"It appears that a planet has appeared in the Outer Rim. Much of the galaxy is still uncharted, your excellency" Governor Tarkin said to Lord Sidious.
"Where?" demanded the Emperor. It was most unlike Tarkin to miss a planet. Could this be where the disturbance came from? Something powerful enough to make a planet appear out of nowhere? Tarkin pulled up a starchart and pointed to the planet of interest. An intake of breath from Lord Sidious, then "Bring me Lord Vader."
The Emperor didn't need to wait long: he was visiting Lord Vader's ship after all. Though, as Emperor, he was more the owner than a visitor. Technicalities. He sensed his apprentice coming, then heard his respirator, then saw the cyborg himself. Grand Admiral Thrawn walked in with him. Mitth'raw'nuruodo shouldn't be with him: he should be out catching rebels or pirates, but his political enemies have levelled ridiculous charges, such as war crimes, against him, and for all of his acuity in space battles, he was clueless about politics. Luckily, Thrawn has friends in high places. The court martial against him had been quietly closed, the charges and evidence erased, and he had just arrived at Lord Vader's warship. Thrawn executed a quick bow towards his emperor.
"Is this about Lothal? Those rebels will be dealt with shortly, and their Jedi captured or killed."
"No, I need you for something more important than Lothal. A new planet has appeared out of nowhere. You will bring us to this planet." Sidious pointed to the planet Tarkin had indicated earlier.
"Governor Tarkin, you will come with us. This planet is in the Outer Rim after all. I'm sure Director Krennic can keep Project Stardust on track in your absence." Lord Sidious enjoyed Thrawn's anger towards Project Stardust, but, to his credit, Mitth'raw'nuruodo said nothing. "Good! Dismissed". The Emperor let out an evil cackle and clapped his hands together gleefully in anticipation of a fight greater than the one with Yoda.
"I've decoded an Imperial transmission. A new planet has appeared in the Outer Rim, and the Emperor, Darth Vader, and Admiral Thrawn are going to investigate," said Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian with excellent hacking skills.
"That seems like overkill" said Kanan Jarrus, a Jedi Knight.
"This could be the chance we've needed, with Thrawn off our backs, we can destroy the TIE Defender factory," said Hera Syndulla, a Twi'lek pilot and the captain of the Ghost.
"But what about those people on that planet? With Darth Vader and Thrawn there, they won't stand a chance!" said Ezra Bridger, Kanan's apprentice.
"And neither do we. Do you think you could win a fight with Darth Vader? Remember what he did to you last time? How do you think you're going to help them? I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do," said Kanan.
"There's got to be something we can do," said Ezra.
"We'll think about it," said Hera.
I woke up. Where were these visions coming from? I had seen wedge-shaped objects in the sky. My headache meant it was probably a vision. But what were those objects? UFO's? They were probably unimportant. Then I had seen two men in black next to a blue-skinned man with red eyes in a white shirt. I could hardly see how cosplayers could be important, so I chose to ignore that vision as well. And it seems that a planet was going to receive a surprise inspection. Considering the number of planets in a galaxy, it probably wasn't Earth, so I chose to ignore that premonition as well. Still, I felt jumpy and left my germanium ring at home.
I ate my breakfast and walked to my high school, PK Academy. Everyone was there: Nendou Riki, Kaidou Shun, Kuboyasu Aren, Hairo Kineshi, Teruhashi Kokomi, Yumehara Chiyo, Mera Chisato, Aiura Mikoto, Saiko Metori, Takahashi, Zolbe, and the extras who filled out the classroom. School hadn't started yet, so they were all chatting.
"Did you hear about how all of the constellations changed last night?" asked Kaidou.
"No" said Kuboyasu.
"Not me, runt" said Nendou.
"It's foreshadowing the coming of Dark Reunion!" said Kaidou.
"Stop it with the Dark Reunion nonsense and let me copy your homework. I forgot we had any," said Nendou.
"What do you mean you forgot we had homework? We're 11th graders, of course we had homework!" said Kaidou.
