Volume 5:
Chapter 23: Galaxy at Peace
Sometime later, we see the Falcon flying over the planet of Talravin.
It wasn't in any form of rush.
The Falcon then lands in a field.
The landing bridge opened up.
Rey walked down the ramp.
She had longer hair and white robes. As well as a small baby bump.
In her left hand she was holding Bastilla's lightsaber. And on her belt was a new lightsaber, seemingly fashioned from her old staff.
Rey then walked towards a tree that was surrounded by flowers.
She gave a small smile.
She had been wanting for a long time to visit Bastilla's homeworld. As she stood there, she then heard a tiny voice say….
"Mama?"
Rey looked over to see her 6 year old son.
He had her skin tone and hair color, but his dad's eyes and looks.
"Ben", Rey said as she smiled.
She knelt down and hugged her son.
Benjamin Luke Skywalker.
He was Named after Ben Solo and Luke Skywalker.
He was her little angel.
Ben giggled as he hugged his mother.
Rey smiled, and then saw someone else approaching.
It was her husband Ani.
And he was holding a little girl the same age as Ben. She looked like Rey, but with short hair like her Ani's, as well his skin tone.
"My love, and Bastilla", Rey said.
Batilla giggled as Ani said, "hey honey."
Rey stood up and walked over to the two.
She gave Ani a kiss on the lips.
Ben said, "ew…."
Bastilla giggled.
Rey and Ani then broke the kiss. They smiled lovingly at one another.
"Pretty flowers", Bastilla said as she saw the flowers.
Ani said, "very good sweety. They are pretty, aren't they?"
Bastila giggled as she nodded her head.
Rey said, "this is where your namesake used to live."
Bastilla asked, "really?"
Rey nodded.
Bastila giggled in joy.
Rey and Anu smiled at their children.
"Hello there."
They turned to see Revan and Bastilla standing there.
The two kids squealed in joy. Rey and Ani smiled.
Ben and Lila, Bastilla's nickname for Rey's daughter, ran to their grandparents
Revan and Bastilla knelt down to hug Ben and Lila.
"Grandpa", Ben squealed in joy.
Lila squealed happily, "Grandma!"
Revan and Bastilla smiled as they picked up the kids.
They hugged them close.
Rey and Ani smiled at the sight. It was so touching.
They knew how much the twins loved Revan and Bastilla.
They were quite literally their guardian angels.
"Um, excuse me masters, but need I remind you that in 2 hours we must not be late to the ceremony being held at the Jedi Temple", One-One said.
Ani said, "right. The ceremony. Hard to believe it's already here."
"Time did fly by fast", Rey said.
Ani nodded in agreement.
The family spent the next hour hanging out on this planet, before they left to go back to Coruscant….
….
Later, on Coruscant….
We see the family arrive at the Jedi Temple.
Ani was carrying Ben.
Rey was carrying Lila.
They saw other Jedi gathering into the temple.
"This Ceremony means so much to everyone here", Rey said.
Ani nodded in agreement.
This Ceremony was held every year in the Jedi Temple, to honor all the Jedi of the past.
It was also held to honor all the most important events in the history of the Galaxy.
This included the end of the last war.
Lola beeped in joy as she flew over to Ani.
Ani smiled at his droid.
Lola nuzzled against Ani's face.
"There is our baby boy and our grandchildren."
Ani looked up to see his father's.
They all smiled at each other.
"Grandpa's", Ben and Lila squealed in joy
Prime said, "there's our little angels."
Prime and Alastor picked up Ben and Lila.
The kid's both giggled.
Prime and Alastor kissed their grandchildren's foreheads.
Lila and Ben giggled.
"Oh, you two are so adorable", Sam said.
Lila said, "thank you grandpa."
Sam smiled and ruffled her hair.
Lila giggled cutely.
Sam then turned to look at Ani and Rey.
He smiled warmly at them.
Ani then hugged his father.
Sam smiled as he hugged his pride and joy.
"I love you dad", Ani said.
Sam said, "I love you too, son."
Prime and Alastor then joined in on the hug.
