"Eliza, I still have a bad feeling about this." Darwin said as he, Eliza and Toto got to the fence outside Room 29.
"I know, Darwin, but we have to go in there for Spirit." said Eliza.
But as she opened the fence, Dorothy's voice called out. "Toto? Here, Toto!"
Toto looked at Eliza, who understandingly said. "Go on ahead. She needs you anyway."
Toto nodded and went to find Dorothy through the crowding students and parents while calling out. "Best of luck to you both."
"Thanks, Toto." Eliza called back, then went through the fence with Darwin, who looked at the litter that's all over the ground.
"Just look at this place." he said. "Don't they know how to recycle properly?"
"Shhh!" Eliza said, pointing at an open room, which she and Darwin looked inside.
"Spirit?" Eliza called softly, but there was no reply.
"Well, he's not here!" said Darwin. "Now, let's go before..."
But Eliza had already gone past the other fence, where she could see the Omegas entering Mrs. Hauser's old classroom, which was used as the Alpha's lair.
"Come on, come on. Keep it moving." Bree told the Omegas, before the sound of a damaged bicycle bell got her's and Sloan's attention.
"Almira Gulch." Sloan said, upon seeing her place the wrecked bike by the wall. "Why'd they call you the Wicked Witch of the West, I'll never know."
Miss Gulch frowned at him, saying. "Always the flatterer, aren't...YEEEEAAAHHHHH!"
As she said this, she felt her hat being pulled off her head and thrown into the ground...by Spirit, who was tied to a tree.
"I'm guessing you met before." Bree said to Miss Gulch, who picked up her hat while glaring at Spirit, telling him. "Just wait and see what the Sheriff has in store for you...and your mangy dog friend too!"
Once Miss Gulch slammed the door shut from inside the old classroom, Spirit peeked through the window to hear Meltdown say. "This is their headquarters?
"Last I checked," said Turnbuckle, who examined the room. "It was overflowing with books, toys, candy, and money."
"At the time, it was." a voice said from behind a chair, which turned to reveal Milady.
"This room was cleaned out shortly after the Imaginaries beat the Alphas in their own game of moonball."
"That would explain its' tidiness." said Sloan.
"Clearly." said Bree.
"Which brings us to where we are today," Milady went on. "Because we share a common hatred against…Nathan 'The Fantasy Boy' Rosenberg!"
Once she pulled down a projector screen, with my school photos taped on it, the Omegas started to boo.
"Why, that misery-bringing nuisance!" fumed Onus, who held up an axe, from which he shaken off by Milady, who said. "Let's not get carried away…yet."
She tossed away the axe, hitting one of my photos, much to Spirit's eye-widening horror.
"While I feel your anger over this boy." said Milady. "Rest assured that he and his little pals will be out of lives soon enough"
"And how you propose we get to the brat?" snarled Scroop, to whom Milady replied. "All good things come to those wait, Mr. Scroop.
"Fortunately," she went on. "Our old king won't be around for much longer. And once he goes, that's when we'll get our targets."
As Spirit listened to the Omegas cheer, he heard a whisper. "Psst! Spirit!"
"Eliza!" he said, upon seeing her. "Oh, am I glad to see you."
"I'm just more relieved they haven't sent you off to the nearest rodeo." Eliza replied while hugging Spirit, who said. "Yeah, I thought that was going to happen too. But these...Omegas...they're up to something and I have a feeling it's not good."
"What do you mean?" asked Eliza.
"Well, judging from that Freddie poster back there," explained Spirit. "I'm guessing they have a grudge against Nathan."
"Nathan?" said Eliza.
"What's that got to do with him?" asked Darwin.
Spirit turned back to the window, hearing the Omegas' talk.
"We'll rip his gizzards right out!" said Turnbuckle.
"We'll pummel him good!" said Meltdown.
"Throw him over cliff!" shouted Onus.
"Look, you better go before they catch you." Spirit said to Eliza, who asked. "But, what about you?"
"Don't worry. I'll be fine. At least, for now." said Spirit. "You just go back and tell Rain. Toto, too. OK?"
Eliza nodded her head, then said. "Come on, Dar."
As she and Darwin left Spirit, little did they realize that Miss Gulch was watching from inside the classroom.