"Just hand it over." Nendou took all of Kaidou's homework and started copying it. Kaidou started crying and told Nendou not to copy it exactly, or the teacher would know he copied.
"This is why you're at the bottom of the class, Nendou," said Kaidou.
"Whatever."
The day proceeded as normal, then some large wedge-shaped objects appeared in the sky, clustering over the world's largest cities. Kaidou had finally found proof of the existence of Dark Reunion, and he let everyone know.
"There're these things hovering over Tokyo. It's part of their plan to sort mankind," said Kaidou. 'Does anybody have a bunker? I'm so scared, what if it actually is Dark Reunion? They'll come for me, the Jet Black Wings, first! I bet Saiko has a bunker,' thought Kaidou, before walking over to Saiko and asking if he could come over to his house.
"What is this about Dark Reunion, don't make me laugh."
"So will you let me come over?"
"Only if you bring Teruhashi with you."
Kaidou walked over to Teruhashi's desk and asked her if she would like to come to Saiko's house. She said she would come if I came. Nendou overheard them talking, and said if I was going, then he would as well. Kuboyasu, Mera, and Yumehara decided to come as well. Yare yare. I don't want to spend any time with them.
I received a premonition. Maybe it would be a good idea to spend the afternoon in Saiko's bunker. I sent a telepathic message to my family, Aiura, and Toritsuka to find someplace safe to spend the afternoon. I also asked Mom to make sure my annoying kindergartener neighbor, Iridatsu Yuuta, was still visiting his grandparents in the countryside.
We all filed into Saiko's limo. Saiko was the scion of the wealthy Saiko conglomerate, so he had the best of everything. He even had a limo drive him to school each day. The only reason someone as wealthy as him went to PK Academy was because Teruhashi went there.
"You want to see my bunker? Ha ha ha! I'm so wealthy that even my bunker is nicer than the houses of you peasants!" Saiko was extremely annoying the entire ride there. "My bunker is strong enough and deep enough to withstand an H-bomb detonated directly overhead."
"Well so could a cockroach. Heh heh you aren't so rich," said Kuboyasu.
We arrived at Saiko's house, where he took us to an elevator. He placed his hand upon a scanner. "Saiko Metori, access granted," said the scanner. Saiko walked in and motioned for us to join him within the elevator.
We descended. The doors opened. Saiko began showing us around. "The walls are reinforced with 20 feet of steel and concrete. The Saiko group wanted to make sure that I would be safe no matter the circumstance." Saiko said proudly. "Here is our hydroponic facility. This will provide us with fresh food during our stay. We also have a greenhouse to provide us with tropical food. This facility is powered by geothermal energy and a hydroelectric dam across an underground river." Everyone else marveled at the underground rice paddies. In Japan, we put rice paddies everywhere. "Would you like to try a watermelon? It was grown fresh right here in this facility." 'This will show them the power of being unbelievable wealthy," thought Saiko.
Kuboyasu bit into a watermelon slice. "This is disgusting. How could you eat this?" said Kuboyasu. 'Yum yum. I want more watermelon. No! Don't show enjoyment, that is how he wins,' thought Kuboyasu.
"This is the best watermelon I have ever tasted," said Nendou.
"No, it isn't!" said Kuboyasu. 'Yes, it is,' thought Kuboyasu.
During the argument, Mera ate all of the remaining watermelons.
Saiko looked angry, then brought everyone to the manga café, then the bakery. In the bakery, I saw cake, and most importantly, coffee jelly.
'Oh, all of those cakes look so good! I wonder if Kaidou would like to share one with me, that would be so romantic!' thought Yumehara. "Kaidou, would you like to share a cake with me?"
"Those cakes have been poisoned by Dark Reunion!"
"Oh, Okay."
They had a great time. They played in Saiko's underground water park, picked oranges in the greenhouse, and sang karaoke. Even I had a good time: there was a very large amount of delicious coffee jelly.
One of Saiko's servants walked up to him and whispered in his ear. I, being a psychic, heard them clearly. "Young master, the UN says they will soon make first contact."
