So, to be honest, this chapter and the three that follow may stretch my current T rating for this story. As a result, I'm debating bringing it up to M, but I would love to hear your opinions of this once you finish reading. Anyway.
Reviews
To the Guest who responded in Chapter 1, the reason Alec had to pull out Mega Evolution was the fact that compared to other Pokémon that Alec has, Bulwark is not that strong. He's like a third-rate Pokémon and has not been training or been around as long as a first-rate Pokémon like Ethan.

An Enemy Returned
Alec's POV
As I flew on Royal's back, my arms holding onto her neck and pressing myself against her to avoid flying off, I looked towards Zip, who was providing my real-time location as I flew to Kyushu. A train or car ride would have taken me a few hours to arrive, far too late for me to do anything. With Royal, I could get there in a few minutes.
Still, I had so many questions. The primary one being, how did all those Weavile get here? Any answer I could come up with didn't make me feel better, and for some reason, I felt like I was walking into a trap.
"Royal, does this whole thing seem odd to you?" I asked her, hoping her years of experience could provide some wisdom.
[I will admit, something about this is off, but right now, I'm not sure what,] she replied.
"Well, I suppose we can ask them after we've taken care of this. Zzzt," Zip pointed out.
"Probably the only way we're going to get answers," I muttered.
"Royal, the city should just be up ahead! Zzzt," Zip shouted.
[I see it, and I can hear the fighting,] Royal replied.
"Well, then it's time to make our entrance," I commented.
Kyushu: Third Person POV
The Weavile were unrelenting, attacking anyone in their path as they ran throughout the city. Several heroes had tried to stop them, but had so far been either knocked out or were being forced to focus on keeping the civilians safe.
"Damn it, where is Hawks?!" one of the male pros questioned as he got a mother and daughter out of the line of fire.
"He's still evacing people three blocks away. He said we should try and lead these things there," another female pro replied.
"What even are these things? Think it has something to do with that Pokémon guy at UA?" a third pro, also male, questioned.
"Right now, we need to focus on keeping the people safe. We can worry about it later," the first pro replied.
"Blue Flare!" a voice shouted above the chaos, and a stream of blue flames blasted down from the sky and cut a path across the street before exploding behind it, not doing much damage to the surrounding area, despite the size of the explosion. As it cleared, the Weavile that were hit directly were knocked out, with several more injured and the rare few managing to escape injury.
"What the hell was that?" the female pro questioned as the three looked up to see Royal flying above them, with Alec visible on her shoulders and glaring towards the Weavile.
Royal then landed behind the pros and let Alec and Ethan off as the trainer approached them. "Focus on getting the civilians to safety. I'll handle this," he ordered.
"Hold up. You expect us to let you deal with this? We can't be sure if this was your fault in the first place! You don't even have the authority," the third pro stated.
Alec scoffed as he dug into his pocket and pulled out the hero license Nezu gave him. "I do have authority. So, are you going to let me handle these wild Pokémon, or do you want to go back to getting your asses handed to you?" he questioned.
The hero was about to protest, but it was another voice that spoke up. "If the guy thinks he can stop this, then I say let him," he said. Alec and the pros turned to see a man with wild blond hair, golden-brown eyes with a yellow visor over them, and with a pair of large red wings sprouting from his back keeping him airborne.
"Hawks, are you serious?" the female pro questioned in surprise.
"Yeah. Besides, if he had something to do with this, he would have shown up a lot sooner. These things have been running around for half an hour as it is," Hawks replied.
"Appreciate it. Now, Ethan," Alec requested as three Weavile jumped towards the trainer, only to be knocked out with a single strike from Ethan's Iron Tail. Alec then grabbed an Ultra Ball from his belt and threw it to reveal Vanguard. "Swords Dance, then Sacred Sword," he ordered calmly.