"Come here Rey", Sam said.
Rey smiled and joined the hug.
The Skywalker family smiled as they hugged one another.
Another very touching moment.
The family then broke the hug.
Ani asked, "where are my siblings?"
Sam said, "Padme's headed here with Poe. Polly's at the mess hall."
"Collin is with Rose, they're over there", Prime said.
Collin was walking over with Rose, who had a large baby bump.
Ani smiled at the sight of his brother and sister in law.
He said, "hey you two."
"Hi little brother", Collin said.
Ani said, "hey Collin. Hey Rose."
Rose smiled as she rubbed her pregnant stomach.
She was seven months pregnant.
Rey asked, "how has it been going for you two?"
Rose said, "good. Just been getting ready for the baby."
"I'm sure they will be so adorable", Ani said.
Rey asked, "where's Leia?"
Sam said, "she just got done at a recent Senate meeting. She should be here soon."
Ani asked, "where is Finn?"
"He and Breha are in the mess hall", Prime said.
Alastor said, "they'll all join up for the ceremony."
"Which will start in a couple of minutes", Sam said.
And what was this ceremony for, we hear you readers asking?
Well….This ceremony was for Ani and Rey.
They were officially being made Jedi Masters.
The two were feeling so proud of themselves.
They'd come a long way since beginning their training.
"Hopefully the others get here in time", Ani said.
"I'm sure they will", Rey said.
….
A few minutes later….
Soon, all of the Jedi were gathered for the ceremony.
Rey and Ani were in the middle. Sam stood right in front of them.
The rest of the Jedi then activated their lightsabers as Sam activated his.
Rey and Ani knelt down.
Sam did the knighting gestures as he said, "by the right of the council, and by the will of the force, I do dub thee; Jedi Masters of the New Republic."
Rey and Ani smiled.
"Rise Jedi Masters", Sam said.
Ani and Rey rose to their feet.
"Thank you", the two said.
Sam smiled and said, "you're welcome."
Ani hugged his father.
Sam smiled as he hugged back.
….
Later, we see Ani standing by the great Tree.
Ani then felt a shoulder on his hand, and he turned around to see the spirit of his grandfather Anakin.
Ani smiled when he saw him.
"Oh my little grandson is now a Jedi Master", Anakin said as he hugged Ani.
Ani smiled and said, "just like you, grandpa."
"Well, I never became a Jedi Master", Anakin said.
Ani said, "oh please. You were a master in all but name."
"You are right", Anakin said as he hugged his grandson.
"And you're a master at showing how much you love your family, grandpa", Ani said as he smiled.
Anakin smiled even more.
Anakin hugged his grandson even more. Ani gave a light chuckle.
Ani asked, "how is uncle Luke and Ben, grandpa?"
Anakin said, "good, considering they're ghosts."
Ani smiled softly.
Anakin asked, referring to Sam, "where is your father by the way?"
Ani said, "he's just talking with the council."
"Okay, after he is done talking with them, I'm gonna give him a ton of hugs", Anakin said.
"It's so sweet and cute that you can't stop treating my father like a baby", Ani chuckled.
Anakin chuckled with him.
….
Later at the Skywalker Apartment….
As Anakin had said, he was now giving his eldest son a ton of hugs.
Sam smiled at this.
"Oh my wittle baby boy", Anakin said softly.
Sam chuckled as he hugged his father.
Even after more than thirty years, he still enjoyed this.
"I love you dad", Sam said.
Anakin said, "I love you too, son."
Sam smiled as he kept hugging his father.
The moment felt perfect.
"I will always be there for you and our family, Sam", Anakin said.
Sam said, "I know dad. I know."
Anakin held his son closer to him, for a while.
Sam smiled as his father held him close…. He was always happy to have moments like this.
….
Many years later….
Ani was now in his thirties, wearing light gray robes as he meditated.
And right beside him was his now 15 year old son Ben.
Ben looked very much like his father, and wore light brown robes.
He was meditating until he lost his concentration.
He groaned lightly.
"Ben, you need to be patient", Ani said.
