Greenlee Smyth DuPres Lavery was looking into the face of what she had wanted. Her husband. Ryan. Her Ryan. He was back. However, Greenlee wasn't feeling happiness or joy, or quite frankly, anything of the sort. No. Greenlee was feeling rage.

"You stupid bastard." Greenlee snarled.

"Greenlee" He started coming over to her. She'd never noticed how his eyes bulged like that. He resembled some time of exotic insect. He had shaved his head, and this did not help matters.

"Don't you dare speak to me!" Greenlee couldn't believe that only four hours earlier she had been so happy to hear he was alive, it had been a miracle. And then she realized that he had done this to her. She was twenty-eight years old and he had made her think she had lost another husband. He had known what she had gone through when Leo died. The grief she had felt. And this time... when she was PREGNANT?

"Who the hell do you think you are?" She asked him crying. "How could you do that to me? How could you?"

"Greenlee…" He huffed. "I thought it was for the best. I felt such rage. And I just had to stay away."

"For SEVEN Months?" She asked. "Seven months of guilt, and pain…"

"But I missed you…and the baby. And I heard about the surrogacy." He smiled "We're going to have a baby"

"No we're not." She told him. Her voice was dead. "Our baby died. You got what you wanted. I had a miscarriage."

"But…Kendall. She's pregnant. I heard." Ryan gasped.

"Yes. My egg. But not your sperm. That crap is as toxic as you are." Greenlee told him. "David did the best thing he could have. He realized what you were and he switched the samples… I was angry when I first found out. But this stunt of yours proved how right he was."

"Well. We can still raise the baby together." He warbled. "It'll be fine. We'll be fine. I talked to Erin…"

"Ah. Yes, your sister. The only one of you that isn't evil. We didn't believe her at first when she said you were alive. Nope, took us six months to listen to her, when Aiden got track of your car coming into a shopping mall." She looked at him with disgust "You know, your brain was never your premier organ but I did think you were smart enough to not use the same license."

"But I came back because I love you…."

That was it. Greenlee hauled off and punched him so hard she had to shake her fist after. "How dare you say that? The things I sacrificed for you…God, the way I treated Kendall." She shook your head.

He snorted. "Kendall is…"

"The best friend I've ever had." She interrupted "and only I can slam her. You say anything negative and I'll hit you again."

"But the baby." He started. He had no idea why Greenlee was acting like this… "You said our love could solve anything."

"I was an idiot" She turned around, but before she walked away she said "And stay the hell away from my baby and Kendall."

She walked away, feeling free for the first time in a year.