Vanguard was briefly surrounded by energy blades that clashed against each other before briefly glowing a bright red. He then flew out of his shield and slipped it around his left ribbon. His blade proceeded to glow a bright blue as the remaining Weavile charged towards him with Night Slash or Shadow Claw, only to be knocked out by Vanguard with a few strikes. One Weavile that everyone missed then jumped at Vanguard with Shadow Claw and slash across the backside of the Pokémon. It didn't have time to gloat as Ethan soon slammed it into the ground with an Iron Tail to the head.
[You good, Vanguard?] Ethan asked.
[Yes, Sir Ethan. He did not do too much damage,] Vanguard replied.
"Looks like that's the last of them. My feathers aren't picking up any more of those things," Hawks noted.
"What even were those?" the first pro asked, looking to the trainer for answers.
"Weavile. Though what I don't understand is how they got here, or what so many of them are doing together. Typically, two or three Weavile will be in a pack with about a dozen Sneasel, but this many in one place? That doesn't happen. Not without… oh Distortion World," Alec said, his eyes widening in realization.
"Wait, what are those?" the female pro asked, pointing towards the edge of the city where seven flying objects were moving in. Alec looked over just as they flew overhead, the sound of jet engines passing with them. The trainer managed to recognize them. Those were hover copters used by a few news networks, but primarily used by Pokémon Rangers for long distance travel since most places they went didn't have a good place to land back in Alec's world.
What was on the copters though, made Alec's blood run cold. A pair of dark purple with black outlined 'T's, one in front of the other so that the top line went through the down line of the other, was painted on the sides.
"What? How are they…?" he questioned, unable to keep the shock out of his voice.
"Kirkland, who are these guys?" Hawks questioned as the lead ship landed in the street and the others dropped down ropes and men and women wearing black bodysuits with a full helmet that had a dark, ominous purple 'T' shaped visor, fast climbed down them to the ground. As they landed, some pulled out Poké Balls to return the down Weavile.
Out of the lead craft stepped out a single figure. Over his black bodysuit, he wore a dark gray cloak that fluttered about in the wind, but unlike the others, he only wore a black metal mask over his face, a pair of glowing purple eye showing on the mask with messy dark brown hair, though a good portion of the hair on his left side was shorter than the rest. Almost as if it was just growing back.
The figure looked towards Alec and the heroes before pulling out a Poké Ball from his belt and activating it. "Kill them," he said before throwing the Poké ball and unleashing a Gallade from it that had a Galladite attached to a band on his left arm.
The others threw Poké Balls themselves from one hand, but the other was used to grab a various assortment of guns and blades. The ones with guns open fired towards Alec and the heroes, but Alec managed to break himself out of his shock quickly.
"King's Shield!" he shouted. In a lightning fast motion, Vanguard switched back to shield form and put up a hexagon barrier between the attackers and the heroes, giving them enough time to fall back while Royal and Hawks took to the sky.
The hover copters soon started spreading out throughout the city, causing chaos where they went and firing into crowds of people trying to run.
A few heroes desperately tried to stop them, but at most, all they could do was protect as many people as they could.
"Kirkland, what's going on?!" Hawks questioned as he flew by the trainer.
"Short version: Terrorists from my world! We can figure out the details later, but right now, we have to stop them! No matter what!" Alec shouted before looking at Royal. "Clear the skies!" he ordered.
The legendary dragon flew higher into the air as she started roaming the city, seeing one copter about to fire its twin 20mm's at a group of civilians attempting to flee. Before it could, Royal unleashed a Dragon Pulse at the craft that destroyed it completely and killed the remaining people on it.
Meanwhile on the streets, Alec had let out Arco to combat against his opponent's Gallade, as Vanguard had unfortunately been quickly swept aside by him, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he knew this Gallade from somewhere. The way it moved, the moveset it had used. Psycho Cut, Close Combat, Shadow Claw. It all reminded him of another Gallade.
Though Alec had to put those thoughts aside for the moment, as right now he was trying not to get shot. His blade had been pulled out and extended to its full length, but he kept the plasma coating unlit as he didn't want to waste it.
Taking cover behind an abandoned vehicle, Alec, Ethan, and Hawks tried to plan their next move. "Anything you can tell me about those guys?" Hawks asked.