Ben said, "I don't know how you do it dad."
"It takes some time to learn", Ani chuckled.
Ben asked, "how do you stay so patient?"
"It took me years, but training really helped me learn to be more patient", Ani said.
Ben asked, "what kind of training?"
"Meditating", Ani said.
Ben said, "but that's what we're doing right now!"
"I felt the same way you did when I was your age, but my master and father always told me that meditation helps you learn to be patient, but if you wish, we can take a little break", Ani said.
Ben said, "thanks."
"Let's go get something to eat, I'm sure your mother and sister are there now", Ani said.
Ben nodded.
The two then began to walk towards the cafeteria.
When they got there, they saw Rey and Lila sitting at a table.
Rey saw the two and she smiled.
She gestured for them to come over.
Ani and Ben then sat down at the table. Ani smiled at his wife and daughter. The latter of whom looked a lot like her mother.
Rey asked Ben, "how did your training go sweety?"
Ben sighed.
"I can already guess it didn't go well", Lila said.
Ben said, "I'm having trouble being patient!"
"Oh Ben, it takes time to learn how to be patient", Rey said.
Lila said, "clearly he doesn't have the patience for patience."
Ben glared at his sister.
Lila giggled.
Rey and Ani rolled their eyes at their children.
Rey said, "patience is a virtue, Ben."
"And it's one of the keys to become a wise Jedi", Ani said.
Ben asked, "how did you become so patient? And don't say meditation! Cause that ain't working! My problem is being patient enough TO meditate."
Ani gave a small sigh.
Then he thought of what to say.
"My mind would always be at peace due to your mother's help", Ani said.
Lila and Ben gave confused looks while Rey started giggling uncontrollably.
Ani smiled at his wife.
Ben suddenly realized what they meant and said, "ewwwwww!"
Lila asked, "what Ben?"
Ben said, "don't ask."
"Ben!"
Ben turned around to see his girlfriend.
She was a Nightsister with long black hair and a sizable chest. She was dressed in purple and black.
Her name is Jade.
"Jade", Ben said as he stood up and walked towards her.
Jade gave a warm smile.
The two then shared a kiss.
Ani and Rey smiled at this.
Lila smiled as well.
It was nice to see him find love
Now she hoped she would soon find a boyfriend or girlfriend. That's right, Lila was bi-sexual.
One-One then rolled into the room.
"Masters, it's almost time to take the family photo", One-One informed.
Ani said, "okay, One-One."
"Come on everyone", Ani called out.
The rest of the family followed Ani.
They made their way to the gardens.
They saw the rest of their family was there waiting already.
Every Solo, Skywalker and Clawthorne.
Sam called out, "is everyone ready for the photo?"
Everyone nodded.
Everyone then sat near the great tree.
A probe droid floated in front of them, ready to take the picture.
"Everyone say; May the Force be with you", Sam said.
They all said, "May the Force be with you!"
The probe droid then took the photo.
It was a very large one at that.
And it would be a photo that would be cherished for generations…. Hung up over the Skywalker's fireplace for generations.
….
"And The End! For good this time…. I think", Luz said.
The entire group clapped at Luz' story.
"That was amazing", Marek said.
Galen said, "stupendous!"
Willow said, "tremendous!"
"It was a truly worthy Sequel", Gus said
Luz said, "thanks. I changed a lot from the original source material."
"Now it makes me wanna see what the original one was like", Ahsoka said.
Luz said, "it's a mixed bag."
Beru asked, "really?"
Luz said, "yeah. I like to think the good moments overshadow the bad. But I'm usually in the minority."
"But one day, I will happily show you the original Sequel Trilogy", Luz said.
Then a bell rang.
"Kids! Dinner", Sam called out.
Luz said, "coming!"
"Can't wait for us to continue with these stories", Aiden said.
Gus said, "totally."
The kids then left the room.
Another great day of storytelling.
And more would soon come….
But that is for another time.
For now, Luz simply smiled at the readers and said, "until next time…."
Luz then closed the door to the room.
And thus ends another What If story….
