"Please," she hoarsely whispered, behind a fallen log hid eyes red-shot sobbing. Tony hesitates. "Let me go, please, I haven't killed anyone," quietly cried at the gun he to her head had aimed horrifically stared wholly shaking. "I didn't want this. I never wanted to be a monster. I don't wanna hurt anyone, and I don't wanna die," she harder cried his heart clenched tightly – he couldn't, put the gun down.
"Quickly, run." Stunned her blue eyes widened. "Now," he quietly hissed around gazing. To her feet she stumbled sped away – a shot sounds, she freezes, falls face-first to the ground.
Shocked and alarmed back Tony jerked his head – it was Howard. From about the rest, Chester, Marc and Layla, and Steve near had seemingly slain all other vampires in or around the cabin. Towards him Howard wrathful was stomping, demanding: "What the hell are you doing?"
A beat it took him to quell the so unfathomable rage that in him built and sternly answer: "…She was just a kid."
"She was a vampire! She could've been-"
"She was terrified – she didn't choose this!"
"She's a killer!"
"No, we are!" No warning Howard in the face squared him, so hard he fell and the others Steve first paced forward.
"You need to wake the fuck up. Just cause it looked like a werewolf saved your sorry ass." Unspeakably at that furious harshly he shrugged Steve's hand away fumbling to his feet as on Howard chided: "Does not mean you get to make stupid decisions letting superhumans walk free, free to take more lives-"
"No, I'm done." Steve's alarmed further highly.
"You're done? Done with what?"
"With you. With this-"
"What the fuck does-" forth he took a step – at him Tony aimed his gun – he stops – the team panics.
"You stay the fuck away from me."
"Tony," cautious called Steve as frigidly Howard added:
"Put it down or I'll-" Abruptly Tony to the ground dropped a small metal sphere that sprayed rapid smoke and sounded loud pops masked his take off thoughtless into the woods, heart and head pound he stops not for a beat hearing them call his name – where's he going what's he doing he doesn't know but he can't be there, he. Stops four minutes of running in leans to a tree set against it his back breathing sharply. Chest burned the reactor throbbed he put over it his hand vision blurs briskly eyes water.
Out of nowhere Loki appeared startling him just in slight. Wide greens in a deep concern furrowed his face calling worried his name – promptless Tony dashed into him wrapping tightly his arms uncontrollably sobbing. Althemore shaken alarmed and inconceivably agitated Loki instantly holds him close listens in, hears the others their voices and steps approaching, with him apparates to his room two seconds and Tony frantically into his chest rambles:
"I don't wanna do this anymore! I don't wanna do this!"
"Tony-"
"I can't. I can't kill anymore, I don't want to-"
"Shh. Tell me what happened," softly Loki asked pulled back cupped his face greens concerned alike reassured him. It took the latter a minute to compose tried to even his voice that was grievous and shaky.
"There was a girl. She was just a kid, I couldn't – I let her go, and he – I don't-"
"Shh, it's alright." Tears streamed down his face that at Loki wiped but fervent Tony shook his head insisting:
"No-"
"Tony. Listen to me very carefully. You are not a killer – you never were-"
"But I've-"
"You didn't know any better-"
"I di-"
"You did not. Hesitating, gets you killed – do you understand me? No superhuman will feel sympathy for a hunter – none would spare one-"
"You spared me-"
"Because. I hate what I am!"
He knows, and yet the phrase to from Loki hear impacts him.
"It'd have been so much easier if I didn't give a damn but I do. So do you…We're not like the rest, and we do not have to be. I stopped trying to live up to people's expectations, and started living up to mine," he repeats what once Tony had told him. "And now you will do the same. I'll help you."
Asudden notice his eyes when, moved aside that hand beneath sees the bruise forming, lightly pressed his thumb and Tony winced.
Greens fiercely hardened, his voice sinisterly darkening.
"…Did he do this?" Alarmed browns in slight widen, call quickly his name to calm as well as warn him:
"…Loki," who pursed tight his lips inhaled deeply features stiffened. His arm he extends the sleeve shoved back, into his wrist bit face to a vampire's very briefly changing. Over Tony's mouth he put his slit wrist pressed demanded:
"Drink." To tame his so visibly escalating rage Tony promptly grasped his arm obliging. Bitter blood he at licks swallowing drops at a time; stern greens fixed on his cheek that healed swiftly. He pulled his wrist away wiped from under Tony's lips residue blood, scowled growled wild-like from Tony turned ahead pacing, body tense posture rigid and heaving.
So wary Loki asudden'd disappear and very literally kill Howard he cautiously calls approaching: "Loki, listen to me…When I head back to base," as if he'd let him leave ever again, "I'll wrap things up. I'll pack my stuff, and I'll stay with you, for good." Listening Loki faced him. Tony wearily admits: "I'm tired, of hunting, living in constant fear, trying to…I don't even know," he shrugs gaze hollow declining. Loki frowns takes a step then two back towards him. Up again browns to his eyes lock, and warm. "…I know," he came closer, "how I feel when I'm with you, I know it hurts when I'm not," greens soften. Too well he's come to understand this, eight beats his heart skips at what Tony next tells him. "And nothing matters more to me, than you," cupped then his face asserting: "Whatever I end up doing, I want you with me, constantly, all the time – I know how clingy that sounds-" Promptly off Loki cut him snatched his lips in a firm kiss tugging him closely. Tony smiled warmed, hooked round his neck an arm pulled down kissed him deeply. Softly panting then they part and low but confident Tony calmly says what not in the least reassures Loki: "…Send me back. By the end of tomorrow, it'll be you, and me, and nothing else."
"…Anthony so help me if he lays another fing-"
"He won't. I won't let him touch me." Loki's nose flares wearily exhaling reluctant he frowns, but Tony's smiling faintly so touched by his care even his anger. "…I love you." Troubled greens lenify and warm; Loki tells him in earnest:
"I love you too, my heart."