"Short version. They're called Team Terror. Full on radical terrorists from my world. How they got here and what they're planning, I don't know, but we have to stop them. Even if it means killing them," Alec replied, his voice hard and cold as he attempted to control his emotions.
"That's not exactly something heroes do. Killing people," Hawks pointed out.
"Well, you can do it or not. Either way, they're dead men walking," Alec replied as he peaked over the car to see two members of Team Terror advanceing with the cloaked man Alec believed to be the leader. Arco was still battling the Gallade, blocking a Shadow Claw with Meteor Mash before firing a point black Dragon Pulse at the Gallade, sending him back.
The two grunts had let out their Pokémon, a Liepard and Skuntank, and Alec grabbed another ball from his belt. "Flare, Bug Buzz!" Alec shouted as he ran left and out of the car's cover while throwing Flare's ball to the right.
The Volcarona appeared on the streets and unleashed the lime-green waves that hit both Dark-types hard, but Skuntank remained in better condition than the Liepard. As Flare finished both Pokémon off with a Fiery Dance, Alec managed to close the distance to the first Team Terror member, a female by the look of her suit, and slice his sword across her chest.
As she cried out in pain and fell to the ground, the other Terror grunt was moving to level his rifle at Alec, but he pulled out the female grunt's pistol from her waist and managed to put two bullets into the grunt's chest before one went through his head.
As the grunt fell to the ground, Alec turned to take down the leader, but was surprised when the man managed to close the distance and grab the gun with a mechanical left arm. Alec pressed the trigger and the gun fired, but the now revealed cyborg didn't even react before he crushed the pistol's barrel.
The cyborg ripped the remains of the weapon from Alec's grip and the champion attempted to attack his exposed right side, only for the cyborg to draw his own blade that was practically identical to Alec's.
As the two locked themselves into a sword lock, Alec took this time to figure out who he was fighting. "Who are you people?! A few stranglers I failed to find?" he questioned, his voice filled with anger.
"More than that, Champion," the cyborg replied before punching Alec in the gut with his mechanical arm. The impact forced the air out of Alec's lungs, but he managed to at least direct the lock so his opponent's blade couldn't hit him.
Alec was then backhanded by the metal fist and sent flying back with enough force that he was sent into a nearby car, denting its frame. He attempted to stand, but found himself still gasping for breath.
As two more grunts leveled rifles at him, a figure suddenly slammed the grunt on Alec's right into the other one. "Geez, and I thought you were tougher than this," his savior commented, which Alec saw was a darked skinned woman with long white hair and a pair of rabbit ears and tail. "Name's Mirko, by the way," she introduced.
"Well, I wasn't expecting to fist fight a cyborg today," Alec commented as he managed to stand up and see a group of seven grunts running towards them, weapons drawn. "Ethan, Dark Pulse! Flare, Heat Wave!" Alec shouted. The two Pokémon noticed the incoming grunts and fired their attacks, taking them all out, but it didn't kill them. One grunt though, without being seen, hadn't taken the hit at all, instead falling to the ground on her own.
No one noticed this, instead focusing on the cyborg. "You really are out of shape, Alec. I remember you being stronger, but then again, I'm a lot different from when we last met," the cyborg commented.
"Last met? I think I would remember meeting a cyborg. Especially one in Team Terror," Alec stated.
"Well, I wasn't a cyborg at the time," he replied as Arco took a Psycho Cut to the stomach from Gallade and was sent back to Alec and Mirko.
"Who the hell cares. You're the head honcho of this whole thing, so take you out and this becomes a cakewalk!" Mirko shouted as she charged towards the cyborg, preparing to send a powerful kick with her legs. However, Gallade suddenly intercepted the attack and got in a Close Combat that knocked the Rabbit hero back towards the trainer.
"My, are all you heroes so rude? Can't you see that I'm trying to catch up with an old friend," The cyborg commented as Gallade stood beside him. Alec's eyes then widened with recognition as he saw the way Gallade stood by his trainer, and how he did so with another trainer Alec thought he knew.
