long will these introductions be? I have some homework to do!" Priya said
"Homework? Priya we're in the middle of summer right now." Chef said
"Yes I know but my parents put me in summer school! I have to make them think I'm doing an internship or they'll be very mad at me!" Priya said
"Okay okay calm down. We're about halfway done with the introductions. But I still have to show you around camp." Chef said
Priya groaned in frustration.
"But you could always do some work while I introduce the others." Chef said
"Yes! Thank you Chef!" Priya said
Priya gave Chef a quick hug and ran to the end of the dock. She was so worried about school; she didn't even bother to glance at Caleb. She sat down and opened her backpack. She pulled out a book and started reading it.
"I guess we know who the nerd of the cast is supposed to be." Ripper said
"I thought it was supposed to be you." Axel said
"Hey!" Ripper said
The twelfth yacht arrived. But nobody was dropped off.
"Huh? That's weird. I was told we were supposed to be meeting-" Chef said
"BOO!" ? said
Chef let out a girlish scream and turned around. A pale girl with purple hair stood behind him.
"The look on your face was priceless!" Scary Girl said
Scary Girl broke out into a fit of laughter.
"Very funny Scary Girl." Chef said sarcastically
"Thanks! I try my best!" Scary Girl said
Scary Girl cartwheeled her way over to the others. She stuck her hand out and waited for a handshake.
"Well? Isn't anyone gonna shake my hand?" Scary Girl asked
"I don't know man. You're kinda spooky." Zee said
"C'mon I'm not gonna bite you!" Scary Girl said
Scary Girl took the opportunity to show off her fake vampire fangs. Zee jumped in fear and hid behind Chase.
"S-Shoinks!" Zee said
"Zee you're overreacting. She's just a girl. I'll show you there's nothing to be afraid of." Chase said
Chase shook Scary Girl's hand and was electrocuted. Axel and Ripper laughed as Chase let go.
"Ow! What the hell!" Chase said
"Hahahahahaha! That was the oldest trick in the book!" Scary Girl said
Chase tended to his injured hand. The thirteenth yacht arrived. A chubby black girl stepped onto the dock.
"Welcome to the island Millie." Chef said
"It's a pleasure to be here Chef!" Millie said
Millie looked at Chef and squinted her eyes.
"What?" Chef said
"Are you sure you're eating enough? You look famished." Millie said
"Well I did skip breakfast this morning." Chef said
Millie reached into her bag and pulled out a muffin.
"You need to eat so you'll have your strength. This is why I always come prepared with blueberry muffins." Millie said
"Blueberry? That's my favorite!" Chef said
Chef swiped the muffin and ate it. The others looked intrigued and walked over to Millie.
"You got anymore muffins?" Zee asked
"Of course I do silly!" Millie said
Everyone reached into Millie's bag and grabbed a muffin. Even the more standoffish campers were enjoying it.
"These muffins are almost as good as our resident eye candy." Nichelle said
Nichelle caught a quick glimpse of Caleb's abs and blushed.
"Almost." Nichelle said
The fourteenth yacht arrived. A guy wearing a red-baseball cap headed off the ship. Wayne took a look around and cheered.
"Yes! You didn't select him!" Wayne said
"What are you talking about?" Chef asked
"I did an audition tape with a friend. I was worried you were gonna pick us both." Wayne said
"Oh you misunderstood me. We actually did select him. He should be here any minute." Chef said
"Seriously?" Wayne asked
Wayne sighed as he saw another yacht coming. He could tell who the next camper was gonna be.
"BROOOO!" Raj yelled
Raj jumped onto the dock and hugged Wayne.
"We made it bro! This summer is gonna be awesome!" Raj said
"Totally.." Wayne said
The final yacht arrived. A small Korean girl stepped onto the deck.
"Alright our final camper! I have no idea how to pronounce her name so just call her MK." Chef said
MK nodded and walked over to the other end of dock. She didn't say a word and blended in with the crowd.
"Now that you're all here. Bowie, Caleb, Priya, Scary Girl, Milie, Wayne, Raj and MK you are officially Team 2! Otherwise known as the Frogs of Death!" Chef said
"Sweet!" Scary Girl said
"Now that the teams are settled. Follow me and I'll give you a tour around the island." Chef said
The fifteen campers followed Chef Hatchet. Caleb grabbed the unconscious Bowie and slung him over his shoulders.
