"Can Hawks really fly back to Japan?" Bakugo wondered.

"He's fast and has a lot of stamina. Most likely, he can make it halfway, then will need a break," Endeavor answered.

"If they can get out of the country, that's good. He won't be able to reach her form that far," Aizawa added.

Hawks was able to fly fast enough to get them two states away from Robin; when he did, he started to slow down so he could save stamina if he was going to fly to Japan.

They were over a beach, and Hawks decided to stop and hover in one spot for a minute.

"You can open your eyes now, kid," he said, using his finger to scratch her head.

Pix was hiding her face in Hawks's coat, afraid to look down, but when she looked out to the ocean, her eyes widened, and a few tears ran down her face. She had done what she envied, birds, for she flew away from what she was afraid of and was now seeing something she never thought she would see. She saw freedom.

"If you like my quirk, you'll like Japan; there are a lot of people that can fly," Hawks said as he continued to fly.

"I want to see them," Pix said as she watched the water.

Hawks smiled and picked up speed.

"Is it true a man-made bullet got rid of a person's power?" Robin asked the group.

"Izuku fought him one-on-one, right? Oh no, he fought one on two or really one on one and a half. Was that when you were kidnapped and destroyed All Might Katsuki?"

"How does he know all this?" Bakugo asked.

"I'm not sure," Aizawa replied.

"Right now, we should focus on locking him up," Endeavor said.

Aizawa shot out his scarf and wrapped it around Robin, restraining him.

"You really got gear out to fight a man who doesn't have a power?" He laughed.

They took him to the cell that Pix was held in, and they threw him in and left.

"Just because I don't have a quirk doesn't mean I don't know how to control them," she said as they walked away.

The three got to the plane and met Hawks on an island to pick him up, and Pix then flew back to Japan.

When they landed, Aizawa took Bakugo back to the dorms while Hawks and Endeavor took Pix to get checked out by quirk analysts.

At the dorm, Bakugo and Aizawa were welcomed back and given dinner. While eating, there was a knock on the door, then Endeavor, in his casual clothes walked in; Izuku knew what that meant. He quickly got up but stumbled a little, so Momo and Uraraka helped him, and the rest of the students followed.

When they got outside, Izuku saw Pix playing with Hawks wings. He was lifting her up and dropping her back down with some of his feathers since she liked flying with him.

"She's smiling," Izuku said as he teared up.

Hawks used his wings to face her to Izuku, and once she saw him, she was stunned.

Izuku walked down the stairs and towards Pix. He held up his shaking hand to touch her. Neither of them believed they saw each other.

Pix used her finger to poke the plan of his hand; when she knew he was really there, she backed away.

"Why did she do that?" Mina wondered.

"Her father threatened to kill them both if she was ever to see him again," Bakugo explained.

"That's horrible."

"I can't believe he traumatized her like he did."

Aizawa walked to Pix and whispered, "your father can't reach you here." He put his hand on her back and walked her over to Izuku.

"You're safe here," Aizawa told her.

Pix started crying and threw herself into Izuku's arms, causing the two to fall.

"That's adorable!" Mina said as she clapped.

Hawks escorted Pix and Izuku to Inko's house. When they arrived, Inko and Pixes hugged. Pix and Izuku stayed the night so the three could spend the night under the same roof.

Hawks left the three but flew on top of the apartment complex keeping an eye out just in case. He had a bad feeling.