"Okay, who are you?! And what are you doing with Daniel's Gallade?!" Alec questioned.
The cyborg was quiet for a moment and exchanged a look with Gallade. "I suppose you wouldn't recognize me like this. Very well. I suppose a reveal is in order," the cyborg said as his mechanical hand moved to his mask.
A hiss was then heard from the mask and the lower faceplate separated from the neck guard and allowed the cyborg to pull it off his face. When his face was revealed, Alec's eyes widened in shock at what he saw. Alec's Pokémon also failed to contain their shock. Only Mirko was left a bit confused as to who this was, but she did react to what she saw on the cyborg's face.
The face revealed was a man with fair skin, with short, messy brown hair with a pair of cold green eyes. The left side of his face was covered in burn scars, with a notable exception being a cut going from the the top of his forehead on the left side, across the bridge of his nose, and down to the right side of his cheek. His hair on the left side was just showing signs of growing back, and his left ear was almost burnt into his skin, as he gave a cruel smirk to the World Champion.
"It's been two years, but I know you wouldn't have forgotten me," the man said, his voice hoarse as he seemed to struggle to keep breathing.
Alec managed to get over his shock just enough to utter a name he never thought he would say to this person. "Daniel?! How?! You died! I saw you die! I killed you myself before your airbase exploded!" Alec shouted in demand.
Daniel let out a rough chuckle before it turned into a full on coughing fit as he reattached his mask back to his armor. He took a deep breath through his suit and let it out.
"Oh, don't feel too bad, Alec. You almost did kill me. Had to replace my liver because of that blade of yours, and you saw the damage the explosion did to me. If it wasn't for a new friend of mine, I would have died after you left me to burn," Daniel said, his voice returning to the mechanical tone.
Alec's shock then turned into a cold rage as he looked at his old friend turned enemy. "Then you're about to wish you did die that day. Because this time, I'll make sure to finish the job," Alec growled as he ignited the plasma on his blade, much to Mirko's surprise as she didn't think the trainer had it in him.
"You are welcome to try," Daniel replied, igniting the plasma on his own blade, which glowed a bright purple in contrast to Alec's light blue.
The two then grasped their Key Stones, with Daniels being embedded into the top of his cybernetic hand. "Mega Evolve!" they both shouted as both Arco and Gallade both entered their Mega forms.
The two Pokémon then rocked towards each other as they clashed with Meteor Mash and Psycho Cut. It was at this point that Mirko saw several more members of Team Terror approaching them. Realizing this was something she could fight, she smirked as she raced towards them.
"This will be fun!" she shouted as she leapt into the air and slammed down on the head of one grunt, knocking him out immediately, before hitting two more with a sweep of her legs to their heads.
The remaining grunts let out their Pokémon in responses, consisting of a Crobat, Luxray, Onix, and Haxorus. Mirko managed to knock out the grunts before they could do much else though, leaving the Pokémon to attack her.
Mirko dodged an Air Cutter from Crobat before slamming a kick across Luxray's face, knocking it out immediately. Onix then slammed onto her back with its tail, knocking the rabbit hero to the ground.
Despite being pinned down, the rabbit hero smirked. "Now it's getting interesting!" she shouted as she managed to spin her legs and knock the tail away. As she stood on her own two legs, she looked towards Crobat, Onix, and Haxorus, who were glaring dangerously at her, but that made Mirko smile even more.
"Alright then, let's see what you Pokémon got!" she shouted.
Meanwhile with Alec and Daniel, the fight between the two of them was quickly turning in the cyborg and his Mega Gallade's favor, as Mega Arco had a hard time overcoming Mega Gallade's Psychic typing, and Daniel was moving faster and stronger than Alec could handle, which resulted in them both starting to lose their fights, but they weren't out of it yet.
"I have to admit, you haven't stopped training. You're better than I remember," Alec commented between heavy breaths.
