Chapter one
The roots of legends
It was a cool dusky evening as the holy forest academy. Clouds seemed to move quickly as stars began to appear in the night sky, but something dark and foreboding seemed to blow through the air. Lights began to come on as the sun disappeared behind buildings. Shadows took forms of what looked like giant clawed hands, slowly reaching for their prey. Only a few cars were in the schools parking lot, one that stood out though was a white cresta. A shadow seemed to be on the schools fence. It was watching as a bald man was making his way to the cresta.
Principle uchiyama had had a rough day. 'It's all that damn Onizukas fault' he thought was he fumbled for the keys to his cresta. Before he unlocked it he nuzzled the hood. "Oh my beautiful cresta, this time onizuka won't get his parasitic hands on you." He then started to get into the car when a breeze blew off a piece of paper. "Oh, no! My new insurance provider!" He started to run after it in to the parking lot.
A mouth seemed to form from shadow. It grinned as it hopped down from the fence. Tonight it would begin again. Braces shown from the teeth as it started to move. A rattling was heard as well as it started toward the principle. It could already feel its power growing as it came closer. Legs formed then as they began to glide along the dirt and pavement.
Uchiyama heard the sound of small wheels. "Some skater walking his dog." Veins started to pop out as he thought of his daughter's dog. "Now I've got you." He said as he grabbed the proof of insurance. He turned but was surprised to see some one 20 yards behind him. "Who are you? Do you go to this school?" The voice then spoke. "I am no one, at least for now." The person then started for Uchiyama something was raised though in the person's hand. Uchiyama turned to run but something smashed him in the back of the head. He broke his glasses as he hit the ground. Bleary eyed he looked at the retreating figure. The figure moved to out side the gate, the last thing Uchiyama saw as he lost consciousness was something red on the figures head.