~The Mess Hall~
Chef and the campers entered the Mess Hall. A very bored Chris Mclean stood over at the counter.
"Here you'll be served breakfast, lunch and dinner by Chef Mclean!" Chef said
Chris banged his head against the counter.
"I'm still confused. Why did you two switch roles?" Emma asked
"Well you see Emma. After the show originally got cancelled, the producers were PISSED at Mclean. They felt like he completely ruined the franchise. So when the show got renewed. They wanted a more.. dependable host." Chef said
"This is bullshit! I am the face of Total Drama! There is no show without me!" Chef Mclean said
"Hush up Mclean. We have hungry campers that need to be fed." Chef said
Chef Mclean grumbled and headed back into the kitchen.
"I agree with Emma. It's a bit weird having two Chefs. Can't we call you something else?" Chase asked
"If it bothers you that much just call me Mr. Hatchet." Mr. Hatchet said
"Will do Mr. Hatchet." Chase said
"While Chris works on lunch. I'll show ya the other parts of camp." Mr. Hatchet said
CONFESSIONAL: MR. HATCHET
"This is where you can air your most private thoughts for the world to see."
"You could also take a dump. But I wouldn't advise it."
END CONFESSIONAL
~ The Cabins~
"The rules are still the same. Boys get one side and girls get the other. You can unpack your stuff here." Mr. Hatchet said
The campers headed to their respective cabins. Caleb placed Bowie onto a bed.
"He must be having a good sleep." Caleb said
~Bowie's Dream~
Bowie was on a throne being served popsicles by barely dressed men. He took one popsicle and shoved it into his mouth.
"Mhmm! It's so good!" Bowie said
~The Cabins~
In reality. Bowie was sucking his own thumb. All the guys had unpacked.
"What do we do about Sleeping Beauty over there?" Ripper asked
"Maybe he needs a kiss from his prince?" Zee suggested
"I don't know man. Kissing someone whose unconscious is kinda weird." Caleb said
"Hmph. You guys clearly don't know anything. My grandpa taught me how to wake someone up." Chase said
Chase grabbed a canteen from his luggage. He splashed it onto Bowie's face. Bowie screamed as he woke up.
"That's one way to wake somebody up." Caleb said
Meanwhile on the girl side of the cabin. Nichelle was creating a Tiktok account for Emma.
"There you go! You're all set!" Nichelle said
"Cool! Soo... what do I do now?" Emma asked
"Let's start off easy. You can start dancing and I'll record you." Nichelle said
Emma nodded. She got on all fours and neighed.
"Girl what the fuck is that." Nichelle said
"I'm doing the horsie dance!" Emma said
Emma continued her horse impression. Nichelle put the phone down and slapped her forehead.
CONFESSIONAL: NICHELLE
"I'm all for supporting my fellow queens. But Emma needs a lot of work if she wants to be seen with me in public."
END CONFESSIONAL
~ Mess Hall~
Chris gave up on cooking. So he just ordered a pizza for the campers to eat. They all sat with their respective teams.
"Yo yo yo! This pizza is legit!" Damien said
"Stop talking with your mouth full." Axel said
"You ain't the boss of me!" Damien said
Axel growled like a pit-bull. Damien chewed silently with his mouth closed. Mr. Hatchet entered the Mess Hall.
"Are you guys ready for your first challenge?" Mr. Hatchet asked
"Sure! It can't be that hard." Chase said
~The Forest~
The two teams stood in the forest.
"Aw sh*t." Chase said
"I didn't even explain the challenge yet." Mr. Hatchet said
"Oh sorry my bad." Chase said
That about covers it. I'll just say this once here so I don't have to repeat myself but reviews are greatly appreciated. Gives me the motivation to keep on going. Onto the chapter itself. Still don't know the characters personalities yet so guesses had to be made. As of right now, I would say my favorite character designs are Scary Girl and Damien. The clothing and color palette for those two are just a cut above the rest. As for the Chris and Chef twist. Consider it a punishment for Chris because of how he acted during All Stars and Pahkitew. Chef barely had any screentime in those two seasons so I feel like he's due for a larger role. Since this is my own take on the season. I decided to have some fun and switch up the teams a bit. Here's a team roster in case anyone gets confused.