"You've unfortunately let yourself go a bit, but I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. After everything, I would have been disappointed if you hadn't," Daniel commented before looking at where Mega Gallade and Mega Arco were tearing apart the area with their attacks, thankfully the civilians were not around so Mega Arco didn't have to worry about them. "And it seems that your Pokémon have gone through something similar. Once again, you refuse to let them use their full power," he added.
"You seriously going to try and preach your bullshit to me now? After everything that's happened you still believe I'll just lead your little revolt?" Alec questioned, now having caught his breath but his chest was still in pain, which showed in his voice.
"No, that would be hoping too much."
Alec then smirked. "Regardless, you forget that my team never leaves another hanging," Alec said. At that moment, as Mega Gallade was about to hit Mega Arco with a Psycho Cut, he was slammed in the side by a Dark Pulse fired from Ethan, you had finished dealing with a small group of grunts who attempted to come in from behind the fight, their Pokémon knocked out and two grunts dead from Ethan's Iron Tail, the rest being killed after Ethan crushed their lungs with Psychic.
[You alright, Arco?] Ethan asked.
[Yeah. Thanks. I'm really getting sick of this guy,] Acro replied.
[I'll admit, you are a good opponent, Arco. I missed our old fights before the war, but you forget, only one Pokémon has ever managed to defeat me, and Flame is not here,] Gallade stated, recovering quickly from Ethan's attack.
[You're right about a few things. I've never defeated you before, and Flame is indeed not here. Regardless, I'll bet you, Gallade. Count on it,] Arco growled as his aura flared around him, surrounding him in a bright blue glow.
A roar was then heard as Royal flew overhead in pursuit of the last Team Terror hovercraft and blasted it from the sky with another Dragon Pulse, sending the craft to the ground in a fiery wreck. Royal then landed behind her trainer, glaring down at Daniel who's expression couldn't be seen though his mask.
"I'll give you one chance to surrender, Daniel. Your Pokémon are tough, but do you really think you can win against Royal while Arco keeps Gallade occupied?" Alec demanded.
"Actually, yes, I do," Daniel replied calmly, much to Alec's surprise, but he kept his guard up. Daniel then pulled an Ultra Ball from his belt and expanded it. "Remember what I said about how I was saved by a new friend? Well, now you have a chance to meet him!" he shouted as he threw the ball into the air.
In a white flash, a massive Pokémon over twenty feet tall appeared in the air. He was mostly light blue with purple fur and hair. The ponytail on his head was large and bushy and held in place by two golden rings. His hair covered his chin, where it formed a pointed beard, and the back of its neck. His horns had a slight curve and had spiky purple hair around the bases, with three gold rings on each horn: two around the base and one around the middle. His eyes were yellow, with a pointed, dark gray nose, a small hole inside of the ring-marking on his forehead, and prominent fangs in the back of his lower jaw. His six arms floated next to its body, with large, dark gray spikes that appeared from holes along the sides of his body. Each arm had three fingers with dark gray claws, a gold ring around the wrist, and a gold ring around the base. Several tufts of purple fur surround his torso and a gold ring encircles a hole in the center of his chest. Another large gold ring encircled his waist and there were small tufts of fur poking out from underneath it. A purple stripe widened at the knee down each leg and two gold rings were around each ankle. The tips of his feet were gold and curled upward. Additionally, he had a tail with a purple stripe along the top and an arrow-shaped tip.
Alec's eyes widened as he recognized the Pokémon. He only saw it one time, and that one time was enough for him to realize this was one of the strongest Pokémon in existence. Hoopa Unbound. Somehow, Daniel had gotten the mythical Pokémon on his side and he was ready for battle.
Man, Alec just doesn't seem to be having a good day. Not only has his old enemy come back, but with what was probably the most broken Pokémon to appear in a move. Like, seriously, how the hell was Hoopa able to control six legendary Pokémon when separated into two Pokémon. Don't worry, I won't make Daniel's Hoopa that powerful, but you'll have to read the next few chapters for that.
As for the next chapter, I have three fights set up and each is getting their own chapter. And we'll start with one of my favorite female characters in MHA, and who's showing those who didn't read the manga why she's a favorite.
Until next time: Heroes vs Pokémon
